[00:35:01]It helps to prevent as well as reverse type 2 diabetes.

[00:35:07]Anybody in the house with diabetes, make sure you take your daily exercise.

[00:35:15]All right, I will just look at two more. It also in it also improves the brain activity by increasing supply of hydrogen. It helps create new nerve endings and improve mental ability.

Because at the end of the day, we need to understand that the Bible says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Amen. The Bible says that we were born in sin and shapen in iniquity. So for us to make it into the kingdom of God, we have to be recreated in Christ. Amen.

[00:58:20]>> Because when we were born, we were born in what? Sin. And for us to make it to heaven, we need to do what? Reborn. We need to become a new creation. We need to become a brand new man. AND THAT IS WHY WE'RE HERE TONIGHT. WE'RE HERE TO TELL SOMEBODY THAT LISTEN, IN SPITE OF YOUR past life, in spite of what has happened in the past, in spite of even your present situation, God can make you into a new creation. I love the book of 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse number 17. It says, "Therefore, >> WHAT DOES IT SAYS? THEREFORE, if any man be in who?

[01:02:22]So you see when we having crusade and we meet all sort of challenge and obstacles don't let it surprise you. Why? Because the Satan that OLD SERPENT IS ANGRY WITH THE REMNANT CHURCH OF GOD.

[01:02:40]And the Bible says that he will make war >> hallelujah >> with the rest >> of God's search who keep the commandment of God and have what the testimony OF JESUS CHRIST. BUT IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT SATAN IN IS ANGRY, WE HAVE TO TAKE A STAND AND DECLARE OUR ALLEGIANCE to the lamb OF GOD.

[01:03:07]WE CANNOT GET AFRAID AND SCARED WHEN THE DEVIL IS ANGRY. WE HAVE TO STAND UP FOR JESUS. I LOVE THE song in our himnel that say, "Stand up. Stand up for Jesus.

[01:03:29]It must not suffer loss.

[01:03:33]From victory and to victory his army shall he lead. AND GUESS WHAT BRETHREN? GOD HIMSELF WILL LEAD HIS CHURCH FROM VICTORY TO VICTORY. WE HAVE NO DOUBT. UH WE HAVE NO FEAR BECAUSE IN SPITE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD, GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL.

[01:04:04]His army he will lead. And as we take a stand for Jesus Christ, Revelation chapter 1 and verse number five says to him who what? Love us and washed us from what? Our sin is his what? HORN BLOOD.

[01:04:20]UH AND MADE US AS WHAT? KING AND PRIEST TO HIS GOD AND FATHER. AND HIM TO HIM BE WHAT? GLORY AND DOMINION FOREVER and ever.

[01:04:33]>> We have nothing to worry about, brethren. When we stand up for Jesus, can the church say, "Praise the Lord."

[01:05:09]What is it that we need to do to take a stand for Jesus? Do we continue to live our life h as we have been LIVING EVERY DAY, DAY AFTER DAY, week after week, MONTH AFTER MONTH? DO we do that? NO. WE TAKE A STAND BY GIVING OUR LIFE TO JESUS IN WHAT? BAPTISM.

[01:05:33]AMEN. THE WAY THAT WE BECOME A NEW CREATION IS WHEN WE GIVE IT ALL TO JESUS IN THE WATERY GRAVE OF BAPTISM AND START ALL OVER AGAIN.

[01:05:50]Baptism is a symbol of what? Commitment and loyalty and allegiance to who?

[01:05:59]>> Jesus Christ. WHEN WE BAPTIZE IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IT SHOWS THAT WE HAVE PLEDGED OUR ALLEGIANCE TO WHO?

[01:06:12]>> Jesus when he walked the earth just before we leave just before he died on Calvary cross he gave his disciples a commandment. He said what? Go ye therefore and teach what? All nation baptizing them what? In what? THE NAME OF WHO? THE FATHER AND OF THE >> AND OF THE WHAT?

[01:06:33]>> HOLY GHOST, TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I command you. And lo, THE BIBLE SAYS, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN UNTIL WHEN?

[01:07:05]>> But there is one part of that where a lot of people in today's society who profess to be followers of Christ have a problem with.

[01:07:17]There are some who will say who will see you on the street and say are you a Christian and you say yes. They said in whose name did you baptize? And when you say in the NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY GHOST, THEY SAID, "NO, YOU'RE NOT BAPTIZED YET. YOU NEED TO BAPTIZE IN JESUS' NAME ONLY." BUT WHAT DID THE BIBLE SAY? WHAT DID JESUS SAY?

[01:07:43]>> HE SAID, "BAPTIZE IN THE NAME OF WHAT?"

[01:07:46]THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

[01:07:54]THE BIBLE SAYS ONE LORD, ONE FAITH AND ONE BAPTISM.

[01:08:00]>> AND THAT BAPTISM MUST BE IN THE NAME OF FATHER, SON, AND HOLY GHOST. AS PETER SAID, THERE IS WHAT? THREE THAT BEAR WITNESS IN HEAVEN. THE FATHER, THE WORD, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. AMEN.

