The texture of a blush significantly impacts its application and finish; powdery blushes like the VAR Plume Blush create a matte, feathery finish that is easier to blend and less likely to appear heavy, while creamier blushes offer more intense color payoff but require careful application to avoid looking cakey.

Violette_FR Plume Blush & Le Kabuki Brush | Feathery Blurry MakeupAñadido:
Hi friend. So good to see you. You're looking beautiful as ever. I have my complexion done today and it's quite matte and it's because I just got the new VAR plume blush. I got one of the shades here and I thought this matter complexion is befitting for this quite feathery blush as well. So the shade I have here is in rose rose plume.
There's a little swatch mark in there.
It's because I swatched it. I couldn't wait. I received this. I believe it was last night. So that's this shade here.
Let me just put it on the back of my hand. And it is very, you can see it's very moussey and feather like.
First impression of this blush is smelling the compact, there is a very faint perfumey smell.
It is rosy and a bit powdery and a touch sweet as well in this blush. And if you're wondering, texture of this blush is actually quite unique in my collection because it is that cream to powder, but it's more on the powdery side. So, it's more kind of drier.
Some comparisons, and I think the closest one will be the Chanel.
these blushes. They're the dew contrast intense blushes. I have the shade here is in rose radiant.
Just do a little swatch. As you can see, this one is moussey as well, but compared to the Ver FR, I think the V FR is more matte compared to the Chanel. You can see the Chanel has that radiance reflection, but Ver is completely matte just on the hand here.
So that's VR and that's Chanel.
And as you can see, Chanel has that bit of a satin radiant finish whereas VR is definitely that flat matte. And also comparing to one of the new blushes recently which is by Prada. This one by Prada is in Dalia.
This one by Prada I find to be more creamy. The finish you can see here.
It's also that mousy finish. The texture I find it to be a touch thicker compared to the V FR. So when you put your finger in the Prada, you're able to pick more product up. So that's the Prada. That's the V F.
You can see the color is also more intense as well in the Prada, whereas the V F definitely lives to that feathery, more hazed out finish.
And if you want to know how it compares to the existing blush in the Villa FR range, which is the Bizu blush, it's a stick cream blush. I have the shade here called Louise.
Just swatch it here.
So, this is definitely a cream, but again, this is on the matte side as well. So, that's Louise there. The color intensity is much more intense compared to the plume.
The blendability is also very nice in this cream.
And all of these blushes that I just demoed all have a scent to them.
Obviously different scent, but they're all scented.
My eyes are still naked, so I'm going to do a really quick eye look with also the VA FR eyeshadows too in the Plume range.
[snorts] The first one I'm grabbing is Ola Cafe, the lightest matte shade, just with my fingers.
And that's how easy it is to apply on these eyeshadows.
Using the medium shade now in boys brulee again with the fingers just on the outer corners of the eyes with boys brulee. I want to go in with a detail brush and use this on the lower lash line.
just along the lower lash line here.
Then with a liner brush and the darkest shade in carbon fume, going to use this as a liner.
This is pretty much the same look that I did when I first demoed this eyeshadow.
Going to quickly do mascara and I'll be back.
Now, with the Plume blush, a little kabuki brush was also released. I got the brush as well. It's immensely cute and it's really, really soft. I'm actually quite surprised with the softness of this brush because I believe the pricing of this brush wasn't that high as well, but it just the overall feel of this brush is really high quality. This brush is advertised that you can use this for blush, bronzer, and powder. But I found or for myself, maybe I'll just use this like as a all over powder brush or a bronzer brush because it's a tad bit uh it's a tad big for blush, but it's incredibly soft. And looking at it, it's very cute. At the end here, it also has this gorgeous VAR symbol.
The box that VA FR products come in as well. It's absolutely luxurious.
The blush came in this box and inside is this beautiful, beautiful royal blue. I love this blue. Um, blue is my favorite color and this shade of blue is just absolutely gorgeous. As you can see, my ring is this royal blue as well. The brush came in this box with the blue as well. It's just so beautiful. the packaging of VA FR.
For demonstration purposes, I'll be using the brush with the blush here. And let me see if I can do a little smaller area on the brush.
And because I'm using a kabuki brush, I'm just tapping it into the blush here.
Going to evenly distribute on my hand first so that it's not too heavy.
Okay.
Okay, that was relatively easy. Feels like you're almost applying with a powder puff.
Okay, that is relatively easy with this brush.
I guess is because this blush is more on the airy side. So, if you're using a more denser tool like this, the product just sits on the surface here.
So, it's harder to distribute a like a really heavy amount.
This is applying the most beautiful feathery finish on the cheeks. And I'm just tapping it on.
But this brush is really good. I'm surprised.
So that's what it looks like on the cheeks. It's just this really beautiful rosy shade, pink rose shade I would say.
The shade again is rose fume.
Going with the feathery theme, I'm grabbing the Bizu bombs from Villa FR as well. I've got two shades here. The first one is Batis and this one is Rose Latte. I'll just do a swatch on my hand here because I feel this is very fitting for the plume range. I feel these should be called plume as well because honestly on the hand that's rose latte. It just almost looks like that blush and this one is batiz.
These two shades are quite close but a bit different in terms of tone. I feel batis is more on it leans a bit warm whereas rose latte is more on the cool but overall I feel these two shades are on that neutral middle area of the color spectrum.
I'm going to use batis today because he's the newer one for me.
So, just on the lips. And this one is just super easy to apply on.
It gives you the easiest blotted lips effect with just one lipstick and swiped on.
Normally with blotting lipsticks, you need to blot it with a tissue, but this Bizu balm just gives it easily. And I'm going to give that feathery finish by blending it with the fingers.
I feel I could go with a touch more blush. So, just grabbing the Koopi brush again.
I love the V FR range because it's so hard to go overboard. It's always that really soft blended finish on first application.
And it's so easy to apply on the go as well.
And this is my finished look for today.
And I have to say, ever since I was introduced to the Fume range from VAR, these has been in my top drawer area or just on my table lie around available to use every single day because I love them. And I pulled out the Batis balms as well because I love this feathery finish. With the new addition of this blush, I'm just super excited to use this as well. I'm tempted to get another shade in the range. I'm not too sure because this one it's on the cool side.
Maybe I want to experiment something more on the kind of warmer side as well.
