Judge John Roach Jr. was scheduled to retire at the end of his term in 2026, and there is no evidence that he retired early due to the Carmelo Anthony case; he publicly defended his rulings, including barring cameras and imposing a gag order, stating he stands by his decisions. The knife Anthony was charged with carrying was a 3.5-inch multi-tool with a flashlight, fire starter, glass breaker, cord cutter, and bottle opener, which is not illegal in Texas (the legal limit is 5.5 inches). A fourth person has witnessed the surveillance video showing four people approaching Anthony, and the appeal process involves finding technical judicial errors rather than a retrial, making it challenging to overturn the verdict.

Karmelo Anthony The Judge Is OUT | Knicks Player Says NO To Trump️
Added:Lauren L. Rosa from the Breakfast Club spoke to a White House official on the Knicks visit and tells her they are looking forward to a championship visit.
The statement reads, "We have been in touch with the Knicks and we're looking forward to hosting the team on a date to be determined in the near future." And the question of the week is, who from the New York Knicks will be attending?
Not only do I have an answer to that question, I also have an idea on what the New York Knicks could do if they decide to attend the White House. Also, the judge who resided over the Carmelo Anthony case has retired and has sent the internet into a tail spin. As you can see right beside me, judge abruptly retires. Have no fear. I have the details of what's really going on with the judge. I also have the details on the quote unquote knife Carmelo Anthony was carrying that had a lot more things on it than just a 3-in blade. While we're on the topic of Carmelo Anthony, I'm also going to update y'all on his appeal trial. And there has been a fourth person that has seen the banned video that allegedly is telling the truth that the judge is trying to hide from y'all. Sit back, relax. I'm going to tell you everything you need to know about the Knicks and Carmelo Anthony, then I'll hand it off to y'all, the outlawers. So, let me know what you think in the comment section below.
Happy Junth, y'all.
New York Knicks owner James Dalan confirmed that the franchise has accepted an invitation from the White House, marking the first time an NBA champion will visit President Donald J.
Trump. Dalan, who invited the president to attend game three of the NBA finals, which is the only finals game that the Knicks lost. But I digress, and he cites his 30-year friendship with Trump as a catalyst for the historic trip. The details of the White House visit are currently being finalized. While this is the first for the Trump administration, the tradition of champions being celebrated at the White House has seen a mixed history in recent years with some teams declining or facing schedule conflicts during previous terms. Let's listen to James Dalan and his confirmation.
>> You looking forward to the celebration at the White House?
>> The the as as a matter of fact, thank you for asking me that. We just did receive an invitation from from the White House which we accepted. We still have to figure out the the details, etc. But, you know, yes, of course. I mean, you know, look, I invited the president to come to come down for the game, right? He is a friend. I've known him for 30 for 30 years and I'm very proud to bring the team to the White House.
>> You said you're privileged that a sitting president came to the Garden.
First time ever for a finals game.
>> First time ever for any NBA Finals.
>> That's right. And then you guys get to go back and be celebrated uh for the entire country to see at the White House at some future day.
>> Yes. Now, like everything these days, opinions are split. Some people are saying, "Yeah, everybody should go to the White House. That is the White House. Accept the invitation. Go." And of course, there's people on the other side of the aisle who ARE LIKE, "WHAT?
WE'RE NOT going to the White House?" No.
Now, I'm going to play a clip from Whoopi Goldberg and then I'm going to play a clip from Don Lemon so you can see the reasons for the opposing sides.
Take a listen to Whoopi.
>> I don't think you can separate Trump from the White House even though we would like to because it is the people he doesn't treat it like the >> I want them to go. Do you I want all those black men tell >> to stand in our house >> and remind all of those people that when you try to destroy one part of history, you're destroying all of our histories.
So I want them to go, if only so the kids know that nobody can keep you down if you are rising.
I see some of Whoopi's points. Let's listen to Don Leman and I'm going then to tell you after what I think they should do.
>> So, it never fails. Someone always has to up. The Knicks win the first championship in 53 years. New York is celebrating and then the owner says, "Oh, he's proud to bring the team to Trump's White House." Bring the team like these grown men don't get a say in it. This is the NBA, a league built largely on black athletes. Can we just be honest about this? You know how NBA players have felt about Donald Trump?
I'm generalizing here. We've heard them for years. The same Donald Trump or him for years. The same Donald Trump who told NFL players to get that son of off the field for kneeling. The same Donald Trump who insulted LeBron James and me in the very same tweet after I interviewed him after he opened a school for kids in Akran, Ohio. These players don't want to go celebrate that and they shouldn't have somebody else making that decision for them. They won the championship. they should decide for themselves.
>> Now, I do have a confirmation on what at least one Nick has decided to do. Before Before I give you that information, let me tell you what I think the players should do. I'm more leaning to Whoopi. I feel like the players should go, even the players who oppose Donald Trump and his views. I have always said this when the conversation around the Philadelphia Eagles, who should go, it's always I always have the same view. Go and use your opportunity to stand up for what you believe in. If you oppose Donald Trump's views, wear a t-shirt that is opposing his views. Wear a hat, wear a tie. Use that stage to stand up for what you believe in. And I put some get put down some notes here. If you support women's rights, stand up for that and wear a t-shirt that says her body, her choice. That would be better than not going. Here's another idea. If you believe in DEI, WEAR A BIG OLD HAT that says DEI across the hat.