SO YOU WANT TO SAY THAT YOU'RE A FOLLOWER OF GOD AND EVEN THE WAY THAT JESUS SAID YOU ARE TO BAPTIZE, YOU REFUSE TO DO IT. WHO ARE YOU REALLY FOLLOWING?

[01:09:01]>> BRETHREN, it is very important that we read the word of God.

[01:09:08]That is why when Jesus as they asked him the the question in Matthew chapter 24 he said listen tell us Lord when will these things be what shall be the sign OF YOUR COMING? THE FIRST THING JESUS SAID, listen to me people, take heed and let no MAN DECEIVE YOU BECAUSE MANY WILL COME IN MY NAME, SAYING THAT I AM CHRIST AND DECEIVE WHAT? MANY. BUT JESUS SAID, YOU NEED TO TAKE HEED TO MY WORDS AND LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU.

[01:09:52]I rather to follow God >> than man.

[01:10:06]>> Baptism is mentioned more than 80 times in the New Testament.

[01:10:13]>> And if THE BIBLE MENTION IT SO many time, it mean that it is important.

[01:10:23]>> AND THE NEXT QUESTION IS HOW WAS JESUS BAPTIZED? BECAUSE TODAY WHEN I WAS DOING RESEARCH as I was preparing the topic baptism, I learned something amazing.

[01:10:36]I learned that there are so many ways that people are doing baptism today. I hardly can keep up with it.

[01:10:43]I LEARNED THAT THERE ARE SOME WHO WILL CALL YOU ON THE PHONE AND SAID THAT YOU ARE NOW BAPTIZED in the name of the father, the son, and the holy ghost. And that's the baptism.

[01:10:52]>> There are SOME WHO WILL BAPTIZE YOU WITH AN EMAIL.

[01:10:56]THERE ARE SOME WHO WILL SPRINKLE SOME WATER ON YOU AND GUESS WHAT? IF YOU'RE TOO BIG OF A CELEBRITY, THEY WILL NOT WET you up. They'll get some rose petals and sprinkle some rose petals on you and you're baptized.

[01:11:11]There are so many different ways. People find some very unique way to disobey God.

[01:11:17]>> BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY, IT IS GOD'S WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. IT IS GOD WAY OR NO WAY AT ALL. IS EITHER YOU GIVE GOD HA OR HIM DON'T WANT IT.

[01:11:29]>> HALLELUJAH.

[01:11:32]>> But I believe say we can give God what we please and say God this may give you take it. And the same thing came try in at the garden of Eden. And guess what happened? THE SAME EXACT THING, NOT IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN. AFTER THEY WERE KICKED OUT OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN, GOD SAID, "LISTEN, I want you to bring a blood sacrifice." Ken said, "God, well, want me have a you go and get, a food me plant, A FRUITS ME PLANT, AND A DOT YOU GO AND GET." AND HE GIVE GOD, BUT GOD SAID, "NO, keep that to yourself. We don't want it."

[01:12:04]We need to understand that when God said listen this is what I want it simple mean this is what I want. Let's hear how Jesus was baptized. It says what >> it came to pass in those days that Jesus came to where? Nazareth of where?

[01:12:24]Galilee and was baptized by John where >> in Jordan River. Listen what John chapter 3:23 SAYS. NOW JOHN ALSO WAS BAPTIZING IN WHERE? ANY NEAR WHERE?

[01:12:38]>> SALEM. BECAUSE THERE WAS WHAT? MUCH WATER THERE. AND THEY CAME AND WERE BAPTIZED. THEY WERE BAPTIZED WHERE THERE IS MUCH WATER. BECAUSE WHEN IT COME TO BAPTISM, THERE IS ONLY one method of baptism and that IS TO GO UNDER THE WATER AND COME OUT. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.

[01:15:30]So I want to tell you something here tonight brethren. If God has sent truth to you every day and you turn it down, guess what? One day liar go come and that's what YOU WILL ACCEPT. AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD TODAY. GOD HAS BEEN SENDING THE TRUTH OF HIS WORD FOR YEARS AND WE TURN OUR BACK ON IT.

[01:15:51]But the Bible says my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. But you know what is the most interesting part of that Bible text?

[01:16:07]It says because they REJECT KNOWLEDGE.

[01:16:11]SO IT'S NOT THAT KNOWLEDGE DID NOT COME THEIR WAY BUT THEY REJECT THE KNOWLEDGE.

[01:16:17]AND GOD SAID WHEN YOU REJECT KNOWLEDGE THAT HE SENT EVEN your third and fourth generation will be rejected.

[01:16:25]>> Brethren, we need to be very careful >> of what we do with the information that God give us because he said that if you love lie and hear truth, you will end up accepting LIE AND REJECT TRUTH. THAT IS THE WORD OF THE LORD. AMEN.

