Dinesh D'Souza: I Figured Out The REAL Reason Candace Flipped…"

[00:00:00]The basic idea here is that the malignant narcissist lives in a world in which the whole universe is constructed for your benefit. If you apply these sort of traits of malignant narcissism, let's remember Candace had a kind of ugly break. Nevertheless, I think she thought that she was the true kind of heir of Charlie Kirk. And all of this sounds to you and me a little unhinged, but it is not unhinged inside of the perverted world of malignant narcissism.

[00:00:28]So, without trying to quote diagnose Candace Owens, I do think that this phenomenon explains her behavior.

[00:00:54]>> Our friend Charlie Kirk was murdered um uh at the end of last year, and uh the trial is going on right now. Uh I don't have much to say about the trial. Uh perhaps you have something you want to say.

[00:01:08]>> Well, it's a it's a preliminary hearing, and so you don't have the full parade of evidence that you'd have in a trial, but you do get a a preview of what the trial is going to um look like. And right away we see that this is a a straightforward case with a tremendous amount uh of evidence. I mean, evidence coming from the alleged perpetrator, from his mother who identifies him in the videos, from his dad who turned him in, uh from uh the uh bullet uh casing which was still in the gun. Uh you know, part of it for me is I haven't gotten too involved in the Candace Owens shenanigans, but I just as I watch the trial, I'm trying to view it almost comically or tragically comically through the lens of a die hard Candace Owens. You know, because everything being said contradicts what she's been saying. Uh, she even says that it's not even Tyler Robinson in the videos, even though his own mother says it is. Um, she says he was never on campus. Uh, even though video shows him on campus before and during and after. So >> Well, let me let me ask you Dinesh, what do you make because this is always the ultimate question. What in the world uh, is with this woman Candace uh, Owens? I mean it it it's I've never been as baffled by anything as I am by by the phenomenon of this woman Candace Owens. I mean she seems to be either demonically possessed or I mean I'm not joking, right? It seems completely other worldly. Uh, her her her ability to spin facts and confuse evidently hundreds of thousands of followers. It's it's completely mystifying to me.

[00:03:05]>> Well, there is a um and there's a bunch of videos on this by the way on YouTube. The phenomenon is called malignant narcissism. And the basic idea here is that the malignant narcissist lives in a world in which the whole universe is constructed for your benefit. Uh, and not only that, but particularly if anybody runs a foul of that, you relentlessly try to malign and destroy them because not to do that uh, is to ultimately rupture your own preposterous self-perception. Now, if you if you apply these sort of traits of malignant narcissism, let's remember Candace had a kind of ugly break with the uh, with TPUSA uh, as she's had an ugly break with others, but certainly with TPUSA.

[00:03:55]Uh nevertheless, I think she thought that she was the true kind of heir of Charlie Kirk, uh the sort of twin of Charlie Kirk. She's implied that both of them are sort of celestial beings that have some transcendental features in common. And and all of this sounds to you and me a little crazy, a little unhinged, but it is not unhinged inside of the perverted uh world of malignant narcissism. So, without trying to quote diagnose Candace Owens, I do think that this phenomenon uh very closely explains her behavior.

[00:04:31]>> Well, I mean, if that's true and it sounds right, then it means I would guess, it means that her world eventually has to unravel. Eventually, this catches up with her. Maybe it's already catching up with her. Or, um you know, is it possible that there are enough messed up people to provide her with an audience for whatever it is she's spinning?

[00:04:57]>> Part of it I think, Eric, is that the the uh conspiracies of the past, you know, several years, many of them have proven to be right.

[00:05:06]Uh and so, conspiracy theorizing has gone into a kind of twilight zone domain.

[00:05:13]Uh and you can always interpret evidence, however persuasive, as further examples of the depth of the conspiracy.

[00:05:23]In other words, not only uh is uh Mossad in on it, not only is Egypt and the Macrons in on it, but now the judge is in on it, and the prosecutors. And guess what? The defense also. Why? Because the defense could call Candace Owens, right?

[00:05:38]She could get everybody off. She could get Tila Robinson right off the hook.

[00:05:41]But, they haven't contacted her, even though she's supposedly the world's most knowledgeable person about this case.

[00:05:48]So, this is what happens when you let conspiracy thinking run amok. It incorporates even counter evidence to show how truly Byzantine the the conspiracy really is.

[00:06:03]>> There was the great Dinesh D'Souza, a man I've enjoyed interviewing several times with tremendous insight and clarity. He's one of the most most brilliant people I've actually met over the years. Here he is exposing the illness of Candace Owens. Now now we have this pre-trial going on for the really saintly um Charlie Kirk. And what a what a disaster it's been to our society. What a disaster to our country.

[00:06:31]What a horrible death of a very good person that was fighting for Judeo-Christian values, fighting for Israel, fighting for sanity in the world, fighting for real politics, fighting for the family unit.

[00:06:45]Um all these terrible issues on the left that has been coming out over the years of us funding transgender surgery for children, um supporting Islamo-fascism around the world. Just name it. He He was right on in most of his issues.

