The Temple of Heaven in Beijing, built during the Ming Dynasty around 1420, is a 600-year-old UNESCO World Heritage site where Chinese emperors performed sacrifices to heaven for good harvests, featuring distinctive architecture with red walls, blue and green roofs, and the famous Echo Wall that allows whispers to travel across its curved structure.

Visiting The Temple Of Heaven To See What World Leaders Experienced In Beijing, China 🇨🇳Added:
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another video here on the channel. Today we are exploring Beijing, China. And I'm very very excited to be here. This is my country number 76.
And uh China as a first impressions just been amazing and the country just keep surprising me more and more. The cleanness, organization and how everything functions perfectly even though this is one of the most populated countries in the world. China actually stands as number two as India is leading currently. But before India uh took over, China was leading for so many years with 1.4 billion people and uh India approximately has 1.5 billion people living. So our goal today is to go to the uh temple of heaven and that's going to be one of the highlights for me I think for Beijing. When I looked at all the landmarks which I wanted to visit in Beijing, one was definitely uh the Great Wall of China. No doubts.
Incredible. That was a wonderful experience. I'm sure you have seen the video in the channel. And then of course this temple which I want to visit. So as we are getting into the surrounding areas of the temple or in general there's like a huge park in this area.
It's becoming busy as you can see lots of tourist buses here too. And uh the security is very tight here in China in general. You see lots of cameras everywhere. Uh some of them are just for surveillance. Some of them are just for data collection and all type of cameras basically you see everywhere as you're traveling in China. But that it depends how you want to take it. Some people might be paranoid about it. I comfort I'm very comfortable. I feel very safe.
And uh also there are lots of uh security checks like here. So before we enter to the park, we have to go through certain screening. If you have a luggage or something, it will be controlled. Uh but I think also our passports will be checked before we enter all the way in.
So let's see how this process goes.
I'm not sure if there I think there is no I think there is no check here. This is just the machine doesn't work. I think it's going to be next part general service counter. Maybe this is where we need to get our tickets boat.
That might be the option. I think there is a machine and the payments and everything is very very easy. I could do this online too but if I come here it will be also quite easy process to just buy a ticket and the line is not too long. I think I'm going to go for the real person experience.
So there's the machines and then here are the people. So let's try to get a ticket. Admission ticket for high season it's around 15. 15. The ticket package for high season 34. 34 is the maximum we're going to pay.
Hello.
>> All right, guys. We are in. You hand over your passport, you get a ticket, and the ticket cost 34 yuan, and that's approximately $5 US. So, there was a cheaper version. You can actually just access to the park if you just want to walk around in the park. But of course, I'm here for the temple. So, I really want to visit the temple. So, that's why we went for expensive version. But China is so affordable. And I really like the fact how they are not discriminating between tourists and locals. Everyone pays basically the same price to visit to certain places and all the touristic places I believe. So um but that's not the case for some of the touristic countries you go to.
Foreigner price local price are completely different and there's a massive difference between them. So that's not the case for China so far. At least I haven't seen anywhere like something like that. All right. So it's quite busy and I think in general China is busy when you are going out during the afternoon. If you want to go to certain places you have to go really early morning or later during the sunset time which becomes a little bit more easy but China has so much population and the domestic tourism is massive in the country. So which means if you just like you don't see foreigners much but there will be huge domestic tourism. So people come from different cities in China and visit. I mean 1.4 billion people. They don't need foreigners. They don't need more people in this country like other countries like for example Sri Lanka is depends on tourism.
Maldives depends on tourism.
uh like a as a island, Bali for example, places like this. But China, none of these cities needs tourism from outside because domestic tourism is massive and Chinese people supports the Chinese businesses basically.
All right. So, it's pretty busy, but still you have your space for yourself.
And uh I think I want to go to the restrooms first and it's on the left side before we continue. So I will do the toilet visit quickly and then afterwards we're going to enter through this gates to the park.
All right guys, we had to come through this long hole here which is beautifully designed. And from here we can go to left hole of prayer for good harvest or we can go to divine kitchen. I think we're going to just quickly check the divine kitchen and then afterwards we're going to visit different places. Wow, the architecture is just incredible. All these colors, the green roof and blue combination and then the red fence and the columns. It's pretty outstanding.
I'm not sure what is this, but probably keeping some water here. That looks pretty cool, too. As you can see, it's very chill. You can just come around, take pictures, take videos. This is one of the things I love about China is that no one said anything to me about holding a camera. Not a single word. Everyone is just super comfy. And I mean there are cameras everywhere anyway. But uh neither the people uh or nor uh the the people who is like in power police security you know in other countries they love to power trip you as soon as they are security in some random place and they're like no camera no filming but China is like super chill and super cool and that's something I really appreciate. So you are free to go around take pictures and photos and no one will say anything to you. Even certain museums when you go to museums even there there is no like a policy no pictures no photos and in general Chinese people love to take lots of pictures and photos. So you will see that lots of people just walking around with a camera with a phone and they love to take pictures of random things even.
