The Stanford Marshmallow Experiment, conducted by psychologist Walter Mischel in 1970, demonstrated that children who could delay gratification by waiting 15 minutes for a second marshmallow showed better outcomes in school, sports, and life. This study illustrates that delayed gratification—the ability to resist immediate smaller rewards to achieve more significant long-term goals—is essential for success. The video emphasizes that instant gratification, while providing short-term satisfaction, often leads to negative long-term consequences, whereas practicing self-control and patience enables individuals to achieve greater rewards and spiritual blessings.

The Marshmallow TestAdded:
Hey, but look at give give me that Wikipedia I sent y'all. Wikipedia uh Ariel Elon, I'm sorry.
>> The Stan the Stafford Stanford marshmallow experiment was a study on delayed gratification conducted in 1970 by psychologist Walter Michelle. So, anybody know what delayed gratification is?
Nobody don't know what that means.
That's why we we don't do it here. We don't have no clue what it means. Okay?
We You know what instant gratification is and you know what uh delay? So, you know what instant is, but you don't know what Nobody don't know nothing. I don't believe.
>> Put it back up.
>> We know.
>> We know. The Stan the Stanford marshmallow experiment was a study on delayed gratification conducted in 1970 by psychologist Walter Michelle at Stanford University.
>> In this study, a child was offered a choice between one small immediate reward or two small rewards that if they waited for a period of time.
>> During this time, the researcher left the child in a room with a single marshmallow for about 15 minutes and then returned. If they did not eat the marshmallow, the reward was either another marshmallow or a pretzel stick.
>> Ah, you see that? So, think about it now. You hungry and a marshmallow in front of you.
>> Are you going to eat it or you going to wait and get you two marshmallows?
>> So, you get a reward if you wait the 15 minutes. But time you sat down, you can just eat it up and you know, you get the sweet, >> nice creamy taste in your mouth. Like if you home, if you eat a marshmallow, it tastes good, right? It's it's it's nice and sweet. It's it's it's so but you can't get a second one if you eat it early.
>> But if you wait 15 minutes, >> I'm going to give you two marshmallows.
>> So that's delay. If you immediate gratification is you get it time you see it, you get it and you eat it. But if you can control yourself for 15 minutes, >> you get too much, man. That's a delayed gratification. Y'all get it now?
>> Yes, sir.
>> Y'all have no clue what I'm talking about.
>> Y'all talk back, man. It's okay.
>> It's all right. If you if you don't know, just say, "Man, I have no clue what you talking about." So, instant Hey, give me I sent you a uh I sent you one on uh instant gratification. So instant gratification is you want it you want it now. You want it right now and you want it quick and you get it and you just eat it up right fast but you're not thinking about the consequences that come later. Y'all got it.
>> That's instant gratification. Okay. Put the put that up. I sent you a uh >> a link. You got it. What is instant gratification?
>> Key insights. Instant gratification is the desire to experience pleasure or fulfillment without delay. Now you see that that's what we do. Like if you get paid right now, you faster to spend your money on a burger that you going to get right now >> than to get some arms cuz that's delayed grat that you gonna get a reward for because the scripture say you gonna get a reward, right?
But you like, "Ah, should I spend the should I send this the arms $100?" But I can get this $100 right here and I can get this right now.
>> And you know, I'mma get us I'mma get a $20.
>> Damn.
>> Damn. That's the You know who got rich off of this? Fast food joints.
>> Because the fast food joint, you get instant gratification. You get the food right quick.
>> You don't have to go home and cook, right? You don't got to wait. You get instant gratification. But what happens if you eat too much bad food?
You get sick, you die, you get you get fat, you get sick. That's why a lot of us fat right now because we don't apply uh delayed gratification. Go back.
Instant gratification is the desire to experience pleasure or fulfillment without delay. That's why that's why it's a lot of backdoor marriages.
>> You don't want to you don't want the the you don't want to wait and do it the right way.
>> You want it now. You want to hump right now.
>> You want it. You want that pleasure right now. And then bam, what happens?
Horrible marriages, right? Horrible marriages. somebody busting out the windows out the car, you know, and then it it ends in divorce or something, right? Because you didn't you didn't you didn't wait. You couldn't wait. You had to get it in.
>> Go back.
>> Often leading to shortterm satisfaction.
>> Ah, you see that? It was shortterm satisfaction. Talking about talking about uh in marriages, some of y'all just don't get marriages. just go out in the world and just let it do bang bang bang.
Instant gratification, short-term happiness.
Two, three days later, you wake up with gunaria.
>> You're like, "Oh, snap."
>> It was fun though. But now I got a lifetime of gunaria.
>> You know, it's instant gratification.
That's what we want. We want it quick.
We want it now. That's why the check cashing folks is rich because you you go to the check cashing place, you want it right now. So you'll get a loan for 18,000% interest.
>> That's what they do. If you borrow 500 from them, they want 3,000 back.
>> And you be like, "Well, what I to do? My kids my kids need Christmas clothes."
>> And that's how they get black folk right there. We want that instant. We don't want to save the money or whatn not.
Although Christmas is evil, y'all know what I'm talking about. I'm just using an example. Go back.
Often leading to short-term satisfaction, but long-term consequences.
>> You see that long-term consequences.
What's the consequences of using a check cash in place or title loan? Whole lot of interest, right? That you can't never hardly pay it off. They you might like if you borrow $1,000 from a credit card, it take you 10 years to pay the $1,000 back. That's usery. That's sin according to the Bible. But Esau is the mass of sin. This place is is Babylon the great, the mud of all abominations. They can charge you. They can charge you and it's legal. Think about it. On your mortgage, it take you 30 years to pay. Why? cuz they raping us and it's legal here. I said this place the mother of all harlots, bro. It's bad. All right, so instant and delayed gratification. All right, go. Then we finish that. Put it back up.
>> All right, go ahead.
>> Delaying gratification by practicing self-control.
>> Ah, you see that when you delay that reward, you got to be able to control yourself. Some of us can't control oursel. We got to have it. Spike Lee had a show called She got to have it.
>> She couldn't control herself. She had to have it. And the and the show is about a [ __ ] sister. You know, go back delaying gratification by practicing self-control and mindfulness >> helps achieve more meaningful goals and improves overall well-being.
>> You see that? And it proves when you when you're able to delay that gratification, when you're able to wait on that reward, it improves everything.
Now, in our case, the the the instant gratification would be what? Sin.
Because sin is pleasurable.
>> Sin is pleasurable, right? But if you can delay and not sin, you what? Who's going to give you the reward?
The Lord The Lord is going to give you all the reward. Do y'all understand?
Hold up, bro. I'm the only one that understand him.
>> No, you I got following you.
>> Because you got to you got to use abstinence in this truth. You can't go straight headlong for the for the for the reward right away.
>> Y'all understand, >> brothers? You can't just go straight headlong if you're not married and just go to a [ __ ] You can't do that. you going to get some instant gratification, but it's going to be some bad uh long-term results, right? If you if you don't repent, the Lord going to kill you, okay? Uh but you in the short term, you'll get uh gorrhea, HIV, you know, hippatitis, and your liver fail and you die, you know? So, it's bad all the way around, right? All right. Give me uh I sent you another one on delay gratification then.
All right, put that one up. And then I want it's a it's a it's this is a Tik Tok on that I sent you to after that.
All right. Delayed gratification.
>> Delayed gratification is the practice of resisting an immediate smaller reward to achieve a more significant long-term goal.
>> You see that? Because the scriptures say you got to deny yourself, right? You got to deny yourself. You have to you have to resist. You can't you can't give yourself over to your appetite because what is the flesh like? The flesh like what? Sin is pleasurable to us. It's fun. It makes us happy in the short term. It makes us happy in the short term. But in the long term, what is it going to do to you? It's going to destroy your soul. So we have to we have to learn in this truth to practice delayed gratification. Y'all honest y'all understand that you got to control the flesh. You got to the scriptures Paul said I keep under my body and bring it into subjection.
I was just talking about that with the brothers about eating. You got to keep under your body and bring it into subjection cuz what your what your body want? It like to eat. It wants food. You get you put like the marshmallow. You put a marshmallow in your mouth, you get a instant reward. But if you wait, you can get two marshmallows. See that? So you get a better reward, a delayed reward. That's how we got to be. We got to wait and get that delayed reward. We got to go through all the trials and tribulations. Don't get out of here and get instant reward but which is sin and and look forward to the delayed gratification. Go back.
Read it again.
>> Delayed gratification is a practice is the practice of resisting an immediate smaller reward to achieve a more significant long-term goal. Because this the world this world right here happiness in this world or uh reward in this world is instant gratification. We want the reward in the world to come. Y'all got it? The scriptures talk about the world to come.
That's when we want our reward right there. The Lord say don't give no attention to this world. You know, you have to live in it, but you have to keep the commandments. You have to suffer in this world. And then the world to come, you gonna get your reward. Y'all got it?
>> Okay. Give me second right quick. 2 Israel chapter 7 verse42. This world is not the end. So Ezra was talking to the angel in in chapter 7 here. And the angel said, "Look, this is not the end.
This ain't it right here. Right now, this ain't it. So you need to be trying to get to the world to come." Y'all got it? Read that. 2 Ezras 7:42, >> he answered me and said, "This present life is not the end."
>> You see that? This present life is not the end. So all of y'all that want to sin, you want to break God laws because you want to have fun. You say your life is miserable and sin is gonna for some reason we always think if we got a issue. If we got an issue, especially in the congregation, the answer is sin.