[00:06:59]Now comes along this trial after his death and the evidence is pretty pretty powerful.

[00:07:05]This guy this creep Tommy Robinson murdered him.

[00:07:09]Um his parents were saying he was there.

[00:07:11]All the evidence points in that direction.

[00:07:14]Um everything's in the right place. This one person, maybe a few people, but the head of the Looney Tunes is Candace Owens.

[00:07:22]And she has some you know, conspiracy theories that she knows more than anybody in the world and first of all, she believes Macron's wife is a man. She's being sued in court by that libel. Uh now she believes that other people have murdered Charlie Kirk when it's all ridiculous.

[00:07:41]And what's really driving her, and I used to like Candace Owens. I remember she jumped on the scene I don't know about 5-6 years ago I started finding out about her. She wrote a book I think it was called Blackout or Blexit or something. That was a great book. I bought it, the kids read it. It was really interesting. This is great new young African African-American conservative.

[00:08:01]Um not so many young African-American conservatives like her, articulate, well-spoken. I remember she even was going to the wanted to go or went to the embassy moving in from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. I believe she actually went.

[00:08:15]I was very impressed by her. I was promoting her ideas.

[00:08:18]She worked for Ben Shapiro.

[00:08:20]She had some type of fallout, and I think we understand what the fallout is about because she's impossible to deal with.

[00:08:25]She went on her own. She's very has a great a personality. She's a great speaker, very powerful with her audience, can develop a real following, especially with um supposedly young mothers sitting at home all day with nothing to do. And she then started peddling at some point suddenly these conspiracy theories, terrible anti-Semitism, going after religious Jews, going after Israel, uh really Looney Tunes stuff, but not even like okay we could debate about Israel and policies and left wing left wing left wing right wing.

[00:08:57]But she goes off into severe severe historical anti-Semitism like Jews poisoning wells, um using Christian children to eat to to make their matzos, real horrific blood libels which the death of millions of Jews over the last 2,000 years. She starts using all these crazy ideas.

[00:09:15]She starts saying Jews killed Charlie Kirk and Israel killed killed Charlie Kirk which had nothing to do with it.

[00:09:21]When the Tele Robinson's parents are saying we see that he killed them that they agree and they understand this is the evidence at hand he was on campus.

[00:09:28]The bullet proved it, the ammunitions proving it, his comments online are proving it, his comments to his the transgender individual he's living with or close to approve it. There's so much overwhelming evidence. So, where is Candace Owens coming from? Well, it seems to come from exactly what Dinesh D'Souza is saying is some type of malignant narcissism. I can speak as a therapist right now. Narcissists are just focused on themselves. They are the center of the universe. They tend to either demonize people or highly idealize people. They will get very close to people at times and then going to extreme rejection modes as well. You see that with borderline personalities. You see that the other types of narcissists a little bit more organized than that.

[00:10:14]They just think that they know everything. No one knows as much as they do. Everybody's trying to hurt them.

[00:10:21]Everybody's trying to destroy them. Now, the problem with these people is the minute you even question any of their theory, they go out and attack you. You become the enemy. They have to more than just attack you, they have to destroy you. They live in this horrifically frightening world. And I feel bad for her children cuz I treat narcissists that do terrible abuse to their children. They live in this terrible frightening reality. Uh cognitive behavioral therapy, we call this black and white thinking.

[00:10:47]You're either this or you're that.

[00:10:50]You're either good or you're evil. And then you start lining up most of the people that disagree with you are your absolute worst enemies. They must be destroyed. Then you come up with theories against them. It's this endless type of domino effect of black and white thinking, of theories, of destruction of other, and um self-absorption, self terrible self-reflection. These people have no moral conscious, really. It's only about self and destroying other.

[00:11:16]There's no balance. This woman could be spending her time going after Islamofascism. She could be going after the left very carefully. Instead, she chooses to go after straw men that don't exist, horrific conspiracy theories. All the evidence in the world is pointing in the opposite direction. If she's such an expert as Dinesh D'Souza points out, then why is she not called upon by the trial to deliberate all of her incredible information she has that no one in the world has besides Candace Owens in her little podcast in her studio wherever she may live.

[00:11:48]The answer is that she has no ideas.

[00:11:51]She's a false prophet. She just gains attention. She's gaining attention right now as we have to spend so much energy and time dispelling her. It's unfortunate. It's a tragic. It's a sad story. It's It's a sad story for the conservative party. The Republican Party needs allies right now to defeat the real danger of this country is the Democratic Socialists of America is Islamization of the country is the political left of this country.

[00:12:17]That's the real danger that's going to threaten every single American. It's going to take away your wages, import more illegal immigrants immigrants into this country, defund the police, make your lives less safe uh force you to educate your children in a certain way, freeze rent so people can't improve apartments, uh seize your property as Mondani's openly calling for in New York City right now. These are dangerous people to the way of life of America.

[00:12:42]Candace Owens would be much better off focusing on the real dangers to America instead of wasting our time on conspiracy theories conspiracy theories, but I just love Dinesh D'Souza. What a great insightful individual. Again, I've met him several times. Wonderful guy.
