I Just Bought A 2,000$ Ball Python + INSANE Clown Clutch!Added:
Typically, something like this girl that we got goes for about 2,000 to 2,500 dollars.
>> [music] >> Ooh, ooh, she is looking good, man.
>> [music] >> I like what I see.
What's up, everybody? It's your boy Mike from Balls of Fury. Welcome back to the channel. I am super stoked about today's episode. First, we've got to collect a clutch of ball python eggs. This is our sixth clutch of the 2026 season. And this clutch has the potential to create some amazing clown combos that could also be double het for desert ghost and hypo. So, we're going to check out the pairing. We'll check mom, pull the eggs, and see how many she gave us. And then, after we finish up with that, we're going to show you guys a brand new snake that we just picked up. This snake brings a new incomplete dominant gene into the collection that we don't have yet. And I am super excited for the opportunity to start working with this gene. So, what do you guys say we dive in and get started with today's episode?
Here is the incredible dad of the clutch, our boy Megatron, the black head leopard black pastel clown that is double het for DG and hypo. And let me tell you what, guys, the incomplete dominant genes that Megatron has in this pairing are going to work really well with the genetics of mom once you guys see what she is. I love all the darkening genes that Megatron brings to the table. And man, let me tell you what, with the gene that mom has, they are going to interact so well and make for some insane clown combos. And here is the beautiful mother of the clutch, our girl Jordan, the banana clown. And man, I'm telling you, these eggs could be holding some insane clown combos in them. The other cool thing about this clutch is that some of these clown combos could be double het for desert ghost and hypo. Man, I can't wait to see how many she laid. Let's see if mama is all wrapped up. When I checked on her a little bit earlier, she only had a few out, so I gave her a couple of hours to finish up.
And it looks like she is wrapped around a decent size pile of eggs, guys. Look at our girl Jordan. Now, this is her second time producing for us, and she did a fantastic job the first time. She gave us eight beautiful healthy eggs, and we got some healthy babies from her, but looks like she is a little bit anxious, so I'm going to push this back, and we'll get ready to collect these eggs and see how many this girl gave us. It's time to see how many eggs mama gave us. She's doing a really good job. She's wrapped around her eggs. You can come on in and get closer to her, and you can go ahead and get right in there. Let's go ahead and check how many this girl laid. She's usually a pretty calm girl, but she does not want to give up those eggs easily.
All right, so we got mom. Let's just make sure she doesn't have any eggs left inside of her.
Looks like she is cleared out. She did a fantastic job. I'm just going to put her to the side in the spin here. We're going to get her all washed up, get that egg scent off of her body, and then come on over. Let's get a count of these eggs. So, it looks like she gave us one infertile egg. This is a slug right here, so this is no bueno, but it looks like we've got some good eggs here. We've got two, [snorts] four, six, seven beautiful eggs.
Looking awesome. So, that is going to wrap it up for the egg collecting right now. She actually laid the same amount of eggs that she did the first go around, except this time one of them was a slug. So, seven beautiful eggs, seven shots to hit some amazing clown combos, and we'll see what awesome snakes hatch out of this clutch in about 60 days.
We've got our egg box set up. The eggs are all in position for incubation.
We're just going to go ahead and candle them really quick. Make sure everything is looking good.
This one's looking fantastic.
Now, I really want to do this at night time, guys, but been doing this for a really long time, so we uh have a pretty good idea of what to do. All right, this one is facing in the correct direction now.
Perfect.
Looking good.
Go ahead and do this little tiny small egg here.
Looking perfect. This one is in the correct position as well.
Same with this one. Looking outstanding.
This egg is looking beautiful as well.
Nice network of veins here. Everything is looking good.
And we got this last one here.
This one is also looking really good.
Awesome, guys. Seven fertile eggs from this girl. Can't wait to see what awesome clown combos we hit in this pairing. There's so many genetics involved. Really hoping for some cool banana clown combos, and we'll see in 60 days.
I'm so excited about that clutch, guys.
