[00:00:01]Okay, let's turn to the big story that's breaking at the moment. E Palani Sami, the former Tamil Nad chief minister and AIDMK leader has now met a group of AIDMK MLAs in Puducherry. More than 25 MLAs are camping in resorts in Puducherry amidst reports that the AIDMK could even split and back actor politician Vijay. Those claims have been denied by Palani Swami. Meanwhile, the DMK has passed a resolution authorizing Stalin to take decisions for a stable government in Tamil Nadu. BCK left parties are expected to take a decision whether they will support actor politician Vijay's EVK tomorrow. So, lots happening in Tamil Nadu even as the suspense continues. Will actor politician Vijay become chief minister or not? Joining me at the top is Axita Nand Gopal. She's live in Chennai.

[00:00:55]Apurva J Chandran is in Puru Cherry where remember those uh resort politics are going on but Axita what are you picking up this afternoon Vijay went met the governor governor said show me the numbers and I'll swear you in as of now Congress supporting him what are you picking up will the left parties and VCK be able to take a decision tomorrow and take Vijay over the halfway line >> you know there are a lot of questions Rajep right now being asked on why the WCK and the left have been stalling for so long. What stopped them from taking a decision yesterday? What stopped them from taking a decision today?

[00:01:34]There's no clarity just yet. But we can tell you that the VCK and the left did meet with Stalin today. And that's also led to a lot of questions about whether they're planning to then express loyalty to the DMK alliance and not switch over.

[00:01:48]In case it doesn't happen, Rajep and the WCK and the left say, "Look, we're going to stay with the DMK alliance." That puts the TV in a real situation here because they don't have a plan B ultimately with them allying with the Congress and reaching 112 right now.

[00:02:04]They just shot and the PMK is not a party. Uh TVK has confirmed to us that they've not reached out to either the PMP or AIMK. Essentially the suggestion is that any party that's part of the NDA is a nogo at this point for TVK. So they're really putting all their eggs in one basket hoping that the VCK and left come on board. We're hearing that by tomorrow evening there'll be clarity.

[00:02:27]Vijay is hoping that he will be sworn in and that taking ceremony which has been planned now for the last many days will ultimately happen on Saturday. But that is if a big if there if the governor gives the node.

[00:02:41]>> Okay. uh we we'll wait and see what happens what the what the left parties and the VCK do. I'll come to the numbers in a moment but sources now telling us that there's a bit of drama going on in Purucher because E Palani Swami has asked his MLAs there to maintain resilience. He has affirmed there are no talks with the DMK as was alleged reiterated that Vijay doesn't have a majority and in all likelihood will need AIDMK support. has instructed aidkers not to speak with TVK or be swayed by them. Uh remember all of this is coming among among reports that maybe the AIDMK could split. Apurwa you've been there in those resorts speaking to these MLAs.

[00:03:23]Are these MLAs keen to join hands with Vijay a section of the AIDMK MLAs? Is that true? That's why they've been packed off to this resort in Puru Cherry.

[00:03:38]Well Ratri in all likelihood that has been the case here 25 plus MLAs who are staying here in these resorts there.

[00:03:46]That is why there was an intervention that was called by Edaparati Kaliswami.

[00:03:50]He personally came down here led by you know Arai Kapaliswami KP Muniswami SP Wumani who had arrived here set the MLAs here in order got them sorted into their hotel rooms and then left to Chennai where he had went and met with EPS explained that this is the situation these MLAs are in all likelihood uh in touch with TVK and they are looking to be inclined towards joining TV. Now Era Palin Swami has arrived here in Puduchi.

[00:04:18]He has had a talk that had gone on lasted for almost over 1 hour. He has assured them that they need to maintain resilence. He's in fact told them the next 4 days it's going to be difficult for them to remain silent. Be away from TVK. But he said that there will be good news that they will expect in the next 4 days and that's why until then keep mom don't talk with media. Don't talk to TBK. Don't talk to anybody else.