So, it's kind of like a little muz here.
We're not going to waste too much time here, but we can definitely come check it out. I think we're going to visit the next building right there and then see what we can expect.
Oh, China, man. I love it. And especially when it there's a good weather, when it's sunny, you cannot compare it. Everything is clean, everything is organized, taxi systems, payments, and uh I talked about the price of entrance to here, which is around $5 US. Uh another thing you need to know that in China, you don't use any cash. So no cash policy almost. I mean they legally they supposed to accept cash but literally nobody use cash. So Alip pay is always the way to go. So we have got a more museum art here. We have got some emperor clothing as you can see. We have got some art right here.
It's probably made from wood. This is from 7th century. So it's at least 300 years old item standing here.
I'm not sure what was this, but it's pretty cool.
I love the designs of things, the Chinese way, all the paintings and all the artwork, all the color combination is so different than any other countries. I have been in the region. I mean, there are some similarities to Bhutan. There are similarities to uh Japanese architecture.
Uh I guess Korean as well. I have never been to Korea, but I guess there are some similarities. But this is more about uh being closer to another country. So it's more about the ge geographic location. So like naturally things get shipped around and then the borders change. So you keep the culture and tradition and architecture from other parts of the world. All right, this was a quick visit here and then we're going to get to the main temple.
That's going to be the most exciting area for us to visit just in a bit.
All right, guys. We are approaching to the temple. As you can see, it's actually very, very busy here. I think here we're going to do the check of our tickets before we can enter because you can actually get a ticket. You can come only this area, but then your ticket needs to be checked one more time before you enter. And if you are visiting China and especially if you're visiting Buddhist majority countries, if you are visiting religious places temp like a temples, there is a one very important rule and when you're entering to the temple, there's always this barricade here. So this is the barricade you never step on. Like don't step on this barricade because it's a belief, it's a religious thing. So you have to always go over it instead of touching it. So, as you can see, nobody going to step on it. Everyone just goes over it. And we're going to do the exactly the same.
So, always hands up and the legs up. And then you cross to the other side. So, uh-oh. No, no. Stop there.
It's probably foreigner.
As you can see, most of the people are just doing it over. Oh, kids are doing it, too.
>> Okay. Maybe not everyone knows about it.
I'm not sure. But if you want to be respectful, then that's how you should do it. Basically, just always go over that barricade, especially when you enter to the temples. Maybe this one is not that important, but other ones will be more important.
All right, there's a little bit traffic here.
Wow, it is pretty busy here. Most of those people are coming from different cities from China and then they come in a tour company. So they travel with a big buses and uh they provide this type of services also to foreigners. So you will see that group of foreigners also traveling around like 20 30 people. All right guys, this is what we came for.
Check this out.
The temple of heaven. This is one of the most recognizable buildings in China. Especially if you are searching for Beijing, this is the one of the pictures will definitely pop up along the Great Wall of China, of course. So, as you can see, lots of people take pictures here. And when you travel to China, you will recognize that lots of people having this traditional emperor clothing like from different dynasties. And I'm assuming they are renting those clothes. They are not owning it. They are just renting it from uh certain companies to have the opportunity to take pictures in their traditional dynasty historical clothing which is pretty cool to see. Most of the woman does that but uh I think you can also find some men do it the same. So we are progressing towards the temple. I'm actually very surprised that this is allowed. You can actually come all the way here. I would rather have it, you know, protected.
All right, we're going to do a little bit around before we go one more up.
So, you can see everyone is in their traditional clothing, very colorful.
And uh it's very amazing to see how proud are Chinese about their history, about their traditions and culture. Obviously, I mean, imagine being Chinese and not being proud of what your country has achieved in so many decades and centuries. Imagine being like a Egyptian and not being proud of your Egyptian ancestry. Like, it's the same with China. I mean, who wouldn't be proud?
All right, guys. Let's give you the first impressions of the temple. Wow, it is amazing. Let me get to the shade.
Everyone, you can see has a phones and cameras. Everyone's taking some pictures. We have got a ladies here. And uh again, uh traditional dresses.
Look at this. Wow.
This temple is incredible. It's so beautiful. All the colors.
The bottom is red and then it's a combination of blue, green and then golden colors that goes three different roofs over it which is quite incredible.
And uh you might be thinking or asking about the temple itself. This temple was actually built in the beginning of 15th century. So if you calculate it, it's around 600 years old temple which we are visiting right now. So this was built during the mink dynasty and um the main purpose of this temple is actually do offerings to the heaven for a good harvest. So you know harvesting food is super important for humans and it always been for any any humanity even right now like we need to always have a good harvesting year or we are wishing for a better rain we are wishing for more uh goods more products and you know for especially for the bread. So same during that time and uh for that they were doing sacrifices. So they were doing animal sacrifices around this complex and also uh trying to bring the good vibes from the heaven and also connect the heaven with earth. So that was the idea of having this temple uh which is amazing and also during that time the dynasty or emperor was the son of god. So it wasn't kind of like connected to any specific type of a religion. It wasn't connected to Buddhism. It wasn't connected to I don't know any other religion. Uh there were of course local beliefs but this was literally just a opportunity to connect between heaven and earth for a good harvest. So that's why they were uh sacrificing animals doing offerings and offerings can be wine, can be some certain products, can be silk and things like this.
