IEA head Faith Birol reaffirms world facing biggest energy crisis in history

[00:00:14]And what is happening now uh shows that the uh the uh the unfortunately uh we were right. The oil markets, gas markets are going through big difficulties.

[00:00:28]Oil prices now uh when I looked last time over 120 dollars, which is putting a lot of pressure on many countries.

[00:00:36]In the In addition to oil and gas, fertilizers, which is very important for developing countries, petrochemicals, sulfur, they're all interrupted. So, our world is facing a major energy and uh economic uh challenge. And uh as International Energy Agency, we an organization that puts the energy security as the key topic.
