[00:00:54]Hey y'all. Welcome to another vlog, another video. Anyway, today we are doing a Sunday reset, y'all. Um, well, somewhat of a Sunday reset. As y'all can see, my bedroom is very much empty.

[00:01:12]No chairs, no table, no rug.

[00:01:16]We're starting from scratch in here.

[00:01:18]Even the bedding. Okay, this you can see. You can see the bedding is very much bare, minimal because I plan on revamping this whole space. And y'all know that I like to repurpose stuff. So, the furniture that was in here is now in the loft. But if you've seen my previous videos, you've already seen that or known that, but um some of y'all are new here. So, I just thought I would say that. But y'all, I had to tell y'all about the last 48 hours. When I say y'all, when I say the enemy has been on attack, oh, attack 1,000%. Okay, so first, let me just give y'all a backstory of what's going on.

[00:02:09]I'm getting literally emails. like I'm going through my emails. I'm sitting in the car. Sometimes I I do work in the car just because it's it's just more peaceful for me. I don't know what it is. Something about the car. Okay. So, sometimes I'll pull like in the I'll leave from somewhere, go home. I'm sitting in my garage for like hours.

[00:02:31]And it's like my peace. It's like my my my place of peace. Okay. My safe space.

[00:02:36]So, I'm in the car. I'm scrolling through my emails and I'm getting I'm reading my emails or whatever and it's just everything is just aligning, right?

[00:02:49]Everything is aligning. Um I'm finally gaining momentum on YouTube. Like literally I have been on YouTube since let me look at my first video. Hold on.

[00:02:58]I'mma tell y'all. I've been on YouTube since I've been on YouTube for a total of 10 years, y'all. 10 years. My first video was in 2016.

[00:03:15]And it was, let me see, does it give a date? January 2016.

[00:03:22]10 years, y'all. Hold on. I can hear my son playing basketball and it's distracting me. Give me one second.

[00:03:27]Okay. So, I've been on YouTube for 10 years, okay? And I wasn't really consistent in the beginning. I'm not going to lie. Like maybe the first seven years I wasn't consistent. It wasn't until like maybe the last 3 years that I started to become consistent. And then maybe the last year, I would say, I've been like consistently uploading.

[00:03:56]right? If it wasn't twice a week, it was once a week, right?

[00:04:01]Um, so I finally started gaining momentum on YouTube, meaning the algorithm started finally started to recognize me. I'm not one of those overnight success stories.

[00:04:16]Like, I am literally still very much in humble beginnings, okay? But um the algorithms just started recognizing me and y'all know that um recently, well just a little backstory in case you're new here.

[00:04:35]Recently I had an interview, but God told me not to go to the interview. So I drove to the interview, but I ended up sitting in the car. So just in case y'all didn't see that video, I just want to kind of give a backstory on that. So I ended up sitting in the car because God told me not to go in. So, I was being obedient and I didn't go in. And ever since then, I'm not lying to y'all, it has been opportunities on top of opportunities that literally like this most recent one that came through blew my mind. Now, I haven't landed it yet, right? because it's a whole um audition process. But it blew my mind because I was like me literally me like and I just had I was just like God this ain't nobody but you is it's nobody but you because how in the world did they find me? So, with that, right, I'm in the car and I'm reading this and I just start crying because I can't believe the way God is turning things around for me and opening doors for me. And I feel like it's because I was so obedient because I literally was going to that interview out of desperation. And I told y'all I'm starting over and you know it's new beginnings for me.

[00:06:01]And so I'm really just trying to navigate my way through it all. And you know I had landed that interview. Mind you I had applied to I don't know how I don't know how many jobs. A lot of jobs.

[00:06:16]I had applied to a lot of jobs. And so when I landed that interview, I was like, "Okay, you know, this must be the one because out of all the jobs, I never got any call backs or, you know, not even an interview, like nothing." And so I I just got to, you know, thanks for applying. We'll, you know, contact you if we need you, basically. And so when I landed it, I was like, "Okay, this got to be the one cuz this the only one that's, you know, called me back or whatever or reached out for an interview." So when I started when I was praying about it and I was studying for the interview and then I was praying about it, studying praying and God and I just kept hearing some something telling me do not go to this interview like this.

