PTSD, veteran suicides marked with Naval Park tribute

[00:00:00]I'm Ron Plants here at the Buffalo Naval and Military Park. And uh as you may be able to see here, there are a number of small US flags that have been put into place. Actually, the Battle Within Foundation, which is raising awareness about PTSD and veterans who have returned home and actually committed suicide, some of them who may be struggling with mental health issues and other problems as they make their adjustments to the home front, so to speak. Uh they're actually putting in 7,300 flags here that will symbolize the 7,300 estimated uh US service members who committed suicide over the past year after struggling with PTSD.
