The 2026 Ford F-150 Whipple Supercharged Lobo is a MUST buy modern SVT LightningAdded:
Hey guys, what's up? It's Joe Ready from Rady's Rise. We're back here at Walker Ford in Clearwater, Florida. And guess what? I have something interesting that I've actually been hoping to bring to you, and it's right here. This is it.
This is a 2026 Ford F-150 Lobo. But guess what? This one has the dealer installed here at Walker Ford Whipple Supercharger kit.
But before we get into this modern version of the Lightning, let's talk about what's going on here. So, you heard correctly, we've already brought you the F-150 Lobo. And the Lobo really is that street performance truck that is sort of like a blank slate, a blank canvas to build your idea of what a perfect street performance truck is.
Now, of course, here at Walker Ford, you could get yourself a Raptor Raptor R, and those are performance trucks, but they're lifted and they're not really for going through the twisty bits. This Lobo gets a lot of special touches from the factory, but like I said, it also has that Ford Performance Whipple supercharger kit. Plus, there's some other touches that have been added. And that's the thing is is that no matter what your dream envision is when it comes to performance street truck, you could actually have it all done here at Walker for before you even pick the truck up. So, what I want to find out is, is this Lobo really a Lightning? A Ford F-150 Lightning? Let's go ahead. Let's dive into this one and find out. Right off the bat, you're going to get some unique style to it because it has a special arrow body kit. Now, at the front of the business, love the way they did the lighting. All LED lighting with your headlights, your daytime running lamps, your turn signals. Even the way they did this metallic black. It's not just gloss black. Metallic black on the trim.
Working our way down, you have some flat black and you do have LED fog lamps.
Now, the Arrow body kit is a 10piece kit. And it all starts at the front. So you could see that extra arrow that they put on the lower corner and it essentially goes pretty much around the whole vehicle to help give it that extra sporty style. Now as we come across the front grill, I love the way instead of a blue oval, you have the black oval with the Ford script. You also get unique LED lighting daytime running lamps that's in the grill. This is specific to the Lobo.
the metallic black accents and then working our way down. This is also this whole lower bumper is unique to the Lobo with the metallic black and the flat black around the perimeter. But let me know what you think about the face of this truck. Now, the Lobo is built on what is known as the STX, the F150 STX trim. So, it's not a very highly option trim, and they did that on purpose because they knew a lot of owners are going to want to make modifications. The one thing that I would like to change on this one is I don't like the way there's nothing behind this grill area. I wish there was some type of panel or something to help the air go where it needs to go, directed. But other than that, I do like the face of this F-150.
Now, as you rise up, you are getting a unique hood. The sad thing is they're not functional. So, you have those ornamental sort of decorative things placed on the hood, but it would have been nice if those were functional heat extractors. I think that would just help with that overall performance vibe. Now, coming around the bend, you do get unique wheels, 22in wheels, nice metallic black multis-spoke wheel. And if you're wondering, well Joe, what's the tire size? Tire size going to be 275 on the width. 50 series sidewall, the Lobo sits about an inch lower than a standard F-150 STX.
Other than that, what you're going to find is some specialtus.
So, here's your upper control arm. You have your shock absorber, your damper.
Those have all been specially tuned to help in the handling department. So, it's not just a looks thing. This has the go to the show, but let me know what you think about the wheel style with the particular Oxford white. This is called Oxford White, very bright white. Coming down the side, you do have the F-150 Lobo name. And Stephen's going to swing around to show you that is a functional side fender vent. Flat black on your mirror caps. From the side of the vehicle, like I said, you can see it's a little bit lower. And you'll see the addition of those arrow pieces. So, this is all unique to the Lobo as you go around the vehicle. Coming towards the rear, of course, you have that steel box frame. I like the way it's got a nice bold indentation here. Would have been nice to put some kind of graphic low or maybe even just put lightning because think about it, they killed the lightning off. Lightning is dead. Thank God when they brought the lightning as an EV sounded cool, lightning, electricity, lightning bolt, but I don't know about you, growing up in the 80s and 90s, the Lightning was all about V8 performance. And this definitely is more of a Lightning in my eyes than the electric battery operated one. Swinging around the back, just clean. Love the way you got the blacked out blue oval with the Ford name F-150. Nicely done.
Working our way down to ground level, you do have a unique rear painted bumper, metal bumper with that dual outlet exhaust, the satin black. It's going to let that V8 sing. And you can tow with this street performance truck as well. But why don't we go ahead?
Let's pop the hood and see what Walker Ford added to this Lobo. All right, guys. We got the hood popped. You do have hood struts to hold open the hood.