[00:07:03]Do not go to this interview. And so I went anyway. I I drove and I was like I as I was driving I was like God if this is not for me you know I need you to tell me like I need you to to come through and tell me. And I heard him clear as day when I pulled into the into the uh parking lot and I heard him clear as day say do not go in and it was like signs with everything. It was the pouring down rain. I had no I didn't have no umbra. It was just a lot. And so I was just like, okay. So I sat there in disbelief. What? Like what am I going to do now? You know what I mean? And so now that you know things are just starting to happen for me, it's just like I'm just so grateful, right? And so I'm in the car and I'm just like I'm crying. I'm thanking God. I'm praying to God. I'm praising God. I'm just like, "Thank you. I know it's nobody but you."

[00:08:06]You know, I put all my faith and trust in you.

[00:08:10]And it's like the minute I did that, it's like things just start turning around, turning around for me, right? And I'm like, I know it's nobody but you. I know it's nobody but you. So then, um, I got this. So, what's crazy is, let me let me put this together for y'all.

[00:08:30]So the email, so then I got this email while I'm praising God, I get this email and it's like, mind y'all, I got this the email that, you know, blew my mind about the audition and then got this email and it was from a tech company, like one of the top content creator tech companies, right? And they're like, "We want you to review this microphone for us." Um, you know, it's a brand deal basically. and they're like, "We want you to review this microphone for us."

[00:09:02]You know, email um what it say to click on this link. The link will direct you to our partnership page, which this is very typical for some um for some companies like brand deals. So, it was like it would link you to our partnership page and you just put in your rate and link your YouTube channel, link your socials, right? I have done that before for partnerships and so and then like I said the brand was very very noticeable. is one of the top brands and so I'm excited and they're like a microphone and I'm like oh this is perfect because I'm like God you're aligning this for me like cuz I got to do this audition and I need a microphone like this is perfect you know you're aligning everything for me and so I'm excited and so I click on the link I go to download my YouTube stuff and it kept like doing this like white white. So, I'm like, "Okay, it was like a Google app or whatever." So, I was like, "Okay, maybe I need to get on Google Chrome cuz it wasn't coming up."

[00:10:12]So, I get on Google Chrome and then it comes up. So, then it starts working.

[00:10:16]But then it starts asking me to log into my email and I log into my email, which is my YouTube Gmail, right? And it's asking me to log into that. And so I log into it and then it's like give me this code and give me this code and I'm like well it was asking like what is this code coming up on the screen on their system. So I'm thinking it's like a human you know how sometimes you got to make you have to tell them that you're human. You know they have to determine whether or not you're human. So that's what I'm thinking it is. So I'm just putting in the codes.

[00:10:56]Nessie, I know y'all. My phone stopped blowing up saying your password was reset. Your pass key was reset. Your this, your that.

[00:11:10]Y'all, I'm like, what is going on? So, I was like, "Okay, let me just get out of this completely and try to log into my account and see what's happening."

[00:11:24]So, I try to get into my account. Mind you, this is my YouTube account. I'm trying to get into my YouTube account and it's it keeps telling me wrong password, wrong password. I'm like, what? Like, this is crazy because this is my password.

[00:11:39]And then I'm just like, was that hacked?

[00:11:42]Like, did they get me?

[00:11:49]So sure enough after you know a thousand attempts I mean I tried everything. I tried to reset my password. I mean I was trying everything right and I just could not get into my account. I even was asking chat GPT like what do I do? And so y'all, I'm talking about I I I don't even know how many times to the point where chat was like, "Don't do it no more because if you do it again, like you're going to be completely locked.

[00:12:25]Like you could forget about getting back in it." So I was like, "Okay."

[00:12:32]So at this point, y'all, I'm in full panic mode. Like I am crying, boohooing.

