TRADER JOE'S NEW ARRIVALS & GREAT FINDS for MAY 2026!(5/28)✨PRODUCT TESTING & HONEST REVIEWSAdded:
Hello my friendly shoppers and welcome back. This is Gina. I hope your day is going well so far. We are back shopping at Trader Joe's and we're going to see what we can find this week. I know there are some new items and let's get started. There are still so many beautiful plants here at the store.
Oh, I just love all of them. If I could, I would just buy them all. I couldn't. I don't have the space for them. I don't have the car room and it would definitely go over my plant budget, but honestly with the plants here, they are a good price. So, those were about $8.
We have the rosemary tree for about $11.
And then I turn around and they're still more. So, these are the hanging succulents. Those look so fun. Those are $9. So, if you're ever looking for a simple gift, always double check at Trader Joe's and their plants. The little mini succulents. Look how cute.
$3.30.
And then we have our calillies for $7. I still love the little mini roses. Those are $13, but those are goodiz pots. And then look at all the different plants.
If you're wanting a new plant, those are $8 each. Now, the mini succulent garden.
I have a couple of these and they do really well. Those are $6 each. Oh, I like these. Got to double check as ceramic, but those are actually plastic.
But look how cute they are. They're so tiny. Those are adorable. And those are only $5.
I may get another mini succulent for $6.
I just like the little variety. And then the ferns. Okay, $9.
Look how cute they are with the sunglasses.
Those are perfect for summer.
And then inside we have our peies. They have not opened yet. So that is $10 for a bunch. And look how pretty. So these are just beautiful bouques. But once they open, they'll last maybe a couple more days. And then our pineapple, the colada Royale is back for $5 each. Look how beautiful the purple broccoli.
That's $350.
Those are organic. Okay, so at the end of today's video, we're going to put together a pizza here from Trader Joe's.
So, I'm definitely going to pick up some arugula.
And we have some beautiful radishes of many colors.
It looks like a lot of like the pink and purple. Those are $3 each. We also have our organic rainbow baby carrots for $2.
And be sure to hit that subscribe button, especially if you want to know the latest here at Trader Joe's and if you love seeing different recipes with foods from here at Trader Joe's. Now, I did pick up some cucumber. So, I'm going to add some chicken to my pizza. Now, this is already cooked. Is $10. And then this is a pizza sauce I do like. This one is about $2.70. You're going to find that in the cold section. Now, it's definitely hot dog season. We have a great variety here. But this is new from A&H. This is the kosher hot dog. $7.
Oh, those sound good. And I've purchased the organic unccured, the grass-fed.
Those are really good. Let me know if you have tried these. And then we have our al pastor dice pork shoulder. Okay, $6.50 a pound. See if I can find a price. So about $13 is the average price. I'm going to have to look up some recipes for these. And then our puo assado. Now that's our chicken thighs at $7 a pound. So this is about $10.
Now remember the chicken is raw, so you want to make sure you cook it thoroughly. Now this one sounds good, too. So this is a chicken tenders, sundried tomato and basil. That was $7.50 a pound. So this is about $11, a little over $11, and I picked up two of them.
So that's about the average price. Now, here is a new item from Island Oasis.
The scent hair oil. Okay, it's gonna smooth frizz and flyaways for $6. I'm going to pick that up and try it out. I will definitely keep you posted. Now, I have been using this for a week, the vitamin C serum for $10.
It is amazing. Honestly, I like it better than the one I get at Costco. And it's a better price. So, definitely check that one out. Ooh, beautiful gourmet medley tomatoes for $4. And if you love root beer floats or just root beer in general, definitely check this out from Virgil's their root beer.
You're getting four cans for $5.50. I know it is on the pricier side, but this is really good root beer. And the organic jalapeno limeade has returned.
This makes really good margaritas, especially if you're looking for a margarita with a little kick to it.
$2.80 a bottle. And then the country peach for $4.80.
Now, I'm kind of thinking this could be good in a ninja slushie. Now, it's not just peach. There's other flavors as well. But let me know in the comments below. Should I pick this up and then add it to the Ninja slushie? See how it turns out? Have some peaches on the side. Ooh, that could be a really good fun summer drink. And if you want to smell good this summer, the Brazil nut collection is back. So the body scrub is back for $6. The body oil, that one is $7. Is in a glass container, too. Our body butter for $6. And don't forget the body wash, that one is $6 as well. And then our basil pesto sauce. Now, sometimes once in a while, I will get it from Costco, but I like this size. $3.
If I need a lot, I'll pick it up from Costco. But a little here at Trader Joe's. Now, this is the olive and basil pesto.
Oh, I need to try that one. $250.
