[00:00:00]The 10-year-old girl who was found murdered near Sulur in Coimbatore district on Friday had been subjected to sexual assault before murder.

[00:00:10]Apart from this, there's more information flowing our way that police have arrested two suspects, Karthik and Mohan, in connection with the abduction and murder case. The police have stated that Karthik fractured his right arm and right leg while attempting to escape. He was admitted to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital. Mohan Raj was produced before the Sulur Magistrate Court and was sent to judicial remand. So, Bailey, these are the updates that are coming in. Two have been arrested for abduction and murder, but now we have the Inspector General of Police confirming that yes, there has been sexual assault before the murder.

So, the police uh the Sulur police who had formed teams have managed to arrest uh two culprits identified um as um Mohan um um and uh they they have been uh arrested uh and one of them uh while trying to escape, he had fractured his right arm and his right leg uh while the other one has been uh secured uh secured intact, and he was uh in fact produced before the magistrate and remanded to uh judicial custody. So, these uh two um uh I say culprits of uh uh has has been neighbors of uh um this um victim uh the survivor is what so I I beg your pardon, the victim uh is what uh you know, police sources say, and the IGP has uh kind of uh concluded that there there there is indeed a sexual assault on this victim.
