Resident Evil 9 VR Mod v1.2 Is HUGE - Manual Reloads, HMD Movement & More追加:
We are back with a brand new video for the VR mod for Resident Evil 9 1.2.
Let's check out and see what has changed. Right up here under scripted generated UI, this is where all the settings are going to be. You want to make sure your headset is set correctly.
If you're using a PSVR2 or Quest, make sure it's on meta. If you're using anything else, you want to use Steam VR more than likely runtime. And then down here in movement, this is where you can turn on HMD movement. All right, this is HMD movement. As you can see, I'm turning. I promise you, I'm not using the stick. I am just rotating on my VR pad in my play space and turning without any issues.
I can turn around like this. And my body caught up with me as you can see.
Out of my way.
>> Yeah, buddy. Out of my way.
>> There's also a little Easter egg uh in the game that Tailman put in that I think's hilarious. And before I forget, I just want to show that real quick. If you long press X on the Oculus controller or A on an index >> lucky day >> and you press up, down, left or right >> on the right down on the right analog stick if I can speak. Sorry, >> you get oneliners.
>> What a [ __ ] shame.
>> Just so you know, I've killed every plant I've ever had.
>> Snap turn. When you enable that, you have choices of 30, 45, or 90 degree turns. I'm not a fan of snap turn. You can also enable the 180 degree rotation, which is pretty straightforward. When you use your left stick and press down twice, you turn around, like pretty instantly.
Okay.
You can also enable the physical crouch.
I am crouching right now and so is my character as you can see. Stand back up.
Now, there is a little bit of an animation to the character. So, it feels just a little bit weird, almost like you go over a small hill before you actually crouch. So, beware if you suffer from motion sickness.
There's that. Holsters are already enabled. You have one on your right hip.
You'll feel a little bit of uh vibration in the controller. You can adjust that also in here. You can enable it or disable it, but you can also adjust um you can't really see that very well.
You can also adjust the trigger distance. So, how far out from your hip if you see right now I'm feeling rumble. So, when I press the grip now, I've got the pistol in my hand. Put it back down there. Feel the rumble. No pistol. Okay. All right. So, you also have one on your left chest and your right shoulder for rifles.
Okay, now that we've covered holsters, let's go down here. Okay, we have a lot of manual reloading. You can enable it for pistols, SMGs, shotguns. You can even looks like you can adjust the ratio for shotgun shells. Um, manual reloading for the revolvers, the rifle, pump action.
I don't have time for this.
We also have the ability to enable arm parry. So, if you hold your left arm up at the right time like you would in a normal parry, you'll actually parry their attack instead of actually having to hold the left grip and use the axe or a knife or whatever depending on who you're playing as.
Enable manual throw. Pretty self-explanatory. So, throwables, you just hold down grip, make the motion, and let go, and it'll throw it.
You can enable or disable recoil and the recoil camera. You can also make the adjustments per character. So, it's character specific. You have recoil for Leon and you have recoil for Grace. And then down here, you also have your crosshair options where you can disable them entirely. Or you can enable the dot, choose your color.
So, we've done that. And then down here at the very bottom, this is where you can enable hands only if you don't like full body IK for whatever reason. That's totally up to you. You can disable it by just going hands only down here. Enable assist light. It's just the little bit of light that you have around your character. I've covered this in previous videos when you're in dark spaces so you can at least see a little bit without a flashlight. You can turn that on and off. We have enable manual healing. You get a healing item. You hold down the right trigger and then press A. It'll appear in your hand and then you can jam it in your chest or in your left arm.
Oh no.
>> When two-handing rifles, you can move them all around, including shooting around corners.
There is one more thing that I need to show you real quick and it is under HMD movement. This was actually added while I was um recording and Tailman sent me the files that made this adjustment. But when you're in HMD movement, you can move this HUD that's right here. You can move that however you want.
See if I can get it to go. Yeah. See, I can.
It's not really that intuitive in terms of uh on quest, but somewhere around the 200 mark is perfect for me. It's always in the lower right hand corner of my right eye, so that works really well. But I just wanted to cover that. Also, um you're going to be seeing this video the day before this mod releases. It is coming out Saturday >> to avoid inevitable Y'all done?
To to avoid inevitable installer questions, here's the here's the deal.
The installer that's on my site right now will work just fine for this. The reason why is because my installer no longer contains the files for this mod.
You are directed to his Nexus. You download it, you extract it, then you tell my installer where you extracted those files. I take over and you still get a guided installation. But this is a win-win for everybody.
Tailman gets all the downloads. I'm no longer taking them and you guys still get a guided installation.
So, all right, that's going to do it for me. I hope you enjoyed the video.
Remember to like and subscribe if you want to see more. Lastly, if you find yourself in the Flat to VR Discord and you see Tailman is active, be sure to thank him for all his hard work. He more than deserves it because if it weren't for him, we wouldn't be playing this or Resident Evil 4 in VR. Keep playing, keep surviving, and take care.
>> Oh, let's make this quick.
I am fall.