Wow, the sun is shining from this side and then we have got a even more better colors popping which is amazing.
when you're visiting a busy places here in China, you will have this speaker, especially when it's get crowded and especially when there is public holiday.
When there's a big public holiday, then those speakers are actually tripled uh because of the safety concerns. So, they're always announcing like probably keep a distance, be safe, watch out for steps and uh or don't do certain things.
That's what I'm assuming. I don't understand Chinese so I cannot tell you exactly what it is. Wow. This is this is absolutely amazing man. And from those doors we will get the opportunity to see the inside at least slightly.
>> Yeah. So I'm quite surprised to see that you know even those stairs can be used.
I mean those are also old parts of the structure but they have whole they have put this structure right here the new structure to protect the walls but uh regardless you can see the ladies are actually passing to the other side like she's literally in between those uh barricades and people are touching everything so using the steps.
I don't know. I guess China knows better than me. If I was if it was me, if if I was on power, I wouldn't let anyone to be here. Everyone can look it from down there. I think that would be better. But we wouldn't get the opportunity to see the temple from so close, which is amazing. So over 600 years of history struct structure standing in place and will be here for many more centuries which is beautiful.
I just realized there's a lady she actually do pictures here. There are lots of photographers here but she's printing out Polaroid pictures I believe. Now >> your photo and uh how much?
>> Uh 30 >> 30 you want. Okay. Okay. And now >> and then print now.
>> Printing.
Okay. Okay. Okay. Thank you.
>> Printing.
All right guys. I think we're going to get a nice picture. Uh give you or leave it here.
>> Okay.
All right guys. Maybe let me set you up on a tripod.
Maybe something like this.
>> Okay.
>> Okay.
>> It's good.
>> I think we have only one shot.
Okay.
>> Okay. Thank you.
>> We have got only one shot.
I'm not sure if you can actually choose between or no. Ah, we can choose uh change.
>> Okay. This this. Yes. Thank you so much.
Alipe.
Alipe.
>> Okay. Alipe. Okay. I hope Alipe will work because it does work with the businesses, but it might not actually work with individuals. I'm not sure if she's a business or she's just an individual. We're going to figure that out. It might not work out actually, but we'll see. So, uh ah it's going to she's already printed out and it will come out in a few seconds. All right.
>> Here's Alipe. Okay. Thank you.
So, I have a QR code which says pay when there. So, I hope it will work out. Uh, no, no, only one. Only one. Thank you so much. She's offering me second version, too. But I like what I see right now.
Very nice.
>> Very beautiful. Thank you.
So, it says pay vendor. I hope it will work otherwise I don't know. I have zero cash.
>> I I scan it. Okay. Okay.
No.
>> So, Alipe is normally working quite well. Okay.
One second. All right, guys. Let me figure this out and I connect with you just in a bit. I pay I pay you. Thank you so much. So, we just made a payment.
It's for I It was 30. I pay 40.
>> I will pay you what?
>> Okay. Thank you. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much. So this is the picture we have got guys. It's pretty cool.
>> So she was saying 30, but I gave her a little bit more. Even though tipping culture is not really big here.
>> Ah, she's asking me if I want pictures like this.
>> No, no, it's okay. It's okay. This is This is good. This is good. Thank you.
Sh. Thank you.
>> Ah, thank you. Thank you so much.
H. No, no, no. It's okay. This, this.
Yes.
Ah, no, no, no, no, no, no. Only this.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. Wow. It's amazing. They have got a little sticker you can put on the side.
And they also have a little bag you can put your picture, which is amazing. So, tipping culture doesn't exist in China, but I gave her 40 because I made her wait a little bit.
>> Sh. Thank you so much, Sh. Beautiful.
Thank you, Sha. Thank you. Thank you.
>> Bye-bye.
>> Bye-bye. Thank you.
>> Bye-bye.
>> Bye-bye. Sh.
>> Wow. People are just incredible. They are so kind, so welcoming, and uh I had to figure out the payment process, but seems like she's a vendor. That's why I could pay to her straight away easily.
So, let's uh have a look a little bit closer.
And in case you are wondering like how much was this? This was around $3 I believe or maybe even less. Let me check and tell you exactly how much we paid for it. So she asked for 30 and uh 30 is $4 and half. So $4 and half. Less than $5 on one picture.
>> It's probably okay price considering touristic place.
>> Oh man, there's so many people here.
I think what I have to do in order to show you, open the tripod and then do it like this.
>> Oh, sorry. Sorry. It's very very busy here.
