High-frequency ultrasound imaging reveals characteristic post-HIFU treatment findings including hypercoic fibrotic tissue, micro focus points indicating energy delivery, and edema around microthermal coagulation zones, which collectively confirm successful treatment and enable precise assessment of treatment efficacy and safety.

Facial Ultrasound Pre- and Post-HIFU TreatmentAdded:
Hi, Dr. Gina here. Today I want to show you how to scan a face prior and post a high for procedure using a high frequency ultrasound to scan the patient's face before and after a hu procedure. First of all, it's going to allow you to see in detail all the important anatomical points. for example, the vascular anatomy, the organization of the fat compartments, the depth of this mass tissue. So this way you are going to be able to uh very precisely plan and analyze the areas that you need to do the procedure, the depth of the procedure and that will give you much more safety when you are doing the treatment. So for this patient, I did two months ago a hu procedure which we focus on the mid and the lower face. She was worried about some sagness around her jawline and now two months later we are going to scan it again. So let's start now checking her smass.
So this hypercoic fibers they are parallelo are the ismass as we talked about this before. So you can see a very hypercoic smass here as well some extra hypercoic points within this mass and the surrounding tissue. These are the micr focus points of ultrasound that created that extra hyperquake hypercogenicity which is a sign of a well layered treatment a well planned treatment. So you can see the energy was given h in today's mass. Some points are very obvious here. H let's go down a little bit to check.
You can also see some edema around the soft tissue in some areas that again she received the huo energy the hyper focused ultrasound energy. So these are two signs that are compatible with the post procedure of the post treatment of a hu procedure.
Going up a little bit again we can check to see her parottida gland which is perfect there. Do you see? But around the parottida gland we have a very hypercoic h fibrotic tissue. Again this is uh the result of our treatment.
We can also see some subtle thickening and contraction of the fibroceptile network within those subcutaneous layer.
It's very obvious here on top of the mandibular bone as well as the hypercoic points showing us that she had uh the treatment right there and there and there and there and there. Here we can see her uh facial artery and a very thick and very obvious ismass layer there which we love to see that.
Uh let's check around the mass muscle.
Can you can you crinch your teeth please for me? Yes.
There you go. Big mass. Beautiful. Okay.
Relax now.
So it seems that you are having a very good result with your uh treatment. I can see the thickening of the fibrotic tissue. I can see some micro focus point of where you had the shots of the ultrasound as well a little bit of odema in the soft tissue exactly in the points around the microthermal coabulation zones.
So uh this concludes our video. I want to tell you that in my opinion using the high frequency ultrasound for hypo procedures are going to give you more precision more safety especially when planning and controlling post procedure controlling the result of your patients.
This can only bring more and more good results to your daily clinical usage of your high frequency ultrasound. Talk to you soon. Bye-bye.
