Military action in Cuba? Trump dismisses concern after DOJ indicts former president Raúl Castro

[00:00:00]Former Cuban President Raul Castro, brother of Fidel Castro, now facing charges here in the United States including conspiracy to kill US nationals. The 94-year-old is charged along with several others for the 1996 takedown of two humanitarian planes. The big question now is will this lead to military action in Cuba? President Trump has been floating a takeover of the country since earlier this year. There won't be escalation. I don't think that they Look, the place is falling apart.

[00:00:52]Blanche says this is the first time in nearly 70 years that senior leadership in Cuba has been charged in the United States for acts of violence resulting in the deaths of American citizens. This isn't a show indictment. This is an indictment because we we expect that there was a warrant issued for his arrest. So um we expect that that he will show up here um by his own will or by another way. And when asked how much longer the blockade in Cuba will remain in place, President Trump said quote, "We'll see." teasing a potential announcement soon.