[01:16:45]>> The Bible says it is the father, the son, and the holy spirit. It is not known Jesus only. And that has been existent from the beginning. Because the Bible says when man was supposed to be created, God said, "LET US UH MAKE MAN."

[01:17:06]WHEN SODOM AND GOMORRA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DESTROYED, GOD SAYS, "NOT NOT SODOM AND GOMORRA." WHEN UM THE TOWER OF BABEL, THE PEOPLE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE CONFUSED OR CONFOUNDED, GOD SAID, "LET US GO DOWN."

[01:17:25]>> There are so many places in the Bible where God refers to himself as what? Us.

[01:17:32]Even though the Bible says that the Lord our God is ONE GOD, BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT IS A SINGLE INDIVIDUAL, I WANT TO TELL SOMEBODY HERE TONIGHT THAT THE NAME THAT GOD IS NOT A NAME, BUT IT is a title.

[01:17:48]So when he said the Lord our God is one God, he's practically selling just like how Jamaica have one government with many members of parliament who make up that government is the same way God is one God with the father, the son, and the holy ghost. Amen, church.

[01:18:04]>> Amen. The Bible says in Acts chapter 10:38, God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power.

[01:18:14]What did HE ANOINT HIM WITH? THE HOLY SPIRIT and with power.

[01:18:21]So if you accept the Lord as your personal Lord and Savior, he can anoint you with the Holy Spirit and power just the same. The story is told in the book of Acts chapter 8 about an Ethiopian uno.

[01:18:39]The Bible says that this man went to visit Jerusalem and as he visited Jerusalem, he was on his way home and he was reading the book of Isaiah chapter 53 where it says that he was wounded for our transgression and he was bruised for our iniquity. THE CHASTISEMENT MADE OF OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM AND BY HIS STRIPE WE ARE HEALED. AND GUESS WHAT? HE HAD NO IDEA WHO HE WAS READING ABOUT. SO THE HOLY SPIRIT BRINGS PHILILLIP RIGHT TO THE CHARIOT BECAUSE GUESS WHAT BRETHREN? WHEN GOD SEE THAT YOU'RE IN SEARCH OF TRUTH, HE WILL SEND SOMEBODY. AND BECAUSE GOD REALIZED UH THAT BERRY HILL IS IN SEARCH OF TRUTH, HE SEND US HERE.

So I want to tell somebody here tonight if it is that you have been baptized any other way that is NOT BIBLICAL. AMEN. THE BIBLE SAID YOU NEED TO BE DIPPED OR IMMERSED OR PLUNDERED.

[01:23:18]Even in the ancient churches, it revealed the method of baptism that is acceptable in the sight of God. In first century Philippi, this was a baptismal pool. Anybody reading the Bible about Philippi and the church in and the church in Philippi? They had what? Baptismal pool IN TURKEY WHERE THE HEART OF GOD IS FOUND JUST RECENTLY. FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAD BEEN SAYING FOR YEARS THERE WAS NO FLOOD. Guess what? Even the scientists are stunned today. Why?

[01:23:54]Because the heart of God is found in Turkey today.

[01:23:59]>> And guess what? They had baptism of pool union in caves and in rock in these ancient church. Amen.

[01:24:11]>> According to historians, it was not until what? The council of what? Revena >> Revena in when >> 1311 AD THAT SPRINKLING AND POURING were officially accepted as equally valed as immersion in the rights of baptism. But I want to say it was accepted in 1311 AD. But the question that we need to ask ourself is it accepted even till TODAY IN HEAVEN? NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. AMEN.

[01:24:50]>> What does baptism really mean?

[01:24:53]>> What is the right of baptism? Let's go to first ro I mean Romans chapter 6:3.

[01:24:58]It says, "Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into who?"

[01:25:04]>> Christ Jesus was baptized where? Into his >> death. THEREFORE, WE WERE BURIED WITH HIM THROUGH BAPTISM INTO DEATH. UH JUST AS CHRIST WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD BY THE WHAT? GLORY OF OF THE FATHER, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

[01:25:26]Baptism symbolically mean the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

[01:25:37]When we die from sin, when we accept the fact that we are sinners who deserve death, the Bible says that self have to die. When we go down under that water, IT REPRESENT THE BURIAL OF JESUS CHRIST.

[01:25:51]WHEN WE RISE FROM THAT WATER, IT REPRESENT THE RESURRECTION IN NEWNESS OF LIFE. UH ALL THINGS, THE BIBLE SAID, ARE PASSED AWAY AND BEHOLD, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW.

[01:26:09]I WANT TO TELL somebody something tonight. There are those who will say that, you know what, I cannot give my life to Christ in baptism yet because I have some things that I need to fix first. I need to sort out my life first.

[01:26:21]But I want to tell somebody, but you cannot sort out your life on your own.

[01:26:26]The more you try to pull out yourself out of things that you're tied up in IS THE MORE THE DEVIL WILL WRAP YOU UP AND TIE YOU UP. I WANT TO TELL SOMEBODY TONIGHT THAT LISTEN, YOU HAVE TO DIE TO THE WHOLE MAN OF SIN BEFORE CHRIST CAN GIVE YOU THAT NEWNESS OF LIFE.

