In the United States, the First Amendment protects the right to film in public spaces, meaning there is no legal expectation of privacy for individuals in public areas, and government employees including police cannot legally stop or harass someone exercising this constitutional right to document public events.

🔴🔵I WAS PUBLIC FILMING! Manager Called the Cops on ME! 👺👹🔴🔵Public Filming in America!#firstamendmentAdded:
Hey everybody, welcome back to the channel. I'm Carolina and this is a Larata production. Today, my boss, Buddy Ba, has sent me to Halum City, Texas.
Specifically, the mission includes that I have to stress test the First Amendment while public filming and document people who do not understand that there's no such thing as privacy in public. The social experiment will also document any government employee that might show up. And you are not going to believe how a cop reacts to my camera.
You'll have to stay to the end to see.
Let's get into it. So, the shoe store is called Hibbit.
There's City Trans right next door.
on the very end that the place that's empty. That used to be a really good restaurant and that was a mom and pop. I think that one probably went out of business, too. There's also a Pizza Hut right over there. And that Pizza Hut has been here forever.
But the newest one is the Five and Below. This is the one that's going to probably draw the traffic into the into the shopping center. Five Below.
That's going to be the the big draw.
I like Five Below because you can find all kinds of junk that looks like it came from Teu.
Marked up 2,000%.
They have a good candy section, though.
There's the Goodwill right next door.
That one's been there for a long time, too.
Then we had the Plasma Center and another thrift store and the Dollar General.
So, let's go check these guys out. Of course, it's just a regular five below.
They have their things in the front, draw people in.
I'm really disappointed with Goodwill because they put all their prices up.
They have no cost on their things.
Everything's donated, but now they're charging $9.99 for the jeans. That's ridiculous. $9.99 for the jeans and like for women's clothing, $7.99 for a shirt.
And some of the shirts you can get at at um some of the shirts that you can get at maybe like Ross or somewhere else for cheaper than what they're charging the Goodwood store. I have some found some cool stuff in there.
She is. Is she?
I think she's on the phone. She keeps taking little looks at me, but she's on the phone.
She's still on the phone.
She might be too afraid to come out.
She goes on the phone again. She's not wearing a smok. The lady, the older lady is, the young one's not wearing a smok.
Hey.
>> Okay, now we got some more shirt coming out.
>> Goodbye. We'll see y'all tomorrow.
>> Huddle.
>> Can we go bye?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Y'all have a good night.
>> Uhhuh. You too.
>> I don't want to cut into your camera.
>> Where you going? I'm going to go around this way.
>> Okay.
>> What's going on?
>> Huh?
>> Are you from Goodwill?
>> Not from No, I'm not from Goodwill. No.
>> Okay. Where are we filming?
>> Oh, we're just doing a project.
>> It's just for a project. So, are you the manager? I am >> cool. All right, everybody. Here comes the red flag. Crazy questions.
>> You're just doing a problem.
>> Can you tell me something? Yeah. Do more people pay in cash or do they pay in um credit cards?
>> It's a mix of both like most businesses.
>> So, do you guys make deposits every night?
>> Do you make deposits every night or do you >> I'm not at liberty to discuss that.
>> Okay. Is there any roof access?
>> I'm not at liberty to discuss that either.
>> Do you have a back door?
>> I'll have to go check that either. Okay.
All right. Why'd you guys raise your prices so much?
>> Do what?
>> You raised your prices a lot.
>> Uh prices are going up everywhere. You seen the gas prices lately?
>> Yeah, but if you lowered them in half, you could sell more volume and make more money.
>> I mean, yeah. To each their own.
>> Yeah.
>> Is there anything else I can help you with?
>> No. What? Um how they how many men do you have working in there?
>> Do what?
>> How many men do you have?
>> I can't discuss that with you.
>> Okay. So, it's all girls working.
>> I can't discuss that with you.
>> How many do you have at one time working in there? Like in the back? that either.
>> Okay.
All right. Enough crazy questions, I guess.
>> All right. Can I get him some information on you?
>> Well, my boss sent me out here to find out all that stuff, and now I got to go back and tell them. I can't find out.
They wouldn't tell me.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, I'm just seeing like the the um routines and stuff.
>> Okay. Um you're making a lot of my customers uncomfortable. They've already >> Yeah. Um so, if you don't mind just vacating.
>> Oh, I'm going to stay here. I got I have to stay for a little bit longer so I can make my money that my boss is paying me.
>> Okay. Can you film elsewhere and not to customers directly?
>> No, I have to I have to get I have to get pictures of them coming in and out >> of what?
>> I have to get pictures of them coming in and out the door so that I can get shots of the inside whenever the door gets opened.
>> Okay. Well, you don't have my permission to record me or >> Well, I don't but I can because you anybody that's in public can be filmed.
>> That's fine. It is a one But again, you're making my customers uncomfortable. So, I'm just asking you politely. Okay. Just don't call the police cuz I have I have I have warranties.
>> Making them uncomfortable.
>> No, don't do that.
>> Okay. Well, I'm going to >> I'm just going to stay for like another hour or so. So, >> Okay. Well, I asked you politely to leave, so I'm going to be calling the cops. Okay.
>> No, please don't do that. I have warranties.
>> I'm sorry. I'm going to have to. Thank you.
See how that works out for you.
Let's see how that works out for her.
Okay. Even though I told her not to, she's still going to call the police. I told her I was only going to be here for another hour. So, I don't know why she wanted to do that. So, we're just now we're just kind of waiting to see if they show up. They probably won't. We'll probably just have an interaction today.
So, we'll just give them a couple more minutes and see if they come. But, they probably won't. We'll see. They said I was making our customers uncomfortable.
No, I didn't make you uncomfortable till I asked you my crazy questions.
They're not going to come. Oh, here they are. They're here.
They really are here. They're right there. Let's see if they stop.
There they are. Let's see if they stop.
Did y'all see that?
>> I checked to see if it was near or not.
See if it come back.
Look, it's right here. Ooh, let's run.
Let's get out of here.
He's coming back.
He's coming back.
>> He didn't come back. So, I went to peek around the corner again.
>> Oh, he gone. He gone. He's gone. Oh, he's still there.
He's waiting by my car.
Dang. He's down there by my car, y'all.
I guess I could go shopping.
So, he's waiting down there by my car.
That's just great. That's just great.
Pretty obvious he was not going to make contact. Let's see what happens.
So, I decided to peek around that corner again to see if he was still there.
Probably not.
He's still down there, guys.
He's still down there.
Drag on my car.
Stay down there.
>> He's still down there, you guys.
We'll just wait till we see if he comes.
He's not. Last time we were in Hton City, they didn't make contact with us.
Uhoh. Got contact. We got contact.
So, he's not going to say anything to me. He's going to just keep on going cuz they know better that I can film in public. Na na na boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo boo Boo boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not coming back. He's not coming back.
I remember that last time I was in Haw City, they didn't make contact then either. So, these guys are probably aware of what's going on and how to handle First Amendment auditors. And that's when I decided to just go ahead and jam back to my car since he wasn't down there anymore. And that was that.
