[00:00:05]First one is if you want to Google the name Abdul Halim Khan, uh this particular unsavory gentleman has just been given, I think it's about 20 years in prison for 21 um count sexual offenses against uh children and young girls and young women.

[00:00:23]Um this He was a former Imam and he particularly preyed on Muslim girls from the Bangladeshi community.

[00:00:31]He chose them because he thought the shame of what he was going to do to them would stop them from coming forward.

[00:00:36]Now, thankfully, one very brave 17-year-old young girl, um she decided to come forward and tell her teacher, which obviously then went to the police and he was arrested and subsequently he has uh obviously been charged and and sent to prison. Um one thing that they did tell us in the article that I read was that he told one young girl um that she had ovarian cancer.

[00:00:58]He could tell.

[00:01:00]Um the only way to get rid of this ovarian was he could do it. So, she trusted him. So, he put her in his car, uh drove her to a secluded area and raped her.

[00:01:10]So, let's just hope he gets everything that's coming to him in prison. Uh secondly, for you today, I don't know if you've been following the story about the uh remember the two lads, the two brothers, I think from Rochdale, um who uh one of them broke the nose of the female pregnant female police officer at Manchester Airport. All the footage is there. We've seen it. We've watched him, you know, smashing her face in and all the rest of it, blood pouring out of her face.

[00:01:35]But somehow the jury can't reach a verdict. So, because there's not um a verdict, the judge has said that he will accept a majority. How the hell can you sit there as a jury and and not be able to reach a verdict on that? I don't know. So, you just got to hope that the majority uh have seen common sense.

[00:01:55]Um but there is a chance they're going to walk away from it, which would you be shocked with? Um, uh let's see. But most importantly today is actually the the anniversary of Operation Chastise for those that don't know what that is. That is um 617 Squadron who were known as the Dambusters led by Wing Commander Guy Gibson cuz that's what I I believe he was a Wing Commander at the time who dropped the famous Barnes Wallace bouncing bomb on several dams in the Ruhr Valley from the across the night of the 16th 17th of May 1945.

[00:02:31]Um Yeah, just because I like that kind of thing.

[00:02:36]So yeah, it is the the anniversary of Operation Chastise. So we should celebrate that. Obviously no kid will probably get taught about those kinds of things in school, but any kids do get to see this, that's what it's all about.
