[00:00:12]Most people, when solving this math expression, first, they go for this division between 48 and 12 and write instead of this expression 4.

[00:00:24]Then, they go for this subtraction between 3 and 3 and write instead of this expression 0. Finally, they go for this multiplication between 4 and 0 and write instead of this expression 0. But, this answer is not correct because, according to the order of operation, which is PEMDAS, we have to solve this math expression in this way. First, parentheses, then exponent, then multiplication or division, and then addition or subtraction. Remember that multiplication and division have the same level of priority, and addition and subtraction have the same level of priority, too. Now, according to the PEMDAS that is here, in first step, we have any parentheses. In next step, we have any exponent. In step three, we have one division here and one multiplication here. And as we know, according to the PEMDAS, multiplication and division have the same level of priority and higher priority than subtraction. So, we have to work from left to right. Now, we have to start with this division in left side. 48 / 12 gives us 4. Now, we have 4 * 3.
