Private security companies with seemingly legitimate residential operations may serve as cover for covert activities, particularly when they have international experience in conflict zones and connections to political figures, raising questions about their true purpose and potential involvement in sensitive operations.

NO APPARENT MOTIVE FOR HORTMAN'S ASSASSINATION UNLESSAdded:
Oh boy, this is where it's going to get really, really interesting. Vance Belter, the known assassin. Of course, he has to be convicted, but I mean, there's little left to the imagination here. We're reviewing very quickly here.
He kills Melissa and her husband, Mark.
We know that Melissa was calling out the Somalia fraud. We know Waltz had to have known about it, and we're going to look at the dots and see if they connect. You have to decide that. Cuz I don't think anyone's seriously investigating Waltz for this, but I'm wondering why not.
Because what we found in the earlier segments was that Waltz and Belter, the assassin, knew each other. He Belter was actually appointed by Waltz to be on one of his commissions. What? Yeah.
And Melissa was speaking against the Somalia fraud.
Which a lot of people, a lot of people think Waltz is connected to, and we think that his decision not to run for re-election as governor is to take the heat off, and probably a deal he made behind the scenes. At least, that's how I would look at it.
We're going to get into this. This is getting This is going to get really, really interesting as we take a look at Belter and two organizations that he and his wife belonged to and what they do. And oh boy.
It's hard to not see a conspiracy here.
As much as I don't want to believe this, I I just And like I said, Melissa deserves justice. We're going to bring it out. You decide. Let's hope we can put enough pressure on the DOJ that they'll actually do their job.
Dave Hodges here, host of the Common Sense Show.
Glad to be with you.
And we're going to talk to you briefly here about something that I think is really, really important.
And that really important thing here, we're having technical issue here, so bear with me just a second.
I I'm so glad that I can bring this opportunity to you from Vault Strategic Mining because tungsten, which hasn't been mined in 11 years in America, now the government's getting involved in it.
Well, this is a company Vault Strategic that's positioned themselves already.
They have a $12 billion stockpile. In addition, they have a 10,000-ft drilling already done at the Wheeler site.
>> [snorts] >> And this is what the government needs to keep their war efforts going. And you know, first it's going to be Iran, and next it's going to be Cuba, and and before that it was Venezuela.
Well, tungsten's included in all this stuff, in bullets, bombs, artillery shells.
It's a great investment. Check it out.

Okay, let's take a look at uh the uh situation involving Vance Belson and stuff he belongs to. This is absolutely amazing.
Why would he go and kill Melissa?
Why?
It's interesting, isn't it? What's the motive? There hasn't been a motive established.
Uh and the best motive I've heard is the one that's mildly implied here.
Okay, uh first of all, he and his wife own something called Praetorian Guard Security Services. Boy, is this an interesting name.
Do you know what the Praetorian Guard is? It's from Roman history. They killed Julius Caesar.
There were the emperors and then there was the power behind the emperors that would install and in place people in power. Sounds kind of like our deep state, doesn't it? Correct?
Praetorian Guard Services.
And then look at what Beltrame's connected to.
It's hard not to mention the connection here, people.
Now, this organization's co-owned with he and his wife, Jenny Beltrame.
Uh Jenny's listed as the president CEO and Vance is the director of security patrols.
It's a Minnesota-based private armed security company serving the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area. On the surface, there just seems like any other security service. You know, you get a rent-a-cop, drives around in a car, pretends to be doing something, smokes cigarettes, drinks some beer, goes home, gets paid.
That's what it looks like on the surface, but it's not.
Um the company advertises for armed security guards in residential areas.
Okay, now this gets really interesting.
Vance Beltrame described himself on the site, the site for this organization, of having extensive international experience in high-risk areas, including the Middle East, West Bank, Southern Lebanon, Gaza Strip, Eastern Europe, Isn't that where Ukraine is? Okay.
And Africa.
What? Does that sound like a residential security patrol to you?
It doesn't to me. How does a Minneapolis-based security firm that guards homes end up in Eastern Europe or the West Bank? Mhm?
There's [snorts] three little letters that come to mind here.
And maybe I'm biased in this area cuz I grew up in an intelligence family, but C I and I got a lot of A's in college.
Mhm?
Vance and Jenny are also connected to another venture called Red Lion or Red Lion Group. And they're also described as a security company and a fishing outfit in the Congo. What?
How do those two go together?
That's like putting ketchup on your pancakes. I mean, this makes no sense unless one is a cover for the other. And again, we're back to C I and I got a lot of A's in college.
Jenny reportedly told investigators that Vance had a business partner in Washington state involved in this operation. Okay, that doesn't make a lot of sense to me cuz it doesn't go anywhere, but here's what we know.
Vance is on the run.
Okay, after he did his deed.
Jenny is pulled over by the authorities.
And reportedly in the media she had passports for the entire family and guns.
What?
But she's released.
Shouldn't she be held for questioning?
Look, you got his passport here.
You need to explain this connection.
We're going to go in and we're going to sit down in one of our rooms and have a discussion. And we're going to put the spotlight on you, Jenny.
But she's released on scene.
And Minnesota has some of the strictest gun laws in the country.
That makes that even more bizarre.
Of course, someone could have pulled rank.
You know, who can C and I and get a lot of A's in college.
And she gets released.
Sorry, this is where my I was raised in this environment mind goes.
Okay?
There's more.
The company gained significant attention in June of 2025 with the shootings because of Vance uh because the tactics and equipment used with private security impersonating police, body armor, etc. was in play here.
Some reports described the Praetorian Guard as a relatively small or even having limited verifiable clients, raising questions about how active or legitimate the operation was.
That's the wrong take on this. This is a news item I was reading from.
Hey, do you know what the right take is?
The security business is a cover.
Because I can see I can get a lot of A's in college.
You tell me.
There's a lot of smoke to this fire. Do you not agree?
And the fact that federal authorities haven't cracked this case wide open means there's something preventing them from doing that. It kind of reminds me of Joe Kent, Tulsi Gabbard, the Charlie Kirk assassination, and gee, we can't look at foreign files about a specific nation.
Cover-up. Well, that's what this looks like to looked like to me. What kind of hit was done to Melissa Horton?
And there's no motive for Vance Belter to have done this that makes any sense. But there's a lot of motive to shut her up when she's talking about multi-billion dollar fraud in an open chamber in the Minnesota state legislature.
I'm just following the facts, people.
You can help me connect the dots.
But the fact that there hasn't been progress made in this investigation other than arresting the perpetrator, the sole perpetrator, and not taking this further tells me that the taking it further would expose sacred cows.
There's more to come. We've got another installment here that I think you're going to find really, really interesting.
I'm Dave Hodges. This is the Common Sense Show.