>> That's that's going to make me happy.
It's not going to make you happy.
>> It's going to make you worse off. I'm telling you, sin ain't the answer.
>> Sin ain't the answer to your problems.
You know, I had a brother recently to I I just I can't do it no more. I said, bro, sin ain't the answer.
Man, I'm just used to doing what I want to do. You got to have a You got to delay that, bro. You You can't do what you You can't never do what you want to do ever.
You can't do what you want to do. Some sisters say, "Well, I want to do what I want to do." My husband won't let me.
You can't never do what you want to do.
You go into your job right now and tell the white man, you want to do what you want to do. He gonna be like, "I can't use you. I can't use you." But sir, I want to do what I want to do. You out of here. Our women love saying that stuff to to us. But to the white man, they be like, "Yes, sir. Where's the white man?
You want me to mop this floor harder? I will mop it harder." Damn.
>> Yeah. And you know what they call it?
Career woman.
But you got a career. But you going to do if the white man tell you to be there at 7 a.m., you going to be there. If your husband say, "Cook me something."
You say, "I can't do it, nigga."
>> Damn.
>> I'm tired. You know, women like to say it like that. I'm tired.
I'm tired. Yeah. I I'm I'm just so tired. But the white man say, "Be there at 7." Well, that's different.
>> I'm I'm there at 6:45.
Read it again. He answered me and said, "This present life is not the end."
>> You see that? This present light is not the end. Read >> where much glory doth abide.
>> Uhhuh.
>> Therefore have they prayed for the weak.
>> Mhm. Go ahead.
>> But the day of doom shall be the end of this time.
>> You see that? The day of doom is coming.
So we got to prepare ourselves for the day of doom. The day of doom coming is going to be the end of this time. Go ahead.
>> And the beginning of immortality for to come >> wherein corruption is passed. Uh you see that that sin that you like to do here is going to be passed away. It's going to be no more baby mama, no more baby daddy, no more sinning. The Lord ain't having it. If you sin, you die. But in this world, if you if you sin, you you know, judgment don't come immediately.
>> But in the world to come, you you won't make it. You won't make it to the world to come, though. All right. Give me ask.
Give me uh Isaiah 13:9 and then give me that tick tock.
Isaiah chapter 13:9. So the day of doom is coming. The day of the Lord is coming. We have to practice delayed gratification >> till we get to the reward. The day of the Lord. Y'all got it? I hope so. Go ahead.
>> Isaiah 13:9. Behold, the day of the Lord cometh >> cruel, both with wrath and fierce anger.
>> You see that? Do you want to get you want the Lord to take his wrath and fierce anger upon you? The scriptures say his his his fury is going to be upon the nations and sinners of our people.
So right now, it's instant gratification. You having a good time.
You having a good time. you. Some of y'all up in here might be secretly celebrating the wicked holidays. I don't know. You getting instant gratification, but the end result is not going to be good. You might be secretly in some type of relationship outside the truth we don't know about. Some brothers might have a work wife.
>> Some sisters might have a work husband.
>> But guess what? The Lord see you. And on the day of doom, you gonna get it.
>> You gonna get it. And it's gonna be bad.
Read it again. Watch this.
>> Behold, the day of the Lord cometh.
>> Cruel with both wrath.
>> Now, when you use the word cruel, that's bad. We don't talk like that, dude.
Cruel. It's cruel.
>> No, the Lord say, write this right here.
Cruel. It's going to be cruel. Go ahead.
>> Cruel. Both with wrath and fierce anger.
>> And with fierce anger. He ain't say he just going to be angry. It's going to be fierce anger. Fierce anger. Fierce mean he going to be pissed.
You ever seen somebody Y'all remember that video I played on the show where the the bus driver was beating that dude?
>> He was fierce. That was some fierce cruel anger right there.
>> He was punching the heck out of that dude. He was mad. All right. Go to Joel chapter 2 vers 11.
Joel chapter 2 11 >> Joel chapter 2 11huh go >> and the Lord shall utter his voice before his army for his camp is very great.
>> Uhhuh.
>> For he is strong that execututeth his word.
>> For that ain't the right one. Is that Joel 2?
>> Yes sir.
>> Maybe it's 3 and 11. Let me look at it.
Okay. What 3 and 11 say? Joel chapter 3 11. Assemble yourselves and come all ye heathen and gather yourselves together round about >> thither call.
>> That ain't it either. Either. All right.
I'mma leave it alone. I wrote down the wrong scripture.
>> 211.
>> Okay. Go back. Go back. 211.
>> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't read enough, did I? Joel chapter 2 vers 11.
>> Joel chapter 2 11.
>> Let's go. And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army, >> for his camp is very great, >> for he is strong that executed his word.
>> For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible.
>> You see that? The day of the Lord is going to be great and very terrible. So, we got to say, "Hold up. Hold up. I'm not going to deal with this instant gratification.
I'm going to delay that. I'm going to have self-control and I'm going to wait on the reward.
Y'all get what I'm saying? You got to wait. You can't get that instant gratification. You got to wait. You got to delay. You can't just grab a marshmallow and eat it. It's sweet. I know it's sweet, but you got to wait.
Okay. Uh because give me 1 Peter chapter 4:8. A lot of us ain't going to be able to do that though. Even the righteous, even us that have repented, a lot of us not gonna be able to do it. We're gonna grab the sweet marshmallow and we're going to eat it, which is sin, and you're going to die. Cuz that's what the scriptures say. Read that. First Peter chapter 4, verse 8.
>> Uhhuh.
>> And above all things, have fervent charity among yourselves.
>> That ain't the right scripture. What the heck did I give you the wrong scripture?
I want the one that says scarcely.
>> I got you. First Peter chapter 4 verse 18.
>> Uhhuh.
>> And if the righteous scarcely be saved, >> you see that the righteous is gonna scarcely be saved. You know what? You know what scarcely mean? Barely. The righteous is going to barely be saved.
Because a lot of us, we don't want to delay that gratification. We want to we want it now. It used to be a commercial of a of a a lawyer like I want it now.
It's my money and I want it now. JG, it's my money and I want it now. That's how we think. We want it right now.
Yeah. You know, when you broke, you want it right now, don't you? But guess what?
A lot of times that money ain't good.
>> It ain't good. Y'all ever seen Set It Off when uh what's the sister's name?
She had to sleep with the dude to get money. Jada pick his customer.
>> I mean Jada pick his character.
>> I can't remember. But anyway, she needed that money.
>> Stony.
>> Stony. That's her name. What was the dude name she had to lay with to get the money?
>> Nate.
>> She kept saying, "Nate, I need this money."
Nate say, "You know what's up.
Nate got instant gratification."
>> Huh?
>> She got Hey, she got the money. She got and she didn't try to she didn't hold out to try to get it the right way. She she wanted it the wrong way and she got and they robbed the bank in the movie.
You know robbed the bank. Everybody died except her at the end. Right. I think everybody died except her. All right.
Read again. 1 Peter chapter 4:18.
>> First Peter chapter 4:18.
>> Uhhuh.
>> And if the righteous scarcely be saved, >> Uhhuh.
>> where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
>> You see that? If the righteous gonna scarcely be saved, where should the ungodly appear? They ain't gonna make it.
>> They not gonna get the kingdom. They not gonna get that that reward. They going to get they going to get uh instant gratification though. They out here breaking God law. They out here sinning.
They having fun. Sin is pleasurable. I'm not f to sit up here and tell you sin ain't fun now. It's fun. But guess what?
It's a result of the sin. And I'm telling you right now, if you out here breaking God laws, especially if you know the truth now, you know the truth, you go back out in the world, the Lord going to jack you up. You ain't going to have no, you're not going to have no settleness of mind because you can't forget God lost. It going to be in your mind. You can sit up here and play play like you hard to us. I'm happy. You can look happy on your on your Instagram.
You can look happy on your Facebook, but I know you're miserable. The scriptures say sinners is miserable. The other nations are miserable. Don't let them fool you. All right. Give me 2 chapter 8 verse one.
>> 2 Ezra chapter 8 verse one.
>> Uhhuh.
>> And he answered me, saying, "The Most High made this world for many."
>> You see that? This world right here is made for many. That's why you see all these negroes walking around. They just don't never sit down. They just walking.
and [ __ ] and all type of nation. You just you go outside, there's everybody out here. This world was made for many, you know. But the world to come for few, but the world to come is for few. Y'all got it? Now, what I ask you for?
Tik Tok. Give me that Tik Tok. Play that.
Brought all these kids in for the study and they put a little plate in front of them and they said, "Hey little kid, here's a for you. Now, if you want, you could eat that marshmallow. But if you can wait 10 minutes, we'll give you a second one. Right now, the kids that couldn't wait 10 minutes, ate the marshmallow did not have the ability to delay gratification. They wanted that marshmallow and the yummy, tasty sweetness of it instantly. They wanted instant gratification. The kids who were actually great at waiting 10 minutes got a second marshmallow. But check this out. Then they told some of these kids who were able to wait 10 minutes to get the second marshmallow that if you can wait 15 more minutes, we'll give you two more marshmallows or something to that effect. It was like maybe if you can wait 10 more minutes or 20 more minutes now, we're going to really up the ante and we're going to give you two more marshmallows. So you'll have a total of four marshmallows if you can wait even longer. those kids who waited even longer and were able to delay gratification and not impulsively grab that marshmallow and eat it cuz I said you can grab them and eat them anytime you want. But if you can wait 15 more minutes, you'll get two more on top of the two that you already have.
