[00:07:34]>> St. Justin the martyr was an early Christian philosopher and apologist who defended Christianity through reasoned argument. He traveled extensively especially throughout Rome teaching and defending the Catholic faith. St. Justin was eventually denounced to the Roman authorities as subversive and he was executed by beheading.

[00:08:01]His writings provide some of the earliest descriptions we have on baptism and the eukarist.

[00:08:08]St. Justin the martyr was one of the first Christian apologists bridging Greek philosophy and Christian theology.

[00:08:18]Brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.

[00:08:32]Have mercy on us, O Lord.

[00:08:38]>> Show us, O Lord, your mercy our salvation. May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.

[00:09:06]Oh God, who through the folly of the cross wondrously taught St. just and the martyr the surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ. Grant us through his intercession that having rejected deception and error we may become steadfast in the faith through our Lord Jesus Christ your son who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit God forever and ever.

[00:09:55]Beloved, may grace and peace be yours in abundance through knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has bestowed on us everything that makes for life and devotion through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and power.

[00:10:16]Through these he has bestowed on us the precious and very great promises so that through them you may come to share in the divine nature after escaping from the corruption that is in the world because of evil desire.

[00:10:34]For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, virtue with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with devotion, devotion with mutual affection, mutual affection with love.

[00:14:51]>> Jesus began to speak to the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders in parables.

[00:14:58]A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a wine press, and built a tower.

[00:15:05]Then he leased it to tenant farmers and left on a journey.

[00:15:10]At the proper time, he sent a servant to the tenants to obtain from them the produce of the vineyard.

[00:15:18]But they seized him, beat him, and sent him away empty-handed.

[00:15:25]Again, he sent them another servant, and that one they beat over the head and treated shamefully.

[00:15:34]He sent yet another whom they killed.

[00:15:38]So too many others, some they beat, others they killed.

[00:15:45]He had one other to send, a beloved son.

[00:15:51]He said him to them at la last of all, thinking they will respect my son.

[00:16:01]But those tenants said to one another, "This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.

[00:16:12]So they seized him and killed him and threw him out of the vineyard.

[00:16:19]What then will the owner of the vineyard do?

[00:16:24]He will come, put the tenants to death, and give the vineyard to others.

[00:16:30]Have you not read this scripture passage?

[00:16:33]The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

[00:16:38]By the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes.

[00:16:45]They were seeking to arrest him, but they feared the crowd, for they realized that he had addressed the parable to them.

[00:16:56]So they left him and went away.

[00:17:00]The Gospel of the Lord.

[00:17:43]In peace, let us offer to the Lord our prayers and our needs.

[00:18:04]for leaders within the church that the Holy Spirit may infuse their faith and learn to love the people of God with diligence and affection. Let us pray to the Lord.

[00:18:17]Lord our pray >> that God our father may urge political leaders to follow the pathway of life virtue and joyful pursuit of his justice. Let us pray to the Lord.

[00:20:14]Blessed are you, Lord, God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you, fruit of the Earth and work of human hands. It will become for us the bread of lifeless.

[00:20:40]>> Blessed are you, Lord, God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you, fruit of the vine and work of human hands. It will become our spiritual drinkless.

[00:21:12]Pray brothers and sisters that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God the Almighty Father.

For the blood of your blessed martyr Justin, poured out like Christ to glorify your name, shows forth your marvelous works by which in our weakness you perfect your power and on the feeble bestow strength to bear you witness through Christ our Lord. And so with the powers of heaven we worship you constantly on earth and before your majesty without end we acclaim holy holy holy god. God in theest.

[00:23:41]You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fountain of all holiness.

[00:23:45]Make holy, therefore, these gifts we pray by sending down your spirit upon them like the dwfall so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

[00:24:00]At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread and giving thanks, broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take this all of you and eat of it, for this is my body which will be given up for you.

[00:24:31]In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice and once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take this all of you and drink from it. For this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and for many, for the forgiveness of sins.

[00:25:31]Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we pray that partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember Lord your church spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity. Together with Leo our pope and Charles our bishop and all the clergy.

[00:26:10]Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection and all who have died in your mercy. Welcome them into the light of your face.

We pray that with the blessed Virgin Mary, mother of God, with blessed Joseph, her spouse, with the blessed apostles, and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages, we may merit to be co-airs to eternal life and may praise and glorify you through your son Jesus Christ.

[00:27:30]At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say, Our God, be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
