During a highly anticipated IPO like SpaceX, market volatility is expected due to speculative trading, with the stock potentially experiencing initial price surges followed by corrections as investors take profits; the valuation of such companies often reflects future growth expectations rather than current earnings, as demonstrated by SpaceX's $1.77 trillion market cap despite producing only billions in revenue, and investors should exercise caution by avoiding leverage and margin trading during speculative market events.

LIVE NOW: SPACEX IPO TRADING
Added:Hey, what's going on guys? It's Ricky with TechBud Solutions. Hope that you guys are all having an amazing Friday and um not remember uh welcome to SpaceX IPO day. Uh going to go ahead and start sharing my screen so you can see exactly what it is that we're looking at.
Surprise, surprise. It's one hour after the markets open. Um, and SpaceX still has not IPOed, not yet at least. Uh, NASDAQ market is, again, I want to talk about where the market is currently at, and then we'll see kind of where it ends, right?
There's a lot of hype with SpaceX IPO.
Maybe money will pour into the market.
Maybe it will take NASDAQ back to the green and push it up two, three, 4%. Who knows, right?
Tesla's down 1 4%. A lot of people are asking, "Hey, I probably can't buy SpaceX because it's going to be so hyped up, but maybe we could buy Tesla and Tesla can trade as a proxy of SpaceX."
Um, just so you guys could see here, SPCX still isn't trading right now. It's 4:45 a.m. here in Arizona. Not in Arizona, in Hawaii.
Um, at least I got to sleep in for another hour. Uh, everyone in our uh chat was just trying to tag me and message me and they were trying to be like, "Hey everyone, call Ricky on Instagram. You guys think I have Instagram notifications on? Come on now." Um, with that being said, I'm happy to be here.
I'm not going to be here all day. I'm still in Hawaii. Um, it's one of my last few days here. So, I really hope that in the next 30 minutes it ends up going live. 30 minutes to maybe an hour. Um, and we can watch it together. I I would love that. Um, and see where it goes from there. Right.
Actually, I need to pull up um, let's see.
I need to make sure that we're all good here. throwing this at low.
Okay, sweet.
All right.
Dang, NASDAQ market is dumping.
One thing that of course a lot of people including myself are not really taking into consideration is that what if people just begin to take profits, right? SpaceX IPOs, it pumps, it dumps, and then it just leads to a huge sell-off. Very unlikely, right? I would say that the reason I'm even saying this is I read it on a thread right now uh talking about bullcase and barecase. Um, obviously it's incredibly, you know, heavily anticipated when it comes down to this IPO. It would just be very interesting to see how markets react with all of this, right? Is there insane amounts of volatility that is it going to get halted all the time? Right?
Every every minute that it comes back on, it gets halted right away because of how much buying pressure there is. We'll see, right? That's the one thing that I really want to um pay close attention to.
So, I'm going to post it also in our close friends on Instagram. Here we go.
All right.
Some people are setting up specific price targets.
And again, just so you guys could see, SpaceX IPO as of right now, still not live, right? Still not in full effect.
We got NASDAQ market nosediving as of right now.
Let's see.
Okay.
Here it goes.
[snorts] NASDAQ market testing support down here.
We got MSTR up 3.5%.
Really nice rally.
Oracle down two, Palanteer down two.
Huh? Actually quite a bit of these in the green. What about the semiconductor stocks?
Tesla's down 1.6. That's the one that I find to be the most interesting.
Do we want to buy the dip on Tesla? Wow.
Marvel's down 4.4.
Dell's in the green 2% overbought reversal. uh on the technical side, but of course if markets begin to rocket, so will Dell.
Micron down 1.4. Wow. Money being pulled out of Micron and all these more speculative semiconductor companies.
Whoa.
Rocket Lab down 9%.
Doesn't like the new competition.
Money being pulled out. Getting ready for the IPO. We'll see.
All right, checking back. SpaceX IPO still not in effect.
Check out Hood.
