Harvest Moon Echoes of Teradea - New Release and Pre Order Info!

[00:00:00]Hey everybody, Wilder here and so sorry I'm late on this one, but Harvest Moon: Echoes of Tera Dea is now up for pre-order. Again, I know I'm a little late on this one. Thank you to all of you who commented on my other Harvest Moon video telling me about the pre-order info though. I appreciate you guys. I've just been busy. All I uploaded was my Star Fox video recently, which you should check out by the way.

[00:00:19]Card in the top right corner. However, let's stop yapping about that and start yapping about this. Harvest Moon: Echoes of Tera Dea. So yeah, like I said, pre-orders are now live. Also, I realized I never said the release date for this game in my last video. It's September 24th, 2026, which I'm actually glad it's coming out after the summer and more in the fall cuz that's not a bad buffer there. I'm happy with that.

[00:00:43]I'll be playing Star Fox in June, July, August anyway. So the game will be coming out for the Switch and Switch [music] 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

[00:00:52]Of course, lots of choices there. I'll be getting it on the Switch 2, but I really want achievements. I want them to bring achievements to the Switch 2. It's oh, it hurts me. Please. Okay, the big thing that everyone is talking about though is the pre-order bonus you get along with the game. It is a plush. Of course, it is. I I feel like that's a standard pre-order bonus now for the Story of Seasons games, so why not Harvest Moon as well? The plush you'll be getting this time is this super cute baby Lupo wolf plush. This thing is so cool. I love the colors as well. Now this is of course a plush of the in-game guardian spirit Lupo the wolf. There's a close-up picture for you as well of the plush. Again, this thing is so cute. Now if you want this little one, then you will have to either order this game off of Amazon or [music] from Natsume directly on their site. No wolf for you if you go through Best Buy. Wolves do not like Best Buy. I don't know why. I didn't ask. So let's talk about the price for a second because Harvest Moon: Echoes of Tera Dea is going to cost you $59.99 USD, which means this game will be our regular comfortable old school pricing. However, the Switch 2 version in Canada is going to be $85 instead of $80, but as many of you have told me through [music] the comments, yes, this game will be on the cartridge along with the Switch 2 upgrade pack, meaning it will not be a game key card, and I am a so happy about that. I mean, we kind of saw this coming cuz like the consistency of Story of Seasons games having the game on the cart, you would expect Harvest Moon to follow suit, but hey, they easily could have not and you know, just to save cost or whatever. What do I know? They could have not done this. But yeah, they did and I will actually be adding another physical game to my Switch 2 library, which is exciting. Let me know what platform you guys are getting this game on. Now, we also got some new looks at the game itself through some screenshots that have been floating around. So, first we have a few screenshots of the main character walking through one of the towns in the game. There's one here of them walking into town and another of them walking by what looks like a mansion or a villa, which is pretty cool. Something that's not pretty cool though is I wonder what the resolution of some of these textures are cuz they look blurry.

[00:03:03]Now, you can see here in this screenshot, it's definitely a Switch button layout, so I'm wondering is this the Switch 1 running this game? Cuz like you cannot tell me that's the best the Switch 2 can do with this. Like, come on now. Come on now.

[00:03:17]One thing I am happy about though is the colors on the first screenshot of this character running into town. I love the fall colors. It It looks really pretty.

[00:03:25]I mean, I hope it's fall. But yeah, moving on, here's the image I showed you in the button layout and here's one of the weather effects in the game. It looks super cool here. I want to see it in action before I say much else, but having massive weather effects like a tornado is really really awesome. Again, I really want to see this in action before I say much else. Also, you get a good look at the UI in both of these screenshots. You can see in the tornado picture there's four icons for the D-pad. It looks like we'll be able to call our horse, [music] use some sort of beacon, probably like a mechanical device. There's a flame icon, which I would have assumed would mean set up camp with a campfire, but then there's the tent icon, which would probably lead us to the camping setup in the next photo here. So, this here, this one right here, this person right here, must be one of the guardian spirits we'll be meeting along the way on our journey. I love her design. I wonder if all the spirits will have different color themes for their outfit and their hair. That'd be cute. Something a little less interesting, but still noteworthy is the stamina hearts here in the bottom left.

[00:04:26]There's only four here, and in the tornado screenshot there are also four as well. Question, do you think moving around in this game will drain your stamina like in past Harvest Moon games?

[00:04:39]I really hope not.

[00:04:42]I don't want that mechanic. They should put it to bed. At the very least it looks like our horse will be super important in this game for travel. He even gets his own horse button. If the horse is always with you, then that'll stop you from losing stamina from moving most of the time cuz you'll be on the horse. Not the best, but it's better than nothing. I just want them to do away with this mechanic entirely.

[00:05:03]I hope they do. But the last two screenshots here are of conversation with two characters, Lorelei [music] and Bryce. So, it is confirmed that there will be five bachelors and bachelorettes in this game, and I wonder if Lorelei and Bryce here will be two of the 10. I hope so because I really, really like Lorelei's design. I have my eye on her cuz she looks great. There's also the musical note icons next to their names, which I assume is like the hearts in the past Harvest Moon games. One thing I wanted to ask is how do you guys feel about Harvest Moon just committing to the 3D models in conversation?

[00:05:36]I really think it looks cheap like this.

[00:05:40]I I do. Honestly, with the improvements they're making to the look and quality of the Harvest Moon games, they could just start doing what A Wonderful Life and now all of town does, which is the camera zoom into the 3D model.

[00:05:52]Personally, I think that would look way better than this. This looks really, really mobile game to me. Let me know what you guys think though.

[00:06:00]Other than that and some slight concerns about the textures in those first screenshots, I'm actually looking forward to learning more about this game and actually checking it out. Wilder excited for a Harvest Moon game? Uh kind of, yeah. Rare footage, rare footage.