All right guys, this was the heaven temple. Temple of heaven and it was pretty cool to come visit. And then we are on a high ground also. From here you can see the Beijing skyline and my hotel is actually located in that part which is CBD area. All these buildings and uh CBD means central business district. So it's all businesses and hotels and banks just right there which is pretty nice.
>> And the people are having pictures here.
This seems like the best spot. Like they're leaning towards and then someone is probably taking their picture from down below.
Look at this, man. So busy.
We are slowly leaving from the temple and this is how it looks. Absolutely beautiful. There's a photo booth right there. But I want to have a ice cream. I have seen this in the YouTube videos that they have shape of a temple basically as a ice cream. So I'm going to going to get one too.
>> So we're going to we're going to use alipe.
>> Hello.
>> Uh one one. Yes. And alipe.
>> Uh I have chocolate. One chocolate.
>> Is matcha?
>> Yeah.
>> Matcha. Okay. Chocolate. Chocolate.
>> Thank you. That easy. Just scan the QR code and I It's going to be paid just in a seconds.
>> Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you.
Sh.
All right, guys. Let me put my All right. I just put my sunglasses and then we're going to try this out. It's incredible. This is a ice cream in a shape of exactly like a temple we have right there which is super cool. All right, I'm going to use this trash bin as a stand for my camera and I'm going to tell you more about it just in a bit.
All right, beautiful packaging. Just slide this, you know, whatever information QR code is there and I guess expiration date and stuff like this.
It's called Temple of Heaven Blessing Ice Cream. That's what's the name of the ice cream. I'm actually very excited about this one. Uh, let me figure out how to open this. Do I just pull this?
No, I guess it's a should be two layers, I'm assuming.
Okay. Or maybe I Oh, no.
I'm really struggling, guys.
I'm expecting it's a two layers and then I just pull it.
>> I am not sure.
>> I'm not sure. I'm looking around if someone can help me actually.
I cannot really open it.
Like it's so sealed. I tried to find a second like I tried to find a like a space in between. But I think I'm going to ask this lady.
Excuse me.
>> Excuse me. You open it, please.
>> Okay. Okay.
>> Thank you, Sh. Thank you.
>> All right, guys. It was just that easy.
Like, it's incredible. Like, amount of details on this uh chocolate ice cream is that incredible. You can see the roofs. You can see the roofing, you know, all the details. Save in the down room. It's amazing. Let's try out the ice cream itself.
M.
What else do you need, guys?
Delicious ice cream just next to the temple. And ice cream itself looks like a temple. Quite a cool idea.
And I think people would just buy this to make a pictures and videos like me.
So, I'm sure that their sales are doing so much better than any other normal premium ice cream shop uh in Beijing.
All right, guys. We're going to check out the views. I will take few pictures and then afterwards, we're going to move on.
All right, guys. In this complex, there are so many cool places you can visit.
Of course, uh Temple of Sacrifice is right there. That was the highlight. And we are also visiting this place which is only right here 100 meter away. Imperial Walt of Heaven. It's also called Echo Wall. And uh we're going to go inside and of course hall of prayer for good harvest was located there. So it's just in front of each other only 300 m walk away. And then you arrive to this beauty. Check this out. are going to do another entrance and the same way right here. Don't step over it. Just step over it. Don't step on it.
And we are here. So very interesting fact about this place is that is the walls. This whole structure is actually round. So as you can see how what's the curvature there? It goes all around this place. And I'm not sure if it's true or not, but it's it's that's the reason why it's called echo wall because in a normal time, I think when there's not so many people, if you whisper on this end, far away at the other side of the wall, they can actually hear you. So if you whisper right here and then people on the other side of the wall can actually hear you because how curved is the wall.
Not sure if it's true. We cannot really test it today because it's so busy here and so many other noises that we cannot really uh put it in test. But this building, this structure is also pretty beautiful. similar architecture, round shape and then has only one roof and then under it is decorated with golden blue and green colors and also has a little pick at the end which was a golden color which is pretty cool. So there will be lots of rest area here too. So people gather just to take a rest from the sun.
There's some special tree here. It's called nine dragon cyprus. Chinese juniper is designed as first class ancient tree.
>> So people love to take pictures and for some reason actually people use their hands like they are doing like this and then they are rubbing it together.
Gives you energy maybe.
Okay. Very interesting. So they're probably taking energy. They put their hands and then they rub it to each other like bringing luck. As you can see this ladies here too.
Oh man.
>> Human human belief system is incredible.
Like it's amazing how people believe things. Of course there are always some reasons for it but uh that's how every religion borns. like you supposed to believe something stronger than you, superior than you. So, it's so interesting like all the religions are similar.
So, we're going to just uh take a little walk and get a shade.
And as you can see, there's always some food options. And then we have got I'm not sure if this is a ice cream or is this like a little Chinese pancakes but I guess it's it is ice cream. And then they have got some food here too. So similar shape like the other place.
Maybe they're actually chain. Maybe they work together.
All right guys, I think this is all about the temple and the park. It's massive.
You can I think spend a half day here.
