Hello everyone and welcome back to Proato with the new DLC. OP pay no gain update. I'm actually pretty sure it's just an update. I don't think it was a DLC, but there is a DLC coming soon. You can wishlist now. Very exciting. So, it's been a while since we played potato. Well, not for me, but for you guys.
I have been trying to beat this and I just can't. I think the point is maybe I shouldn't try to do endless because we really just need to get to level 20. So, what comes with this new update? There is a new mode. If we go over here, you'll see. I'll pick anything. So, you can just see the There is nightmare difficulty. Enemy damage plus 60% to enemy health plus 60% to enemy speed plus 10%. It makes those little ghosts like really really hard to avoid.
Everything from danger five as well. So, we get all of this, which we have in fact beat danger five on a lot of potatoes.
We get environmental projectiles that appear. Those are the worst. I've died to those so many times. An obscuring fog, which also makes the screen kind of blurry. And you know, like you can only see like this tiny little circle in the middle. Guys, in between sleepless nights, you might be wondering what the hell has happened to me this week. I tell you what, I don't even want to talk about it, okay? All I know is I'm just so happy to be playing. I'm happy to be playing Bro. Um, but you know, I'm just happy to be live. Frankie, hey Tater. It's potato time. It really is. It really is. I I will tell you I've been trying. I've been trying.
The highest I've gotten. By the way, how is the sound? Is it too loud? Cuz I know the the music can be kind of crazy, but let me know. The highest I've gotten was with the doctor. The doctor got to level 18. Wave 18. So, we didn't get to wave 20. At wave 20, if we are able to pass it with this new mode, uh this nightmare mode, we will unlock the hardest potato that there is. Now, you might notice that I have a couple of unlocked uh potatoes that I have not unlocked.
That's fine. Um it's fine. I don't care about them, but this is the one I think win a run in nightmare difficulty because I haven't I haven't unlocked them. The potato is a oneshot potato, guys. You can't get hit at all. This potato is going to be impossible. It does come with a tardig grade or whatever it's called, which is like one item that allows you to take one hit and it absorbs one hit. So, technically, it's a twoshot potato instead of a one shot potato. But you'll see when I play, I could not win with this potato. I mean, it's going to take us a million tries, but we will win eventually. Um, but I don't know about nightmare mode.
Nightmare mode. The potatoes just last so long. Uh, let me tell you what I've tried. Okay. Uh, let me say let me finish saying hi. Mets fan. Hello. She has been obsessed with this game. I have been. He said, "I even caught her earlier teaching our baby how to play, guys." Okay. So, listen. This is what happened. She fell asleep on me. Okay.
And so, I was like, "Ooh, let me get a game of potato in because she's the transfer hasn't been working. When I transfer her to a crib, she wakes up immediately." Okay. So, I said, "Fuck it. I'm just going to keep her on me, right? She's gonna take the snap, damn it. And so she was taking this nap. And I was like, "Let me potato while she's napping." It was great. I was potatoing.
I was potatoing hard. And all of a sudden, she caught me. She woke up. She caught me. And so then I was just like, you know, I was like explain to her what I was trying to do with the run. And then at the next round, I died. So I have been coping that I have been doing bad because I'm not focused. Okay. So we're just going to we're going to just pretend that that's why. Hi, Kennador.

Okay, over the last week. Easily. It's the game that I've been playing just like, you know, whenever I have any time. I've died on r on round three before. Okay. Uh round 18 is the round that I've gotten the highest. So almost 20. We almost made it with a doctor. So I think if we're going to try again, we should try with the doctor. You know, it's the closest I've been.
It could happen. It could happen to us.
Um I tried everything. I tried even my best potatoes. I've tried lucky potato and pacifist potato. Those were an absolute loser. Potato. I did not make it. Um, and I've tried ghost potato, but for some reason I thought that ethereal weapons would make sense. And now I'm thinking that that's probably kind of stupid because I only need to get to round 20. It's not like I'm doing endless. So, I don't know if that's even a good idea. Um, I've tried old potato with engineering. I also tried the engineer potato uh with the with the wrenches, you know, for the turrets. Uh, that didn't work. I tried uh multitasker potato with the wrenches trying to say because if I lose damage for every weapon I have, it doesn't really matter if your weapons are wrenches, right?
Because really the turrets are doing the damage, not you. So, I was hoping that that would work. I got hit by a ball and died. So, this potato's dead. Um uh what other potato tried? I tried the bull potato. That didn't work. Even though the bull potato did pretty well, realistically, I've tried the lich potato. The lich potato did okay. It It did not do that bad, but I didn't win as you could tell. I tried this new potato, the beast master. It It can have pets. I did horrible with this. We're not trying this one today. Absolutely not. Uh if you have any ideas, please let me know.
I have gone crazy. I have tried basically every engineering type um potato. So, I think today though, I think maybe we try the multitasker either with engineer or ranged. Okay.
Maybe like some range that shoots like a different thing off of the attack so that the damage multiplier doesn't really matter that much. Oh my god. Tri the baked potato. I want some baked potato so bad. Human mits. I don't think you're going to avoid her following in your footsteps. Oh my goodness. Let's hope not. But so whoever has said yes, thank you very much for the trust. But I'll be real. We're dying tonight, guys.

