The video effectively illustrates how economic desperation can be transformed into a potent political tool through organized civic resistance. It underscores the reality that when institutional dialogue fails, the street becomes the only effective venue for policy negotiation.

CORK - HUGE RALLY PLANNED THIS WEEKEND OVER COST OF LIVING CRISISAjouté :
Well, folks, if you thought the Ireland National Fuel protests were over and done with, then I think you might be wrong.
Given what's been happening over the last week, the completely inadequate and insulting package that the government brought forward that has done really little to nothing to alleviate the woes and misery of the hollers, the building contractors, the farmers, etc. who protested in the first place. Leo Faradgar has came out over the weekend and I'll show you some of the details later on in this video basically insulting uh Irish farmers even further saying that they're really costing Ireland money and that they're bad for Ireland at this time. Uh also the energy minister predicting that energy prices in the shape and form of electricity could be rising between 4 and 8% this summer as well as possible increasing fuel prices as well. You have a mixture here very volatile mixture coming into the summer months where you could see a lot more protests on the streets. So, uh, there's a headline, uh, that has been, uh, released today, and it ties in with a protest that I've just found out about today that I'm going to give you the details on. In fact, I'll bring this up for you right now. This is to take place in Cork this Saturday. Cork this Saturday. Now, let it also be noted there's another event happening in Cork this weekend.
Apparently, it's got nothing to do with this one where they're getting a group of people together and holding a ticketed event somewhere. Uh they've distanced themselves, I believe, from this protest, which is a blockade, slowm moving convoy type pro um protest taking place in court this Saturday.
This Saturday. And it's being branded as a cost of living protest. And I have it on good authority uh from one of the people that has been lined up uh to speak at that event uh namely uh the mighty John Wilson. I hope I'm not uh jumping the gun and announcing him as a possible speaker here. It hasn't been confirmed but I think uh he'll be there uh speaking to the crowd on Saturday.
This is not anything to do with the other the other event that's happening on the Sunday. So, uh, it's a cost of living protest that kicks off, uh, on the grand parades, 2:00 p.m., uh, on Saturday afternoon, April the 25th.
Uh, there will be a convoy, then a peaceful rally with guest speakers.
Join the citywide stand against rising costs affecting every sector, farming, college, small business, families, and students. So it's all inclusive.
Everybody is welcome to come. I don't know that this is linked in with this group that are that are really issuing an ultimatum to the government and I want to uh bring them to your attention as well. You can go and follow them on Facebook and you can check out their updates. This is a group called the people of Ireland against fuel prices protest and as you can see it's a very large group there. They've amassed around about 78,000 followers and they've really issued a statement to say that expect more of the same after a deadline of the 2nd of May.
So they want to see major action being taken by the government between now and the 2nd of May or there will be more of the same that we saw at the the port in Gway and also of course the oil refinery down in Cork and Okonnell Street and the Keys in Dublin that were effectively locked down and shut down for six days when masses came together peacefully and ultimately forced the government's hand to at least deliver something that they would never have done in the first place. So that's the people of Ireland against fuel prices protest group. Go and check that one out. I don't think they've organized this one. They may be in in connected with it somewhere. If they are, great.
Leave a comment below and let me know if you're you're aware of that. But either way, I understand this protest is going ahead on the 25th of April this Saturday. well ahead of the 2nd of May deadline that the other group have set to see uh action from the government. So this is I suppose a heads up uh on what may be coming down the pipeline over the next couple of weeks. So that uh fuel prices group did play a big role in uh organizing the nationwide protest that we saw over the last two weeks over the Easter periods.
uh they're holding meetings apparently at various locations to plan what's next because they don't want the momentum to be lost that we seen very very nearly brought brought the Irish government down uh on this the Tuesday after uh Easter when they reconvened again at the doll it was mad scenes as you can imagine and that was fully covered on this channel so it's a group claiming to represent and professional drivers, farmers, hollers, they're warning the government that a large peaceful protest could be ruled out again as early as next month. And like I said, it's coming into we're getting a good spell of weather at the minute. Uh if ever there was a time for mass peaceful protests on the streets in the towns and villages of Ireland, it's during a a spot of good weather. So that could coincide very nicely with a period of high pressure. And I'm not talking about high pressure millibars. I'm talking about pressure on the government.
Uh they played a key part and are holding meetings. I've already told you that. Uh the protest brought most of the country to a standstill. Uh Miho Martin labeled them as a national sabotage. Uh and of course he sent the Nagoon squad very heavy-handedly, which was a PR disaster, as well as summoning up uh the Irish army to tow vehicles away if needed. absolute PR disaster and we're seeing seismic shifts uh in politics, Irish politics over the last two weeks alone. It did force their hand. They said uh it didn't force their hand, but it did. It did. They would never have released that second half a million euro block of aid had it not been for the pressure that was applied to them on the streets. Be under no illusion and take something from this. That stuff works.
It works. do it for long enough with enough people peacefully the pressure is on and they have to act otherwise nothing moves.
So the plan is from this group to allow the next two weeks to play out. Two weeks moves fast folks. See what comes from the discussions. There's no meaningful progress. We will go back to uh mass organized peaceful protests on foot across major towns throughout Ireland.
So they've uh thrown down the gauntlet as it were.
This is showing the government the reality. The sheer number of people struggling every day. There are no real developments within the next two weeks.
Planned protests will commence on the 2nd of May. So that's only a couple of weeks away. Uh we will come together again in unity and send a clear message that the government must go.
I tell you, they're not messing around.
And like I said, this comes off the back of other headlines that are popping out today here. Uh, Ireland electricity prices could increase by at least 8% or by 8% warns minister. Uh, it's already seen protests across the country over fuel prices. Could we see electricity protests happening after the 2nd of May or a combination of both or whatever else might have happened in the interim period.
So this is a warning coming from the government themselves not not just speculation online.
And then of course we had uh Leo Veratkar. Veratkar RAT Veratkar little to rag XT shock who scarpered off literally like a rat from a sinking ship over to his little lecturing gig in in America. Very shady, very uh strange set of circumstances that caused little Leo to bolt from Linster House. But he did.
But he comes back from time to time with a smug grin on his little face, little rodent face. H. He says, "We're the ones paying all the bills. Uh, urban areas fund rural Ireland, so to hell with the farmers. What are they crying about?" He says, "We're the ones funding them."
Bargar said there's a perception in rural Ireland that the people there are the real workers says little Leo from his comfortable little office in America being funded by who knows who doesn't never gets his little hands dirty or maybe he does but it's not getting the work done if you know what I mean over the past 10 to 20 years he said we're now in a space where things are starting to go the other way what's in the interest of farmers is not in the interests of Ireland as a nation.
Really, they still see themselves as the people who bring money and jobs to Ireland where actually a lot of the time they're costing Ireland. You see this move?
Little World Economic Forum fanboy puppet Leo Veratkar is doing everything he can to please his globalist masters. It's exactly what he does.
Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds.
But anyway, back to Saturday. Uh this is kicking maybe wave number two off. So if you're in uh the Cork area or you're able to make it down to that or you want to participate in that, uh check out um this poster.
And like I said, more details will arrive on this one probably through the week, but I'm trying to bring you as much information as I can on it as far in advance as I can. So, please share this one out. Leave your comments below.
Uh especially concerning Veratka and his comments regarding uh farmers really are all they've cracked up to be in his words.
Uh share this content out. I think I've said that. I'll say it again. Share it.
Share it. Share it and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already done so.
