The video captures the sharp contrast between the superintendent’s luxury and the staff’s decay, revealing the hidden social hierarchy of early medical history. It successfully turns a simple ruin tour into a meaningful look at historical inequality.

Exploring The Sanitorium Part 2追加:
Last week at the end of the video, I asked y'all why you thought DK was running out of the tunnel so fast.
Y'all had a lot of interesting answers, but no one correctly guessed.
Yes, we saw snakes and she was taking photos and videos of them, so that's not the reason.
It was dark in some places and I'm pretty sure there were spiders in there, but we didn't see any.
We didn't see any bats.
We didn't see or hear any ghosts.
The real reason was she was taking video of the snakes when she realized I was gone.
She had already said at the beginning of going down the steps that she wouldn't leave the bottom step if I wasn't there.
I'm going to get down there. I mean, I'm going to go down there. You going down?
I'm going down, but not there.
I just I wouldn't make it past the bottom of the steps without you. Past the bottom of it.
Next, we went into the superintendent's house.
This house was built in 1922 and it was the home of the main doctor for the sanatorium.
This house is being fully restored and you will be able to rent a room for accommodations for it very soon.
The superintendent's house even had a swimming pool.
Hopefully, that will be restored, also.
These two buildings are called the doctors bungalows.
They were also built in 1922.
They housed doctors who worked at the facility.
They are in bad shape and they asked that you use caution when touring them.
We had to sign paperwork that they are not responsible for injuries on the property.
You can tour and go anywhere you want, but enter at your own risk.
From there, we went into the laundry room.
Clothes were everywhere.
And then next door was the steam room.
The water tower still stands tall.
It was built in the 1930s.
To the east of the water tower contains a possible potter's field, but we didn't go looking for that.
>> [music] [singing] [music] [singing] [music] [music and singing] >> Getting old don't [singing and music] bother me.
Cuz with eyes that's been through life, it's so much easier to see who I am and who I want to be.
No, getting old don't [music and singing] bother me.
Truth can be a bitter pill, but it'll do [music and singing] you right and set you free the way a lie never will. Like coming up
