This video discusses how law enforcement agencies, including military units, must adhere to legal procedures when detaining citizens, including the 48-hour maximum detention limit without court order and the prohibition of military arrest powers over civilians. The speaker criticizes the Counter Intelligence Command for allegedly detaining Justice Crack for over 72 hours without proper legal authorization, arguing that such actions constitute human rights violations and kidnapping. The speaker calls for accountability, including sanctions against the responsible commander and international diplomatic pressure, while emphasizing that citizens' voices can effect change through organized advocacy.

The not so intelligent Counter Intelligence Command. FREE JUSTICE CRACK! #nigeriaAdded:
For the first 24 hours, we suspected that Justice Crack was in the custody of the military.
At the close of 48 hours, we were sure that Justice Crack was in the custody of the military.
That is having run tracking with the police, having run tracking with even his laptop, and run tracking with his phones and everything, we, as a team, were sure that Justice Crack was in a military facility in Asokoro.
At the end of 72 hours, we were sure that Brigadier General W.
A. Adegboke of the Counter Intelligence Command was in custody of Justice Crack.
By today, it became clear because the video that is flying around now became clear to us earlier that even the vehicle of Justice Crack was still in the facility of the Counter Intelligence Command, CIC.
Three things. Number one, the not-so-intelligent commander of the Counter Intelligence Command held on to a citizen who only exposed the objective living conditions of troops on the front line.
Number two, the man is now holding him for his pride's sake.
It is illegal for the army to arrest any citizen. Even when they make arrest, they hand over to the police.
It is illegal for any law enforcement agency in Nigeria to hold on to a citizen for more than 48 hours without a court order.
No organization, army, police, DSS, anyone cannot hold on to a citizen beyond the 48-hour mark without a court order.
What it now means is that Brigadier General W.
A. Adegboke is acting on his own accord.
I want to use this opportunity to call on the Minister of Defense to sanction and demote Brigadier General W.
A. Adegboke. I will also encourage my compatriots and my comrades. I think we have that in the works already.
By Monday, all of the letters will go out. The US Embassy, the British High Commission, the Canadian High Commission, the German Embassy, the Embassy of Finland, and all of the major embassies, the United Nations, the European Union will be made aware of the human rights violations of Brigadier General W. A. Adegboke, who runs a not-so-intelligent Counter Intelligence Command.
We will make them understand, and we demand for a visa ban for him.
If he loves this country so much, if the killing of our troops in the front line, if the ravaging Boko Haram, and all of those other things are good for him, no problem. Let him live in the country. He will not have the opportunity to travel abroad, as 90% of Nigerians don't have the opportunity to travel abroad.
And Nigerians, let me assure you that your voices are heard. The pressure is working. Don't be distracted.
Don't be Remain focused on the goal. The goal is to get Justice Crack out, and he will come out. It's only a matter of time. As a matter of fact, I am sure that they are panicking now because if they are not sure of what to do with the fallout of Justice Crack. And I want to use this opportunity to advise other agencies of government.
The DSS, the police, do not let a rogue unit in the Nigerian army kidnap a citizen and come and hand a citizen over TO YOU.
THE PROCESS of arrest of Justice Crack amounts to a kidnap.
When you take somebody, you don't allow him to contact his family, you don't allow him to contact his friends, you don't allow him to contact his lawyers, you have not read any charges to him, you just hold him and you torture him, is a classical case of kidnap. Don't allow a rogue unit within the military to hand over a kidnap victim to you.
Let them deal with the fallout themselves.
They still have an opportunity to release Justice Crack. The earlier, the better. Thank you, and God bless all of you.
