In fantasy narratives, characters who possess extraordinary power often face significant consequences when their true identity is revealed, forcing them to make difficult choices about their future and relationships. This episode demonstrates how Arthur Leywin's decision to reveal his true identity as the reincarnated king results in him losing his adventurer alias 'Note,' illustrating that power always comes with weight and that characters must accept the consequences of their actions while continuing to grow and mature.

TBATE S2 EP 9 "Your Majesty, I am grateful" Review | Arthur Loses His Note Identity!Ajouté :
Episode 9, Your Majesty, I Am Grateful, slows things down after the high-stakes arcs and delivers heavy consequences and emotional reflection.
Following the chaotic events in the terrifying graveyard and the fallout from the guild's investigation, Arthur Leywin faces a major restriction. He can no longer operate as the adventurer note.
The guild's interrogation has exposed too much, forcing the reincarnated king to retire his Loki alias and rethink how he moves in the world.
Meanwhile, Jasmine Flamesworth, fully healed from her serious wounds, makes her return to the renowned Twin Horns adventurer group.
We see her reuniting with old comrades, carrying the weight of everything that happened in the dungeon, and subtly processing her time mentoring Arthur.
The episode balances quiet introspection with important setup, Arthur reflecting on the cost of revealing even a fraction of his true power, heartfelt conversations that show growth in his relationships, and the lingering shadow of the great malice that continues to loom over Dicathen.
Big moments come in subtle but powerful forms. Arthur's mature acceptance of consequences, Jasmine's quiet strength as she steps back into her old life, and a touching scene where someone expresses deep gratitude to His Majesty, acknowledging the hidden king who saved them.
The vibe is more grounded and reflective than recent episodes. Bittersweet maturity, the price of power, and the transition from reckless adventurer freedom to calculated next steps as Arthur edges closer to Xyrus Academy.
Studio A-CAT continues their solid visual direction with a more dialogue-heavy episode.
Character expressions carry most of the weight here. Arthur's thoughtful, slightly frustrated micro-expressions and Jasmine's composed but weary demeanor are animated with real care.
The guild halls and Twin Horns reunion spots feature nice architectural detail and atmospheric lighting that makes the world feel lived in.
Gorgeous highlights include the warm nostalgic color palette during Jasmine's return to her party and the soul mana glows when Arthur reflects on recent battles.
The gratitude scene is particularly well framed using gentle lighting and close-ups to sell the emotional impact.
Gentle nudge, being a lighter on action episode, some conversational scenes could have used more dynamic camera movement or background activity to avoid feeling a touch static.
The animation quality remains consistent with the season's upward trend, but it shines brightest in the quieter emotional beats rather than spectacle this time.
Episode 9 is a necessary breather that hits with surprising emotional depth.
I'm obsessed with how the series is willing to show the real consequences of Arthur's actions. Losing the note identity feels like a genuine step forward in his growth, forcing him to be more careful with his kingly power.
Jasmine's return to the twin horns also feels earned and gives her strong agency beyond just being Arthur's mentor.
What's got me hooked hardest is that heartfelt your majesty, I am grateful moment. It's a beautiful reminder that even when Arthur tries to hide his past life self, his actions leave ripples that people notice.
This episode does an excellent job bridging the high action Elderwood arc toward the academy era while reinforcing Fate's core theme, power always comes with weight.
I'm crossing my fingers for Studio A-CAT to keep balancing these reflective episodes with strong animation when the action returns.
The slow burn character work is paying off big time.
Arthur's adventure days as Note are over, but the king's real journey is just getting started.
Bring on the academy arc cross swords classical building.