I just don't know what's not affected by damage. And I know that the wrenches are not affected by damage. So, let's start with that. Wow. Wow. Wow. Get ready to die, guys. And since we only have one weapon right now, we don't have any damage um nullifier. Now, you might notice that these are like the the little red dots.
Those are new projectiles. They happen on certain rounds. You can see it on the screen.
Uh you'll see it in a second. 53. That's not great. Oh, I could just go engineering. Let's go. Um so you can see it on the on the next screen.
Uh just green. Okay. Well, definitely taking the wrench. Let's just try to get as many but I could get materials. The green materials first. Materials first.
And we're going to lock in the explosion. Now you might wonder why are you locking the explosion, you crazy woman. It's because the highest range does explosion damage. Okay. Uh so you can see it here. So in round one you get the the stupid environmental there's environmental balls. Are you kidding me? Round two there's nothing. Round three there's nothing. Uh round four environmental balls. Round five there's a shadow which you'll see it's horrible. Uh round six more environmental balls. Round seven you got a breather. Round eight, more amount of rental balls. Round nine, you get clear. I don't know if these are random. I know like the bosses might not be random. I don't know. But realistically, I don't know if these are random, but it does tell you. So you you screwdrivers. I could do the screwdrivers, too, I believe. As always, thank you guys. Yeah. So, I've actually uh these don't look that bright, the balls usually, but I've upped it cuz I was having a hard time seeing them. Uh, so they added this new pet that is I think a uh elemental pet and so he puts burning on everything and it is so hard to see and he charges things and it is like borderline impossible to see the balls from the from the pet. So I just I ended up changing it for that and o that's a lot that I didn't pick up. Um, so I I think at the end of the day, do we go for armor?
No, we're going for engineering. Oh, we're all in.
Forget the scepter, right? That's not going to help us. Uh, it's only going to do nine damage anyway. But it could give us health.
I mean, it won't because it'll do so little damage, but it could.
Okay, let's just gamble it. Let's just get, you know, let's see what happens cuz we could barely afford it. So, the if it ends up giving us like three health, it'll probably be worth it moneywise and we'll sell it. I mean, it won't, but you know, you never know, believe.
This is the foggy round, by the way.

The fog is pretty cool, but I just realized that engineering is kind of OP for the fog because as you can see, I can see where my turrets are.
Like my turrets don't have um visibility problems.
So, ordinarily it'll be just like a little circle around you, but because of your turrets, I think elemental also does the same thing. Ooh, do I want health? I mean, really, I have to stay alive.
Sure, we'll do this. Um, crit and 20% chance to heal one when killing an enemy with a crit. Do turrets crit?
Oo, that's a question we must ask ourselves. And that's a question we must answer ourselves.

But we only have 3% crit. So Oh, but this gives us 5% crit. Okay, I'll lock it. I'll lock unlock it. It's fine. This has given us no stats.