There's some good items right here. And a couple of these items only here for a limited time. And then seasoning in a pickle. The seasoning blend 2.3 o for $2.50.
That is a returning item along with the lemon stuffed olives.
Oh, those would have a nice citrus taste. And you can make a good martini with this one. $3. But personally, I don't drink martinis. They're a little too strong for me. Now, we have a new instant oatmeal. It's unsweetened.
There's eight packets. Oh, this has a lot of good items in it. It's gluten-free as well. I'm going to pick this up. I will keep you posted. So, $3.80.
Let me know in the comments below. Have you tried it out? And then what did you add to it? And the spicy mango lemonade is back. All right. I love it. And so, when you first drink it, now for me, it's sweet and then at the end, I'm going to get that heat right in the back of my throat. And it's just so good. It also makes a great cocktail as well. Or you can just drink it right out of the bottle. Now, we do have some new gummy candy that I haven't shown recently. And we have just the lobsters, and those are fun. So, the serving size about six pieces, $130. Now, the strawberry fields gummy candy. I love the packaging. I think it's so pretty. And there's a lot of strawberry items in right now. $2.30.
And then we have our organic teeny tiny gummy bears. Oh, those are super cute.
This is a 3oz package and that one is $1.50. So, check those out. Now, the S'mores clusters. Okay, I haven't had this in years. This is a returning item.
Now, honestly, I really like the ones from Costco. Now, this is $4. So, let me take this one home and try it out.
And I like the size of the bag, especially if it's really, really good.
And then taking a bite out of it, it was a little challenging. It's a little bit on the hard side. It's one of the reasons why I like the ones from Costco is because they have the caramel, so they bite in really easy. They're really addicting, too. But I do like s'mores. I mean, the marshmallow, graham cracker, and chocolate is always a great combination. Now, the root beer float pieces. This is really interesting.
However, I'm not a fan of popping candy.
Even as a kid, it was not for me. But let me know if you try those and what do you think? Seven oz for $3.80.
And then this is new. The unccured ham and Swiss cheese pockets. Okay, this sounds really good. This is something I think my daughter would like because she loves like Swiss cheese and ham, like the croissants, and she's always like finding those out. like she gets them from her school, from Starbucks. But let's take these home. $4.50 now for two of them. And then when my daughter gets them from Starbucks, I believe she pays about $4 for them. So, I'm going to heat it up in the oven cuz they should be just a little crispy.
Then, here's some nutrition facts and the ingredients.
And I like that they are individually wrapped. So, I'm going to throw the other one in the freezer and let's try this one out. So, we baked it in the oven and it is messy. So, I took a few bites.
I actually really like it. The flavor is really good. It is just really messy.
So, definitely be mindful of the mess.
But all you have to do is just heat it up cuz they are fully cooked. Now, in the ice cream, the fudgy cookie dough ice cream. This is a good one. This is a returning item. And I was looking for the price. I couldn't find the price, but what I did find was that passion fruit sorbet. I was hoping to find it today, but looks like they're already sold out. But when it comes to the ice cream, honestly, Trader Joe's knocks it out of the park. They always do such a good job with their ice cream. And that Detroit style pizza, we have been loving this for $8. So, I've been picking one up a week. It's great for lunch. Now, with, you know, school coming to an end, if you're looking for like some easy meals, these definitely come in handy.
It's the same item. It's just two different packages. And those are $4 a box. If you love key lime, try the tea cookies. Those are delicious. $4.80, but they are on the messy side. Now, the Patons. Now, these are the baton wafer cookies. Those are $2.50. So, the strawberries have returned. Now, the cocoa ones are always here, but I haven't had those in years. So, we're going to pick both of them up and then we're going to try them out. You can see the containers, two different sizes, but I'm kind of curious of how the strawberry tastes. I've had the cocoa.
Oh, these are so pretty to look at. Oh, those are cute. They are definitely on the sweet side and you do get a hint of strawberry, but I do prefer the cocoa.
You can see, yeah, definitely a size difference, but that one's really good.
But definitely give those a try. Now, this is one I've never tried before. The organic thick and chunky salsa. So, it looks like it's a medium heat, but let's try it out. 16 oz for $330.
So, I do have some chips here at home.
And let's open this up. That container did not want to open up, but let's try some out. And then after a few bites, I know I tried some, my husband tried it.
I really didn't get any heat. So, it is, in my opinion, very mild and it was good. I'm not sure if it's something I would run after. If somebody was to serve it, I definitely would not turn it away. Here's another returning item, the strawberry and vanilla flavored yogurt pretzels.
Now, 10 pretzels per serving. Those are pretty good. Nice and sweet. A little bit of salty. $3.50. Here is a new item.