[00:12:39]Like can't breathe. like literally having a panic attack. Literally like I'm talking I was trying to stand up and I was like laded. Like it was it was bad. Okay. And I was like, "Oh my god, I'm looking for phone numbers. Like who can I call? I can't call Google. I can't call YouTube.

[00:12:59]They don't have a phone number." Like what am I going to do? And I am literally in panic mode. Okay. So, because there's no phone numbers or whatever, I'm literally like panicking because I'm just like I lost my account 10 years, all that hard work, I finally started gaining momentum, you know? Um, I'm lack on like just to put it out there, not to not say it like that, but I just started like really making like okay money. Not great money, but okay money, like enough like substantial, right? And I'm just like like this this can't be happening. Like as soon as I praise as soon as I start praising God. So I'm just like this is not happening. I literally when I say I went into panic mode y'all I went like I literally had a panic attack. I literally had one. I I'm serious. It was so bad that and I never let my children see me cry. But that's how bad it was.

[00:14:00]like they saw me crying because I could not control my emotions. I just felt I felt so helpless. I felt so lost. I felt I felt so defeated and and I was just like there's no like I can't believe this is happening. And so I start like googling like what can I do whatever. So then there was a YouTube video like oh you can submit a ticket.

[00:14:24]But the ticket that I submitted, they were like, "Okay, well, we will email you with instructions on how to um regain access to your account." And I'm just like, but there's nowhere where I can cuz it's one of those AI things. And there's no way that I can tell them you can't email that account because I have no access to that account. That access was taken. So, you're going to email my hackers basically. And so, I'm just like I'm at that point I just felt so defeated, right? I submitted a ticket and when when it came up with that response, I was just like, "Oh my god."

[00:15:07]Like, and then on top of that, I had a a one of the brand deals I have coming up literally rung my doorbell with the package. And I'm like, "Oh my god, I got to send this back cuz I don't have a YouTube anymore." Like, this is where I'm at, y'all. Literally. So, then chat tells me, um, you can, what did they say? You can, um, tweet. you can go on X and tweets YouTube. Like, this is the way to to uh talk to talk to somebody or whatever. And so, I'm just like, but I don't have a I don't have a X account. I don't know nothing about X.

[00:15:48]I don't know nothing about X. So, I'm just like, what do I do? I'm just like, oh my gosh. So, then I just had to like gather myself. I was like, you know what? And I'm talking about this is hours of this, okay? I I was just like, "Okay, I'm going to go take a hot shower and just try to get myself together, right?" So, I get in the shower and I just start talking to God and I'm just like praying to God and I'm just like, "Why is this happening, God? Why?" And I was like, "I need you to fix this. I need you to fix it." And I was like, "You know what?"

[00:16:19]I said, "I'm trusting you and I'm giving it to you. I'm giving it all to you." I And I told the devil, I said, "Let me tell you something. You can't have my joy. You cannot steal my joy. This is what this is an attack from you. And you can't have my joy. I refuse to let you have my joy. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. I say, God, I give it to you. I give it all to you. I'm relinquishing it all to you. I'm going to let you take care of it. I can't. I let I'm letting go. It's all yours. And I believe and I trust that you're going to take care of it for me. I give I I give up. I just I give up. I surrender.

[00:17:04]Y'all, I'm not lying. I got out the shower and chat was like, "Go ahead and just, you know, create a X account." So, I was like, "All right, I'mma create a X account."

[00:17:17]And I'mma hit them up and we'll see what happens. You know, I'm like, I'm looking at their page and it's like a million people on there. like they ain't going to see my little tweet or whatever.

[00:17:27]Plus, I know I'm at the bottom of the totem pole because I don't even have like this is my like I literally had to create an account. So, I'm like I don't even have no follow nothing. So, I was like they ain't going to see me, you know.

[00:17:42]I put it out there, y'all.

[00:17:45]And not even 30 minutes later, they responded.

[00:17:51]And I was like, "Thank you, God." And it wasn't like a automated thing. It was a person.

