This guide brilliantly rebrands mindfulness as a technical system upgrade, making the abstract process of rewiring the mind feel both logical and actionable. It is a precise, mechanical blueprint for anyone looking to debug their internal narrative.

MEDITATION: How STILLNESS REWIRES the MIND (Mechanical Guide)Añadido:
Hi, Joshua with Southpaw. In today's video, I want to start off by saying that I jumped into using artificial intelligence and the different ways that we can use it to diagnose our thoughts and look for patterns in the information and alternate ways of viewing our mind's program.
When I say program, I mean just that. It's a program of information that is that turns on in the morning and it starts telling us this narrative about our life.
And one of the main things that I have been pointing to in my videos is the fact that the inner narrator controls our focus. Almost almost always it's controlling our focus.
We're We're creating science estimates like 5 to 10% of our thoughts, which is really not very much.
Our inner narrator, our subconscious mind, is the one doing all the talking.
It's really confusing to see that.
And to me, that understanding when you understand that your inner narrator is the one doing all the talking, your perspective of what it's saying shifts.
We start to see that the thoughts we think are us is actually uh a radio station that's being broadcast into our mind.
And when we start to understand how that mirroring loop of the mind works, I've made videos on my page. Um I'll try to remember to put one in the description of this video so you can find that informa- Actually, there's a video on my Just look up to my most popular video.
Um and that one What is it called? Uh Oh, how I learned how I learned to program myself like a god or something like that. I got that title from Grok.
I've noticed that Grok is a little more edgy than some of the other AIs, but I know when I say that about AI that it causes a lot of like people are like, "Whoa, what do you mean using AI?"
>> [sighs and gasps] >> And I know the subject is it's new to us all. We're trying to understand what it means.
One thing I know for sure is it's not going away.
So, a way you can look at AI is using a calculator to add numbers or divide numbers versus using stones.
I mean like there's a calculator available to calculate all the stones and not using the calculator to me is like using stones instead. You're like, "No, no, I'm not going to use that that new calculator.
I'm going to use these stones."
And I'm not trying to be condescending.
I'm just trying to create a metaphor that would kind of like make sense of of what AI could potentially do.
So, starting the video off, I wanted to clarify that. The video itself today is is about meditation and a different way of seeing why meditation is valuable. For me, all of this stuff comes down to us being able to visualize why we would want to use these techniques.
When we can create a visualization that makes sense to us, that's when it actually taps into the inner narrator and starts to make a difference.
So, in the things that I've been pointing to in my videos, I'm always saying that our subconscious mind reflects what we focus on.
And when I say reflects, it's the one that's creating almost all of our thoughts.
So, we show our subconscious mind an idea, an experience, it records that experience and then reflects its observation of what we're observing back into our mind.
So, we have to realize that our focus is the instrument that patterns and organizes the subconscious mind.
But the great Catch-22, the great riddle of the mind, is the fact that it's creating almost all of your thoughts and controlling your focus.
If we just go along and do what it says, we stay wrapped into those patterns of the past and we recreate we reprint those.
So, it's telling us to focus on the thing it's telling us to focus on. We focus on that thing and rewire it back into the loop. And [snorts] if you're unaware that you're in this feedback loop with yourself, we essentially unconsciously rewire those painful patterns back into our mind.
>> [snorts] >> So, think of meditation being a way for you to rewire the atmosphere of your thoughts. Basically, you observe stillness and quiet in meditation and in the observation of stillness and quiet, you're essentially inserting stillness and quiet into your neural network.
What happens there What What that basically means is that you're instead of adding more noise to the story, you're inserting quiet. In that space of quiet, you have more time to focus on the thing you're currently thinking about. If your mind is becoming more and more full from observing doom scrolling, from all of the interactions that we have in the world, if we're constantly adding more noise to the program, it makes it more cluttered and more difficult to create focus within that, you know, within the story. So, the more that we can observe stillness, we're essentially uh defragmenting our hard drive. We're deliberately inserting quiet.
And in that space of silence, we have more time to formulate our our answers when we're in a conversation. In that space of stillness, we have more bandwidth to smell a flower, observe uh you know, kids playing in the park. We have We have more bandwidth to be present with our loved ones.
