MASSIVE Summer Haul: Wide Width Sandals, Amazon, Walmart & JcPenney PLUS SIZE Finds

So, if that is your ste, go ahead and subscribe because we would love to keep you here. So, let's go ahead and get into today's video, y'all. We are going to talk about some plus-size finds for this summer. For this summer, we don't have time to be hot. Ain't nobody got time for that. I just done a little shopping. I was like, "Okay, let me share some of the things that I'm going to keep, some things I may return because it may not fit for me, but it may be a great fit for you guys." So, I'm going to show all the things that I got from not only Amazon, but also Walmart and J. C. Penney. I'm sorry y'all. Amazon is Amazon for the newbies.

[00:00:44]Sy, okay, that is what I call Amazon because you know, you got to spice it up a little bit. You can't be ruggling in life. You got to do a little rous. You know what I'm saying? I'm not.

[00:01:23]I'm not trying to keep y'all for a long time, but a good time. So, let's go ahead and get into the wide width sandals that I found on Amazon. They're just a few, but that is all we need, [music] okay? Cuz we wanted to work with a lot of things in our closet. We don't need a whole bunch of stuff. We just need good stuff, okay? So, let's go ahead and get into the wide width shoes.

[00:01:42]Now, if you are a wide width, wide foot batty, then if you're going to shop on a mazon, I would say go with cushionire be your first bet because they do have a lot of stylish, more trendy styles for the girls with the wider feet. Let me start off with these designer inspired sandals. Now, I have black, conac, now I have white, and I already had green, but these are my new pair that I just bought because I was like, I I really need some white shoes. I remember growing up and being like, "Ah, white shoes are tacky." And now I am a millennial 36 year old and I'm like, "I need white sandals. I love me a white shoe." So, summer screams white. Amen.

[00:02:21]But these are for you're more mid-tier from your traditional shoe sizing to just you need something a little wider but not that wide wide. I would say cushioner would be your best fit. These also give way after a while, meaning they stretch quite a I wouldn't say quite a bit. They stretch to your feet.

[00:02:39]So, if you are a little wider, if you can see when I'm filming this, my foot is swollen. My right foot is swollen because it's my period time, girl. And that's just what my foot does when it swells. That's the foot that I injured in high school and it just swells. You do your thing, you you you get out here, you're jumping all high, you you get your degrees, and you think you know everything, and then your foot starts swelling. So, that's just what happens with that foot when I'm on my period.

[00:03:02]But, it's a good time for me to actually try these on and show them with you guys with the swollen foot and the nonswelling foot. So, it doesn't have to do too much compromising with the naan, but it also does stretch and help with my swollen foot because that one is wider as well. [music] We don't have the same copy and paste feet. Everybody's feet feet are not the same. Even your two feet are not the same. They're sisters. They're not twins, they're sisters. But anyh who, these are good.

[00:03:28]And they they do stretch a little bit so that my uh larger foot can give way and be comfortable. And it's not too wide so that my foot that is not as large also feels comfortable. so it's not sliding all the way through the front of the shoe. So, they come in many colors. This is a good affordable option for you if you're looking for a cute, affordable designer inspired wide width [music] sandal. Another option also from Cushionire that still has the same kind of front, but it is this thicker sole.

[00:03:57]So, as you can see on the last one, it was thinner, more of a more dainty shoe, more dainty sandal. You know what I'm saying? for the girls that want to look in it. It's a mirror. This one is more of a chunky sandal and it still gives you that designer inspired top, but I will say the top of this one is a lot more pliable, meaning it has a lot more stretch, a lot more give. So that if you have a wider foot or you swell at the top of your feet like mine, then you have more room at the top of this of this shoe cuz it is softer and definitely more pliable. I will say my foot sat really well before it got to the rise. The edge you see that it is lifted. It has a little rim around the edge. Sometimes some of these shoes are just not wide enough and your foot is sitting right on top and that is very com very uncomfortable sitting right on top of this rim. But my foot sits very very well in the rim. [music] If you get this shoe and it's sitting right on top of this rim, that mean it's not wide enough. You are going to be so uncomfortable. Take it back. Don't even walk outside with them cuz you don't want it to have that stuff on the bottom and they're like, "You wore them so we can't take them back." No, just go ahead and take them off your feet, put them back in the box, and send them back because they will not be comfortable.