This was um a failed experiment, I think. All right, let's focus on only the the engineering.
It was a cool idea, but I never got to kill two mob 20 mobs with it. So, yeah, that's usually what happens with the ethereal weapons. I think the problem is that I'm obsessed with Ethereal weapons and they're always so trash for me. I mean, they're just not good in every in every build, but I'm just obsessed with the fact that you can get them endless for some reason. Like endless um well, I guess it's not endless. They do have like a like an effective amount of health that they can get per level.
And in fact, at the earliest level, I I think the health one doesn't even get a point. The only ones that get a point is the armor one and not the armor, the damage one and the um and the attack speed one. Those do get a point.
I knew it. I knew I ran into the wall.
Guys, this is how it's going to go. I mean, it was going so bad. That was wave seven and I was doing no damage. It's okay. We got to try the doctor again.
Okay, the doctor is our guy. He's our boy. All right, we got to level 18 with him. We can do it again. Now, what are the bad things about the doctor? Well, there's no rule that you can only have medical weapons, but your attack speed is very low and your attack speed with medical weapons is increased by 200%.
Uh, so basically, oh my god, I thought I was going to die from two shots. Uh, so basically it it has Okay, I'm going to go with damage. Um, it has a ch Oh no, I didn't get a medical weapon.
You don't have to use it, but as you can see, the cool down on the other weapons is going to be ridiculously bad. Okay, cuz you only have attack speed with medical weapons. You get a little bit of regeneration, you get a little bit of harvesting. Gray, hooray. HP regeneration modifications are increased by 100%. Which is great, but our weapons also heal us. So really, it's all about the healing, but you don't get any armor. Basically, your armor is going to be very low. So that means things are going to hit you pretty hard. So you're going to have to heal them up pretty fast so you don't die immediately. As you can tell, minus 100% attack speed.
You can start chunking at this over time, but really do not do not use anything other than medical weapons at the start. I think you're just going to die. And I'm not even going to get this in because of the XP gain. It's too early to take that hit, I think. Yeah, medical gun. Ooh, 10 lak though. Oo, [ __ ] No, I'll take the another meal gun and I will take the ugly tooth when I can. Do you have a good computer? Then try Teto Mage with only screwdrivers. Okay.
What does it do?
Is it elemental damage?
I'll read it after this. So, if we don't pass on the on the doctor, I will try that.
It's just the doctor is my dream.
I I did the best with him, but that might have been just being lucky. I think we we breed out and take harvesting.
Okay, we're getting kind of unlucky. Uh we need all these. Ooh, I think maybe we do take the cake. Three health.
We need to take as much health as possible.
But we are going to need a really nice amount of damage or we're dead.
So, with the doctor, the most likely level to die in is level 11. How do I know, trust me, you can survive before that quite a bit because of the healing, but level 11, they start hitting a lot harder and all of a sudden it's not so easy. Uh, I'm going to recycle the explosion. Um, I'll take the luck. We are being so greedy right now. But I think I will take the range damage for this. Uh I don't think we can sacrifice armor because we already don't have any and it takes 50% more to get an armor upgrade. I will sacrifice one damage. Ooh, medical weapon. These are actually so good that I got those. Um and I could sacrifice some more um damage for luck, but we are going to need a lot of damage. So let's just for now stay with this. Each mine's a structure and most structures you have, they quickly become Oh, I see. Cuz technically the mines count as structures and then you could keep getting you could get like little turrets and stuff as well. Wow. Okay, I'll read it after this. But that sounds very interesting, intriguing.
A lot of the things that I thought would be easy to do this challenge with have not been that easy. But I think it's not because of the challenge. I'll be real.
I think it's my movement. I'm out of shape.
So, we'll see. Um, am I greedy enough?
It's like like do I need more harvesting or wave four? I'm just going to go with health.

It's not just like from left to right.

There's like squiggly ones. There's some that intersect.
Um yeah, there there's a lot of different types of balls that come at you and then I panic. I panic.
Oh, the doctor is actually like so good.
Yeah, I'll take that. Um, I'm not going to take any more harvesting, I don't think. Even though it's like not that bad right now. I could take this cuz even with the doctor, it will it will increase it. Or I could take the crit because I I can heal for one every crit. I'm going to take the crit.
I just need more damage. I will take the damage and I will lose a little range.

We roll one more time, I think. Oh, this is always so tempting, but it hits so slow and it won't work.

Um, I lose two speed, but I get visibility increase. It's $63 though. So expensive.

So, when I lock items, I have 20% chance to curse them, which will make them stronger, but it will also um ah it will also put up a creature that is much stronger during the battle. That's fine.
That's fine. Sometimes they're great and they do give you more money. So, at the end of the day, if we're able to kill them, we're able to kill I ran right into that ball.

