Division asks how many times you can subtract the divisor from the dividend to reach zero; for 0 ÷ 0, since subtracting zero from zero any number of times still results in zero, the answer could be any number, making it indeterminate.

The reason 0 ÷ 0 is indeterminate #maths #mathtricks #quiz #shorts本站添加:
Why does zero divided by zero have an infinite number of possible [music] answers? To know that, we need to know how division works.
When we divide a number with another number, >> [music] >> we're simply asking that how many times should we subtract the second number from the first to reach zero. For example, 6 / 2, we need to subtract two three times from six to reach zero.
So, when we are dividing zero by zero, we're simply saying that how many times should we subtract zero [music] from zero to reach zero. But, if you see, we are already there. And if we do it a million times, we'll still be at zero.
And that's why it's indeterminate because the answer could be anything.