[00:05:08]You want your foot to be inside of the rim. If it's on top, no. If it's kind of up against, then you can probably get away with it and it still be comfortable. But I will say this shoe, even though it's chunky, is very light.

[00:05:21]It's not a heavy shoe. It's very airy and it's cute. It has this little pattern on the edge, which I think is really cute. Nice little touch. [music] I'm saying it's giving Steve Madden, but put it on a mazon. [laughter] So, these are a really good buy for the girls that have a little bit more wider foot, but also swells at the top or your foot is thicker. This is another option as well. And the last pair I would consider these, they're similar if you're looking for this style of shoe.

[00:05:50]It comes in comes in conac, white, and black. But this is more of an extra wide extra long shoe. So I cannot keep these.

[00:06:01]But I will show you a we will show you a cutaway over there. Baby, my foot my regular foot swallowed up this other shoe. I cannot I cannot. So I definitely have to return these. But this I feel like this is a great option for the girls that have extra wide feet. And then if you need a lot more length in the back, this is your option, too. Sometimes we have a medier heel and you just need a little bit more length in the back, a little bit more length on the sides or more width on the sides, then you definitely have this option of this shoe. So, it comes, like I said, in black, [music] white, and conac. And I don't remember who the seller is, but that don't matter. We'll put the QR codes and links and stuff like that in the description and on screen, but all of that so that you can know where to buy it. But I'm definitely returning these returning these. I got a regular 10. And you can see the extra space in the back of my heel to let you know that this bad boy is a little longer. But that does mean that it can fit someone that can goes up to a 12 or 13. Have options if a Mazan stops at 11. And then that would [music] actually work for someone a size 12 or a size 13. So just a heads up. If you're someone that needs those special sizing, this may be your girl. But she going over here cuz I need to return her. You know how we do. We do a lot of Walmart shopping. So, I'm going to go ahead and put a QR code over here to my storefront. My Walmart storefront. I love me a W-ally World. Me and a Wally World ain't ever had a problem with one another. So, I will put that there and keep it like I I shop my dishes from Walmart, my cookware from Walmart. We actually need to do a homeware haul. H an affordable Walmart homeware haul because I got quite a bit from Walmart.

[00:07:42]Probably next week. I don't know. We'll see. But anyh who, we're going to go ahead into the Walmart section of this vlog and show all of the new things that I got that are summer plus-size friendly Walmart finds. And not even plus-size friendly. [music] They're plus-siz. My bad. But they're plus-size summer friendly Walmart finds. So, let's go ahead and get into it because we don't try to keep you for a long time. Okay, y'all. This is a one piece swimsuit that comes with a cover at the bottom. It's a builtin wrapped [music] swimsuit.

[00:08:12]Honestly, when you put it on, to me, it looks a little bit more like athleisure in com atthleisure combined with a swimsuit. So, if you're somebody that doesn't want to pack a lot of extra things, you can bring this one thing in several colors and it can it [music] can act as your cover up while you're not at the pool. I don't think this is something that looks like [music] a swimsuit when you're walking in back and forth into stores and stuff like that and they ask you to have some kind of cover up on because it's a familyfriendly place. But this is a cute more conservative swimsuit. I would say that I am an 1820 and I bought a 2X [music] and a 3X. The 3X I got in Hold your M.

[00:08:53]I got the 3X in the green that you guys are seeing in the cutaway and that one did feel a bit bigger. So, I would definitely say a 2X would have been my perfect size. And it fits me a little bit better at the top of my waist. It's a little bit more snug, more fitted, exactly what I need. And it also allows you to cross it in the back here. You have the ability to unhook these straps and then put it in the cross in the back or you can keep it just straight back.

[00:09:20]So, adds a little razledazzle. It has a tie on the side with this wrap and it it just gives you a silhouette that's more comfortable. If you're worried about your tummy or you're just looking for something that's a bit more conservative for family vacation or you're a bit more conservative, honey, that's not my business. This is something that you can add to your um swimsuit options for summer. So, I got them in three different colors. I will say I love the blue on my skin much better than all the other ones, but the blue and the brown I think are my favorite. So, those are the ones I'm definitely going to keep. Also, I got this denim dress from Free Assembly. The one that fits me best was the 2X. Now, with Free Assembly, because their izing runs a little smaller, I do tend to size up with them. With the scoop line at Walmart, I tend to size down because they do run a little larger. But, I got the 2X. That's the one that fits the best. I got several sizes cuz I wasn't quite sure, but it is more of a little drop waist type dress.

