A woman when she is in labor has sorrow because her hour has come. But as soon as she has given birth to the child, she will no longer she no longer remembers the anguish. For joy that a human being has been born into the world. Therefore, you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. And in that day, you will ask me, you will ask me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you. Until now, you have asked me nothing in my name. Ask and you will receive, that your joy may be full. These things I have spoken to you in figurative language. But the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language. But I will tell you plainly about my father. In that day you will ask in my name and I do not say to you that I shall pray the father for you. [01:07:31]as a church. Today we are going to meditate one of the beautiful title the heart of a mother. The heart of a mother.

[01:07:57]Let me start with a small illustration.

[01:08:01]A six-year-old boy was separated from his mother in a supermarket.

[01:08:09]He began to call desperately for her, saying, "Martha, Martha, Martha."

[01:08:19]That was his mother's name.

[01:08:23]And she came running to him quickly.

[01:08:27]But honey, she admonished, you shouldn't call me Martha.

[01:08:34]I am your mother.

[01:08:37]Yes, I know, he answered.

[01:08:40]But this store is full of mothers.

[01:08:46]Dear brothers and sisters, children of God, our world is full of mothers. But we have only one mother who is special.

[01:08:58]There is no one like our mother and no one can take the place of our mothers.

[01:09:07]Mothers always comfort in our disappointment in our problems.

[01:09:14]There is a beautiful scripture verse in the Old Testament passage which we read already in the book of Isaiah chapter 66 verse 13. Can one of you read for me?

[01:09:28]Isaiah chapter 6 verse 13.

[01:09:47]As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

[01:09:58]Our God is a comforter.

[01:10:02]During the last days of ministry, Jesus said to his disciples, I will go to the my father and I will send you a spirit.

[01:10:15]I will send you a comforter to you. The comforter always be with you until the day of your life. He will be with you. His name is called the comforter. Here in the Old Testament passage, Isaiah Isaiah prophesies here, you shall be comforted like your mother.

[01:10:39]You shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

[01:10:43]Jerusalem is the city of the holy place.

[01:10:46]Jerusalem is like a church. Jerusalem is a holy place. Jerusalem is the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord our God says to us today, this morning time, you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. Amen.

[01:11:07]When a child is born, a small child, a mother holds her newborn with love and joy, and she forgets the pain of her labor.

[01:11:22]Jesus said himself in the book of John chapter 16 verse 21 gospel according to John chapter 16 verse 21 here Jesus said he's talking about the last days what will happen in the last days what will happen in the second coming of Lord Jesus Christ he said a woman when she is in labor has sorrow tomorrow because her hour has come. But as soon as she has given birth to that child, she has she no longer remembers the anxious for joy that a human being has been born into the world. What a good comparison Jesus compared about your mother. These are emotions from heaven.

[01:12:19]It is a such a sacred moment holding your newborn baby for the first time.

[01:12:26]For the very first time, your heart is automatically connected to this baby. This baby you have never met before. This is an unshakable connection.

[01:12:43]A new person, new baby born in this family.

[01:12:49]Mother holds the baby and the new baby is connected connected with her soul. It is unshakable connection. This love reflects Christ love for you and I.

[01:13:08]As your love for your children is fierce, passionate and unyielding, so is God's love for you.

[01:13:20]Your heavenly father delights in you.

[01:13:24]Your heavenly father loves you with all his hearts.

[01:13:29]He loves you more than your mother does.

[01:13:33]Amen. How many of you believe that? My father, my heavenly father, he loves me more than my mother. It is a true statement. Though your mother forsake you, I will not forsake you. I will be with you.

[01:13:53]You shall not be ashamed. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you.

[01:14:00]This is the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today as we meditate about the mother's day the heart of mother heart of a mother I'm going to divide into three important part the relationship with our mother the connection with the mother and the trust of the mother let me go one by one the love the mother's love comes from relationship it is a relationship love comes from relationship between mother and child.

[01:14:39]Remember that that this love is the foundation upon everything that is built.

