WHO declares Ebola outbreak public health emergency

[00:00:00]World Health Organization declaring the Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda a public health emergency. The agency says at least 88 people have died and there are more than 300 suspected cases. Ebola is highly contagious and often deadly.

[00:00:15]You can get it through contact with bodily fluids. Health authorities say the current outbreak is caused by a rare variant and there is no vaccine or approved treatment for it.

[00:00:26]We must manufacture vaccines, medicines that we need because we cannot on daily basis when we have an outbreak to be on panic mode. Currently, I'm on panic mode because people are dying. I don't have medicines.