[00:10:19]It is. It is something that's longer.

[00:10:21]It's closer to a maxi. So, if you need something that is denim, a little bit conservative, kind of covering, but family friendly, just something that's cute that you can throw on with whatever, this is a good option for you.

[00:10:32]And again, if you're going to do any free assembly items, you would want to size up. If you're like a true 18, 20 plus size girl up and up, definitely size up with free assembly [music] cuz they usually don't have as much stretch as scoop. So, that's what I got in this dress. I thought it was really cute.

[00:10:50]Wanted to share it with you guys. Now, when I bought dresses, when I just wanted to see what kind of dresses Walmart had at the time, I was so excited about this one because I love a good tie waist now, especially when you can add a little detail on the side, but also cinch in my waist at the height because I'm a topheavy girl and then I also have larger belly, my waist gets very hidden. So, anything that can help accentuate it ex accentuate accentuate ex anything that can help bring it out.

[00:11:18]I always want to navigate too because it helps me look the way that I want to look when I'm walking outside. And I thought this dress was so cute. It just looks regular on the hanger, honestly.

[00:11:26]And on the model, it looked cute. I was like, "Oh, let me see how it looks on me." Love Adorbs. I got it in a 1X. I would definitely say that is what I need to get in Terra and Sky. They're the true plus-size brand that Walmart has when I'm like true plus size. You're going to get your size and probably be like, "Let me size down." Run's a little larger. So, I got a 1618 and I'm an 1820. So, I went down just a little bit.

[00:11:51]And I think this is perfect. I don't think I should have gotten the zero. I think this Terra and Sky goes up to a four or 5X, don't get me wrong, but this is such a cute option. It comes in other colors as well. I think I I should have gotten it in blue. I think it does come in blue. Let me not lie. I go up to a 5X and it comes in that deep navy blue, but it didn't have the stripes. I would have wanted the stripes on that one. But it it comes in I want to say four or five different color options. And I got the 1X in this size reference. Again, I'm 5'6 for height reference. So, you can see where what it looks like on me and the height of it. And really cute, very easy dress to throw on and go. This is another Terra and Sky dress option that I got from Walmart. I got this one in a 1X, but I do feel like I should have sized up on this one based on the comfortableness, based on the comfort in my bust. I do feel like I would have liked a little bit more comfort in that one. But typically, Terra and Sky you can size down with because they're they run a little larger. Like I said, they're the true plus size. So, this one I got in a 1618, which is the 1X. It does go up to a 5X. And I like the smoking at the top because it again makes it easier for me to have something fitted up here because I have a larger bust and it hits me at the top of my waist while also [music] accentuating my waist and my my hips and my belly in the way that I'd like. So, it's not cupping or anything like that. But cute summer dress. Love this color option that it has. And it does have other color options for you. And I love how thick the strap is, so I don't have to wear a strapless bra if I don't want to worry about people seeing my straps or anything like that. So, I think it's very cute, easy maxi style dress for you to throw on and go, but be easy for you to style as well.

[00:13:36]I said maxi, y'all. I'm sorry. This is a medi dress. And it it comes in this color pattern as well as green and cream. And this isn't a white. This is more of a cream background, khaki. So that's the color that you guys can check out with this this dress. I actually feel like the green would pop really really well. Also, other dress that I got, but I think it's in the dirty clothes. [laughter] I wore that one very fast. It's this emerald medi dress. It [music] comes in three different color options and it's selling out super fast. I got this in a 2X and I would say I could have sized down just a little bit in that one. I could have gotten it in a 1X, but it has the smoking again right at the height of my waist so that you can have the accentuation. I'm sorry. [laughter] I have no chill. [gasps] You can uh actually bring out my waist and then not be hidden by my breasts because they're so large. Um but it comes in brown and also this printed navy um option that that is actually fully in stock [laughter] now that I look at it. But the brown and the green, um, the brown is fully in stock thankfully, but that green, baby, they was snatching that bad boy up. That emerald, it looks really cute on and it's like a true true green.