Those kids ended up doing better in school, better in sports, and better in life. And the reason for that is is you have to understand all good things come with time, energy, and effort.
Time compounded by energy and effort equals outcome.
>> See that? Y'all see that? So, if you're able to control yourself, your long term, you'll be way better off. All right? Cuz you'll get what? The reward.
You'll get God's reward if you're able to control your flesh. You got to keep under your flesh because the flesh wants instant gratification. But the spirit wants you to obey the Lord. Y'all got it? The flesh want instant gratification. The spirit wants uh obey the Lord. That's why uh uh Christ said they give me Matthew 26. Matthew 26:41.
Matthew chapter 26:41.
>> Matthew chapter 26 verse 41.
>> Huh? Watch and pray >> that ye enter not into temptation.
>> Read on.
>> The spirit indeed is willing.
>> Yes. Our spirit is willing. Read on.
>> But the flesh is weak.
>> But the flesh is weak. The flesh is weak. So we in this flesh, right? So it's a fight. But you got to be able to control the flesh. Y'all got it? I hope so. I hope so. So refusing a quick reward. We got to refuse a quick reward now because God has a greater reward later. Y'all got it? Give me Luke 21:19.
Luke chapter 21 verse 19.
Luke chapter 21 and verse 19.
>> Luke chapter 21 19.
>> Huh.
>> And your patience possess ye your souls.
>> Ah, this scripture is so true. And your patience possess ye your soul. Some of us, we don't got no patience. We can't wait. A lot of y'all are ask for counsel, but you already did the do. You already did it. Or you ask for counsel after the fact because you don't got no patience. You don't you can't wait. You have to do it. You got to do it and then bam, it turn out horrible for you. Okay.
Give me Luke 9:23.
Luke chapter 9 verse 23. You got to be able to deny yourself. You got to be able to deny yourself.
Luke chapter 9 and verse 23.
>> And he said to them all, "If any man will come after me, >> let him deny himself."
>> You see that? You got to deny. You got to deny yourself. Some of y'all is denying food. Some of us is denying sin right away. You know, I mean, sin in general, rather. You got to deny that.
You got to deny that fleshly instinct to break God laws because that's what we want to do. A lot of us don't even want to be here right now. We want to be out in the world on on the Sabbath. We want to go shopping. But you got to deny that. You got to you got to you got to have control of your body. Okay. Give me that in uh Sarak chapter 18 verse30.
Sarak chapter 18 and verse 30. You can't give yourself over to your appetite.
Okay? Like say like if you're a whoreonger, you like being a whoreonger.
It's good to you. It's fun. You really want it. Well, guess what? In order to get the kingdom, you got to deny yourself. You can't be no [ __ ] monk.
You got to get married. And you gota you gotta you and your spouse gota gotta uh you got to quench all your needs with your spouse. Okay. Read that.
>> Sarakap 18 verse 30. Huh?
>> Go not after thy lust.
>> You see that? Go not after your lust.
Your lust want it now. Your lust won't sin now. Same with brother trying to lose weight. Your body want to eat right now. But you got to res you got to res you got to restrain yourself.
>> Read it again.
>> Go not after thy lust, but refrain thyself from thine appetites.
>> You see that? You got to refrain yourself from your appetite. So whatever whatever your your lust is. Some of y'all's sisters could be disrespecting your husband. That's a lust because the scripture say honor your husband, right?
So if you go against what God say, that's you. God God say honor your husband. You going you going to get a reward if you do that.
But if you dishonor him, it say in her pride, she going to be the ungodly of all. Okay, brothers, it say don't commit adultery. But if you commit adultery, guess what? We don't know. We might forgive you. We don't know what the Lord going to do. You got to stand before Christ. Christ might say, "Okay, okay, you did this. Okay, look, I'm not going to forgive you, but Lord's will, you know, he forgive us, you know, but yes, sir." Go ahead.
>> Check check. Hey, let me get Matthew chapter 6 verse 19. Christ talked about the same thing as far as how we how we can actually delay our gratification, right? U it's about your focus and your vision. If you have a vision, if you can see ahead, like the scriptures say, where there's no vision, the people perish, right? But if you can see a far off, then it gives you a reason to stay the course. Read verse 19.
>> Matthew chapter 6 verse 19.
>> Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, >> right? Because that's right now. While we in this life on this earth, don't focus so much on what happens here right now. What you can receive right now. Go ahead. where moth and rust doth corrupt >> because all of these things are going to become corrupt, right? These things are going to deteriorate. You're going to lose them. Esau going to take it from you. Somebody could steal it from you.
These things right here are temporary.
Go ahead.
>> And where thieves break through and steal.
>> Go ahead.
>> But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.
>> But he says, ay up for yourself treasures in heaven. You have to have a vision to be able to say, what is the kingdom of heaven going to be like? You know, I got to be able to put myself in a situation that's outside of my medium immediate circumstances. Go ahead.
>> Where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt.
>> Go ahead.
>> And where thieves do not break through or steal.
>> Now watch what he says. Read this part.
>> For where your treasure is, there will your heart al be also.
>> So where is your treasure or what is your focus? What are you focused on?
Right? What do you want the most?
Because that's where your heart is. Read it.
>> The light of the body is the eye.
>> If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
>> So why is he talking about the eye?
Because that's what we see, right?
That's what we're focused on. If you right here, we know that the light is Christ. We know that the light is the commandments, right? We understand that the light in this context is what we want to get in the kingdom, right? But if we focus on what we get right now on this earth, then your eyes are not focused on the right thing. Keep reading >> verse 23. But if thine eye be evil, >> but if your focus is on evil things, >> thy whole body shall be full of darkness.
>> So guess what? You going to want that instant gratification, right? So the the moral of the story is what are you focused on? Do you have vision? Are you able to have that discipline to look a far off so that you can actually attain the things that's going to be really beneficial versus the things that's just instant gratification?
>> All praise. All praise. Hey, give me that in 1 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 27. 1 Corinthians chapter 9 and verse 27.
>> 1 Corinthians chapter 9 and verse 27.
>> 1 Corinthians chapter 9 and verse 27.
>> Uhhuh.
>> But I keep under my body.
>> You see that? You got to keep under the body because your body, whatever your lust is, some of y'all is money, some of y'all is hatred, some of y'all is murmuring, backbiting, uh whatever your hat, whatever your fix is, your lust is in your members like uh Paul talk about in Romans 7, whatever your lust is, it's it's not going to go away. is there. But you got to you got to keep under your body. Read it again.
>> But I keep under my body >> and bring it into subjection.
>> You see that? You got to bring your body into subjection. You got to say, "Hey, look, I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to eat that. I'm going control this body. I'm not going to break God laws. No, I want to do it, but I ain't going to do it. I got to keep under my B. You got to resist.

>> But I keep under my body and bring it into subjection.
>> Read on.
>> Lest that by any means when I have preached to others, I myself should be a cast away. So Paul out there telling everybody to keep the commandments of God. But he got to keep under his body cuz he'll be a cast away. So that's what we got to do. We got to we can't worry about the instant gratification. We got to worry about the delayed. We want the reward that's coming in the world to come. Y'all got it? I hope so. Uh Moses deal with that. Watch this. Give me an example of Moses. Give me uh Hebrews chapter 11. Hebrewsap 11 24. Hebrewsap 11 24.
>> Hebrews chapter 11 and verse 24.
>> By faith Moses when he was come to years refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter. So you got to think now Moses was brought up in Pharaoh's household, right? They rich. They rich.
They got He can have anything he want.
But he said no. His faith was so strong that he denied it. He didn't want that instant gratification. He wanted the delayed reward in the world to come.
Read again. By faith, Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter. Read, >> choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God. That's what that's what we got to do. We got to suffer affliction for the people of God.
And eventually, it's real affliction. We ain't really We ain't going through no affliction now. Oh, you you think affliction is you can't pay your light bill? No. No. It's going to come a time where we going to be getting done just like our forefathers got done. Okay? We going to be afflict when you read Mcabes how the brothers got the seven brothers got mutilated because they wouldn't break God laws. It's going to come a time you going to have to stand up for God laws. You going to have to take your death be to get the reward. What'll be that instant gratification in that case? you get to live. You be like, "Oh, oh man, don't kill me. I'll do whatever you say.
Just don't kill me." But think about it.
Remember what Eleazar said. Matter of fact, uh go where Eleasar at. Where is that in? And uh I didn't write it down.
Second Mcab chapter 6.
>> Second Mcabes 6.
>> Yes, sir.
>> Hold up. I just want you I just want to tell y'all show y'all what Azar said. I talk about it all the time.

>> All right. Second Mcabes chapter 6 start at verse 18 then we're going to skip down.
>> Yes sir. Second Mcabes chapter 6 and verse 18.
>> Eleazar one of the principal scribes an aged man and of a well-favored countenance was constrained to open his mouth and to eat swine's flesh. So the wicked king Antios took one of our aged men because everybody knew him. He was a leader and said, "Hey, look, we want you to eat the pork so everybody else will do it." Something about that pork.
That's why Esau put pork in all y'all food. You go to the grocery store, he got pork and beans. You think you just want some beans? It's pork in that bean.
