London’s Dark History: Destroyed, Abandoned… Then Rebuilt Again

They rebuilt it in brick and stone. 1940, the Blitz levels entire neighborhoods. St. Paul's Cathedral stands untouched in the flames. Today, nearly 40% of Londoners were born outside the UK. Over 300 languages, 9 million people. A city that's died and been reborn a dozen times. 2,000 years of survival.