[01:26:49]>> It take death first before you can have that new creation.

[01:26:55]And anybody remember the topic for the topic for tonight? I am a what? New creation. Guess what? You cannot have a new creation while the old man of sin is still living. YOU NEED TO DIE. THE OLD MAN OF SIN NEED TO DIE AND BURY IN THAT WATERY GRAVE OF BAPTISM SO YOU CAN LIVE IN NEWNESS OF LIFE.

[01:27:22]SO, some of us might be wondering, you know, I've been trying to sort out my life for years now >> to give my life to Jesus. And guess what? Every day you believe say you fix one problem, one next one develop. Why?

[01:27:36]Because you're taking things in your own hand. You need to take your burden to the cross and leave it there. YOU NEED TO BURY THEM IN THE WATERY GRAVE OF BAPTISM SO THAT JESUS CHRIST CAN RISE YOU UP >> in newness of life. Only Jesus alone have that power.

[01:28:00]Only Jesus. That is why he said to Nicodemus that listen you must be born again. AMEN. CHURCH, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. OUR FIRST BIRTH WAS IN SIN UH AND INIQUITY. BUT WHEN YOU BORN IN JESUS CHRIST, UH THE BIBLE SAYS UH YOU ARE RAISED UP UH TO NEWNESS OF LIFE UH PAUL SAID, LISTEN IT IS NOT I BUT CHRIST UH THAT LIVETH IN ME.

[01:28:34]>> When you give your life to Jesus Christ in baptism, it's no longer I.

[01:28:40]Whenever time it is I, I know that I am in problem because it's the same I I attitude that get SATAN KICKED OUT OF HEAVEN. IT IS THE SAME I I ATTITUDE BECAUSE HE SAID I WILL ASCEND. I WILL EXALT MY THRONE. I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH. WE NEED TO GET RID OF THIS I I attitude and said not I >> but Christ.

[01:29:09]that liveth in me.

[01:29:13]>> And that is the problem that most of us are having.

[01:29:16]>> Hallelujah.

[01:29:17]>> Because it's all about I.

[01:29:20]We need to leave out the I, not I, >> but Christ that live in me. Baptism.

[01:29:30]Baptism represent dying to what? The whole sinful ways of life.

[01:29:38]It also represent burying our what? Sin under the watery grave and rising up again out of the water to walk in a new life with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior from sin. Baptism does not mean that you're perfect. It mean that you're committed. Amen.

[01:29:59]>> And that's what a lot OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH BECAUSE THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WHO need who believe that they need to get their life perfect before they can COME TO CHRIST. AND GUESS WHAT? THERE ARE SOME CHURCH MEMBER WHO EXPECT NEW CONVERT TO COME IN PERFECT WHEN THEY THEMSELVES HAS BEEN IN THE CHURCH FOR YEARS AND STILL NOT PERFECT.

[01:30:30]Some of we will tell you say listen we grew up in the church >> and then we tell you why you need to do when you just come in and guess what even though they grew up in the church the one who just come and live better life finger >> WE NEED TO STOP IT AND ALLOW GOD TO WORK IN THE LIFE UH OF THE NEW CONVERTS. WE NEED TO STOP POINTING FINGERS AND STOP >> SU SU.

[01:30:59]>> We need to cut it out. Especially when new converts come in church.

[01:31:05]>> I WANT TO TELL SOMEBODY, LISTEN, IF YOU HAVE A NEW CONVERT WHO COME TO church and when you look upon them, the clothes that they wearing is not so fitting for church setting. DON'T WALK AROUND AND and and see as we SAY IN JAMAICA. DON'T WALK SOUND AND CRITICIZE. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO, CALL THE PERSON one side and talk to them. And if it's that, IF THAT ALONE THEY HAVE, ALLOW THEM TO WEAR it until God made things DIFFERENT FOR THEM.

[01:31:29]STOP, WALK AROUND AND POINT FINGERS >> AND CONDEMN.

[01:31:37]Some people talk about new convert come short clothes and tight clothes. And if you them, >> WE NEED TO CUT IT OUT.

[01:31:51]Baptism does not mean that we become perfect after baptism. IT MEANS THAT WE ARE WHAT? COMMITTED.

[01:32:08]Sometime God is trying to bring our new converts to the sanctification program.

[01:32:13]But before God can sanctify them, we draw them in through the front door and fling them out through THE BACK DOOR. WE NEED TO STOP IT.

[01:32:29]Just remember who you were when you just baptized. And guess what? Some of us is not who we were, but who we still is today. WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS JESUS WHO SAVED. IT IS JESUS WHO CHANGE OUR LIVES.

[01:32:44]>> Time for we stop >> point fingers.

[01:32:49]>> All we need to know baptism does not make you perfect.

[01:32:55]It mean that you are committed to Jesus Christ.