[00:14:49]So, that is a cute little midi dress option that you can throw on and go style really easily with some statement heels or have your hair up and it just looks really cute. So, and I did get a few tops from Walmart that I want to go through with you guys real quick. So, I got this top from Walmart. this mocked black and white printed top from Walmart that you guys can see over here in the cutaway of how it fits. I do have a similar top that I got from the scoop line that I was like, I really like the way this top fits, so let me get something else. And usually if I like the way one thing fits, I want to get several options of it because you just never know. You want to change things up in your wardrobe if it fits you well.

[00:15:27]But I will say this one does make me look a little older than I'd like. But this may be a great option for someone, so I wanted to share it. It's fully smocked at the body. And then you have these puff sleeves here. And you can also drop them down if you want to show a little clavicle. You know what I'm saying? Show a little top and have a little glow. That is an option. This is the Terra and Skyline. And I am wearing a 2X in this top. I could have went down a little bit, but it just depends on how you want it to fit. I will say this top is a little longer than the top that I got from Scoop. And I wanted to share that have that option as well because you don't always want something that's cropped right at the top of your jeans.

[00:16:08]Sometime you just [music] want it to come down a little longer. So this is another option for you guys if you're looking for something like that. Um and I would say depending on how you want it to fit either size down or true to size.

[00:16:20]I think I I think I had room to size down but I would have wanted it to be a little not too too snug. So I think 2X with this top worked fine. This purple top I got in a 1X and I will say that it is a decent size top. Again, something else that accentuates my waist and it comes longer than the top of my pants because I know not everybody is about that crop life. Completely understand.

[00:16:46]But it is it does have like some ruffle on the sleeve or ruffle on the strap so that you can still wear easily wear strapped bra without having to wear a strapless bra and it constantly show your bra. Um bra strap. I know that bothers some people. cute little easy top to wear. It comes in other colors as well and something that's summer gives you a little pop but also gives you something easy to add to your wardrobe that can be styled up or down. So definitely if you're going to like the summer cookouts and graduations and stuff like that that you have something to wear outside while it is warm and not have to think too hard about how to style it. So that is another option. And finally, girl, go ahead and about Hold [laughter] on. And finally, this is actually my favorite top that I got just recently from Walmart. And I will say I definitely needed to size down on this one. I got a 2X. It's a 2022. I'm an 1820. And I'm just trying out different sizes with Terra and Sky because I know there are the true plus-size and they typically run larger, but not everything you want to fit large. You know what I'm saying? But love the fact that it has the tie on the side and it can help accentuate your waist. That is the It's just It's like the simple things, but honestly can make a whole outfit a whole outfit. Definitely would have gotten a 1X in this. Love that it comes in different colors. Let me check. This one comes in four different colors. It comes in a nautical blue stripe. Also, this solid white, like a peach and green. So, I like the nautical option and the white option for me based on what I already have in my wardrobe. So, again, I would say size down. And [music] the extent because the shirt itself is built square, there's no shape in the shirt itself as [music] you can see. So this is definitely necessary. The fact that there's no shape in the shirt itself, size down so that when you do have that thing tied that it accentuates your shape even more because it is a little if that's your thing. If you don't want it to be more fitted, then I understand.

[00:18:46]Keep keep size up. But so that you're not drowning.

[00:18:51]definitely size down if you want it to accentuate your shape even more. So, just a little tidbit. If there's no curve in the item, as you can see, you gonna have to create one or uh size down, add a belt, put a little strap, something to help show the fact that you have a shape because these plus-siz clothes can make us look real loosey goosey if we just put on something straight and they just want us to be hidden, honey. And it actually makes everything look worse. So, let's move on. Now, let's go over the items that I got from J C Penney, which are perfect for girls night out. So, I don't wear a ton of halters. So, when I saw this rooouched halter dress and I was like, it has a ton of rouching in the front.

[00:19:32]Yes, thank you so much. Cuz usually halter dresses are very just like very sucking you in. And for me, I don't like the way that looks across my midsection.

[00:19:41][music] So, it's not like I'm trying to not look big. I'mma look big, okay? I just want to look big in the best way that makes me feel comfortable showing up. Okay, so that is something that I think about when I'm getting those dresses and when it had all of the rushing in the front.