[01:14:46]The connection is not only simply a beautiful moment. It makes it marks the beginning of a long lifelong relationship designed by God himself.

[01:15:01]The ability to love your children reveals deeply about how we are made in the image of God. He is our creator. We are created by our Lord and we are made to love deeply because we are deeply loved.

[01:15:21]We are showing his love to others.

[01:15:27]There is a beautiful loving scripture verse the book of Jeremiah chapter 31 verse3.

[01:15:36]The Lord has appeared of old to me saying yes I have loved you with an everlasting love.

[01:15:46]Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.

[01:16:05]It's a beautiful loving scripture verse.

[01:16:10]A mother desires to satis satisfy the needs of her child.

[01:16:18]This is not some superficial or selfish kind of desire. This is spiritually rooted.

[01:16:26]Joy is a reflection of the beautiful desire desire God has for us in his heart. As parents, our hearts desire the joy of our children.

[01:16:42]The happiness of our children should not be dictated of our circumstances or performance.

[01:16:51]It should ultimately flow from the understanding that they are unconditionally loved and accepted.

[01:17:01]Therefore, the prophet Isaiah declared in the book of Isaiah 43:4 Since you were precious in my sight, you have honored and I have loved you.

[01:17:25]Therefore, I will give men for you and people for your life.

[01:17:40]You are precious in my sight. Every one of us precious in his sight.

[01:17:48]God loves every one of you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves every one of us. We need to prioritize our children's happiness in our family. It is not rooted in their achievements but from their joy. It is from being known and loved.

[01:18:11]You need to priorit prioritize reflecting God's heart toward your children.

[01:18:20]I want to tell you a small illustration preacher Campbell Morgan. He is one of the beautiful preacher is a great preacher. He had four sons.

[01:18:36]All four of them doing God's work. They share the word of God. She preached the gospel of the Lord. One day as a family reunion, one of his friends asked one of his sons, "Who is the greatest preacher in your family?"

[01:19:00]And his the the son looked at his father. The father immediately replied, "Mother, my mother is the greatest preacher."

[01:19:12]Mother was the greatest preacher. Many mothers have done a lot of preaching to their children.

[01:19:20]Whether they considered it preaching or not, your mother is the greatest preacher.

[01:19:29]He she preached and he taught about the word of God about the Lord Jesus Christ. So she is the greatest preacher in your life.

[01:19:43]Secondly, mother's love, the heart of mother's love, the love comes from connection.

[01:19:52]Usually the love comes from not only relationship but at the same time love comes from connection.

[01:20:03]The love you feel when you hold your baby comes from the connection you have with the baby.

[01:20:13]The heart connection is the key ingredient to all good relationship in your life. The most fulfilled mothers are the ones that are heart connected and are lifelong leaders to their children. Mothers have a discipleship relationship with their children. This relationship is what leads to fulfilled and happy children.

[01:20:43]Children that are disciplined and taught how to be joyful will carry that into their adulthood.

[01:20:52]So don't focus on your child's performance or their perfection. This is not your job as a parents. Our job is to operate God's special role in their lives. Our role is to build a heart connection.

[01:21:14]Make your child feel safe around you.

[01:21:18]Create a space for them to be honest around you. Your relationship should have vulnerability about the faults and mistakes all the while making them feel loved.

[01:21:33]Make sure that your child knows that you are for them and you are never against them. You are always for them.

[01:21:44]Your children needs to know that.

[01:21:47]The book of Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10 here Lord gives us a beautiful promise word for us.

[01:21:58]Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

[01:22:28]This is the promise word. This is a blessing word. As a parents, we need to teach our children.

[01:22:36]He will strengthen you. He will help you and he will uphold you with his righteous right hand. This requests intentionally.

[01:22:47]You have to intentionally prioritize your heart connection.

[01:22:53]Build a foundation for your children so that they may have something to anger them throughout the storms of their life. Our foundation should be on the rock which is Jesus Christ.

[01:23:11]We are standing on the rock of Lord Jesus Christ.

[01:23:16]I would like to explain through a biblical illustration. Turn with me.