Just explore around. grab some food, drinks, whatever you want. But uh we don't have so much time here in Beijing, so I'm not going to just rest around. We have to go see some new exciting places, guys. So, I'm just about to leave from the place. For $5, you can visit and spend the whole day here, basically.
All right, guys. Just outside the park, I have seen a lady selling some magnets.
I think that's probably her little scooter right here. She just parked here and then she actually selling it on the street on the main road where the pedestrians are crossing.
All right. We're going to get some magnets from >> Okay. Alipe. Alipe. Alipe. Okay. Okay.
>> Okay. I have no idea. I think this is a wooden structure. This actually looks pretty good. Probably it's a magnitude.
Ah.
>> 1 2 3 4.
>> 1 2 3 4. You speak English. Okay. Uh, no, no, no, no. Uh, let me see.
>> 15.
>> Okay.
>> 15. Uh let me see how much how much is this? I will give her >> um uh how much?
>> Uh but uh this this how much?
>> Ah this one is 15. So that one 15 and this uh >> Okay. Okay. How much?
>> Ah okay. So this one is 20 and then that one is 15. Uh basically I will tell you how much is it approximately.
>> 300. Wow.
>> Uh 1 second. One second.
>> Alipe.
>> Alipe. Alip pay. One second.
>> So 20 is basically $3. I think it's a pretty okay price. We don't normally supposed to tip to people here, but I will try to leave her little bit extra.
Let's see uh how much Alip pay. Huh?
>> Ali. So, you just scan the Alipe and how much >> total?
>> So, she's going to put how much is the total?
>> Total is 20. We're going to do uh >> 250 for her. Let's do 200 250 for her.
>> 250. I'm going to put my password. You don't supposed to see that.
Okay.
here.
Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah.
Yeah.
>> So, we paid uh $250 to her.
>> That's around $36 US.
Uh >> I have sent you 250 because I want to give you a little gift for your hard work.
Let's see if we get the translation.
Okay, >> one second. One second.
Okay, no problem. No problem.
I know the price. I just want to give you a gift.
>> One second.
Okay. Okay.
I'm not sure if she understands.
>> I know the price of the products. I just want to give you a big gift for your hard work. Thank you so much.
No, no, no, no, no, no. One second. One second.
One second. One second.
>> Where are you from?
>> Azarbaijan. Azarbaijan. Uh, I have no idea what she says. She says, "Which countries people do you want to be with tonight?" That's a wrong translation. She's asking where I'm from.
>> Oh, okay.
I do translation. I am from Azarbaijan.
I am Asian.
>> No, no, no, no. One second.
Okay. One second. One second.
John. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Uh What are you doing now? Are you referring to the country? I I'm not I'm not sure what she's asking, but I will just >> One second. One second.
>> I'm just traveling in China and I love your country and I love your people.
Thank you so much. I go now.
>> Uh-huh.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no gift.
>> Ah, this is pretty cool. It's a What is this?
>> No, no, no, no. Thank you. Uh, I take this, too. Okay.
>> Okay. Okay.
>> 20. 20. I paid you already. Alip pay.
Alip pay. Alipe.
>> I know. I already paid you. Oh my god.
>> Yes. Yes. I think she still don't understand. I paid her much more than it was supposed to be.
>> I have already paid you 250 with the QR code.
>> Okay.
Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
>> Thank you. Thank you. Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
Thank you. Bye-bye. Thank you.
>> All right, guys. This is how the communication goes with the local people here in China because literally nobody speaks English. She could only say 1 2 3 4 and uh but that doesn't help us to have the proper communication. So I ended up paying her I think she was only asking for uh I think only for 50. That's the number she put which is around $7.
And uh we have left 250 with her which is like $37.
I have to tell you something. Tipping culture doesn't exist here in China. You don't supposed to tip anyone. But uh I think when it's a big amount like a donation just to support her uh then I think it's kind of accepted. I'm not sure if she's going to be just surprised when she's at home in her Alipai account and see wow I've got 250 extra out of nowhere but maybe she actually understood me. So we had the language parer but actually managed everything through with the Google translate. So Alip pay is super easy. You don't have to have any cash. She just pay with the QR code which is pretty cool experience.
But I'm sure she does get lots of uh business there as she's sitting in a touristic spot. Maybe not the foreigners. Maybe pro foreigners don't buy from her but uh lots of other people like domestic tourism who does here Chinese people. I'm sure they are supporting her. All right, that was our good deed for today guys.
Now as we are here in Beijing, I actually want to take the opportunity to use their metro system and uh it's very easy to navigate here in China. And uh if you are coming you have to download few applications. One of them is Alipe.
Second one is beach. You have to forget about the Google maps and you should download a map called a map like a a like a letter a map a map and that's the name of the map which makes it so much easier to navigate for the taxis find the locations good restaurants and also um navigate yourself with the public transportation. So we are entering to the metro system right now. We are in a station called Tiano. Tiano station.
This is a green line, line number eight.
