Breaking: Major Supreme Court Denial Leaves Gun Owners Feeling Betrayed

[00:00:03]So, I couldn't be any more disgusted with the Supreme Court right now. And we have a lot to talk about today like Duncan V. Bont, Vera Montes, Gators, and more. But it's not just what they're doing with those cases. It's what they just did to Tate Adamiac, the Navy sailor who in every shape and form is sitting in prison right now wrongfully convicted on false pretenses. And I haven't seen anything so blatantly careless. in a long time. And it proves that they don't care about upholding the Constitution. They'd rather take ridiculous cases that only affect people who are maybe connected to a government agency or some, you know, wealthy conglomerate with massive resources. But when it comes to people like you and I or Tate who got 20 years for having cut up pieces of firearms, apparently we can all pound sand. So today we're going to go ahead and discuss the Supreme Court's orders list from last Thursday's conference and what's going on with Duncan Gators, Vermont, and AGR and what just happened at the Supreme Court to Tate Damiac. So today, uh, stay tuned because this is something that everybody needs to know about.

[00:01:17]Now, real quick, if you think that the Supreme Court is failing the people by not addressing constitutional injustices, make sure that you subscribe because I have a feeling over the next few weeks, we're going to be seeing a lot more of it. Now, I'm going to cover it all right here. So, let's go ahead and talk about what just happened today.

[00:01:32]And I'm going to start off with the Adamiac story because this is absurd and should make everyone angry. and and then we'll talk about, you know, what happened with Duncan and, you know, the other major Second Amendment cases the Supreme Court have been sitting on since what, December of last year. Now, first off, just in case you don't know, Tate Nadamiac, and I I really hope I'm pronouncing that right out of respect, is a Navy sailor who, in my opinion, and every other commentator and scholars opinion that I've ever seen, was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to 20 years in federal prison after go after after the federal government decided to treat cut up machine gun parts as regulated NFA weapons. This has become a huge story and even hit Congress when the new director of the ATF was asked about it recently.

[00:02:19]>> I want to bring up a specific case to you. Um, this one involved a gentleman named Patrick Tate Adamiac. He was a Navy vet. He was honorably discharged.

[00:02:32]Uh, Mr. Tate is a non-violent offender and the items involved in his case were incapable of firing and historically treated as an exempt from the federal firearm regulation under 27 CFR and 478.11.

[00:02:50]He has been incarcerated since October 21, 2022, serving a 20year federal sentence and I and many of my colleagues believe are disproportionately severe for a case centered on regulatory interpretation rather than harmful conduct. Will you commit to having your agency look into this case and see if anything can be done to address this miscarriage of uh justice?

[00:03:14]>> Sir, I just would like to let you know we have uh been in contact with uh Mr. strate attorney. Uh we have looked at some of the uh the evidence and uh we are working with DOJ. Uh I will tell you I understand DOJ is looking at the case as well for resentencing scheduled in June. Uh with that I don't know the specific facts on the DOJ side but we are working on that as well.

[00:03:37]>> Thank you sir. I yield back. Now, that was just days ago, but at least now we know that the ATF and the current DOJ without Bondi are looking at his case.

[00:03:46]And maybe after, you know, so much pressure from us and now Congress, they'll actually do something about it.

[00:03:52]But this story is huge because you have this this young sailor, right, in the prime of his life sent to federal prison for something that he shouldn't have spent even a single day over. I mean, it's even gotten to the point where people are petitioning the president for a pardon. I know myself and, you know, thousands of other people have formally asked the president for a pardon, at least in some way, but no pardon has been given yet. Guess you need to be part of that political class or maybe a friend of a politician in order to get one of those. Well, here's a story right here. So, after all of those injustices that happened before this, back on April 10th of this year, his attorneys decided to ask the Supreme Court to decide whether the indictment was too vague, whether the courts uh ignored grand jury protections and whether the Second Amendment applies when the government classifies nonfunctional relics as quote firearms. And after he filed his petition on April 10th, it was all downhill from there. and the Supreme Court proved that they don't care and he wasn't important enough to change their minds. Check this out. I want to lay out a uh a short timeline for you. This is what got me so mad and will probably frustrate you, too. So, like I said, he he petitioned the court back on April 10th, right? Well, the court gave until May 18th for responses to be filed, which include any amicus briefs in support of Tate. But right after giving that date uh right after you know providing that timeline on April 28th the court set his case for conference on May 14th. That's four whole days before the deadline for briefs to be filed which looks like they already had their minds made up before even considering any of the arguments that might be made in his favor. I mean, h how do you set a case for conference before even considering all of the facts and testimony? That would be a complete injustice, right? Well, that's exactly what they did. They set that conference date 4 days before people could even get their arguments in. So, last Thursday was the May 14th conference, and this morning, we got the orders list from that conference. And just like that, without even giving it a a second damn thought, Adamiac v. United States was denied and Tate was tossed aside by an indifferent Supreme Court with higher priorities like the only case that was accepted today that was about Title 9 and school employees ability to file lawsuits which must seem way more important than this kid's whole life in their eyes. So, they denied his case even before the date that they provided.

[00:06:34]There were some amicus briefs that were kind of rushed by the uh the 2AF and the NAGR, but those were only filed on May 4th and May 11th. So, you know that uh they didn't even bother to read those because they really don't care and it's it's enough to make your head spin because let's be honest, the Supreme Court only takes a small fraction of cases that get petitioned and their workload could be a lot higher. But when you let a court pick and choose like that, they're not going to choose anything that's difficult. you know, it's it's a game for them and they need to get back to their vacation homes is is just so frustrating. You know, his only hope now is either a pardon, right, directly from the president, which should have already happened, or, you know, maybe the DOJ steps in and corrects the problem. But, I mean, that's it. The Supreme Court, you know, was kind of one of his biggest hopes and and it's gone. Now, if that didn't frustrate you enough, the Supreme Court has also decided to punt all of our Second Amendment cases yet again, which doesn't look good for Duncan Vivont, Gators, Vermont, or Nagrv Lamont. It looks like we're looking at another Snope and Ocean State because that's the same thing that happened to those two a cases last year. I mean, uh, it's been what, over six months of conferences now for Duncan alone, you know? Uh I mean it had its first conference back on December 5th of 2025. You know one thing you have to remember is that tens of millions of people live under these unconstitutional bans and that number is continuously expanding. I mean just take a look at what happened in Virginia, right? Virginia would have never happened if the Supreme Court would have done its job and taken one of these cases early or even taken one of the cases from last year. But again, you know, they'd rather uh argue about whether federal employees can file these lawsuits. The the whole thing is just completely backwards right now. So, it looks like states can infringe on our rights as much as they want, and people can be put in prison for something that's perfectly legal. And the highest court in the land that's charged with upholding the Constitution won't do a single thing about it. So, anyway, I wanted to give you all that update and let you all know what's going on because it's unbelievable what's going on, right? And everybody needs to know about it. Hopefully there'll be, you know, some sort of justice for tape, but apparently that justice isn't going to come today and it's not coming from the Supreme Court.