[01:32:59]>> And we sing a song that says all the way my savior lead me. What have I to ask beside? Can I doubt his tender mercy?

[01:33:10]Whom through life uh has been my guide?

[01:33:13]UH HEAVENLY PEACE UH DIVIN COMFORT HERE BY FAITH UH IN HIM UH I WILL DWELL UH FOR I KNOW WHATEVER BEFALLS ME. Jesus doeth all things well.

[01:33:29]>> But a lot of the time >> we want to cut out the part that talk about his tender mercy.

[01:33:37]It's about time we start to behave like Jesus Christ. Amen.

[01:33:43]>> Baptism give us a a new sense of direction, a new freedom and a new spiritual power.

[01:33:53]I want to share a little bit about my baptism.

[01:33:57]16 years ago, I was baptized in Brownstone Church by our former president, Pastor Carl Archer, who is now our secretary of the Jamaica Union Conference.

[01:34:12]When I was baptized, there were family members that say, "Listen, me give him two week, >> too."

[01:34:20]And him gone and me alone talking to me and my wife SAY WEAK.

[01:34:29]I REMEMBER ONE FAMILY member >> in particular and guess what she live and dead and the two week not done yet I AM STILL HERE >> I WANT TO TELL SOMEBODY THAT LISTEN I NO MAN carry me in this church and God BRING ME HERE AND GOD BRING ME HERE FOR a purpose I'm not going to make no bad mouth get me out of here.

[01:34:56]AMEN. CHURCH AND NEW CONVERTS, UH, YOU NEED TO REMEMBER THAT YOU WERE NOT CALLED TO EVANGELIST. UH, WE CALLED YOU TO JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH THAT TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD.

[01:35:12]>> You were not called to pastor Fool or Pastor Clark either.

[01:35:16]>> You were called to Jesus Christ.

[01:35:20]>> And if a Jesus call you, >> you must allow only Jesus to run you. So if I know Jesus run you, if they TELL YOU TO GET UP AND COME out of the church, tell them you NOT MOVE BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CALL YOU, IT WAS JESUS WHO CALLED you move.

[01:35:39]>> Nobody get rid of me out here. I am here to stay and nobody can move me out here by the grace of God. What when does baptism happen? What happened rather when we are baptized? The Bible says that what?

[01:35:56]>> Every sin is forgiven accord according to Acts chapter 2 and verse number 38.

[01:36:02]He says that then Peter said to them repent and let everyone of what you be what?

[01:36:10]>> BAPTIZED IN WHOSE NAME?

[01:36:12]>> THE NAME OF JESUS FOR THE WHAT?

[01:36:14]REMISSION OF YOUR SIN. IT SAYS also that the spirit of God is given to you. We find that in Mark 1:10 in Acts 2:38 and39 it says immediately coming up out of the water he saw the heaven parted and what the spirit descended upon him like a what dove. I want to tell somebody brethren the same spirit that fall upon Jesus is available TO US TODAY.

[01:36:40]>> AMEN CHURCH.

[01:36:42]>> THE SAME SPIRIT IS AVAILABLE TO US TODAY. Acts 2:38 says then Peter says what? Repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sin. AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE SPIRIT. For the promise is to you and to your children and to all who are a far off as many as the Lord the Lord our God will call.

[01:37:08]We are adopted into the family of God.

[01:37:12]It says, "Then those who were gladly then those who gladly receive his word were baptized and they and that day about 3,000 soul were added to them and they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship in the breaking of what? Bread and in prayer.

[01:37:34]And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved." So the Bible says that when you're baptized, you become a part of the family of God.

[01:37:48]Amen, church.

[01:37:49]>> It doesn't matter if you're black or you're white, you're yellow or you're pink. It no matter which color you be, the Bible says when you give your life to Jesus, you become a part of the family of God.

[01:38:04]But there's a question here.

[01:38:07]What about the question of baptizing in Jesus name only in reference to Acts 2 38?

[01:38:17]There are those who build a doctrine on that one Bible verse.

[01:38:22]When they ask you about baptism as I said earlier on and you mention the father and the spirit they said no you never baptize right you baptize wrong. And they said, when you ask them why you said that, they say Acts 2:38, Peter say you must baptize in the name of Jesus for your remission of your sin.

[01:38:44]But how did Peter get to that point?

[01:38:48]Let me remind you of what happened at Jesus's death.

[01:38:55]Jesus was referred to throughout Israel as a false prophet.

[01:39:03]EVEN CAIAPHAS THE HIGH PRIEST tell the people that Jesus was not the son of God.

[01:39:10]WHEN JESUS DIED AND WAS BURIED, WHEN HE WAS RESURRECTED, THE SOLDIERS THAT WAS WATCHING THE TOMB, THEY WERE PAID TO SAY THAT IT WAS HIS DISCIPLE who steal his body.

[01:39:23]>> So right throughout Israel, the people did not truly believe that Jesus was actually resurrected.