[00:19:55]This is a part of the Ashley Graham collection, which her entire line typically runs [music] large. And I'm talking one to two sizes. Nine times out of 10, two sizes larger, which to me makes it an even better line because it more people are able [music] to ex have it. It's more accessible to other plus-sized women and more sizes are able to shop from it. To me, I like that. So, I I got this dress in a I sized up on it because it is rouching and I think I went with the size up because I didn't want it to be too fitted. But I will say I was thinking about, oh my god, am bra showing is my bra showing in the back the whole time.

[00:20:40]So, I like this dress. I think you can definitely get your size or size up depending on how you want it [music] to fit you, but I would normally get a one or zero in her line. And I think I got a two and I think I liked how the two fit.

[00:20:54]So, this item may be okay to size up in if you have an apple shape or apron belly and you want to conceal a little bit. This is something that you can try.

[00:21:03]I did buy two. So, I actually I'm glad I said that because I just remembered I need to take one back. [laughter] Loved how it looked. It was very comfortable even though I was like I didn't have to be constantly [music] thinking about if my the back was bringing coming down because it wasn't very comfortable dress very very cute dress to wear. Love the color. Very easy to style in a monochromatic look or in just variations of patterns and colors or whatever. So this is what I wore to a steakhouse when we went out to Charlotte. So that dress was very cute, very comfortable.

[00:21:35]Definitely staying with me for a while.

[00:21:37]The next dress that I wore was the black and gray crochet fringe dress. I was so excited about this dress when I saw it and I'm still excited about this dress.

[00:21:47][laughter] The only I'm just like, "Oh my god, this is so cute." So, I got this in a [music] 1X and it is very cute on. It has a ton of stretch. Crochet typically is heavier. So, I got it in a 1X because it will typically [music] stretch out and I didn't want it to stretch out and I lose my shape in the dress. So, [music] as the night went on, it did stretch out a little bit, but in the way that I expected it to. That's only because I've dealt with crochet dresses before and know that it can stretch [music] and hang longer. Then that makes it straight and my shape is completely lost. So, I made sure to stick with my size. So, I got this in a 1X. Like I said, love the fringe at the bottom. It makes it very playful, very cute. I love Got so many compliments on this dress. You can put it with flats, you can put it with the heels that I had on. And I'm 5'6 for height reference. So the this is where the that's where the fringe stops on me with the heels. But I think it's still a cute dress to wear with flats. And even if the fringes are dragging the ground a little bit, like I [laughter] [gasps] don't get me started, okay? I really want her to bring this crochet pattern in several other colors because that gray and black is cute. Summer is here. I really want something bright and like purple and orange and something that I can wear that same style in a bright summer vacation or something like that. So that makes it very very exciting wearing that bright color. But this is something that you can wear [music] in different occasions. I wore this out to dinner. We went to we hopped from place to place. You can wear this out on a casual day. Like I said, girls night out, date night. There's different areas you can wear this dress. It fits a lot of different occasions. And last but not least is the dress that I have on.

[00:23:31]Now, I will say that I should have sized down in this one. I should have gone with the 16. This is the 18. It only comes in the the single sizes, but because like I said, she the the collection typically runs larger. This is also the Ashley Graham collection.

[00:23:47]Sizing down would have been great in this. There is a ton of stretch in this dress and it is a little heavier. So, because of that, it hangs longer in the strap. The strap is longer. It comes down a little deeper. That ain't never made me. No, never mind. I like a little cleave. That ain't never bothered me, honey. Matter of fact, that's, you know, a little decorative bra. But love this denim. And I love the split in this denim dress. H so cute. I love how high the split comes up. I will say that you definitely need to iron or steam this dress. Throwing it in the dryer ain't going to work. Throwing it in the dryer trying to knock out those wrinkles on the bottom ain't going to work. Also, and because of how the dress is a little heavier and it's starting to fall down.

[00:24:29]Had I gotten the 16, [music] it would have been more fitted and sit better to where it didn't look as wrinkled at the bottom. You feel what I'm saying? So, very cute denim dress that I think is a very easy thing to style. I threw them on with these uh Steve Madden denim shoes that I had when I went to an event and it was just so cute. I got so many compliments on my shoes. I got so many compliments on this dress. They thought it was from the designer of the event that I went to because she also has a denim collection and it's J C Penney.

[00:25:00]Not my light going out. We going to keep rocking. It's J C Penney and it's like 40 something bucks. So that designer was selling things for like $250 for a dress. This is like 40 buck dress and you can look like you are wearing a high-end designer for mere fractions of the price. Amen. That's how we like.