And there she is in all of her glory.
That is that dealerinstalled Whipple supercharger kit. Love the black powder coat finish. The way it's got the Ford performance badge on both sides. You also do get that special airbox intake tube, a intercooler, and that Ford performance calibrated ECU.
What are we looking at though? The stock Lobo has that Coyote V8 right out of the Mustang. It's a 5 L. 400 horsepower though and 415 pound-ft of torque. With the Whipple supercharger kit, you're looking at 700 horsepower and 590 pound- feet of torque. The best news is is that it's all covered under your factory warranty. So, that's the special touch if you're going to go this route with this particular supercharger kit. Made it to the 10-speed automatic 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds. Top speed is 180 m an hour and that is that 3 L twin screw Whipple supercharger. You're also going to get a tomahawk calibration tool as well. But this is what Ford is trying to accomplish with the Lobo, giving you the blank canvas so then people like Walker Ford can take your performance truck vision and turn it into a reality. But why don't we go ahead? I want to take you on throttle in this street truck.
But before we do, let's fire it up and hear what it sounds like.
All right, guys. We're inside this Whipple supercharged 2026 Ford F-150 Lobo. I know you're saying to yourself, "Well, Joe, I love modifying my vehicles." And you're right. Like, sometimes it's nice to just have a blank canvas cuz you're just going to go in and change everything anyways. So, how much is this truck? So, the Lobo itself MSRP is $60,000.
with the supercharger kit and uh the leather cat skin interior seats that I'm sitting on, you're looking at a price of $72,000.
That's what everything installed, including all the work hours and stuff.
And basically, it takes about a day and a half to make the magic happen. But why don't we go ahead? Let's see if this is the performance truck you've been dreaming of. To the door panels. Now remember, because it is an STX, you are getting hard plastic on the door panels and you're getting very, very simple style. The nice thing is you do get a soft armrest with some contrast stitching. You do have your center tray there for two Costco hot dogs. And then down below you could get yourself about 20 chicken bakes and a couple Pepsis to wash it down. Now, going from the doorbell to the dash, hard plastic. I'm okay with it though on the dash cuz it actually looks good. I like the way they put this textured design. You have your F-150 pocket. This is where you could actually slide a box of Little Debbie cream filled oatmeal sandwiches. On the side is where you could put a couple bananas so you don't have to put them in your hammock. And then slide on in. You are getting the standard 12in infotainment system. So it is that Sync 4 system. You do have Apple CarPlay, Android Auto.
You could swipe through different things here, whatever you want to do. It's actually a very intuitive system to uh figure out. Let me throw it into reverse for you. Backup camera is large. It is on the grainy side, but I do like the way they have the trajectory, which is really nice. And you'll notice the column shifter, which is kind of cool.
Down below, you have actual knobs for all your controls. Standard AC, temperature, blower fan. You do have a 12vt. get yourself a radar detector. You do have a home power source which is nice. And then you also have that 4x4 system which is specifically tuned for the Lobo and your different drive modes down below. USBC, USBA, you could put a million dollars in this cubby down here.
A million dollar and 100 g bars. That's 1000 g bars. Two cup holders. You could put a couple lunchables in there. Stack up your Lunchables. And then you have the nice soft touch with the stitching.
Yes, this opens up so that you could have your lunch and not make a mess on the interior. Or you open it up and you got plenty of room in here. I mean, you could fill this up. I would love to fill this up with like around the holidays, usually I always have some relative that gives me one of those large popcorn tins that has the butter popcorn, the uh cheese flavored, and the caramel flavored. I would love to just pour that whole thing in there and just mix it on up. M. It might make a mess, but boy is it going to be tasty.
I'm getting hungry now. Seats. Catskin installed leather here at Walker Ford.
Love the material. There's a little cat skin badge. I don't know if Stephen can show you the catskin badge right there.
And then you do get manual controls for the passenger, manual controls for the driver because this is a lower STX trim.
Black headliner, but no sunroof. But why don't you come over here to the business end? I want to show you where you're going to be going on throttle with 700 horsepower in this Lobbo. Hi guys.
business time behind the wheel. All manual controls. Like I said, you could take these out, put some Ricaros in here if you want to go the Catskin route.
It's the blank canvas. And the manual controls are fine. I mean, once you set it, you're done. I'm 6 feet tall, plenty of room cuz this is a full-size truck. The one thing I wish they would have done from the factory is at least given us a leather steering wheel. This is just like rubber. I don't don't like that at all. But it does have nice flat black on all the switch gear. It is a manual tilting and telescoping wheel. And then you do have that 12.3 in digital gauge cluster. You could scroll through a cornucopia of information, which is nice. Plus, you have your different drive modes.
