Southern Indiana man arrested on drug charges after dancing in street with rare turtle

[00:00:00]A southern Indiana man is behind bars after police say he was found dancing in the road holding a rare turtle and carrying meth. Indiana conservation officers arrested the man in Harrison County. He was reportedly holding this Eastern box turtle which is illegal.

[00:00:17]According to the Department of Natural Resources, the turtles are long-lived, slow to mature, have few offspring per year and cannot be collected from the wild. Officers say they found meth on that man as well. The turtle was not harmed and was later returned to its natural habitat.