You got to get the vegetarian wrong, right? You know, you used to go buy jiffy mix. We ain't know pork was in the jiffy mix. Now I got to get the dang vegetarian jiffy mix. I just want some jiffy mix biscuits.
And it's pork in the dang biscuit.
>> Everything to foul. You got you got to get vegetarian everything cuz Esau put pork in everything.
>> Marshmallow.
>> No, pork in the marshmallow. That's a the marshmallow I'm talking about is the clean one, y'all. Come on now. They're in the spirit.
>> All right. So, Eleazar, Esau wanted him to eat swine's flesh.
Verse 19.
>> Verse 19. But he choosing rather to die gloriously than to live stained with such an abomination spit it forth and came of his own accord to the torment.
>> You hear what he said? Eleazar said, "Look, I rather die. I'm not gonna just do it so I can live a little longer."
And that's what we'll do. You got think you gonna be faced with a decision one day. Are you going to keep the commandments of God? You going to stand on God? Or you going to take your death?
What you going to do? Now, when you die, you get the reward, though. That's some deep stuff right there.
You like you got to die to to live again. That's what the scripture say.
You got to take your death to live again. That's some deep stuff. All right. So, skip down to uh read on.
Watch this. Verse 20.
>> Verse 20. As it behooved them to come that are resolute to stand out against such things as are not lawful for the love of life to be tasted.
>> You see that? It's It's not lawful for the You want to live You want to live, right? It's not It's against God laws.
I'm not gonna do it.
>> Read on.
>> Verse 21.
>> But they that had charge of that wicked feast.
>> For old acquaintance they had with the man, taking him aside, besought him to bring flesh of his own provision, >> such as was lawful for him to use. and make as if he did eat of the flesh taken from the sacrifice commanded by the king.
>> Now listen what he did. Some old wicked negroes. So, hey, look. Okay. Well, just go ahead and fake like you eating the pork. Just fake like you eating it so the other people can see and then they'll go ahead on and and keep the king's commandment.
What do you say, Romeo? That in doing so, he might be delivered from death.
You see that? That in doing so he might get an instant gratification and be delivered from death.
>> Read on.
>> And for the old friendship with them find favor.
>> But he began to consider discreetly. So he began to think about this. He began to consider discreetly. He started thinking. He was like, "Okay, if I do this, they ain't going to kill me.
They're not going to kill me right now.
That's instant gratification because I'm living, right? I'm I'm I'm getting the the I'm getting I'm I feel like I'm getting satisfaction because I'm living.
But if you break God laws, you're going to die.
>> Go ahead.
>> And as became his age, and the excellency of his ancient years, read, >> "And the honor of his great head, where until he was come, >> and his most honest education from a child, read, >> or rather the holy law made and given by God." Read. Therefore, he answered accordingly and wield them straightways to send him to the grave. He said, "Kill me. I'm not going to do it. Kill me." I meant us to do that.
Y'all me up been there eating big Boston butts up in this j like I don't want TO DIE, LORD.
>> DAMN.
>> THE Lord know my heart. Give me that Boston butt.
>> I'm just going to pray over this Boston.
You going to turn back into a a wicked Christian. No. But the scripture say you got to have faith. Take your death. I think about it all the time. I'm about to take my death, bro.
>> I had to take my death.
>> Yeah. All right. Uh, skip down to verse 24. Verse 24. Huh?
>> For it becometh not our age, said he, in any wise to dissemble, whereby many young persons might think that Eleazar being four score years old and 10 were now gone to a strange religion. He said, "Look, I'm 90 years old. I'm not f to fate like I'm eating a a clean meat so my my young brothers out here can eat pork. I'm not gonna do it. I ain't doing it. Kill me. Go ahead.
>> And so they through mine hypocrisy and desire to live a little time.
>> You see that? And my desire to live a little longer. I'm already 90. And my desire to have that instant gratification to live a little longer.
>> Go ahead.
>> And a moment longer >> should be deceived by me.
>> You see that? She'll be deceived by me.
No, I'm not doing it. I'm going to take my death right now. I'm going up to the torment. You can kill me right now. Go ahead. And I get a stain to my old age.
He said, "Look, I don't want no stain on my name." Some of us don't give a rip about our name, but Eleazar said, "I don't want no stain on my name." Go ahead. And make it abominable. And make it abominable. Go ahead. For though for the present time, I should be delivered from the punishment of men. Ah, see this what I'm talking about today. So if he would have if he would have did what they said in the present time, you'll be delivered from men. Go ahead.
>> Yet should I not escape the hand of the Almighty.
>> You see that? Why? Because Eleazar knew it was a judgment after death. Y'all got it? So y'all understand what I'm saying?
Heat. Heat.
Hebrews chapter 11 and verse 24.
>> Uhhuh.
>> By faith, Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter.
>> Read on.
>> Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.
>> Than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a sin. That's what I'm telling you to do.
Choose. Choose the Lord. Don't enjoy the pleasures of sin just for a season. Some of us we like to do. We want that fleshly gratification immediately.
Some of y'all is is is is disrespect.
Like I said, disrespecting your hood is some of y'all is murmuring. Is some of y'all is is is bucking up at people over you. You got people that's over you and you want to disrespect them. That's that's that instant grat. You might feel like you did something, but it's evil.
The scriptures say don't do that. The scripture say uh uh show honor to the men over you. That's what the scriptures say. But no, we we'll we'll buck up and think we going to get some you getting the instant gratification, but down the line is it's is it's bad for you. you because you couldn't control yourself.
You couldn't control yourself. You know how women do, oh man, I told her something. Oh, you told her something, right? You couldn't control yourself. In the world, that's good, right? When you when you say, I told her off in the world, that's good. In the truth is evil. Yeah, I got it. Is evil is wrong. You got to respect. You got to love your neighbor as yourself. Do who want to get told off in here?
You don't want to get told, "Why you want to talk?" If you go to somebody for something they did, you go to them to gain them. You ain't going to him just to tell them off. You ain't going to him just to do that. All right. Give me So, Moses practiced uh delayed gratification. Give me uh Genesis 39 when Joseph had to practice because Joseph was like, "Oh, no." Y'all know the story of Joseph. Pharaoh wife tried to put it on Joseph.
>> He could have got it, but Joseph is like, "No, I fear the Lord. I ain't gonna do nothing."
>> Uh, give me Genesis chapter 39. Uh, read start at verse two.
>> Genesis chapter 39 and verse two.
>> And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man, and he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian.
>> So, no, no, no, not not Pharaoh right here. He was in his house of his master, an Egyptian. I don't think this was a Pharaoh here, was it?
>> I don't think it was. Okay, go ahead.
Verse three. And his master saw that the Lord was with him, >> and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
>> Read on.
>> And Joseph found grace in his sight.
Read.
>> And he served him, and he made him overseer over his house. So the master made Joseph overseer of his house.
Right? Joseph got it going on, right?
The master love him. He doing good. He's doing good. Go ahead.
>> And all that he had, he put into his hand.
>> Read.
>> And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer of his house >> and over all that he had that the Lord blessed the Egyptians house for Joseph's sake.
>> Read.
>> And the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house and in the field.
>> Uh-huh.
>> And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand.
>> And he knew not all he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person and well favored. Read.
>> And it came to pass after these things that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph.
>> Ah, you see that? Now the master's wife start looking at Joseph. Oh, he look good. He look good. I want I want some of that. Yeah. I want to test drive him.
Now, Joseph know he had a good thing in the house with the master. So, he's like, "Oh, man. Come on now. She coming at me."
>> Read again.
Verse seven. And it came to pass after these things that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph, >> and she said, "Lie with me." Ah, she said, "Lie with me." Now, a fleshly man, a natural man, a worldly man, what you think he would have did? He would have got that instant gratification. He'd have got he'd have been up in there tan the master's wife up.
>> Now he working in the house. He got it going on and he can get the master's wife.
>> She said, "Come on, lie with me." Go ahead. Verse n >> verse eight.
>> Huh?
>> But he refused.
>> But he what?
>> But he refused. Joseph said, "Nah, I ain't doing it."
And you imagine now, imagine now what was really going on. Mass was gone.
Joseph at the house. She walking through the house with a see-through garment on or something.
And then she said, "Come on here. You can get it."
And Joseph said, "No, I ain't getting it. Go ahead.
>> But he refused.
>> But he what?
>> He refused.
>> You hear that, brothers?
>> Joseph refused.
He delayed. He was like, "Oh, nah.
Uh-uh. You ain't going to get me with that. Go ahead."
>> And said unto his master's wife, "Behold, my master walteth not what is with me in the house."
>> Read.
>> And he hath committed all that he hath to my hand.
>> Read on.
>> There is none greater in this house than I.
>> Mhm. Neither hath he kept back anything from me but thee. You see that master said I can have anything up in here but his wife.
>> I can have any I can get I can do anything up in here but don't mess with my wife.
Read on because thou art his wife.
>> But because you you his wife. Go ahead.
How then can I do this great wickedness?
>> You said that you want to ask you woman.
You asking me to do this great wickedness. I'm not doing that. Read on.
Why? Watch what he said. Why he not going to do it though? Go ahead. Read.
>> And sin against God.
>> You see that? And sin against God.
>> Joseph said, "Look, I'm not going to sin against God. I ain't doing it. I'm not going to go against my God because what?