Yeah, I I feel like a lot of people are hyping up Hood that it's going to boost up the trading activity.
I don't know how Robin Hood would compete with any of the others in the sense of if it's good for Robin Hood, it's good for all the other brokerages as well. I just don't see how it's any different for Robin Hood. Maybe that's just me, especially knowing that it's retail traders. Um, sure. I'm sure it brings some some new users, but with that being said, you're not competing with Charles Schwab in any way. Right there it goes. NASDAQ still nose diving.
All right, we got one share. Nice.
Ricky short Tesla triple dog dare you.
Hell no. [laughter] Oh, Microsoft is having a really bad time.
Microsoft has been having a really bad time. There's nothing new there.
There we go. NASDAQ market beginning to pump.
Let's see it.
[snorts] Big big pump.
MSTR up 4.5%.
Another leg up.
Still not seeing any movement on SpaceX.
Again, we're still waiting for SpaceX.
NASDAQ is officially back in the green.
Is it going to happen in the next seven minutes? Let's see. I do want to remind you again the way traditionally speaking a lot of IPOs pop and then dump flatten out and then recover. We'll see if the same setup happens for SpaceX today.
Just a little reminder to our beginners.
Don't use leverage. Don't use margin.
Don't use money you don't actually have with a speculative asset. Okay, close QQQ long. Nice. 7-Eleven to 720.
Really nice push.
Okay, look at this. NASDAQ going back up to retest.
Nice drawing, Ricky. Um, I didn't make it, but thanks.
You think money rotates back into the smaller space companies after the launch?
I think even Rocket Lab is super speculative, but again, feel free to invest in any of these if your heart desires.
There's a lot of hype with all of it going on right now. Here it goes.
There's a lot of buying pressure. NASDAQ is already up half of a percent. It's trading incredibly volatile right now.
Did something else get factored in or what's going on here?
That was a huge recovery.
MSTR back at 5% 127.
We got Robin Hood up 2 and a.5%.
Intel up 5.2.
Huge push.
Where's Tesla at?
Feel like we need to have Tesla up here because I want to see if it trades as a proxy to SpaceX. All right, we got 4 minutes left until 5:00, which is what, an hour and a half after markets opened.
Let's see. NASDAQ still trying to pump.
Is it an Iran update?
All right, 3 minutes left until 5 a.m.
HST, which should be 11:00 a.m. EST, right?
What do you guys think? Do you guys think that in 3 minutes we're going to get the SpaceX IPO?
>> [snorts] [laughter] >> It's kind of pump and dump.
No data on SpaceX.
Yeah, nothing yet.
Tesla is only down half of a percent now. So, it looks like it is moving pretty well with the NASDAQ market. It would be a very ideal time. Super convenient, right? And we know that Trump's all about convenience.
NASDAQ market pushed up from red to green in just five minutes.
Now we're a minute and a half. This would be an ideal time to IPO.
Let's see. We're going to break out and make new highs.
1 minute left. Again, if it's not too much to ask, hopefully you can consider subscribing to the channel if you feel like we earned it. And don't forget to drop a thumbs up.
There was speculation that SpaceX wouldn't be open until 12:00 p.m.
Eastern time. Again, it doesn't have an exact date, right?
Here we go. 10 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 [sighs] What do you guys think? It's going to open at 170, 175, 200.
What's the verdict?
Still propping up higher.
$1.77 trillion market cap.
Are you looking to short Ricky or keep away? No, I'm not going to short that thing.
[laughter] I think they hit 174 before they before their first earnings able to sell up to 10 another 10%.
How is it possible to accurately value SpaceX?
I mean define accurately, right?
Are you going based off of its current earnings, what it's expected to produce?
So, um and and truly like what is accurate?
Isn't Isn't someone to to some degree isn't the stock's value at least for today if it comes down to trading what someone is willing to pay, right?
So, who knows, right? Even at 135, it's a $1.77 trillion market cap for a company that produces a few billion dollars in revenue.