Wear a tie that says LGBTQ plus. And make sure that you unbutton that blazer so that tie is front and center.
Wear a big flavor flave clock around your neck that says fight the power with a fist in the middle of that clock.
Have your afro out and have a big afro pick out the side and make sure the afro pick, you know, the ones that has those fist at the end. Have a big afro pick coming out your afro. stand up for something. This is the White House. This is the president of the United States.
And while Donald Trump has his right, his views, he's the president and his cabinet, let him have his time. He said what he said about LeBron and about this and about els.
You use his stage to fight for what you believe in and for what you stand up.
We talked about boycots a couple of days ago with Jay-Z and Target. And y'all know I'm a firm believer in boycotting.
But sometimes boycotting is not just ignoring. Sometimes boycotting is standing up and going to those places in front of that those cameras and wearing something or even saying something because I'm sure that Nicks will have an opportunity to say something. But Donald Trump is smarter than that. He knows who he's going to give the microphone to.
Wear a hat, wear a t-shirt, wear a hoodie, wear pants, do something. That is going to go viral, even though he'll try to hide it. Trust me. As y'all know, I'm all about algorithms. Get into the algorithm and stand for something. I don't care what it is. Stand for something. That's my opinion on what they the Knicks should do. Y'all sign off below and let me know. Now, let's move on to Carmelo Anthony because we have a lot to update you on. Oops. Hold on. I knew I forgot something here. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. I promised you guys some information on one of the players. Okay. I can confirm to you that there is a Nick's a Nick player that has decided to not go to the White House. I cannot tell you who it is, but this Nick is trying to persuade other Nick players not to go. And this Nick player believes that him not going and others not going will speak louder than my idea.
There is someone in there are people in the organization actively trying to not have this player not show up. But as of right now today, they have decided they're not showing up. And the reason why I'm giving you this information is because this is not just like a bench player or somebody who you don't know. This is a person that if they are not there, you will know that they're not there. it will stand out like a sore thumb and he wants to use this time to not show up. That's his version of boycott. Will that change? I don't know. But for now, there is one and potentially two big Nick players that are not showing up. Okay, y'all let me know. Let me know what you think about my idea. Let me know what you think about the Nick player not showing up. All right. Okay. Let's talk about um Camello Anthony now. Retiring abruptly on the run. People are saying Judge Roach is retiring because he does not want to be disbarred because Carmelo Anony's unfair trial is being revealed as an unlawful conviction/dict.
Okay, let me give you guys some details around this whole big conversation that's going online. Judge John Roach Jr. who presided over Camaro Anony's trial, was already scheduled to retire at the end of his term in 2026.
Multiple reports note that Camaro Anony's case was likely to be the last major trial of his career. That is just a fact. But hold on, let me cook.
There is no indication that he is stepping down early or retiring because of the backlash surrounding the case.
After the verdict, Judge Roach publicly defended his ruling and by saying that he stands by his decision to bar cameras and electronics in a courtroom, that he stands by him imposing a gag order, saying he believed the jury reached the correct verdict, rejected accusations that he had any personal connections with the Metaf family, and he has stated, "As long as I follow the law, I sleep well at night." So the fact of him retiring because of the Carmelo Anthony case, there is no evidence supporting that he was already on his way out and retiring. Okay, so um let me just go over before I tell you what is really going on, let me just tell you why there is some more speculation.
Like we just heard it. That is very very embarrassing for a judge to get disbarred if there is something that comes out during the appeal appeal case.
But y'all know that I have extensive court knowledge. Do you know how egregious things would have to get for a judge to be disbarred? That that is just very very very very far down the line. Some other people are saying that the truth is going to come out about the videotape that he stopped everybody else from seeing and that is what he is running from. Some other people are saying that because of the all-white jury and we know that yes there was some Asian and a half Hispanic but it was pretty much an all-white jury. People are saying that is what he is running away from. And also another thing that he didn't follow procedure and allow the proper evidence to be submitted. Now look, let me tell y'all the play here. He didn't abruptly quit. He's not on the run. This was the plan all along. They were looking for a judge that was retiring so that they can have a judge that could throw the case and just say, "Yo, it was retiring."
This was the play. This was the setup.
So y'all wasting your time saying like, "Oh, now he's running." No, no, no, no, no. when they are looking to throw a case. This these people are way way smarter than you think. When you throwing a case, you think that you would look for a judge that you know has 20 years left. No, you make sure to pick a judge that's already on his way out.
Yo, on your way out, yo, can you do this for us? Hook this up for us. Yeah, get, you know, don't allow this video. You know, you know, help with the jury. Do all of that stuff. I'm retiring anyways.
Okay, cool. you know, we'll give you a little extra little something something.