[01:39:33]SO PETER HAD A JOB TO DO TO CONVINCE THE PEOPLE. SO WHEN HE SAID BAPTIZE IN THE NAME OF JESUS FOR THE REMISSION OF YOUR SIN, let's get some background on that.

[01:39:43]Acts 2:31 and 32. It says, "Seeing this before what spake of what? The resurrection of Christ. THAT HIS SOUL WAS NOT LEFT IN HELL, NEITHER HIS FLESH DID SEE CORRUPTION. THIS JESUS AS GOD DID WHAT? RAISE UP WHEREOF WE ARE ALL WHAT >> WITNESS. HE SAID LISTEN REMEMBER THAT HIS DEATH HIS BURIAL AND HIS RESURRECTION WAS PROPHESIED OF THAT HIS BODY WILL NOT SEE CORRUPTION AND PETER said listen the same Jesus who them tell you sign disciples steal him body a lie GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD AND TODAY HE'S ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD AND GUESS WHAT I AM A WITNESS Peter says >> therefore being by the right hand of God exalted AND HAVE HAVING RECEIVED OF THE WHAT?

[01:40:41]FATHER THE PROMISE OF THE HOLY GHOST. He has what?

[01:40:47]>> He did what?

[01:40:48]>> Shed forth this which he now see and heard. Listen what verse 36 says. Now therefore LET ALL THE HOUSE OF WHAT?

[01:41:01]ISRAEL KNOW ASSUREDLY THAT GOD HAS MADE THE SAME JESUS WHOM HE HAVE WHAT CRUCIFIED BOTH LORD AND SAVIOR. WHY HE SAID THAT THEY ARE the one who crucify him? Because when he was at par pilot um judgment yard what did the people shout crucify him and give us Barabas. SO, PETER SAID, "LISTEN, GOD HAS MADE THE SAME MAN who we have crucified, Lord and Christ."

[01:41:33]The Bible says that when they heard these things, listen now. Now, when they heard this, they were prick in their heart and said to Peter and to the rest of THE APOSTLE, "MAN AND BRETHREN, what shall we do?" AND HE SAID, "WHAT?

[01:41:52]REPENT AND LET EVERY ONE OF YOU BE baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sin. WHY DID HE PUT EMPHASIS ON JESUS? Because the people already believe in the father. They already believe in the holy spirit. BUT THEY BELIEVE THAT THE DISCIPLES STOLE THE BODY OF JESUS. SO HE SAID TO THEM, YOU NEED TO BE BAPTIZED UH NOT ONLY IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, IN THE NAME OF THE SON, BUT IN THE NAME OF THE SPIRIT RATHER, BUT YOU NEED TO BE BAPTIZED IN JESUS name >> for the remission of your sin.

[01:42:25]>> Is that clear church?

[01:42:27]>> It is as clear as Christian. That is why the Bible says in the book of Isaiah, line must be upon line and precept must BE UPON PRECEPT. HERE A LITTLE AND THERE A LITTLE. YOU CANNOT READ ONE LINE FROM THE BIBLE AND MAKE A DOCTRINE OUT OF IT.

[01:42:44]>> That is the same reason why they said that. Listen, when the Bible say rise Peter, kill and heed, God say must go eat and clean meat. And guess what? In few verses follow, the Bible was so clear. But guess what? Next week we will hear more ABOUT THAT.

[01:43:00]>> AMEN CHURCH. WE CANNOT READ ONE VERSE AND MAKE A DOCTRINE. The Bible says the father, the son and the holy spirit.

[01:43:10]That is Jesus final command to his disciple before he left.

[01:43:16]>> Who was the gospel commission given to?

[01:43:18]The 12 disciple. Who was the right of baptism given to? The 12 disciple. And if Jesus gave them that commission, he would have tell them how they are to be baptized. AND HE SAID BAPTIZE WHERE? IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY GHOST.

[01:43:39]>> What steps should a person take before baptism?

[01:43:47]They need to go into Bible study for one year or go into Bible study for 6 month.

[01:43:55]I believe that the the Ethiopian uno was in Bible study for a couple minute.

[01:44:00]So what are the steps that the Bible says we are to take? Let's look at it.

[01:44:05]The Bible say one, you need to do what?

[01:44:07]>> REPENT. WHAT DOES REPENTANCE MEAN? A genuine sorrow for sin.

[01:44:13]>> You need to be sorry for the sins that you have committed. Then the next thing it SAYS BELIEVE AN ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS AS BOTH WHO? LORD AND SAVIOR. THEN THE BIBLE SAYS YOU NEED TO LEARN INSTRUCTION INTO THE ESSENTIALS of Bible faith. Some people might be asking or might be wondering what IS IT THAT WE ARE TEACHING THOSE WHO WE ARE BAPTIZING TODAY UNDER THE TENT WE HAVE BEEN PREACHING THE 28 FUNDAMENTAL BELIEFS OF THE 7TH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH THAT IS TAKEN FROM THE BIBLE.

