[00:00:30]Newspapers called him the “Prince Among Slaves.” In 1828, Abdul-Rahman finally gained his freedom.

[00:00:36]But even then, his mission wasn’t over.

[00:00:38]He spent his final years trying to raise money to free his children still trapped in slavery.