It's a judgment. It's a judgment for that." He probably gonna get kicked out of he he probably knew it was over for him and Pharaoh. I mean, not Pharaoh in his master's house, right? Then, he probably know it was already over because if you refuse the woman, she going to make up a lie. And if you go ahead and get it, you still going to die. You know what I'm saying? So, it right then it was it was over. So, just like Susanna in the book of Susanna, she was like, "If I if I do this thing, I die. If I don't do it, I'm gonna die.
I'm g I'm g I'm gonna trust in the Lord.
I'm gonna go with the Lord and not do it and then after death I'll get the reward.
>> That's what Susanna said when you read the book of Susanna. Okay. All right.
So, Joseph was like, "Nah, I ain't I ain't going out like that. It ain't going out." So, because of he refused that, give me uh Genesis 41:39.
What did the Lord do to Joseph? He blessed him. He became he became right under Pharaoh in the whole he ruled the whole land.
Genesis chapter 41:39 >> Genesis 41:39 and Pharaoh said unto Joseph, for as much as God hath sold thee all this, >> there is none so discreet and wise as thou art.
>> Read on.
>> Thou shalt be over my house, >> and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled.
>> You see that? So, Joseph was the he ruled everything in Egypt, okay? But he he uh he stood by the Lord. He didn't he didn't just dive in that thing. I don't know if I don't said that, but he didn't get the instant gratification. He got the leg gratification because he got to rule the whole land and Lord's will, he going to get the kingdom. Joseph going to get the kingdom. Okay. All right.
Give me 1st Samuel chapter 24 verse4.
Now y'all know the story of uh uh uh David and Saul. So Saul got jealous of David, right? Saul got jealous of David because they went to war. Y'all remember that or y'all don't remember?
Y'all have no clue? Okay, we got to read it then. Give me 1st Samuel chapter 18 verse 6. 1st Samuel chapter 18 and verse 6 real quick.
>> 1st Samuel chapter 18 and verse 6. And it came to pass as they came when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistines.
>> When David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistines, read on.
>> That the women came out of all cities of Israel singing and dancing to meet King Saul with tabs, with joy, and with instruments of music.
>> So we had just came back from a battle.
King Saul and David, they had just slaughtered the Philistines. Everybody celebrating, the women dancing with tamarind, everybody happy, right?
Because we had just won the battle.
>> Go ahead. And the women answer one another as they played and said, "Saul has slain his thousands."
>> Saul slain thousands. Go ahead.
>> And David his 10,000.
>> But David killed 10 thousands. So they singing and dancing. Saul didn't kill thousands. David did kill 10 thousands.
Go ahead. And Saul was very raw. Saul got jealous.
He's like, "Hold up now. You saying thousands for me, but him? You saying 10,000?" So So Saul got jealous. Go ahead. And the saying displeased him, and he said, "They have ascribed unto David 10 thousands, >> and unto and to me they have ascribed but thousands."
>> Read. And what can he have more but the kingdom?
>> He said now he saying okay they said this now he gonna take the kingdom. What kind of evil thinking is that? Go ahead.
>> And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
>> Yeah. You know what some of y'all do that stuff sometime? And what you got to do when your when it pop when evil thoughts like that pop in your mind?
What you got to do? You got to you got to you got to bring yourself into subjection to God law. The scripture say chariot thinkketh no evil. You got to be like, "Oh man, hold up. I'm thinking evil is a big dog, man. I'm thinking evil." Oh man, I got the devil on me. I got to I got to I got to change my way.
Scripture say, "Char think of no evil.
I'm evil."
So, all right. So, that's that's the history of what happened. So, no, no, no. Read on down. So, Saul tried to kill David. Go ahead, read on.
>> Verse 10. And it came to pass on the tomorrow that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul.
>> And he prophesied in the midst of the house. And David played with his hand >> as at other times. Read.
>> And there was a javelin in Saul's hand.
>> So he was so mad he took a javelin. You know what a javelin is?
>> It's like a big spear.
>> Godamn.
>> Go ahead. And Saul cast a javelin, for he said, "I will smite David even to the wall with it."
>> And threw a javelin at the man just be he got jealous because the women was praising David. That's some evil.
>> That's some evil stuff right there. He threw a spear at the brother. Now, if somebody throw a spear at you, which I don't give a rip who they what you going to say, man, man, this I got to get him before he get me.
>> He trying to kill me.
>> This hate my guts. He tried to hit me with a javelin. Go ahead. And David avoided out of his presence. So >> David David, he he got out the way. The spear didn't hit him and he avoided twice. Okay. Now, skip over down to uh chapter 24 and verse 4. Chapter 24 and verse4.
>> 1st Samuel chapter 24 and verse4.
>> And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the Lord said unto thee, >> "Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand."
>> See that? So, uh, so David went on a run, right? David went on a run from Saul. Then bam, it comes a time. The men of David said, "Hey, look, the Lord, we we got him. We got him. He right here. Let's get him." Read that part again. And the men of David said unto him, "Behold the day of which the Lord said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand."
>> You said, "I've delivered thy enemy into thy hand." Read on.
>> "That thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee." So the man telling David, "Okay, there he is right there."
You You ever see the movie like, "Man, I know where they at.
>> There he is right there, man. Let's get him. Go ahead."
>> Then David arose and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privly.
>> So David went over there. Saul was asleep, I think, and he cut off he cut off a piece of his robe.
Go ahead.
>> Verse five. And it came to pass afterward that David's heart smoked him because he had cut off Saul's skirt.
>> Read.
>> And he said unto his men, "The Lord forbid that I should do this thing unto my master." You see that? He said, "Look, no, I ain't doing I'm not going to get that instant gratification. Then the Lord judge me." No, I ain't doing it. I ain't going to kill him. Go ahead.
The Lord's anointed to stretch forth my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord. He said, "Look, I can't I can't scr scratch forth my hand because he is the anointed of the Lord cuz I'm going to be judged." He said, "I can't get that setification of killing him and then bam, it's going to happen to me. So, I got to I got to put it in the hands of the Lord. I got to let the Lord deal with it. I got to I got I can't get this reward right here. I got to let the Lord deal with it." Okay. All right. Go ahead. Verse seven. So David stayed his servants with these words and suffered them not to rise against Saul.
>> You see that? And he told everybody else, "Leave Saul alone." So that's one time he could have killed Saul. Uh give me s uh 1st Samuel 26 and 7.
>> 1st Samuel chapter 26 and verse 7.
>> Let's go.
>> So David and Abashai came to the people by night.
>> And behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench.
>> So they see him again.
He sleep in the trench. Go ahead. And his spear stuck in the ground at his boaster.
>> And he had his spear stuck in the ground. He sleep. They didn't caught him slipping. They call that kitchen slipping.
>> They caught They caught him slipping.
The spear in the ground, he sleep. Go ahead. But Abner and the people lay round about him.
>> Then said Abashai to David, "God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day." Abisha said to David, "Hey, God delivered your enemy in your hand.
Let's kill him." Go ahead.
>> Now, therefore, let me smite him.
>> He said, "Let me kill him." You ain't want to do it. I'll do it. Go ahead.
>> I pray thee. I pray you, let me kill him. Go ahead.
>> With the spirit even to the earth at once.
>> He said, "I'm gonna stick this spirit through him and it gonna go in the ground." Go ahead.
>> And I will not smite him the second time. Mhm.
>> And David said to Abbasi, "Destroy him not."
>> What did David say?
>> "Destroy him not."
>> David said, "Don't kill him."
Yes, I get instant gratification to to get my revenge, but that ain't what the Lord want me to do. Now, if when you read the rest of the history, of course, you know, Saul ended up dying anyway.
David became king. But because David uh he resisted, he got blessed in the end. You know, he became king. The scripture say he going to sit on uh at the in the end day, David going to sit on his throne, the throne of David, Christ going to sit on the throne of David. So all praises to the most high. So, you have to you you also have to be able to deny your emotions cuz you got to understand you can make you can make uh give me that scripture real quick in Proverbs 25 about controlling your spirit.

>> You see that? You got to have rule over your own spirit. Yeah, sometime folk gonna say stuff to make you mad. But do you got to cuss him out? No. Do you got to be evil back to him?
>> No. You got to be able to have control of your own spirit. Go ahead.
>> He that have no rule over his own spirit. It's like a city that is broken down.
>> You see that? He that have no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down. Hey, give me that in 2 Samuel chapter 6 and verse 14. Let's let's see what the uh David's wife uh how you say her name.
>> Mia.
>> Mia. That's Am I saying her name right?
>> McCall. McCall. Let's see. When she got mad, did she control her spirit?
>> 2 Samuel chapter 6:14.
>> 2 Samuel chapter 6 and verse 14. And David danced before the Lord with all his might. Yeah.
>> And David was girded with a linen >> Ephodh.
>> So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting.
>> Read >> and with the sound of the trumpet.
>> So David got happy. He started dancing.
He thought on the covenant. They had the the ark of the covenant. He was remembering how the Lord chose him and chose us. So the David was celebrating.
Right. Go ahead. And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, McCall Saul's daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord. Read on.
>> And she despised him in her heart.

>> What happened?
What happened? Satan happened.
>> That's what happened. One time you you love a guy. You couldn't keep your hands off the guy.
>> [ __ ] You We got proof you got babies with him.

>> And she despised him in her heart.
>> And she despised him in her heart. Now, should she apply the laws of God right there? She didn't apply the laws when she despised the husband, she wasn't applying the laws of God. Right?
Remember, uh, hey, give me that in Proverbs 31, which say she should do him good.