[00:17:59]It was a person. They were like, "I understand how you how you probably feel, and we're going to try to resolve this for you immediately." D. These are the steps. yada yada yada. Y'all, they had Matt. When I say I gotta give all honor to God first and foremost, I gotta thank Chat GBT and I have got to thank YouTube because when I say they was not playing, y'all 24 hours, they immediately emailed me like literally like maybe 30 minutes after I talked to them and I submitted the information that they needed. They they emailed me back and said we reached out to our our internal team and had already heard back.

[00:18:46]They confirmed that the YouTube channel my and Google account had been compromised.

[00:18:52]So I didn't even have to prove anything.

[00:18:55]It had already been worked out behind the scenes before I even got to them.

[00:19:00]Like that's crazy because the turnaround time was ridiculous.

[00:19:06]Like from what I was seeing, people had to wait weeks, days.

[00:19:13]My my stuff happened literally in like 30 minutes, 30 minutes, 30 like overnight, literally. And I was blown away how fast they were moving and the fact that they had already basically seen that it was compromised. So basically, thank and this is the other blessing.

[00:19:35]This is the other blessing. The hackers had started to work on my account. So, they had touched my family channel. So, basically, they had wiped out my profile picture on my family channel, but they hadn't done anything to like the videos.

[00:19:48]They hadn't touched Lauren the Lord.

[00:19:50]They had not touched it yet. And so, I made sure that I told YouTube that like it's still live. They said, "Oh, we shut that down. We shut that down when we realized that it was compromised." So, they had already shut it down before I even got to talk to them. That's what I'm saying. Like, I was like, "Wow.

[00:20:10]Wow." So, that put me at ease, right?

[00:20:12]Because I'm like, while they're working on it, I don't have to worry about the hackers destroying or stealing my money or whatever, right? So, I'm just like or just like destroying my whole page. So, I'm just like, "Oh my god, thank you, God. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. And y'all, I'm talking about one thing after another, one thing after another. Okay, we were able to recover your account.

[00:20:39]You're in the clear. It was like I was back like nothing ever happened. You hear me?

[00:20:47]Nothing ever happened. They did end up, my daughter told me, Zoe told me that she went on their account meet the islands yesterday and the videos were gone, but they recovered them. I guess once I recovered my email and everything because they're back on there. So, she was like, "Yeah, they're all back there now and my profile picture is back." So, I was just like, "Oh my god, thank you God." But y'all, when I say that was torture, that was torture, right? So, I'm just like, "Oh my god." But we back, y'all.

[00:21:22]We are back. And I am so grateful. And when I say y'all, I got about 20 different authentications authentications on.

[00:21:31]And and so this is what I learned, y'all. Y'all learn from me. Do as I say, not as I do. Okay? What I learned was when you get a email and you and I don't care if you suspicious or not, I need y'all to check when it says from, it's to you, but it's from somebody.

[00:21:53]Make sure that email cuz it's just going to say initially it just said the person's name, right? For me, it just said the company's name on the front part, but when you click on it, it said from whoever at some random email. it wasn't the company's email. So, make sure cuz it's going to initially just show like the company or whatever.

[00:22:18]Make sure you click that drop down box and make sure you checking the email that it's from. Make sure that that person has an email relative to the company that's emailing you, right? So, let's say it's from Dove. Okay, that person email need to say seandub.com.

[00:22:40]Okay, it should not say [email protected].

[00:22:45]Okay, just because that's what I found out and I was just like after I did the drop down box after it all cuz chat was like, "Oh, check this." And I checked and I was like, "So that is your red flag, y'all. That is your red flag. Okay, especially my content creators. Please, please check that. Okay, check that. So, but yes, I'm grateful. I'm so grateful.

So, I'm probably just going to redecorate it for the video purposes cuz like I already decorated it somewhat, but I ordered some more stuff on Amazon and we can decorate that. Uh, and then I need to just do some other stuff. So, yeah. But I just wanted to share that with y'all.

