The Mandalorian & Grogu Is THE BEST Star Wars Movie! Better Than Empire Strikes Back! Full Review

[00:00:00]Man, you know that this society is straight cooked when the greatest Star Wars movie ever made. That's right, I said greatest. The Mandalorian and Grou is sitting in the 50s on Rotten Tomatoes. I mean, people just can't appreciate fine art anymore. And not only is it a shame, but we're rapidly descending towards infinite media collapse.

[00:00:33]Let me tell you something about The Mandalorian and Grou. This is the most entertaining Star Wars film bar none. I know that, you know, the the meme is that nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans and that everybody's got their own take. You know, the original trilogy. Oh, Empire Strikes Back is the greatest Star Wars movie. And then you get the the millennials who grew up with the prequels who like to jerk off Revenge of the Sith. And then you've got people that are like, "Oh, you know, Rogue One was a really good movie and people don't appreciate it." And and then The Last Jedi is divisive. Listen, none of that matters anymore, okay?

[00:01:13]Because we're going to be honest. We're going to be honest with ourselves and we're going to remove off those rosetinted nostalgia glasses and we're going to look at these films objectively and we're going to learn very fast that The Mandalorian and Grou is not only one of the greatest films ever made. It's probably a piece of cinematic history if you think about it, but it trumps every Star Wars film that came before it. Like it's not even close. If you do a Star Wars ranking and The Mandalorian and Grou is not in S tier, you got [ __ ] for brains and [ __ ] for taste. I I there there's no way that I can I I can't make you appreciate true art, but I can damn sure try to convince you that that's exactly what it is. This eloquently crafted tale weaved about a man who struggles with morality who found this child changed his life.

[00:02:19]It's pure creative ecstasy. The writers knew exactly what they were doing. It's the greatest Star Wars film to date.

[00:02:35]And if somebody came up to me, it's like, "Yo, Dead Metal, I think I'm getting into this Star Wars thing. You know what? Should I What should I watch?

[00:02:43]Should I do four? Should I start with episode one? Where do I go?" No, you you can skip all that. Just watch The Mandalorian and Grou. Honestly, The Mandalorian and Grou makes The Empire Strikes Back look like The Room by comparison. Okay? Like, I I'm being honest. like you go back, Empire doesn't really hold up that well.

[00:03:05]Uh, a lot of wooden acting, the effects, you know, they they haven't aged particularly well. Um, the story is very derivative. Uh, by the way, like it's just it's it's really not a good movie.

[00:03:18]Uh, but the you know what is a good movie is The Mandalorian and Grou because it entrances you. It gets you to care about the characters, something that those prequel movies failed completely at. All right. And now we all know that prior to this movie coming out, prior to The Mandalorian and Grou, the best Star Wars movie was The Rise of Skywalker because it really captured the essence, the fun, the mystique of what a Star Wars film should be. Um, it was second to none, honestly. that it was like, okay, Star Wars way up here, number one, The Rise of Skywalker, and then you drop down like five or six bars, and then maybe you could throw Empire and then Attack of the Clones in there as well. But The Mandalorian and Grou have has raised the bar so much, I don't know that they should ever make another Star Wars film because it's not going to be this good. It's not going to be this amazing. It's not going to be this pure fun. That's exactly what it is. It's a a romp, a space adventure with captivating characters, beyond creative writing, excellent plot arc. Like, every character matters, and it's just God, I was brought to tears. I really was. By the time the credits rolled, I was sitting in the theater seat crying because it's like, look, I have waited 47 years for a Star Wars film to hit all of the right notes. And that's exactly what The Mandalorian and Grou did. And I I I will say this, while I don't think it's smart for them to make another Star Wars movie, if they do, I want The Book of Boba Fett on the big screen. I want Boba Fett on the big screen. He deserves his own movie.

[00:05:16]And regardless of what path they choose to pursue going forward, this movie deserves your money. I've seen it 12 times already. I'm going again tonight.

[00:05:27]Um it it it's peak Star Wars. It's peak cinema. Go. You will not have a bad time. This movie, it's impossible not to smile. It's impossible not to cry. It hits every like you thought it was sad watching Anakin turn to Darth Vader in the prequels. If that got you, if that rattled your emotional core a little bit, just wait until you see what they do in The Mandalorian and Grou. I'm not going to spoil it. You need to go see it. You need to support these.

[00:06:07]like that. You have to go see it. 10 out of 10. I've seen it 12 times, going for number 13 tonight. You all need to witness this. It is the greatest Star Wars film. It is one of the greatest films, not just of the year, not just of the decade, but of all time. This film, quite honestly, they want to put A New Hope in uh the the film archive as a a pinnacle, as a piece of cinematic history.

[00:06:32]We can yeet a new hope right the [ __ ] out and slot in the Mandalorian and Grou because it is a more competent, bettermade, better directed, better written story all around.