Um, I think still still conducts business at a loss but expected to be profitable right so think its market cap is bigger than Walmart now market cap for Walmart 956 billion just two very different companies right also you have think about Tesla.
Tesla trades um at a crazy valuation versus what it produces, right?
Also, Walmart produces 725 billion in revenue, $23 billion in net income. Walmart makes a ton of money yet its valuation is less than a trillion.
But then we have Tesla.
Tesla, one of the max seven companies, 386 times its earnings, produces $97 billion in revenue, only $3.9 billion in net income, and it's going down. If you look at the actual Pro Research, you can see that revenue is actually not increasing. It's been flat for the past two to three years.
So why is Tesla trading or was it trading nearly at alltime highs?
Speculation, guidance, Elon Musk, all things that could factor into SpaceX IPO, right? Elon is considered one of the greatest minds of our generation.
And if it weren't for him, no, I don't think that Tesla or SpaceX would be trading at these valuations, but they are. And he is him.
Okay.
Do you think that Bill Gates is shorting it? No.
SpaceX IPO marked the top of the market.
Okay.
Tesla Elon Musk will change Tesla to Tesla AI to get a boost.
That's funny.
What is the time of the listing of the IPO? Remember, it's a range of time. It could have been live already.
It's normally between 10:00 a.m. Eastern time to 300 p.m. Eastern time. So now we could assume that it could possibly be an hour from now.
What do you guys think?
I I don't want to, you know, just keep you here watching paint dry. We're all waiting for the same thing.
Should we come back in about an hour?
Obviously a little bit before an hour.
NASDAQ market.
Nice pump.
I stay in the green.
Yeah. Okay.
Around 12:00 p.m. Yeah.
Trump needs to make a call. That's hilarious.
You read somewhere it's going to be 11:00 a.m. Eastern time somewhere.
Don't do that.
CNBC is saying SpaceX will open at 165.
I'd actually be surprised. That's not that much higher than its current trade price. With how much hype there is and people, you know, selling everything to prep for this IPO, it could possibly pump higher. And you guys know that I'm not big on speculative stocks, right? I don't necessarily even care to buy it myself. Um, I would be surprised if it does trade below 165. There's just so much hype behind it. So, did you take a position? No.
Who's here in Hawaii as well? I know.
All right.
I hope I get a ton.
all the hype. I would assume that we're going to pump today. Yeah, I feel like that's a pretty fair assumption. The big thing is is also paying close attention to seeing how Tesla begins to trade.
Tesla and Rocket Lab. Rocket Lab looks like it's doing terrible, or at least it was. It was down nearly 10% as we got closer to the IPO. I want to see if this thing begins to rally, if SpaceX begins to rally or if it begins to drop. So, I want to pay close attention to Rocket Lab because again, it's another space company. I want to pay close attention to Tesla. I want to pay close attention to NASDAQ. And then, of course, the IPO itself, SPCX.
So, I'll do my part in trying to come back. Um, again, I just don't want to waste your guys' time and just watch and wait for nothing to actually happen um for a whole another hour. So, um what software was that? Again, this software is called Investing Pro. If you guys want to check it out, it's the first link in the description down below. It's just to be able to understand the companies that you're investing and trading a little bit better fundamentally.
It breaks down to less than $10 a month if you want to explore it. Again, first link in the description down below. So, NASDAQ market is up 62%. It's currently 508 a.m. here in Hawaii.
And um as of right now, SpaceX IPO still has not been listed. Tesla is down 0.55% in the red. Um, so we'll see. We'll see how markets continue to develop. Okay, so I appreciate you guys' time. Um, hopefully we earn your thumbs up. Don't forget to subscribe and turn on your post notifications. So, in the next few minutes, as we get closer to 6:00 a.m.
or what is it? Uh, 12 p.m.
Eastern time. um we can go live and you'll get notified, but you have to be subscribed to the channel. So again, everything is linked in the description down below. Feel free to check it out if you want to stay connected. I appreciate you guys' time. Like always, let's make sure that we end the year on a green note. Take care, team.