But yeah, I I'm dressed because I had Zoe had a basketball game earlier this morning. So, in case y'all were wondering, that's why we're dressed. So, yeah. But, um, let's get to the bathroom. That's I'm excited for that.

[00:25:12]My my biggest goal is I just want the bathroom to feel like spa-ike and just like aesthetically pleasing.

[00:25:23]So, I do want to change the lights in my bathroom. Like the light fixture.

[00:25:34]What is this? Oh, I do want to change like the light fixtures in my my bathroom. So, I'll probably do that next. I'm debating on if I want to paint it again. Uh, just cuz I'm over the gray.

[00:25:59]So, my hardware in my bathroom, my um finishes in my bathroom are black. Like, my handles are black, but my the other finishes are uh nickel finish, right?

[00:26:17]like or I could I I'm fine with it staying nickel, but I do want to add incorporate more black because I do have like the black handles on my cabinets.

[00:26:29]So, with that, I got these black then they're plastic, but they still look, you know, they look like they glass, but they're plastic. I got three of these and I basically got them because um my body washes. I got them for my body wash really because I like to keep them in the shower with me and I don't like that they're like different colors and different sizes and it just throws the whole aesthetic off. So I got three of these.

[00:27:07]Now the only thing is they come with stickers of course but the stickers are body wash shampoo and conditioner.

[00:27:24]But what I think I'm going to do Oh, actually they come with So they come with the black and the white. So I could do two of these.

[00:27:38]I'm still going to put all my body washes in all three. So, I might just put shampoo and conditioner on them, but it won't be shampoo and conditioner. It'll be body wash. And the way I'm going to be able to tell them apart is smelling them. Okay? And that's what I do anyway. Honestly, I don't I don't I'm like, oh, I just I'm not like, oh, I want to use this one today. No, I smell them. And it depending on the smell, it's like, "Oh, I want to smell like this today." That's how I do it.

[00:28:06]So, it'll work out. Um, so yeah, I'mma put all three of them in here. My shampoo and conditioner I keep under my cabinet. So, when I wash my hair, I just take them out, put them back. So, I'm I'm not worried about that. So, but I need my body washes because I literally use body wash all the time. So that's what I got these three for to put them in my little niche in there. Um, so I got those clean skin club. These are my talletes that I use on my face, but I got a total of 100 because my kids use them, too. So they get 50 and I get 50. So that I got some 3D press whitening strips. I'm going to try these out. Y'all, let me tell y'all, I had this snow teeth whitening thing.

[00:29:03]Y'all know that thing that cost like hundred something dollars. I bought I Tell me if anybody else does this. I do this all the time. I buy all types of gadgets and I never use them. They sit under my sink. Y'all know that the gadget that um everybody's been wearing like the mask that does like the UV rays underneath and you know it glows or whatever that's supposed to like rejuvenate your skin. Y'all, why had that thing brand spanking new sitting under my cabinet for at least since Christmas?

[00:29:37]I do that all the time. I buy these gadgets. I bought a gadget to like um shave my face. What is it called? Um when they sh when you shave your face. Y'all know what I'm talking about. Y'all know my brain don't be working. That thing uh it's I've had it for years. Have not used it. Now if I could show y'all I even the the face steamer. Don't use that. Everything I see, I buy it and it literally sits like I could open a spa.

[00:30:10]I got all the little tools, like the tools to like squeeze the the blackheads, the white heads out. I got everything.

[00:30:19]You name it, I got it. Okay. Never used it. But what I was going to say about that snow thing is I bought it.

[00:30:34]I was like so I was scared to use it cuz I was like well maybe I can still use the mouthpiece and just get like the um the whatever I forget what it's called but the stuff that you put on your teeth cuz that's what they said expired. But I was scared to use the mouthpiece cuz I was like I don't know if that's going to make them more yellow. I don't know. So I threw it away.

[00:30:58]I'm telling y'all cuz I just pulled it out the other day and I was like, "Oh, I just spent all this money on this thing and I never used it."