There's another uh egg in here somewhere. Damn it, I missed it. It's fine. All right, we'll kill him really fast.
Excellent. We could use one of those pets that picks up the the balls for you. So, there's a pet that now picks up the um the little the little money for you, which is great.
More elemental you have, the quick your mines spawn mine spawns. Okay, that's great. Uh we have armor, harvesting range, and just range flat range. I'm going to do range damage, and we'll take this. Um, I'll take this. Oh my god. I think that might have been a bad idea. Yes. 20% of your materials. That's great. Do we even have knock back? We don't. So, we might as well get this wet stone. I can lose damage for crit.
Uh, which is great cuz we do have the tentacle. But I haven't even recovered health cuz I'm not getting hit yet. I think I'm just going to lock the wet stone and that's it cuz we have no knock back anyway.
All right, we're going to have to go around looking for eggs this round.
Yeah, there's one egg. They spawn a big guy and it's fine. It's just like why deal with him when we don't have to?
He can be he can be tough sometimes if you have too many other creatures and can't focus them down or not enough damage.
I'm already kind of noticing. Oh yeah, we we spawned one. It's fine.
Um I'm already noticing that we are going to need a little bit more damage for the next round hopefully.

Um, good thing we didn't take the elemental damage hit because this guy will do elemental damage uh with burning with the damage that you do, which is great. I love a scared sausage. I do need some more speed because what's going to happen is at wave 11 the little uh not these guys.
These guys we can dodge pretty effectively. I think I think we have enough damage to take them down. So, that's the most important part. But no, no. At wave 11, we'll get those little ghosts that chase you. And in this mode, they're so freaking fast.
Oh, that was a lot of chest. Oo, this is going to be a nice round if I survive.
We're going to have a lot of options.

Engineering killing trees spawns a turret. Ah, I mean look, the only good thing about this is that it cost 141 though. That's a problem. It's kind of expensive.
But I guess the only good thing is that the turrets will will slow targets, huh?
But it's like it's not like I'm focused on engineering. So those turns are not really going to do that much damage. H I think I'm going to skip the pocket factory. Oh, I might be wrong.

Piercing damage. Interesting. I could take the pumpkin, but I don't have piercing on this yet.

You can't outrun them if you can't kill them. Trust me, I've tried.
So, like I tried ethereal weapons and I tried running them on those. It It was not outrunnable.
Not with like normal movement speed.
Maybe if you get a bunch of movement speed, you can. Nope. I'm already getting a little bit overwhelmed.
But we have that little slug in the middle picking up all the little dots.
So that's nice. At least pick up all the loot, slugs. Pick up all the loot, please.
Okay, he did pretty good. That's really nice. 541. Pigma has a little bit of a hitch. elemental damage from bonus to structure um speed only counts that you pick up and not from the amount of structures you got. Oh, I see. I see.
Well, that I mean h recycling this. Um okay. No, that's not it's not terrible.
I think it's still not a bad idea to try it, but but I see what you're saying.
It's not going to be reliable with that.

Okay, so out of all our weapons, I will say this one was the least effective.
Don't take this one or I'm not going to take that one because even though I had a really nice amount of elemental damage, look how close it was. The elemental damage versus the range damage, this one didn't do that much damage. As you can see, this weapon only dealt this much damage last round. And I had a nice amount of elemental damage.
It's not like it was is nerfed or anything. Now, granted, I had two more range damage, but still these do so much. Well, no, no, it still did more. Um, yeah, because we died instantly, so it's it was kind of hard to say, but this one would have done better, I think. Oh, man. Cuz we can't really tell because it's it was a bad round. But trust me, when I was checking, the fireball wasn't doing that that good. And we did have a bonus to explosion damage as well as a bonus to explosion size over here. So, it wasn't like it was completely nerfed.
It should have done better is what I'm saying. It really should have done better. So, I wouldn't have taken this one had I known really. I I think maybe I would have just taken the second shotgun. So, I would have had two shotguns, which the shotgun was probably my best weapon. The This one was good, but it didn't do as well as I thought.
Unrealistically, the SMG did really good and the harpoon was thriving. It's not great. No, it was not great. The harpoon did really good. I was kind of surprised. It was scary cuz it pulled things in, but you know, whatever. It was killing them. So, I guess it is what it is. Um, I would take the harpoon again. I The SMG was surprisingly good, but I wouldn't have that many SMGs because like just it pops up a lot of balls, I think. So, I I think I would just get a couple more of these. I would still probably take one shredder. The shredder didn't do that bad overall. But it be like one two max. But it is nice to delete the little ads. So, you know, this this clears up a lot of room. So, I would still do those, I guess. But I think maybe another shotgun or something like that. It's getting a bit late. Have fun everybody.