We have more focus and attention to experience the love from our pets.
Our [snorts] mind is more focused on the moments because there's less distractions in there.
So, what I want to invite you to think about is every time that you choose to focus on stillness, you choose to focus on love, you choose to override your inner narrator and deliberately hold your attention on things that inspire you and encourage you and bring your your life more joy.
And when you do that with the people around you, so you become more centered, you become more present because your mind is less distracted by its inner noise, and you do that by practicing meditation, by being calm and present as much as you and family see that. They experience you being that way, and then they reflect that back to you, which then builds your inner stability and structure through the experiences you're having with all the people around you, through the experiences you're having with yourself. You essentially observe things that make you feel good, and the more that you observe those things, the more that your inner narrator reflects them back to you.
Once you reach that threshold, where you have observed love and kindness long enough, it can happen really quick. But once you reach that threshold, then your mind's narrator, when you wake up in the morning, your mind's narrator, it's been rewired. Now it's telling you a story that makes you feel good automatically.
You don't have to do anything to create your thoughts. If you can tap into that program and rewire it, then you don't have to do anything other than experience those peaceful thoughts and keep adding more peace and love and joy to them, and you essentially take control of the inner narrator. Once you've taken control of the inner narrator, instead of it controlling you the inner narrator controls our focus constantly.
We're not going to be able to get past that. So, what we have to do is tap into the program.
That's why I'm always talking about on my channel the projector is the program that it's it's projecting a story into your mind.
So, when we tap into the actual like the mechanics of how that projector works using our focus, using the emotions we're attaching to what we focus on, we can we can rewire that entire thing.
The last thing I want to say on my is moving forward, there's going to be a combination of videos where I use artificial intelligence to help me write my scripts. When I make videos like that I I I had said this in a comment or I posted it in a comment in one of my last videos that when I prepare a video like that, it requires me to do a bunch of writing beforehand. I run the information back and forth with artificial intelligence to fine-tune the signal.
Those videos are created using a teleprompter.
And for me, I feel that they are a a good service to my viewer because I'm consolidating and creating focus around what I'm saying.
And so, for me, it's not as fun to write the whole script out in advance.
But, I feel like it's a a good service that I'm giving to my viewer >> [snorts] >> because I'm creating focus and giving you that message as quickly and cleanly as possible.
So, some of my videos will be shot that way.
I'm not I'm being transparent about how this process works and I'm and I'm curious about your thoughts on that.
Um because I I feel like some people like those videos and then other people like videos like this where I'm just speaking you know freestyling it or whatever. I I feel like both of them are useful.
That's the way I'm going to uh move forward with my videos.
I feel like I wanted to say that and be transparent about that because I I'm just using the tools that I have available. I'm going to use the calculator when [snorts] I can to help me calculate my messages.
I Anyways, I'm just saying that to let you know that some videos will be created using pre-written scripts that actually take quite a bit of time for me to go into and write in advance, go back and forth with artificial intelligence to fine-tune the information. So, I don't know. It just Those those kind of videos aren't as much fun as just doing this. It's Sunday morning. I just was like, "I'm going to make a video about meditation." I went down to the park and here I am.
And so, for me, that's really really fun. I don't really have to do much editing.
Like this video doesn't need any editing except for maybe check the volume levels and then I'll be able to post it. Um So, anyways, yeah. That's just a little rant about how the videos will be made.
>> [laughter] >> Let me know your thoughts on any of this informa Yeah, any comments that you can leave I feel like the comment section of my videos is a place that I want to place a lot of focus and attention.
There are certain comments that I haven't replied to yet. Some of them I hearted.
Um And and still want to give feedback. So, I'm going to I'm going to do my best to get to all the comments and I feel like yeah, like the comment section is a place that we can learn more from everybody else's interpretation of this information.
So, when you leave a comment it's helping everyone else that's observing the information in these videos and coming to conclusions that they come to. So, when you leave a comment, I'm able to uh reply to you and hopefully help anybody else that is thinking about the same things. So, I encourage you to leave a comment.
It's all I've got for this video and I'll see you in the next one.