Seven healthy, beautiful eggs from mom, and I couldn't be more grateful. I'll take seven beautiful eggs any day of the week, and I'm really, really excited to see what's going to hatch from this clutch. I love banana clown combos. Feel like banana and clown were really meant for each other and they make for some of the most beautiful ball pythons in the game. And hopefully we'll get great odds and hit one or two that are het for DG and hypo because I really think guys that banana in the DG hypo clown project with the right incomplete dominant genes in the mix could potentially make for a super pink colored snake. So that's kind of my goal moving forward with this. I know a lot of people aren't really working banana into the hypo DG clown stuff. So I think it's going to be cool.
I think it could lead to some really incredible stuff and I can't wait to see where this project goes. Now that we've got that taken care of, let's take a look at the brand new snake that we got.
I'm really really looking forward to showing her to you guys. So what do you say we dive into that? We've got the bag, we've got the snake and I can't wait to show her to you guys. First off, I want to give a big shout out to my guy Tyler from [snorts] Painted Scales Reptiles. Thank you for hooking us up with this amazing snake. We actually won this snake on an auction guys, so we really came up on a great deal.
Typically something like this girl that we got goes for about 2,000 to 2,500 dollars and for the price that we paid for her, I'm really really excited about the opportunity to work with this animal. Let's go ahead and get her out of the bag. I can't wait much longer guys.
Hopefully she won't be too shy and let me show her off to you guys.
Oh, she is looking good man.
I like what I see.
Let's go ahead and get her out of here.
All right.
So check this beautiful animal out you guys. This right here is an NR Mandarin hypo ball python and this is our girl Cutie. We've decided to name her Cutie. And NR Mandarin is an awesome incomplete dominant gene that we don't yet have in the collection. It brings out mandarin orange colors like its name describes. And it is just an incredible gene. I'm really excited that we got it in a visual hypo version two guys cuz that is going to speed up our project so much more. And if you guys haven't seen super NR Mandarin combos before, you definitely got to go to check some of them out because they are absolutely mind-blowing. So, I'm definitely excited for the opportunity to work with NR Mandarin. Hopefully make some super NR Mandarin combos in the future. And there's so many other incomplete dominant genes and recessive genes that I think NR Mandarin is going to interact really well with. So, I'm definitely stoked to have this girl. I'm stoked to watch her grow up and see how she colors up with some age. What do you say we get our girl Cutie under some better lighting, on a better background, and take a closer look at all the details in this beautiful snake? Guys, I am so obsessed with our girl Cutie.
Every time I pull her out, I find myself staring at her for way longer than I should.
Just look at the color on this animal.
She's got this rich golden orange tone that almost glows. And it's paired with these deep dark borders that create so much contrast throughout her entire body.
What I really love about this combo is how clean everything looks.
The pattern is super crisp and defined, but at the same time it has this soft melted appearance that makes her look completely different from your average ball python.
The bright yellows and oranges seem to flow right into one another while the darker outlines frame every alien head perfectly.
As she ages, I expect those oranges to get even richer and more intense, which is one of the things that makes this project so exciting.
She already has an incredible amount of brightness for such a young snake, and the contrast between those warm colors and the dark patterning is just unreal.
This is one of those animals that looks amazing in pictures, but in person, she's honestly on a completely different level.
That's going to wrap it up for today's episode, guys. I am super stoked about our brand new addition to the collection. Cutie is such an amazing animal. I'm really stoked to have the opportunity to work with NR Mandarin, especially in our Hypo project, because these two genes were definitely meant for each other, guys. Also, I'm really stoked about that clutch that we collected today. Let me know in the comments what you guys want to see hatch out of that clutch. I really want to see some awesome banana clown combos that are het for DG and Hypo. Fingers crossed that we hit some, guys. I'm really looking forward to it. Also, while you're over there, make sure you smash that like button if you enjoyed today's episode. Make sure you also smash the subscribe button and the notification bell. Hatchling season is almost upon us, guys. We've got some really cool clutches in the incubator, so you definitely don't want to miss all the amazing combinations that we're going to be hatching this season. So, make sure you're staying up to date with it. Make sure that notification bell is on, and make sure you're subscribed to our channel. Big shout out again to Tyler from Painted Scales Reptiles. Really appreciate the opportunity, and thank you so much for hooking us up with our amazing girl, Cutie.
Also, big shout out to the recessive gang, as always. My guys, Darius, AJ, and Dre. Keep doing your thing, you guys. Keep killing it. I hope everyone has a great day or evening, wherever you might be watching from. I'll catch you guys in the next episode. Peace.