And this is the southwest entrance which is called D. And I will get to the metro. I will connect with you guys. I will show you how we pay, how the process goes, and of course how the metro system looks like here in Beijing in China.
All right everybody, we are just approaching to the selfservice ticket part. I think you can buy your ticket right from here. But uh I have seen that it actually works perfectly with a QR code. So we don't have to actually get any tickets uh from the machine. Uh but I want to show you the map of the Beijing Metro which is incredible. So right now we are here. You are here.
This is the um station number uh look this station is the Tiano and then the line is eight and as you can see how long is that? We are not going to change the lines. We're going to just travel in number eight. As you can see it's impressive. I think there are over 17 lines. I can see number 17 here. So there are 17 different lines and all of them are going into each other which is insane. No, there are actually 19. There are 19 different lines, which is impressive. So, we have got the ticket office right here. We have to go through the security first. And I think we got we're going to QR code our uh ticket.
Hello.
>> Thank you.
>> All right. We take our phone, take our bag. Thank you.
Yeah.
>> Okay.
I wasn't sure what do they need from me, but the one guy asked actually if I'm YouTuber. That's so cute. There's a nice artwork here just before we enter to the station. Hello. Nihow. Niha. So, what we're going to do actually scan our QR code and for that you need to just go to Alipe app. And Alipe is a lifesaver here, guys, which is super cool to get around. And you come here and then you click on transport and then it gives you QR code. So we are using bus metro service. So we're going to just scan it and hopefully it will open. I hope it will open. If not, okay, now maybe I was holding a little bit too far away that's why. So that's it. And then we're going to scan to exit. As you can see, it says here scan to exist. So, we have to wait for our last station and I think based on the stations, it's going to charge us whatever amount. So, you don't have to buy ticket. You don't have to deal with the machine there. It's actually super super easy. All right, I need to find my way. So, we are traveling to Ginyu Hutong and uh we're going to look at the map.
So, there are maps right there and there's a big map on this side. We need to go only four different stations and I think it's going to be this way.
So, we are going to here.
That's our station. Ginhutong. We will take the exit B. Ginyo Hutong. That's where we go. We're going to take four stops right from here. So, this is how the metro looks like guys. Pretty cool.
simple, organized, beautiful, everything you need to know. And on the ground, you can see that you have to wait here.
People leave, but there are no people right now. So, we just enter straight away.
So, and here we have it very clearly. So, we are visiting. We will go only four stops and we will get out Juny Hutong. But as you can see how many lines are connecting with green line, which is insane. So, it should be very hard to navigate yourself around.
And the metro inside it looks pretty simple, nice. Nothing too exclusive, nothing too crazy. I don't think there's any VIP area. There's no ladies area like in Arabic countries. I think the metro system in Arabic countries is even another level, which is incredible. All right, going to travel four stations and then we will get out very very soon.
>> All right guys, this is our station.
>> We are here.
>> The station is not so massive but it's very very organized.
And uh I want to also mention one thing.
You can see that actually hold the metro it has like a double doors. So that's for the security reason. So when it close as you can see is actually double door which is very interesting. I believe it's in every station going to be like that. Of course that's for your safety so you don't fall in the kids and stuff. So it's preventing all the accidents can happen while the the metro arriving. So, we're going to take our escalator out and uh I believe we are going to the exit exit B or something like this. We are heading direction to exit B. So, this map a map is actually incredible. It shows you exactly uh where you need to go, which direction to be the closest to your destination.
So, I think we're going to exit from somewhere from here. So exits B and C very organized and everything you can find in English too says east exit. So that's where we are heading right now.
We have got some um little shop here to buy some drinks if you like. And almost everywhere in China you will find power banks. Um like you can find you can scan QR code, rent it and then you can drop it somewhere else because these stations are almost everywhere uh near the restaurants, main streets, metros and I guess train stations and everywhere like this and then we have got some little shop here too which is pretty cool. So everything is a QR code. You scan a QR code and then the machine drops whatever you choose, whatever you have paid for, I guess. Or I don't know, maybe the whole fridge opens. Ah, it's a fridge.
So, it just just like opens after you pay for it and then you pick up the gift. So, I guess based on the weight or something, they are you can take the product. I'm not sure if it was in another country, you can open the QR code once and take everything basically.
All right, we do the same thing. We're going to scan the QR code. That easy.
Scan successfully. Please pass. So, everything in English. Quite easy to navigate around. So, that was it with the QR code. Everything is done. We have to find our exit. This is the direction we have to go. Ginu Hutong. Maybe Gino.
Maybe Ginu Hutong. I'm not sure. It sounds like a person name to me. So, that's the exit. Uh, that's the direction we're going to take. So, very easy to navigate from here. We're going to go exit or I can go for a B all the way to upstairs with the escalator.