Okay, so I had to order I ordered these hooks to hang my washcloths with, but I just remembered that I needed to take the ones down. So, basically what had happened was I had some before, but um they kept falling and they weren't adhesive. They were the ones that had the suction cup on the back and they just kept falling. So, I had to throw them away. And then I had the little caddies. The caddies came with like this little clear holder thing to hold the caddy up.

[00:37:05]So, I threw them away. So, I still had the little clear things up. And I've been using them to hang my watch. Y'all will see that in a minute cuz I'm going show y'all cuz I got to take them down and hang these up. So, yeah. And I got to figure out how I'm going to take them down. I need some I think I need some um some um dinner floss. That's what I need. Dinner fl y'all. I need some fish oil.

And then, y'all know I got the other stuff the other day. So, we're going to basically decorate the bathroom. So yeah, let's get to it. I need to uh first figure out a dental floss situation with this plastic thing.

[00:40:19]So, this is a trick that I learned doing um with my clients when I'm trying to remove like command strips and all of that. This is the way to do it. Well, command strip, but I'm just thinking adhesive in general. I'm thinking that that this should work. So, we're going to try it. Yeah.

But anyway, so the way I discovered this, right, my daughter when she moved out, she had like a lot of, you know, um, body care stuff like under the sink. So, I'm going through it. I'm smelling it or whatever, and she had this body wash under the sink, but it was in different packaging. Um, and I was like, "Ooh, this smell good." So, I started using it. When I say it's so moisturizing, y'all, and I fell in love with it. So, I just ran out of it recently, and I was like, "Oh my gosh."

[00:43:34]Like, I don't think they're in business anymore. And when I say I went crazy trying to find it, it was in different packaging. So, when I found this one, I was like, "Oh my gosh, I hope it's the same one." Because it's in different packaging. Like, I hope they didn't change the formula or anything. And sure enough, it's the same exact one. It smells so good. This, y'all, I prefer this over any high-end uh body wash way. I'm telling you, it's called The Body Shop. Um the the fragrance or the name of the the one I use is called Shay, y'all. Okay, let me let me let me just let me just I wish it had notes on it.

And honestly, like at night, because I have daylight lights in my bathroom, um just for like makeup purposes or whatever, uh I at night, I don't like cutting that white light on. So, the ambient lighting, like typically I would use like, you know, candles. But I was like, let me try a cordless lamp in here. That would be nice. But I didn't order one yet. I had my eye on one. I'm going to order it. But I do have a like a mini lamp that um my daughter used to have in her old room that I'm going to use in here. It's not cordless, but it'll work in the meantime for the meantime. So, that's what we're going to do. And y'all know I got my glass tray in the last video. So, we're going to use that. Uh and yeah, and I'm probably going to do some uh little tealight candles. you know, I just want to give it like very spa peaceful vibes. So, that's what we're going for for sure. So, yeah. Um, like I said, I already played with it.

So, yeah. So, we're definitely going to have to pick up tomorrow. Um, where we left off or, you know, I might have to finish up everything I wanted wanted to do today, I'm going to have to do tomorrow. But, yeah, I love the way the bathroom turned out. It's so It's so relaxing and and peaceful and pretty and calm and it's it's just really giving spa. It's giving spa and that's that's what I wanted. So yeah, I can't wait for that lamp situation. I think that's going to be so pretty. I think that's going to be stunning. So yeah, but definitely want to look at light fixtures and see about switching them out. Um I might order some from Amazon, but I do want to go into Lowe's and possibly Home Depot and see what they have.

It looks terrible behind it. So I there's no way to like unless I putty like unless I get somebody to actually come in and mud the wall and basically reconstruct reconstruct the mall the wall. Um I'm not going to be able to get like smaller I what I really wanted was like a small base but I'm not going to be able to do that unless I get someone to come in here and and mud the wall. And I'm not doing all that. I'm not I'm not paying for that. I'm not paying for that. So, I need to figure out I need to find light fixtures that's going to cover that mess that they got behind the plate that they got up there. Now, it's it's a mess. Like, they they do not care. Those builders, they do not care.