Really, really nice with the graphics and everything. Kids love these things with the graphics. Oh, it's raining. I definitely don't want to drive this in rain. We're going to go full sport mode.
That's how we're going to roll. Now, you do get the full back seat area. I've already shown you that plenty on F-150s.
What I want to show you now is if you're ready, I'm ready. Let's go on throttle in this supercharged Lobo. All right, guys. We're leaving Walker Ford. YOU READY? ON THROTTLE.
HERE WE GO.
WOO! WOW!
This truck has been trans freaking formed. I mean, we're talking about an additional 300 horsepower over a stock Lobo and the fact that it's all under warranty.
Plus, I really love these catskin leather seats. I mean, it's just a nice touch. It's almost like that's how it should have came from the factory. But like I said, that's the best thing is you get to modify it exactly the way you want it.
And I think that's the big plus of this Lobo. Now, just like any other Ford F-150, nice size infotainment system, lots of great storage space, and it is a very comfortable environment to be sitting in, especially when you're going on throttle with that 3 L Whipple supercharger underneath the hood. Of course, I do have it in sport mode.
And I love the wine of the superchar Whipple. Always it always gives a good wine from that supercharger ON THROTTLE. HERE WE GO.
NICE.
And the 10speed ships really well with the supercharged V8 and with the four-wheel drive system.
the 4x4 system, it gets the power to the ground very, very effectively.
And that's another thing, you know, if you want to swap out the the wheels, get a wider wheel, wider tire, you have all of these choices that you can make, which is really nice on this setup.
Great visibility out the front, out the back.
I mean, this is really what a Lightning is all about. And if you look at the Lightnings from the past, they didn't have like this super upgraded interior and stuff.
So, it it kind of plays well into that place of this being a modern-day Lightning because let's be honest, that electric lightning that No, no, definitely not for me. And I know not for many of you. So, all right, guys.
Just pulling away from the light, just knowing that you have all that power underneath your right foot. It's awesome.
And I like the fact that Ford retuned the suspension to give you a little bit better handling F-150 as well. It's always a nice touch.
We're going to go on throttle again as we uh roll onto the highway.
This thing is just sick. It really is just sick. how much power and the fact that it's all under warranty. That is the craziest part of of the whole equation.
But I love the easyto read digital gauge cluster and of course having that uh Whipple supercharger underneath the hood.
But man, these catskin seats, they're very, very comfortable.
Even more so than leather seats in a in a standard F-150, like a Lariat or something like that.
But the truck is very easy to drive and uh is going to give you that lightning vibe that you want, the real lightning vibe.
We're going to go on throttle on the Radies Rides test track here in a few short seconds. Don't you worry.
Yeah, I would have liked to have seen this truck just a little bit lower and uh with a little bit wider rubber, but like I said, those are things that can easily be handled on throttle.
Oh my god. Jeez.
This thing is a freaking hoot, man.
I mean, you get your full-size truck capability, but you're also getting your uh on throttle performance truck experience. It's It's really really the jack of all trades here.
Slow down here a little bit and we're going to go on throttle.
You ready? I'M READY. OH, THROTTLE. GO.
WOW.
And the truck handles very well. Good turning, nicely balanced, then you nail it.
She moves. She moves. That's for sure.
But I'm so glad to be able to finally share this with you. And I'm so glad that you could get this done right at Walker Ford, even before you pick your truck up.
Boom, boom, boom. Under warranty. 700 horsepower.
But we're going to go ahead and get back. I hope that this has been a good one to share with you what's possible in this Lobo. We're going to get back to Walker Ford and wrap this one up. So, I'll see you in a split.
>> All right, guys.
Another mindblowing day here at Walker Ford. Definely got to thank Frank Walker, Weston Walker, and Tracy getting us access to their build with this truck, having that Whipple Supercharger, having the special cats skins leather interior, and you could up it from there with everything else that you want that's in your vision. But let me know down in the comment section. Is this modified Lobo really a modern-day Lightning? Let me know how you feel about that in the comment section. But if you're new to the channel, you're on your way out. Hit that subscribe button.
I promise you it's worthwhile. Come back for more. If you are a subscriber, thank you for being part of the Razor Eyes family. Got to get up to Stephen Flood.
He's working the camera. He's working his magic and he's working the ladies.
So, thank you Stephen for all that you do. And just like always, guys, I'll see you on the next ride.