Oh, I can go this way, too. Maybe I'm going to take this way. So, metro system, very modern, easy, super clean, organized, and easy to navigate through the maps. Uh, of course there are so many lines, so it can get a little bit overwhelming if you go for the first time, but you don't have to even buy a ticket. So, you don't have to tell exactly where you're getting out. You can just scan the QR code and then uh when you're going out, you just scan the car again and then they understand the distance. I think that's how they charge you actually, not by time, by uh the distance you have traveled through.
Pretty cool. So, I'm taking really long escalator right now out and we will be uh on the main street just in a bit.
All right, guys. We are out on the streets and it's a beautiful day today.
So, very, very sunny and I love China, man. As soon as you get out from the metro, you just feel like in a different planet. It just feels so different. Look at how everything is so cool, so organized. Of course, there are so many people in this city. Over 20 million people live here, which means you need lots of different type of transportation. And one of the coolest ways to get around are this uh bike. You can just take it and then you can put it anywhere near where's your destination and then people leave it on the street, but you can pick it up and then go. and of course taxis and cars and buses. So city is busy but it doesn't feel so busy. It doesn't feel chaotic. It doesn't feel like super crazy to me. So that's something I have noticed while being here at least in Beijing. So we have got a Hawaii uh shop like the pretty big one and then when you look to the other side of the street we have got a huge apple shop on the other side as well. Uh, Hawaii is the Hawaii. Hawaii, I think I'm saying it right. Hawaii or Hawaii is the Chinese brand and they're actually good with the cars, too. So, maybe let's just go visit to see if we can film some of their maybe newest products or whatever. Uh, English will be quite difficult. So, that's why we have to refer to our Google Translate.
That's going to make things so much easier for us. Maybe I can ask what's their newest products. This car is actually pretty cool. It's a China mate.
It's got a cameras here too outside.
Hello. Hello. Wow. That looks pretty cool. Look at how many screens are there. Like Tesla is nothing. Tesla has like one big screen. This one has like three different screens inside which is crazy. Look at the back seats. Like how much things you have got all the controls there. And then looks very very comfortable car to be honest. Very beautiful. I guess it's also electric. Uh because uh China especially Beijing had a very big problem with the pollution and uh that's why you see lots of new cars that uh they just basically prefer electric cars and also all the scooters and little bikes you see most of them are basically electric. So you don't really actually hear how they are functioning.
I would love to see uh what's their newest phone maybe. Hello. How are you?
>> I'm very good. You speak English?
>> A little bit. Uh what's the new >> make a video?
>> Uh yes, I make a YouTube video. Is that okay or is it okay? Okay. Thank you so much. Uh what is the newest Hawaii? Is it Hawaii or Hawaii? How do you say the brand name?
>> Uh sorry. I I say okay sorry. I want to ask first, how do you say the brand name?
>> Oh, Huawei.
>> Huawei. You say Huawei, not Hawaii.
>> Huawei.
>> Oh, can you speak? Can you can you stop this video because we are talking?
Sorry.
>> Ah, you don't want to be filmed.
>> Yes. Yes.
>> You You don't You don't want to be on the video.
>> Oh, we can. Sorry.
>> Oh, you cannot. Okay. Okay. It's fine.
No problem then. Thank you. I'm sorry.
Thank you so much.
>> All right, guys. Uh, I think he's not comfortable. That's why he said uh, no filming. But we're going to try to leave from the shop and I will show you some more cars. Actually, I think we're entering to the shopping mall right now.
It's pretty cool.
Everyone is super respectful, man. Like they could come and aggressively say no filming or like go go or something, you know, says no. And that's all about it.
So, these cars are incredible, man. They look so futuristic and like it's better than any super car you can find. We have got a my extro. It's the name of the the brand my extra. Look at this man. It looks like uh I don't know Bentley. It looks like lots of uh famous brands I think. Like it also looks a little bit Bugatti in the beginning like in the front part. Uh like Rolls-Royce. I think it's kind of very similar to Rolls-Royce brand.
Everything is super shiny and so beautiful. And I'm sure that that on top of that that's also electric and it has got cameras and sensors everywhere. So inside is super modern. Wow. Incredible, man. It's amazing to see all these shops. Let's go check out uh some other parts of the shopping mall. Just want to show you how the shopping malls looks like here in Beijing. Oh, we have got a little opening area. So maybe let's go check that out first. I'm not sure what is this brand we are walking through right now, but it looks pretty cool too.
So it's if you want to come for like a shopping either it's electronics, if you want to come check out for different food, if you want to buy clothes and China is basically the source of everything, guys. Like even the big brands, all their manufacturers are here actually. So we have got a big NBA shop right here. That's pretty interesting to see. I think I have never seen NBA shop in my life. Or is this just like a Nike shop and then they represent NBA? I'm not sure. How is it? All right. I think we are in this famous shopping street which looks pretty good. We have got a Nike there. We have got another shopping mall on the other side. And uh maybe I'm going to actually check out the Apple shop. I think that will be quite interesting for lots of people. Uh but especially for the American viewers.
Will be very interesting to know what are the prices, especially the latest iPhones. Maybe we can go check that out.
