I thought we could play a little bit more Paralyives today, chat. That is my main plan. Um, I'm really excited to play some more of the game. Um, I'm just having a lot of fun with it. And so, I want to try maybe to finish the build that we started yesterday. And then I thought we could do a little bit more gameplay. I probably shouldn't shouldn't stream for like the most time ever right now because I do have some recording I need to finish. I spent way too long building in Paralyives this morning to make a video for today. Um and I I didn't do anything else I need to get done. But um I'm going to try my best to to see how long we can stay here for. And I'm gonna stream again in about four hours because we're going to play Town to City as well today because Town to City also came out full release today. Lots of fun stuff happening. Um, first, if it's okay with you, oh, I know this stuff's gonna be in kind of a weird spot, I think. But, um, I built this for YouTube and I wanted to try and take a screenshot or two of it. Um, oh, there's a floating mailbox.

Um I think that gameplay-wise I was just encountering some like struggles like it was um my my person kept freezing and like I would I would have to do like the reset sim button or whatever the unstuck thing um and like even that wouldn't work sometimes so I had to keep reloading. So I was having a little bit of trouble I guess yesterday and then I decided I wanted to build my own thing from scratch. Um mine was more glitchy than yours. Interesting. I heard people telling me that. I was, "Oh my god, just donated $700."

Um, so if you're coming at us with like a Sims perspective, early access often means like exclusive, you know, like you have to be invited. But in general in the gaming industry, especially in like indie games like this, early access just means that you can buy the game before it's fully completely done. So anybody can buy it and play it. Um, you don't need to like have special access or be invited. This isn't the full release, but it is released, if that makes sense. Um, so hopefully that helps. Um, you know, I know everybody that's ask like the big question everybody wants answered is like, how is the build mode in this versus the build mode in Sims? I really feel like it's hard to make a direct comparison with a game that is in early access like this. Um, cuz like, you know, I was having a lot of glitches yesterday, like my floor disappearing that like those that doesn't happen to me in the Sims. Um, but like you know, this game is brand new and it's in early access. Um, this has a lot of customization. An extreme level of customization.

[00:53:19]So cool. Like some of the best things I've ever seen. Um, and in that way it blows it out of the water. It also has less items though. But like I, you know, I just don't think it's really fair to I know everybody wants this game to be like the Sims killer and there's a lot of pressure on it in that direction. I just don't know if it's really valuable to be like this thing is the better game and this one is not because I I think it puts too much pressure on paralyze so early in its life. I I want this game to be able to succeed and I don't want people to like have the expectation like you know they can they can both exist exist and like serve different purposes and you can just enjoy them you know um it's like I know that I kind of always compare it to the Stardy Valley and like all these other life sims and or farm sims I mean to say this is kind of the first time that there's been a new life sim that really has like done this you know um but like Stardy Valley there's a million in one farm simulation games I like lots of farm simulation games. I like them all for different reasons. I just like the genre. I like this genre. I like them for different reasons, you know. I just think that the putting the expectations on it, I'm I'm worried that it's going to like result in like people then being disappointed when it's not, you know, but it's it's in early access. It's not done yet.