[01:44:50]SO WHAT IS BEING PRESENTED UNDER THE TENT NIGHT OF THE NIGHT IS THE DOCTRINES OF THE Bible >> Bible teachings. If you notice a nighttime virgin, I don't come up here with my own words and my own opinions about God word. I will read for you the word of God.

[01:45:10]>> IT IS THE WORD OF GOD THAT IS PRESENTED HERE NIGHT AFTER NIGHT.

[01:45:18]There are some who said that listen I baptized one time already and I don't need to baptize again.

[01:45:25]What is it that the Bible say about the question of rebaptism?

[01:45:31]Should a person ever be rebaptized?

[01:45:36]Let's hear from the Bible. An in an an individual may desire to be rebaptized if they once were baptized and departed from Christ but now long to return.

[01:45:49]Let's see where that is found in the Bible. Hebrews chapter 6:4-6 it says for it is what? Impossible for those who were what? Once enlightened and HAS TASTED OF THE HEAVENLY GIFT AND WERE MADE PARTAKER OF the Holy Ghost.

[01:46:06]WHAT DID THE BIBLE SAYS? WHEN YOU ARE BAPTIZED, WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE? The Holy Ghost. These person were once baptized.

[01:46:13]But what Paul said? No. It says, "AND HAVING TASTED THE good word of God and the power of the world to come, IF THEY SHALL WHAT? FALL AWAY TO RENEW THEM AGAIN UNTO REPENTANCE, seeing they have crucified to themselves the Son of God, Aresh, and put him to hope and shame."

[01:46:36]The Bible says that if you're a Christian and you backslide, you have crucified Christ Aresh unto yourself and put him to open shame. So for you to be what? Renewed again. FOR YOU TO BECOME THAT NEW CREATION AGAIN, you need to be rebaptized.

[01:46:55]>> Is that clear church? So if it is that you're a member of the 7th day Adventist church and you have backslide some of us have it to say that you know I have been a good Christian you know even though not come a church you know me still a good youth or me still good girl the Bible says that listen the moment you walk away from Christ uh what happened you HAVE CRUCIFIED HIM ARESH AND PUT HIM TO hope and shame there's a part in the Bible says that a man who walk away from Christ is like a dog who has returned to his own vomit. And I want to tell everybody clear. I'm not calling anybody dog here tonight. Amen church.

[01:47:35]>> But the Bible says that it is like a what?

[01:47:37]>> Dog returning to his >> own.

[01:47:42]Number two, they are committed Christian. Who? Well, let me read the topic again. An individual may desire to be what?

[01:47:51]Rebaptized if they are what? Committed Christian. who have what discover the truth of God word and desire to be a part of his commandmentkeeping people.

[01:48:06]>> So that is actually saying just putting it in a nutshell. If you're a member of another denomination outside of the 7th day Adventist church and by coming to these meeting or by the Bible workers coming to your home and present the word to you, you realize that God require his Sabbath to be kept. You realize that his commandments are to be kept. You realize that unclean meats are not supposed to BE EATEN. YOU REALIZE the truth of God word. Then the Bible says that now you need to be what? Rebaptized and become a part of the commandmentkeeping people of God.

[01:48:43]>> Hallelujah.

[01:48:44]>> Is that clear church? Let's look at the Bible where that is. Acts chapter 19 and verse number one. And it says that it came to pass that when Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coast came to Ephesus and find a certain disciples there.

[01:49:08]He said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you were baptized?"

[01:49:16]SO THEY SAID to him, "WE HAVE NOT SO MUCH AS heard whether there is a Holy Spirit."

[01:49:24]>> And he SAID TO THEM, "IN WHAT THEN WERE YOU BAPTIZED?" SO THEY SAID, "Into what?

[01:49:31]John baptism." Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, SAYING TO THE PEOPLE THAT THEY SHOULD believe on him who would come after him that is on Jesus."

[01:49:50]When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of Jesus of the Lord Jesus.

[01:49:57]That was the second baptism. What happened now? Let me explain to you what happened. WHEN THESE MEN WERE GETTING BAPTIZED, THEY DID NOT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. SO WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS POURED OUT, THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT. WHY?

[01:50:13]BECAUSE OF LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE WORD OF GOD CLEARLY.

[01:50:23]Just as though there are some people who are in some other denominations outside of the 7th day Adventist church, they don't understand the right of baptism.

[01:50:32]So they were baptized in Jesus only.

[01:50:34]THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD THEIR GOD. SO THEY DON'T ACCEPT IT.

[01:50:41]THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND BECAUSE THEY ARE SOME FALSE PROPHET WHO WILL TELL THEM SAID NOTHING THAT GOD HAS CLAIMED SHALL A MAN CALL UNCOMMON AND UNCLEAN SO THEY eat everything on the earth.

[01:50:55]But the Bible says that listen when the 7th day Adventist church come to Berry Hill and WE PREACH THE WORD AND IT IS NOW CLEAR TO YOU. THE BIBLE SAYS THAT IT IS NOW TIME FOR you to be rebaptized and become a part of the commandmentkeeping PEOPLE OF GOD. CAN THE CHURCH SAY PRAISE THE LORD FOR JESUS?