I hope they will let us to film. But normally filming is not a problem even inside the shops. But I think that was about the gentleman that he wasn't comfortable being on camera. So I think that was all all about it. But otherwise, you don't really have any problems in China while filming. So we have got a WFU center. I'm not sure if that's a food market or is this shopping mall as well. Man, it's so overwhelming to get used to everything you see. New test, new smells, new looks, new colors.
Everything is just amazing.
That's like a That's like a drink tap.
You can choose your drink and I guess you can do Alipe and then it just works.
First you have to scan a QR code and afterwards you choose your drink on the app. So you can go through Alipe, choose look at the menu, translate it through Alipe, you can choose the drink and then afterwards all you do is just like uh you can have your beer experience.
They have got all the cups there as well. Like these are the things I'm talking about. I've been over 70 countries. So as I said this is 76 and I have never seen anything like that. That on the street you have your tap experience.
Man, what a cool building for Apple.
Such a beautiful like traditional architecture of the building, especially the top part. And then Apple has got this pretty cool looking space. I think it's green right now. So, we can pass slowly to the other street.
Yeah, I love China, man. It's amazing. You have to It's not It's not an easy country to travel.
It's easy to travel around China, but you can you have to do so much research before you arrive here.
So, you have to download lots of new apps. You have to know what you are doing, how you are paying. You have to be very ready before you arrive to the country. You have to make sure all your bank cards are kind of connected uh to the applications like Alip Pay, VChat.
Uh so also lots of social media doesn't work here. So you need to have a VPN or you need to have a SIM card from Holofly that basically you get access to the internet but uh that card also comes with VPN. So you don't need additional VPN which is pretty cool. So lots of these like little details and not having any cash system. So your phone has to be always on. If your phone is dead means you cannot get around here. You cannot translate the menus. You cannot pay for things. You cannot get around with the metro ether, taxi, nothing because you don't have cash on top of that. So it's a pretty interesting country. So you have to do lots of research before you arrive to China. But once you are here, it's pretty cool, man. It's absolutely different different experience. All right, we have got a Apple shop right here.
I would love to see their newest iPhone and how much those things cost. I think it's a little bit more quiet on this side. So, I'm going to check it out. Uh, it's a simple Apple experience.
Nothing too crazy here. So, we have got a iPhone 17 Pro Max right here. Uh I think not sure how this works but I think we have to find the prices maybe this lady. Hi Niha. What is the price?
>> Yeah I will show you.
>> Uh thank you so much.
>> Promax right?
>> Uh yes promax and two terabyte.
>> Okay sure >> thank you so much.
>> Okay 2 terab it's 18,000. Okay thank you so thank you. So 18,000 that comes to 2,630.
So I was so wrong guys.
And then if you click on 1 TBTE it comes to 14,000.
Let's have a look at the 14,000 now.
That comes around $2,50.
So 1 TBTE 250 and then 2 TB was 1,000 no 18,000.
And that's around $2,630.
You want to know the 512 prices? It's 12,000.
It's 1,800. So, not a big difference between 500 and 1 TB.
Very cool. So, those are the prices for the latest iPhones, guys. But they have got a second floor. I think they have got a downstairs as well.
So if you live if you live in the US and if you know what are the prices let me know what's the comparison with China and US prices and obviously these phones are actually made here they are just assembled in California I have iPhone as well and uh that's what I always talk about when you actually want quality stuff from China can actually produce the best quality for you in the world but if you are requiring products then China will make it sure that you have it as well. Look at this shopping mall guys. I just enter to I think it's called Wang Fu Center or something like that or maybe that was the other building. I'm not sure. But this place is looking pretty cool. Of course, we have got a lots of foreign brands. We have got a Pandora right there. We have got a Dyson on the left side. Look like one, two, three, four, five, six floors up there. And each shop, I'm sure that's going to be busy. Desente. I have never heard the center. This might be maybe Chinese brand from Monaco. APM. This is a jewelry shop right here. We have got a coach from Beijing.
It's so cool, man.
That's what I'm saying. you can find anything, electronics, clothing, and uh I think probably very affordable prices.
Lululemon, this is actually becoming such a crazy and fancy sport brand and uh my wife use it. Some of my friends use it and they say it's super comfortable even though the prices are a little bit higher. Hello. Hello. So prices are a little bit higher uh on like more expensive end, but the clothing is very very comfy.
All right, we just arrived to the other side of the shopping mall. So there is also a little opening area here which is pretty cool. So I don't want to spend too much time here, guys. You just get the idea how the shopping malls might look like here in China. I'm sure this is not the best of best because I have seen lots of cool ones in China. Maybe in the other cities we will explore a little bit more uh to see more unusual shopping mall designs. We'll see about that. All right, going to sign out from here, guys. I think this video was over an hour and I will make another video from Beijing. So, you should definitely stay tuned for the next video. I will show you very exciting things about China which is so futuristic, so cool and amazing. Signing on. Signing out, guys. We'll see you in the next one.
