Family members, particularly parents and siblings, can significantly influence children's body image and decisions about cosmetic procedures, as demonstrated by Khloé Kardashian's admission that overhearing her mother Kris Jenner discuss needing a nose job at age 9 contributed to her own decision to get one years later, illustrating how comments from trusted family members can create lasting insecurities that shape self-perception and appearance choices.

Kris Jenner FORCED Her Daughter To Get A Nose Job
Added:Did Kris Jenner force her own daughter to get a nose job? That would be insane, but not shocking. So, let's get into it.
The Kardashian-Jenner family has built an empire on beauty, but behind the perfectly polished selfies and billion-dollar brands, there have always been conversations about insecurity, pressure, and changing your appearance.
And now fans are looking back at some of the moments where the family members have admitted that their biggest insecurities did not come out of nowhere, including Khloe Kardashian revealing that her own mother, Kris Jenner, may have played a major role in making her feel [music] insecure about her nose. Khloe has been very open about struggling with the way people viewed her, especially compared to her sisters, Kim and Kourtney. We all know people don't think she's a real Kardashian, maybe a Simpson, who knows. But during an episode of The Kardashians, Khloe revealed something that shocked fans.
She said she wondered if she ever would have [music] even thought about getting a nose job if she had not heard Kris Jenner, her mother, talking about her nose when she was younger. Why was she talking about her nose, though? That's another question. Khloe explained that when she was around 9 years old, she overheard her mom telling someone that she needed a nose job. Imagine being a child and hearing a comment like that from someone whose opinion matters the most to you. Something you never even thought was a problem suddenly becomes something you start focusing on. Khloe eventually did get a nose job years later and admitted that she was happy with the results. She's got a great nose, it looks great. But the conversation opened up a bigger debate about the pressure inside the Kardashian-Jenner family to look a certain way. Because this is a family where beauty is basically part of the business model, right? And when your entire career is built around appearance, it raises the question [music] of how much pressure these women have felt behind the scenes. And Khloe was not the only Kardashian-Jenner sister who, you know, has talked about insecurities. [music] Kylie Jenner has also admitted that she struggled with feeling insecure about her appearance from a very young age. And before Kylie became the billionaire beauty mogul with a makeup empire, she was just a teenager trying to fit in in Hollywood. One insecurity she has talked about was her ears. Weird, I know, but Kylie revealed that her sisters Khloe and Kourtney would tease her about her ears when they were young and compare them to a character with big ears. So, I'm going to go with Dumbo on this one. Now, for most people, siblings teasing each other is normal, but when you grow up constantly surrounded by cameras and millions of people judging your appearance, those little comments can stick with you [music] forever. And Kylie has admitted that she used to hide her ears by wearing her hair down because she was embarrassed. Remember those early Keeping Up episodes? She always had her hair like covering her ears. Yeah, so it is pretty wild looking back because Kylie went from being insecure about the exact things her family joked about to becoming literally one of the biggest beauty influencers [music] in the entire world. But, then there is the other side of this family dynamic. The moments where criticism did not just come from inside the family, but from the people closest to them, including Scott Disick [music] and his very controversial comments towards Kourtney Kardashian. During their relationship, fans saw plenty of moments where Scott made comments about Kourtney's appearance and her body. One of the biggest criticisms was that he would make comments about her weight even during vulnerable moments in her life, including [music] after having children. Wild, I know. At the time, some viewers brushed it off [music] because Scott was known as like the funny sarcastic guy on the show. But, looking back now in a 2026 lens, many fans question whether those jokes were actually jokes or whether they were comments that could hurt someone who was already under constant [music] public pressure and probably having like, you know, postpartum, right? The interesting thing though about the Kardashian-Jenner family is that they have made billions by selling confidence, even [music] if it's fake.
But, behind the glam, makeup and designer clothes, there have been years of conversations about insecurity, criticism, and just feeling like they were not enough. And maybe the biggest irony is that the women who are constantly criticized for changing their looks are also some of the women who have been the most honest about why they felt the need to change in the first place. Because when the entire world has an opinion about your face, your body, and your appearance, sometimes the hardest voice to ignore [music] is the one coming from the people closest to you. And in the Kardashian-Jenner family, the pressure to be perfect has clearly been there from the very beginning. Let me know your thoughts on this. I'm your host Ashley. I'll see you later.