Vanilla Mars pony for $4.
Oh, I'm definitely going to pick that up. I will keep you posted. And then we have a whipped ricotta cheese. Now, the nice thing about this one, you could have it sweet or savory. $3.50.
Oh, that's a good one to have on hand.
And the fresh mozzarella, the cheese pearls. I am going to be making a pasta salad soon, and those come in so handy.
Now, here is a new item. Strawberry white Stilton cheese, perfectly paired with pomegranate.
Now, it is all sealed up in the wax.
About $5.50.
Well, let's take this one home and try it out. Now, with these cheeses, they will be a little bit on the sweeter side, but how to open it up. Thinly slice the bottom part, the wax off. And then I'm going to take a knife and I kind of cut the edge. And then I just start to peel it off. And then, of course, the top will just pop right off.
And you could cut it any way you want. I tried to cut it like a little piece of cake, but then it broke in half. Now, with this cheese, it is on the sweeter side, so you could serve it with fruit, and it is delicious, but definitely don't expect it to be savory. This is definitely a sweeter cheese. And it's so unique, and you could get that strawberry taste to it as well. So, if you are wanting a sweet cheese, definitely give that one a try. And then the mozzarella cheese log. I'm picking this up for our pizza at the end of today's video. This is good to have.
It's already pre-sliced. $6.50.
Oh, my mini Bree Bites. They quickly switch back to these containers. I did stock up on the other ones, but let me know which one you prefer. They're both $6. Do you like the cup or do you prefer like the little plastic bag? For me, the plastic bag is so much easier to open.
And this is a returning item, the wheat crisp crackers for $2.50 a box. That's actually a really good price because of course these are a duplicate for wheat thins. Now, when I was pregnant with my daughter, of course, that was many years ago. I had such a huge craving for wheat thins. I went through so many boxes, but I think these are better. They're not as salty. Sometimes the other ones were just a little too salty at times, but I think these are really good. So, if you are a fan of wheat thins, definitely check those out because I even think they're a better price, too. Now, with our pizza, we definitely need the pizza crust. So, I'm going to pick this up.
There's actually two of them in here.
And for $4, that's a really good price.
We used to use these once a week, so it's been some time. And then I love this little end cap. So they have the other pizza sauce. That one is about $2.
And then we have our parmesan cheese, the pizza crust again. And then of course in the little refrigerator they have their mozzarella cheese and then pepperoni. But we picked up chicken for ours.
So this is fun. And they are so easy to put together.
And the s'more the better. Oh, I love s'mores. This is another one so fun to put together. But the graham crackers here at Trader Joe's are delicious.
$3.50.
Or if you want the ones with cinnamon, we have our dark chocolate or milk chocolate, the pound plus, and then our marshmallows for $3. Well, let's head on home. Let's put together this pizza. So, we have our crust, our pizza sauce, the chicken, the mozzarella, cheese. I did pick up a red onion and our arugula. And I already had the glaze. And the glaze is from Trader Joe's. As I mentioned, easy to put together. So, first we're going to start to preheat our oven. And you can see like the different temperatures.
And then I have them laid out. I have it on a huge baking sheet. Now, I did pick up the olive oil. I know it's not from a single origin, which is preferred, but I did want to try it out. I sliced up my onions. Those red onions were not kind to the eyes.
So, the pizza sauce, one container did take care of both of them. Going to add my mozzarella. So, I just kind of tore that up as well. And I still have half a container. My daughter loves these, so she'll eat the rest. Now, with my onions, I didn't use all of them, just the smaller pieces, cuz the onions could be a little too much, but saving those for sandwiches later this week. Then I'm going to add our chicken. It's already cooked, so all you have to do is just add it to it. You can add it in salads as well. I still have quite a few left, so I will save that for later. And then I added a little pepper on top. And then the everyday seasoning as well. Now, the arugula, while it's in the oven, I'm going to add a little olive oil to it.
And then I add this like at the end. And you can see it's really little. Now, arugula is going to have a pepper taste to it. And so, I just added just a little bit of olive oil, just enough to coat it, give it a nice little shine.
And everything is done. This only took 8 minutes. That's how fast it cooks up. I added just a little extra cheese to it.
And it looks really good. Then my arugula is on top. Now I only did it for one because my daughter's not a fan of arugula. Then we're going to add our glaze as well. Give it a nice acidity on top. And then we're just going to slice it up as best as we can. So we have two options here.
And it tastes so good. I'm really enjoying it. Everyone, well, I hope you enjoyed today's episode at Trader Joe's.
Thank you again for watching. Take care and I will talk to you later.