This was already the plan. So, wasting your time saying he's on the run is a waste of time. All right, so that's what's going on with the judge. It was a play from the beginning. Let's go on now to be talking about this knife, the appeal, and the video. Now, without getting into the details of the case, because I'm sure most of you know it by now. If for those of you who haven't, just check on my page. We have detailed this. Camelo Anony's knife was three and a half inches long. What is more important, what is most important to me, even if you don't know about the case, is that it was not illegal in Texas. For it to be illegal, it would have to be 5 1/2 in long. Why did he have this knife with him? Does this not help answer? The knife had a flashlight. It had a fire starter. It had a glass breaker, a cord cutter, and a bottle opener.
It's not just a knife. This is a utility, whatever you call it, a utility tool.
So, it even says at the top horse, sorry. 6 in1 multi-tool. It just is not a knife. So, perhaps I'm not giving the defense, you know, any out here. But perhaps the defense was like, do we even have to explain why he was carrying around a multi-tool?
Y'all let me know. Like 17-year-old kid carrying a multi-tool. Like there was a lot of other things that he could have been using this for.
Perhaps this is the explanation of why he had it on him because there were many more things than just a knife. Maybe he's never even used the knife. I don't know. Y'all let me know. Okay, let's move over to uh the update on the appeal and then we're going to close out with a fourth person that has seen this alleged video that shows four people approaching Carmelo, which again the defense did a horrible job of showing why he felt like his life was threatened. Let's hear the update on the appeal.
>> Here with an update on Carmelo Anony's appeal. But while we still don't know the exact grounds of the appeal, there are signs that work is being done behind the scenes. Reports indicate that multiple attorneys has visited him this week. While no official appeal arguments have been announced, supporters can take some encouragement knowing that legal professionals continue to be involved and that efforts are reportedly underway.
>> Why this is important is the reason why Judge Roach didn't allow cameras, put gag orders, etc. was to limit the attention. Limit the media attention.
Why? The bigger the attention, the the the the ch the the the greater the chance that the family can get a larger attorney because larger attorneys would want to attach themselves to a bigger case.
Now that the case has been closed, you see the explosion in the media, which is now it's an international story. And now you see these big-time lawyers now going to visit Carmelo saying, "Yo, I'm going to try to help you in the appeal." It's a lot harder for I don't care how big the attorney is to get him off on appeal than it would be to actually win the case. So, you know, you wish some of these big-time lawyers would have given their time and attention to Carmelo and his family before it turned into an international story. But, do you blame the lawyer? Do you blame the system? Who knows? Um, people don't realize an appeal is not a retrial. An appeal is, hey, let's see if there is any technical judicial errors. You don't get to retry. And if they could find some technical judicial errors, then they could overturn, they could get a new trial, etc., etc., a great great great attorney should be able to find a couple of little errors. And especially now with the judge and the jury or whatever, and I've been talking with some experts, there seems to be some errors. So, I just don't want everybody to be like, "OH MY GOSH, the appeal is going to win." It's going to be very, very hard.
And again, winning the appeal would then mean potentially, yes, overturning the verdict, but probably it will be like, "Okay, let's have another trial." And then he'll have another trial with a way better attorney, and then he could get off. So, just giving you guys an update on the appeal. Now, let's move over to a video from a fourth person who seen this video from the surveillance footage of what happened that day, which no explanation of why the judge banned this video. But what's most important is that this is a fourth person who seen this video and all these four people say the exact same thing about the video and these four people don't know each other.
This is not like a coordinated attack against the Metcast family and the judge and a verdict. Listen to what she has to say. As I'm watching the video, I can look up in the canopy and I can see Carmelo sitting there. He has gray sweatshirt.
I see people that are reentering the bleachers, the stadium. And I see a group of six that's walking closely together. Now, two of them veer off. One go up the bleachers, which is on my right, and then one continues to walk straight. Then I see a group of four.
Now they're walking a little hurried. Um they walk directly up to where Carmelo is sitting. They go into the bleachers and they stop right in front of Carmelo.
And when they stop in front of Carmelo, the entrance of the bleach locked. He he couldn't get out. So they stand there for a few minutes and then all of a sudden you see movement under the canopy where Carmelo is sitting. You see shoulders moving. You see ducking, you know, you see Carmelo kind of lean out and come back in and then he leans out again. Looks like he does a backward fall out of off the bleacher.
He crawls just a little bit. He stands up. He goes up a couple of bleachers. He looks around and then he runs to my right, the bleachers on my right, diagonally down. When he gets down to the bottom, he falls.
Now, at the same time, I see three boys running down the stairs. Miller quickly gets up and continues to run out of the frame.
The three boys are chasing behind him and then one stops.
>> Let me know what you think about the judge. Let me know what you think about the knife. I'm really interested in the knife. Does this not give some some reasoning to why a 17-year-old kid would have this here as a bottle opener, fire starter, cutter, this or whatever. It's it's not even sold as a knife. It's sold as a multi-tool that happens to have a knife that's legal. Please let me know what you think. Let me know what you think about the appeal. Let me know what you think about this video that we all know is going to leak at some point.
Also, let me know what you think about the Knicks and my approach. let me know.