[01:51:23]>> Praise the Lord. God is a wonderful God.

[01:51:26]Brethren, >> that's why the Psalms this David said, "Give thanks unto the Lord for his mercy endures forever." Virgin, it is the mercy of God. While this message can be presented tonight to those who did not understand, can the church say, "Praise the Lord." IT IS THE MERCY OF GOD.

[01:51:48]>> GOD IS a loving, kind, and compassionate God. Amen.

[01:51:53]>> How important is baptism? Some might ask.

[01:51:57]Some will tell you that listen, I don't really see any need for baptizing because I am a good person. I am not so bad.

[01:52:09]I have not been lying and stealing and killing. I am not so bad.

[01:52:16]There are those who will said that listen I am not so much of a bad person but what is it that the Bible says the Bible said all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God even those of the old testament the Bible says that when they were coming out of Egypt and they passed under the sea that was their baptism.

[01:52:39]Jesus the Bible said is perfect. He has never committed any sin. But yet the Bible said that he was baptized and when he was baptized, he was anointed by God.

[01:52:52]So as for us today, the Bible says to us in the book of John chapter 3 and verse number five, Jesus answered, let me just give you a little background on this story. It was Nicodemus, one of the ruler of the people who said that listen, you know, because I a ruler, I am a man in society AND I AM RESPECTED BY PEOPLE. THIS MAN CALLED JESUS. I AM PREACH SOME THINGS. I'm not so sure about it. So guess what? I can't approach him make people see me but still I want to know the truth.

[01:53:23]>> And the Bible says that Nicodemus went by night >> and asked him a question. Anybody remember what that question was?

[01:53:33]>> What must I do to be saved?

[01:53:36]And Jesus said, "You must be born again."

[01:53:45]>> He answered and said, "How can I enter back in the womb of my mother and be born again?" Jesus said, "Imagine Nicodemus.

[01:53:54]You are one of the ruler of Israel and don't know these things."

[01:53:59]Nicodemus is a lot like there are some like like we have some people here today. Yes sir.

[01:54:04]>> They have been attending a certain church for a certain amount of time and even though they hear the truth of the advent message is being presented here, THEY WANT TO GIVE THEIR LIFE TO JESUS BUT THEY ARE AFRAID TO COME BEFORE EVERYBODY. So some people will take night and hide. But Jesus said to Nicodemus, verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man be born of the water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into what? The kingdom of heaven. He said in Mark 16:16, he that believe and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believe not >> shall be dumb.

[01:54:49]There are some who will say church people love condemn people.

[01:54:56]But I want to tell somebody here tonight that none of us under this tent cannot condemn you.

[01:55:02]>> Amen church.

[01:55:04]>> The only person who can condemn you is you.

[01:55:08]>> Is that clear church?

[01:55:10]>> THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN CONDEMN YOU IS YOU. NOT EVEN JESUS CHRIST WILL NOT CONDEMN YOU.

[01:55:18]>> THE BIBLE SAYS HE THAT BELIEVE AND IS BAPTIZED IS THE ONE THAT WILL BE SAVED.

[01:55:28]>> If you refuse to believe and be baptized, the Bible said you are already condemned. Not because Seventh Day Adventist condemn you, not because Jesus condemn you, but because you have condemned yourself.

[01:55:43]So the question the Bible says 2 Corinthians 6:2 as I get ready to wind up. Behold now is the what?

[01:55:57]>> Accepted >> accepted time.

[01:56:01]>> Behold now is the day >> of salvation.

[01:56:48]Just stand where you are. Walk to the altar and we call on the name of Jesus together because the word of God says it is the blood of Jesus Christ that wash us whiter than snow. So I invite you tonight, stand where you are and walk to the altar.

So we come committing ourselves into your care, placing our hearts in your hands, our lives at your feet for you, Lord, to forgive us of our sins, to cleanse us, and to bless us. We pray for all those who have come to the altar that you will look into their hearts and their lives. That you'll break every shackle that may bind them.

[02:03:42]remove barriers that stand before them or help them to get over those barriers and give them strength to place their hands in the hands of God knowing that they cannot lose when Jesus they choose and the devil they refuse.

[02:04:07]Heavenly Father, let your Holy Spirit reach every heart so that no one will be the same after the message tonight. Even as we leave here to go to our homes, Lord, let angels go with us. And when we lay down to sleep, grant that no one will be able to sleep peacefully.

Lord, just as I made that bold step years ago, I'd have no regret. Help them to know that it is no secret what God can do. what he has done for me, what he has done for other church members, he can and will do for them.

And the best thing one could ever do is to give their heart to God. And when we give our lives to God, we become a part of the family of God. And that's the part of the family that I would love to be in.

Now this Sabbath coming will be having another Sabbath celebration and for sure it promises to be big and the best of all so far.