A Proverb 31, woman going to do her husband good.

>> And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well as to the women as men, to everyone a cake of bread and a good piece of flesh and a flag of wine. So all the people departed everyone to his house.
Then David returned to bless his household. And McCall the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said, "How glorious was the king of Israel today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the handmmaids of his servants."
>> You see that?
>> So she So she didn't disrespected her husband. Ah, you think you something, huh?
>> How How to say that today?
>> You made a fool out yourself. showing up.
>> You just showing yourself disrespecting her husband, right? The the man jumping for the Lord, right?
Dancing for the Lord. Oh yeah, you didn't.
>> Look, you didn't just made a fool out of yourself dancing.
>> Just disrespected her. This is the king.
This her husband. Guess who king and you you married sister's house? Your husband, that's his household. So you disrespect your husband. It's not good.
It's bad. It's not good. It's bad. Go ahead. As one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovered himself. Go back.
You see what she did?
>> She disrespected the king.
>> She pointing all imagine now the Bible's written nice.
>> Imagine how she was being disrespectful >> to the husband. And a lot of sister do it today. You're disrespectful to your husband, making smart comments, all that stuff. We don't want to hear that garbage.
We don't want to hear it. You want to hear it, Ari?
>> No, sir.
>> We don't want to hear that garbage. What about you, Ellie? You want to hear that garbage?
>> No, sir.
>> No, we don't want to hear the smart remarks or nothing. If we say, if we say we're going to do this right here, we don't want to hear all that.
>> Shut up.
>> The decision I already made.
>> Decision. So if I say I I'm this is what I'm going to do. It is what it is.
>> No discussion.
>> It ain't no 50/50 in the Bible.
>> It's negotiated.
>> That's America.
>> The man rules over his wife according to the scriptures. Y'all got it.
>> Yes, sir. You can say something, sir.
>> Hey, you know, you brought out on history of Susanna, right?
>> Uhhuh.
>> So Susanna was humble. You know what I'm saying? You got to think about it. This sister is being on she's on trial, right? Two men are calling her a [ __ ] Now the whole city believing and all everybody calling her a [ __ ] right?
And not one time did she try to justify herself and she facing death and the Lord delivered her from that. But we can't even do that with each other.
>> You know what I'm saying? You I got something wrong about you. You got to tell me off. Or the husband say something to the wife, she got to correct them. Susanna didn't roll like that and she got saved.
>> Say it in the mic, bro.
>> Check chick check. Yeah. Captain Day's sister said she gonna correct Captain Baniah.
>> She g she Yeah. Yeah. Uh so we was going over modest dressing, right? The sister had on basically no clothes. She was an older sister. She had kids, right?
>> Three kids, >> right? And then you know Cap read the scripture that say you can tell a person by their attire. She said, "Well, you tell me what you see and I'mma correct you."
>> I was nice though.
>> You were You was very nice >> cuz I could have really went in. But she was humble. That's why I was nice. Had she been real bucking hard, I would have went in.
>> But she was she was kind of humble, right? She was kind of humble. So, I didn't I didn't I didn't go in hard on it. But she she was she was dressed like a hoe, y'all. She had on some real old short shorts on, a tank top, and all that. And she asked me, "So, so what I look like?" I said, "I'm going be honest, sis. You look like you asking somebody to come and get it.
>> That's what you look like." I was being nice though.
>> I said, "You don't look like" She said she was married. I think she was lying.
I don't think she was married.
>> Oh god, this guy here. I said, "I'm going be honest with you." Say you look like you work at uh Big Lots. You look like you work at Big Lots. And you you know, you saying come get it.
>> And she said, "Well, you no, I work at >> Ashley >> and it's hot in there. That's why I'm dressed like this. Sure, sis. Sir, sure, sis. You dress like that cuz you hot.
>> WOMEN always say that though, though.
>> I can't wear no dress. It's too hot out here.
What does that mean?
>> What's that mean? What does that mean?
No, you you wearing them pants cuz the white woman taught you that.
>> That Who taught you that garbage? Well, anyway, go back. How she was disrespecting her husband?
>> Yes, sir. Verse 20.
>> Uhhuh. Then David returned to bless his household. And McCall the daughter of Saul came back.
>> So David, now think about what the H doing now. The H just went blessed all Israel. Came back to bless his house.
And there go the big mouth black woman.
>> At the door ready to she had been waiting all day. I'm gonna tell him by himself when he get here.
>> Damn.
>> So David walk in. He full of the joy of the Lord. He just got through dancing.
Go ahead. Three. Then David returned to his household, and MCL, the daughter of Saul, came out to meet David >> and said, "How glorious was the king of Israel today." How glorious was the king of Israel today.
>> She's being sarcastic.
>> You know what I'm saying? She's being She's being disrespectful to the king.
Go ahead. Who uncovered himself today.
>> Now, you didn't uncovered yourself today. Showed yourself off dancing in front of all them women out there. Go ahead. In the eyes of the handmmaids of his servants.
>> In the eyes of all these mm and these folk beneath you. You out here just dancing. Mate, you look like a fool.
>> You're acting like a fool.
>> Go ahead.
>> As one of the vain fellows.
>> As one of them stupid fellows. That's what she saying.
>> You made yourself look like a fool.
>> Telling the king this now.
She went in on David.
>> Now, let's see what kind of reward she got, though. If she go to get a reward for going in on her Lord, you sister get ready to go in on your Lord, you need to reconsider. You don't know who you talking to. That's your key to the kingdom. He got to He get right.
You You get to ride his tail on in the kingdom. You don't think about that, though.
You you try to disreil you try to derail your ride to the kingdom.
That make any sense.
>> The the car on the way to the kingdom.
>> You grab a damn wheel and don't make no sense, y'all.
>> You supposed to keep that car running straight.
>> That's some good stuff right there.
>> I came up with that on my own.
You need to be putting some good fuel in the in the car to keep the car going.
Keep the car going so you can get THE SALVATION. Y'ALL GET IT?
>> Don't try to disrespect the man and beat the man down. Is the man going to make mistakes sometime? He probably is. But ain't your job to to to rebuke him.
>> No, he going he going to learn. Sometime we learn slow. Sometime we learn slow.
But you know most of the time I I don't know sometime our wives think the Lord to put all this divine wisdom on them >> and then put it on us.
>> Skip to us go straight to you. Help.
I know my wife get mad at me sometime. I be like so where you get all this great wisdom from?
She'd be mad as a mug, bro. I Oh, really? Where you get all this great wisdom from?
>> Like, remember I got your food?
>> Yeah. I believe you lost some good deer.
>> Like, where you get all this great wisdom?
>> Well, we just skip me. Great to you.
All right. Where we at, David?
>> Uh, we finished note 20.
>> Read it from the top again.
>> Yes, sir. Then David returned to bless his household. And MCL, the daughter of Saul, came out to meet David and said, "How glorious was the king of Israel today, >> who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the handmmaids of his servants."
>> It ain't no time you should be disrespectful to your >> No. Even if he make a mistake, even if he's smoking crack, you ought to say, "Hey, look, I know he's smoking crack. I'mma trying to get you into rehab." Okay, >> that's it.
>> Because remember that's your key. That's your your your ticket >> to the kingdom. So if you you got to remember what the scriptures say, if your husband obey not the word, you got to win him back over. Your husband obey the word, you got to try to get him back. You know that's all you got. I'm going to show I'm going to prove it.
Read on.
>> As one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovered himself.
>> So she disrespected him. Go ahead.
>> And David said unto MCL, it was before the Lord which chose me before thy father.
>> So that's why we go to explaining it. I was having a good time. I was dancing before the Lord that chose me. Chose us.
>> You're supposed to be happy, too. Go ahead. and before all his house >> to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel.
>> Go ahead.
>> Therefore will I play before the Lord.
>> And I will yet be more vile than thus.
>> You see that?
>> Now David got bit off.
>> He said, if that's being vowed, I'mma be more vile.
>> Go ahead.
>> And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be based in mine own sight.
>> Read on. and of the maid servants which thou hast spoken of. Of them shall I be had in honor. You see that? He he said they they honor me, but you >> you disrespected me. And guess what David did? Because she disrespected her.
I don't think David touched her no more.
>> He ain't touching no more.
So, you know, it was it's an honor for your husband to lay with you. Hey, Cap, you want verse 23?
>> Yes. Go ahead.
>> Therefore, McCall, the daughter of Saul, had no child unto the day of her death.
>> Therefore, since she disrespect her husband, she ain't have no children. No children to day or day. Cuz I, you know, the scripture don't say he didn't touch her. But you know why? She ain't have no kids.
>> They ain't touch her. That's Hey, if if you women start disrespecting the man, look, I ain't touching you no more.
You know, back then David had many concubine. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, we ain't David. I feel you.
But, >> you know, you know, I seen a video.
I'mma leave that. I ain't going to say that. You make folk mad. Go ahead, bro.
You got some.
>> I was just about to say that's a great honor to have a child for a king and she never got to do that.
>> No.
>> And everybody know that was her his wife.
because of her disrespect.
>> Her disrespect. So she got that instant gratification for telling him off. She felt good in her flesh. But she ain't But what what the end result was? What?
>> No. No child. David probably put in a shack back on the land somewhere and never never went to see her no more.
>> This is a king. You disrespect the king, you can even walk up the kings.
>> He had to hold out the golden scepter >> or you got put to death. You can't just be walking up on no king. You got put to if you walk up on the king, the dude put a bag over your head.