[01:23:21]Gospel according to Matthew 7 beginning from 24- 27 is a beautiful illustration for every one of us. I would like to read for you Matthew 7 beginning from 24. Therefore, whoever hears these saying of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. It was founded on the rock.

[01:24:05]But verse 26, but everyone who hears these saying of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell, and great was its fall.

[01:24:32]Dear brothers and sisters, dear children of God, I'm going to ask you today, the question is, are you standing on the rock? Are you standing on the rock of our Lord Jesus Christ? He is our rock.

[01:24:48]If you stand on the rock of Lord Jesus Christ, you never ever fell.

[01:24:54]God, the promise of the Lord Jesus Christ always be with you. That's what Paul the Apostle says in 1 Corinthians chapter 3 11. He says, "For no other foundation can anyone lay other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

[01:25:35]That is the promise for us. We are standing on the promise of the Lord.

[01:25:42]Jesus Christ is our promise. He is the true God. He is the living God. He shed his precious blood for you and he want he will come to us. He will come and visit us.

[01:25:58]Christ is the foundation of our family and is the connection between the mother and child with God as the head of our family. Mothers are the prayer warriors.

[01:26:14]We all know that my mother was a good prayer warrior also. Your mother also may be a good prayer warrior.

[01:26:25]Our church lot of mothers. Our church have lot of mothers.

[01:26:33]Every Thursday they are praying. Mothers are praying for you, for the church, for the family. Especially they they are praying for their children. So we need to pray appreciate for all the mothers.

[01:26:49]Thank you mothers for your prayers.

[01:26:52]Thank you mothers for your sacrificial life. Thank you for every support to this church and to this ministry. May the Lord bless you. And again a heart of mothers. I want to tell you one more important point. Love comes from trust.

[01:27:14]Without trust, you cannot love other person. Trust. According to 1 Corinthian 13 verse 7, it's a love chapter. 1 Corinthian 13:7 says, "Love always protects, love always trust, love always hopes, always pursues.

[01:27:52]Do you trust your children?

[01:27:55]A heart connected relationship is a relationship full of trust.

[01:28:01]A bond that makes the other person aware of your love. This love doesn't changed based on the circumstances.

[01:28:12]The love of Christ is everlasting and steadfast.

[01:28:17]This allows your children to be vulnerable around you because you have opened the door to love.

[01:28:27]Love allows your ch our children to be certain level of trust with you. That allows them to trust you because they know that you will look at him with a lens of love not not of judgment.

[01:28:47]You must intentionally create with you must intentionally create this atmosphere.

[01:28:56]Sometimes we will worry about our children's. My children didn't obey to me. Obedience.

[01:29:04]Some of us looking at for the immediate obedience. As a parents, most of the parents they are looking at immediate obedience of your children.

[01:29:16]Instead of trying to build immediate obedience, we as parents need to build a stronger connection, stronger connection with our Lord.

[01:29:29]Immediate obedience might benefit us temporarily, but a strong connection leads us throughout our life. The way your children look at you is more important than how they behave you. Our goal is not to build obedient children.

[01:29:50]Dear parents, our goal is to raise children that know how to love. This love that we nurture is that maintains the relationship out of heart connection and not of obligation.

[01:30:08]Sew the seeds of your heart connection between mother and children so that you may be able to lay a foundation for a lifelong relationship with your child.

[01:30:24]The discip disciplehip we should desire our from our children is meant to train, discipline, instruct and guide our children into adulthood.

[01:30:38]A mother's relationship with her children is defined by love, care, protection and discipline. On the contrary, a child's relationship with mother is defined by love, obedience, respect and honor.

[01:30:59]What about your family? What kind of relationship between mother and the child?

[01:31:07]We need to talk about we need to teach about Jesus Christ. We need to teach about the word of God. Today as we celebrate the mother's day, remember love your children and teach your children how to love our God, how to love others, how to love the neighbors, how to respect other people.

[01:31:34]As a mother, we need to teach our children.

[01:31:37]Thank you for the mothers. the your life. Thank you for the burdens. Cast all your cares upon him for he cares upon you.
