Cloudy skies, 70% rain coverage Tuesday afternoon in Southeast Texas

[00:00:00]As we take a look at future cast, shows the rain falling at a pretty good pace here through mid-afternoon and then starts to taper off as we head towards this evening into the overnight. I'll go with about a 30% chance overnight. And then as we get into Wednesday, see another disturbance really start to flare up again and we'll see those rain showers once again getting into about a 60, maybe 50-60% coverage for tomorrow. So, we'll keep that weather impact alert in there for Wednesday as well. Along the coast today, southeast winds at 15 knots, seas from 2 to 3 feet, light chop on the inner lakes and bays. Next high tide's going to be at 4:05 for this afternoon.

[00:00:33]Our sunset tonight's 7:47. Doubt if we get to watch that. Right now at Texas Point, east winds at 20 to 23 with water temperature there at about 74. So, forecast for today, we'll go 70% coverage of rain. Might up that a little bit, maybe to 80-90% cloudy skies, temperatures in the upper 60s. And then for tonight, 60s and 50s across the area with a 30% coverage of a few showers. As we head towards tomorrow, another 60% coverage of rain with a weather impact alert continuing. And then after that, you can see rain chances drop off Thursday through Monday of next week, only a 20% chance of a few isolated showers over the weekend and afternoon highs warming up into the middle 80s by Sunday. Mhm. So, keep your umbrella, poncho, all of that stuff even tomorrow as well. It'll be kind of scattered.