>> You couldn't do stuff like that. Then you going to You think you sund dancing in front of you think you this and you made yourself look like a fool.
>> Okay. Oh, you saying this to me?
>> I did it before the Lord and I'm gonna look like a fool again and never touched her again.
>> She ain't had no kids. All right. So now, all right, give me uh give me Ecclesiastes chapter 7 and verse 8.
Ecclesiastes chapter 7 and verse 8. So remember, you got to keep under your flesh and bring it into subjection. So when you feel like So sister, when you feel like you want to disrespect your husband, what you got to do?
You got to control yourself. You got to control your spirit. You can't do that.
You can't you can't disrespect your husband because it's evil and it's wrong. Go ahead.
>> Ecclesiastes chapter 7 and verse 8.
>> Huh?
>> Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.
>> You see that? Better is the end of a thing. I always think about the ending when you get ready to make a decision like me. I'm I think about that all the time. The ending of something. I remember my my buddy Cap Den. Shout out to Captain Den. He said, "Hey, I'm f to start this trucking business, right?"
My thoughts is like, "Okay, you fa buy a truck, right? Well, what if the truck break down?" That's just how I think, you know? Okay, what if the truck break down? what are you gonna do? Can you buy some type of plan or something? Like when the truck break down, you can get it fixed. He's like, man, I don't know.
I was like, I'm just saying I always think like that. That's why I don't make a lot of moves. So, I probably I don't know. I don't know if I ever be a successful business owner, you know, cuz I'm always thinking about the bad stuff that can happen and I'm trying to set stuff in place. That's why I always tell y'all to get triple A. You know, y'all heard me say get triple A, right? Get triple A because if something happened now, none of y'all don't never get triple A. You know, but you know, at least I told you, you know, and when you need a toe, it pay for itself one toe, you know. Look, look, everybody here get a nobody got a jack. Nobody got but me.
>> No, no, got it.
>> Uh oh, YOU GOT YOUR AO. WHAT?
>> OH, PRAISE. OH, PRAISE. NOW, hold up.
Uh, Becky, you recently had to use Triple A, didn't you?
>> Yes, sir.
>> So, what happened?
>> Test test. Yeah, man. I had to use it here just recently, man. Got caught up on the trace. Car broke down.
>> Guess what? One call, that's all.
>> Oh, you ain't got the What's the the gold?
>> You got the gold plate. Oh, man. You got the top of the line. Yes, sir.
>> Yeah, man. So, all praises, man. Good stuff. So, I I didn't use Triple A uh uh several times. Matter of fact, we had a sister. I don't see her here today.
I don't know. She at She work. Okay. So, sister call me and Sister Cardia about 3:00 in the morning. Ring ring ring ring ring.
I'm asleep. Sister Kel get up. Hello my car. I'm on a I'm on a flat, sister.
I'm on a flat out here by uh uh Toyota place. I said, "Do she got triple A?"
Nope. Lord have mercy. She had no TripleA.
So I said, "Okay, I'm still going to try to help the sister." I called triple A on me. They went out there and helped them. I was going to get up and try to go help, but bro, they had already helped her, man. She was gone on her way. True story. That's not a lie.
That's not a lie right there. Uh, what what else happened? Maya hit a dog one time. Tow the whole front of the car up.
I said, "Lord have mercy.
I got to call the tow truck." Then I remember, you know, how the light bulb pop up.
>> I got triple A. I said, 'Well, you know what? My neighbor, he can fix it. I ain't trying to take it to no junkyard or nothing. I said, 'Okay, I'mma get Triple A to take it to the house and put in a driveway. And they do that. He come out there with the roll back, load it up after Maya had destroyed the car with the dog, >> destroyed it, >> put it in the driveway. I got my neighbor to come down there and Joshua been driving that car about three years now. OKAY.
ALL RIGHT. Shout out to Triple A.
>> So now I get to talking about Triple A.
I >> really really good.
>> Oh yeah. Think about stuff on the back end and not the front. Y'all got it? So now you might get that instant gratification up front, but think about the back end. Just like uh hey give me I sent you a chat GPT on one night stand.
>> So why do people do one night stand?
It's instant gratification, right? You get the >> you know, you get the >> you get the rocks off.
>> You get the cheeks slapped.
>> Boy, ain't no way.
>> Get the cheeks slapped. You get your you know, whatever. You get your lust fulfilled.
>> But what going to happen after the one night stand though?
>> Consequences. Sisters, you'll be a hoe.
>> Okay, brothers, you'll be a whoreonger.
brothers might get HIV, gorrhea, whatever. Crabs, all the brew waffle, >> all of that HPV, >> uh, all that stuff. Some of that stuff you can get by skin on skin.
>> Just skin on skin. You be like, "Well, we ain't do nothing." He just rubbed on me.
>> But now you got some evil stuff.
>> Hey, you see what I sent you?
>> Put it up, man. Okay. Now, this is just me asking chat GBT. Me and Chat be talking. Okay.
You see that Elliot?
>> Huh? Why people have one night stands?
People have one night stands for many different reasons. Usually it's a combination of emotional, physical, social, and psychological factors.
>> Most of the time, you're depressed.
You're lonely. You're not you're not thinking about the end of the action. I just want that second one right there.
Physical attraction.
>> Uhhuh. No, no, no. The second one right.
Instant. Oh, instant gratification. So, one of the reason that people had one night stand and I didn't tell chat to put this up. It just popped it up. I was like, damn, I'm talking about instant gratification.
That's one. That's why people have one night stand because you want it. You don't want to get married. You don't want to prove a spouse, uh, take the time to prove them, then get married, and then get to sex. You want it now.
Put it back up.
Instant gratification. They want immediate pleasure without the time commitment. You see that? They want immediate pleasure. You want immediate pleasure without the time in commitment.
Y'all understand? And I'm telling you, you married folks say say if you guys if somebody proven up in here, I'm telling you right now, it ain't going to be pleasure all the time. I think a brother said it's only about six minutes.
Six minutes. Okay. If you if Okay. Six.
Big Jayway said that on the show the other day.
>> Six bit. Okay. Where you going to do all the rest of the minutes?
>> That was fun.
>> Six minutes. Where you going to do all rest of the men? You y'all got to live together.
>> Y'all got to live together. Y'all got to eat together.
So, it's a real important thing on your proven to know if y'all compatible because six minutes is over.
>> Then what you going to do? Y'all going to fight for the next 1,000 minutes or more.
>> You know, it's it's a big thing. You know, I know folks that proven think they going to be having all this great sex all the time. It don't work like that in a marriage. It don't work like that in a marriage. And y'all ain't going to be doing all that garbage.
Y'all got to pay these bills. You know what I'm saying? Y'all got to live with one another. Y'all got to make each other happy. You know, or you going to have a miserable life.
>> You have a miserable life. It's going to be terrible.
>> Damn.
>> So, you got to you got to think about that.
>> Yes, sir. You can pull one, sir.
>> Hey, let me get to chapter 8 verse 7 going into exactly what you're saying, Cap. Um, you know, Bishop say it all the time. When you first get married, it's sparks flying. You got explosions happening, waterfalls, rockets taking off into the air. Y'all ever seen when Disney come on? When Disney come on, all the sparks, that ain't that's just TV.
That's TV. It don't last like that forever. But you know, when you when you get married for lust, then that's what the only thing you can think about. Read that.
>> Tobit 8:7.
>> And now, oh Lord, I take not this my sister for lust. M. So he say, I take not this my sister for lust. Go ahead.
>> But uprightly, >> go ahead.
>> Therefore, mercifully ordained that we may become aged together.
>> So what was he thinking about? He was thinking about the back end. He was thinking about delaying the gratification. He was saying, I got to live with this woman for the rest of my life. Does she have skills? Is he a mean man? Does he have a temper? Can we survive together? Can we have children?
and raise the children. Are we compatible? So if you get married for lust, then guess what? The rest of the marriage is gonna suck, man. And the rest of the marriage is the long part.
The rest of the the the the little pleasure that you have, that's just a short part of very, very short part of marriage. Very short part. But you got to be able to, you know, you got to be able to care for one another. You got to be able to pay the bill. You got to be able to cut the grass. If you in there having sex out, who cutting the grass?
The grass growled up outside.
>> Who going to work?
>> Who going to work? Who paying for this mortgage?
>> That ain't no reason to just get married. Okay, now you want that, of course. But you know, the older you get, it slow down. You look up, it been two weeks. You be like, "Oh, snap."
Then if you if you get married and have a girl, it's 80 days, ain't it?
>> 80 days. What you going to do in 80 days? Fight.
>> Fight the whole 80 days. What you going to do, man? I don't know why I married you.
>> I hate it here.
>> Whoa. Woo. Hey, give me Jame give me James chapter 1 vers12. The book of James chapter 1. Okay, I take Lord in this brother got going in over there.
>> James chapter 1 vers2. Come on.
>> James 1:12.
>> Huh?
>> Blessed is the man that endureth temptation.
>> You see that? Blessed is the man that endureth temptation. You might be tempted right now, but the scripture say, "Blessed is the man that endureth that temptation." Don't give in to it.
Go ahead. For when he is tried, >> he shall receive the crown of life.
>> Hey, because if he endure the temptation, he going to receive if he get through that, he's going to receive that crown of life. And some of that temptation is be like our forefather eleas trying to live a little longer.
Like if Esau walk up to me right now and say, "Look, if you say you're an Israelite, I'm going to pop you in the head.
I got to take my damn. I'm trying to get that reward."
Okay, go ahead. Which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
>> You see that? The Lord has promised us that gift if we love him. He promised us if you keep my commandments until the end, I'm going to give you eternal life.
I'm going to give you immortality.
Okay, go ahead.
>> Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God.
>> Don't say you tempted of God, God made me cuss my husband out.
>> God made me commit adultery. No, >> God made me do a one night stand.
>> The Lord know it's in my nature. You know, especially our black women on Tik Tok and stuff, they say that, you know what I to do? I heard a woman say, "Y'all want a woman? Y'all want a woman with some with with some experience?
Well, how I'm gonna get it if I don't get out there and TRY SOME STICKS OUT?" I said, "Wow, that's some evil stuff right there. How I'm going to get the experience so I can be good for you if I don't get out there and get the experience?" You stupid [ __ ] >> Oh my god. I say, "Wow, this is a stupid woman here." Okay, read again.
>> Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God.
>> Read, >> for God cannot be tempted with evil.
>> Read on.
>> Neither temptth he any man.
>> God don't tempt you. You, it's your own, it's someone inside of you. The sin is inside of you. You got to resist. You got to keep honoring your body and bringing it to subjection. Read on. But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust.
>> You see that? You tempted when you drawn away of your own lust. You committed uh you committed the sin because you was drawn away of your own lust. You saw it, you wanted it, and you got it.
Read that part again. But every man is tempted when he has drawn away of his own lust and enticed.
>> You see that? You was enticed. You was enticed. You got your laptop. You you you know you was bored. You was bored at night and you said, "Well, look, I'm going to go to big ones.com."
>> Big ones.com.
>> Damn.
>> And you you was enticed by the big ones.
>> So you was looking and the scriptures say the Lord say if you even look on a woman to lust after her, that's a you committed adultery.
That's sin right there. No. So you was enticed. You was enticed. Go ahead, Dale.
Then when lust hath conceived, >> it bringeth forth sin.
>> What happened? You It brings forth sin.
You entice. You go into it just like a one night stand. You at the restaurant by yourself. You see uh Ray Ray or whoever. What's her new name?
Devonte.
Devonte.
>> Gervante.
You see Javvante at the bar. You at the bar. You wearing what that sister had on today at camp. And Javvante say, "Hey, you know you looking good today." What you do?
>> H am I? You mind I sit with you? I can't control where you sit.
And brother sat over there. Then bam.
Let me buy you a drink.
Then it's going down. You was enticed.
You was enticed. And then it turned into sin. Y'all got it. Okay. I'm just telling you. That's how it go down. Go ahead. And sin when it is finished.
>> And sin when it is finished.
>> You in Javvante. Is it Javvante? You in Javvante. Sin when it's finished. Read.
>> Bringeth forth death. It bringeth forth death. That's what happened. Now it's whatever you want. Some of some of y'all is look, I don't want to keep the I don't want to come to the school no more. That might be your lust. I don't want to do it no more. And you you stay away and you you eventually go on into the world. You can't you can't you can't make this walk without the congregation, y'all. I hope y'all understand that. You can't do it by yourself. It's impossible. Satan too powerful. You need your brothers. That'd be like a a That' be like a buffalo living on his own. A a herd buffalo live on his own. No, he need the herd for protection. Because what happen when he by himself, he pray, he fooled. He fooled for the lions. But when he with the herd, he he got protection. You get by yourself, you fooled. Satan going to chop you up. We gonna see you on Instagram selling something. You know it's going down because you're in the midst of sin.
You need the congregation to for protection. Okay. Read on.
Is that it?
>> Yes, sir.
>> All right. Give me 2 Timothy chapter 2:12.
Second Timothy chapter 2 and verse 12.
Second Timothy chapter 2 and verse 12.
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. You see that? If we suffer, we shall reign with him. So if you endure, if you endure that temptation, you don't try to get the instant gratification, you going to reign with Christ. That what we want, right? Go ahead. If we deny him, >> he also will deny us. But if we deny him by giving in to the instant gratification, he's going to deny us and we're not going to get our reward. Now, don't we want the reward?
>> Yeah, we want the reward in the world to come. We want the world reward in the world to come. Give me Hebrews chapter 10 verse 36.
Hebrews chapter 10 and verse 36.
>> Hebrews chapter 10 and verse 36. Mhm.
>> For ye have need of patience, that after you have done the will of God, >> ye might receive the promise.
>> You see that you want the promise, right?
>> You got to have patience, right? In this life, you got to have patience. What the patience teaching, you know, uh keep the commandments with the faith of Christ.
Don't break that law. Don't break none of his laws. And then in the kingdom to come, you'll get a reward.
All right. Some of us it's just holding out till you get married or what not. It don't just hold out. These years go quick right now. I remember when I was 17.
I was like, man, how when all the years went, they go quick, y'all. So, if you young in the truth, it go quick. Don't give in to the lust of this world. Hold out. Be patient because this world is evil.
That's why the scripture say come out of her. Come out of Babylon. Come out of that mindset. Thank on the Lord. That's why uh shout out to uh Bishop uh we was talking on the show about imagery. So when when when they started doing marriages online and stuff, you know, I was like, why? Why? Why the leadership putting out these marriages and stuff?
Putting out these marriages. But think about it. Ain't nobody else doing it.
Ain't nobody glorifying marriage. The scripture say marriage is honorable, but is there anybody glorifying marriages?
You barely see a marriage on Tik Tok or Instagram.
>> He ain't lying.
>> Very rarely. I don't remember really seeing much >> unless it's a fight at the wedding or something.
>> If it's a fight at the wedding, okay, it's it's World Star is on something.
But if it's uh if it's just a regular old wedding, T Instagram, Facebook ain't f to promote that.
But the bishop, he understood imagery long time ago. That's why he put the images out, right? We need that imagery.
>> Okay. Did we finish that? David, >> read again.
>> Verse 36. For you have need of patience that after you have done the will of God, >> you might receive the promise.
>> You see that? You have to have patience.
You have to have patience. You have to not eat the the marshmallow right away.
You got to wait so you can get more marshmallows. Y'all got it. Go ahead.
Verse 37.
>> For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come and will not tarry.
>> Now the just shall live by faith.
>> All right, that's all I want. So just for a little while, y'all give me uh Romans chapter 2 and verse 7.
Romans chapter 2 and verse 7.
>> Romans chapter 2 and verse 7. To them who be patient continue >> read it again.
>> Excuse me. To them who be patient continuence in welloing seek for glory and honor and immortality.
>> You see that to that are you patient and in welloing? Read it again. I don't want to butcher it. To them who be patient continuence in welloing seek for glory and honor and immortality eternal life.
You see that? If you patient and welloing, you'll get that glory afterwards. But you, it's a it's a delayed gratification though. Cuz don't we all want to be happy?
But we think, you know, the flesh tells us that sin is going to make us happy.
But it's it's just a short. It's just real short.
But you don't get you'll lose your whole reward. You'll lose your whole world wward ward in the world to come. Is it really worth it? No, it ain't worth it.
You man, you ever be on a diet and you man, you devour a bag of chips or something? You know, I do. I have. I'm on a diet. I ate them chips. Man, that instant gratification was good.
>> Then I get on the scale the next day.
I'm like, dang, I done stopped my weight loss.
>> You know, and you like, man, I shouldn't have did that. Shouldn't have did it.
That's how it is when you break God laws. You So don't do it. Don't do it.
Read again, David.
>> To them who be patient continuence in welloing, seek glory and honor and immortality, eternal life.
>> You see that? You want to seek glory and honor and and immortality, eternal life.
That's what we need. Go ahead. But unto them that are contentious, >> and do not obey the truth, >> but obey unrighteousness, indignation, and wrath.
>> Ah, you see that? If you don't obey the truth, you're going to get indignation and wrath. Go ahead.
>> Tribulation and anguish >> upon every soul of man that doeth evil >> of the Jew first >> and also of the Gentile. All 12 tribes going to get going to get uh anguished.
They're going to get punished. All right. Last scripture. Give me Proverbs chapter 20 and verse 21.
Proverbs chapter 20 and verse 21.
Proverbs chapter 20 and verse 21. An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning, >> but the end thereof shall not be blessed.
>> Y'all hear that? An inheritant might be gotten hasty, but the end of will not be blessed. That made me think about a backdoor marriage. Read it again. An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning, >> but the end thereof shall not be blessed.
>> But the end thereof shall not be blessed. So, uh, instant gratification or delayed gratification. We got to be as repented Israelites, we must practice delayed gratification. You can't get it instantly. Y'all got it.
>> Across the earth, the prophets move from city streets to distant lands. The message is the same.
Israel must rise. Through every quest, every journey, the truth spreads.
No border can contain it. No distance can silence it. Our nation lives at every moment. In joy, we celebrate marriages. In sorrow, we honor our dead.
On the Sabbath, we gather as one.
Families rejoicing together. Bound by the commandments of God. Yet are we tried. From the stones in Kenya to the hatred in Montana, we endure as a soldier of the Lord.
And still the mission expands on the airwaves, on the screens, in every nation under heaven. Israel's voice is heard.
We build our communities. We raise our children in royalty.
We restore what was broken. We clean what was defiled.
We show the world who we are.
This is Israel united in Christ. Nation in motion. Nation endures.
