This video presents a pitch for a versus battle between Flowers (a parasitic entity in Roblox that manipulates game environments and NPCs) and Serverblight (a hive mind in Team Fortress 2 that assimilates players into a writhing mass), exploring how both entities continuously learn, adapt, and evolve through their interactions with players and each other, representing a 'good versus evil' matchup where intelligence and adaptation determine the outcome rather than traditional power stats.

Flowers VS Serverblight (The Whistle Occurrence VS Serverblight) | Nebula Theatre Pitch!Added:
All right. So, um, obviously this will be recorded. You know, you're doing it, not me. Unfortunately, this is the pitch for flowers versus server blight. One of my favorite matchups.
>> We did talk ABOUT THIS.
>> Y OH MY GOD, WE DID. YES. I'VE BEEN WANTING TO LEARN ABOUT THIS ONE. OH MY GOD. SORRY. SORRY. SORRY. You could get excited ABOUT ONE OF THE PITCH. I could get excited about this one. Yes.
>> All right. I don't know who Flowers is.
I'm excited to learn.
>> Oh, this will be um this will be a good one. So, unfortunately, before we do have to start, there is a little bit of an elephant in the room that we have to get. This fight is a little bit weird.
It's not like a generic like, oh, character A punches character B with powers included. or nor is it something like Light versus Columbbo where it's going to be like dragged out for say like 30 minutes or so. Uh the two of these characters live inside of completely digital environments. So the focus of the fight is basically coming down to how they bounce off each other inside of that environment. In return, I think the potential for this fight is something that you'll never really see at all in exchange for a bit of a differentesque fight in in in short terms. It's a very cool idea basically.
But [ __ ] no [ __ ] Well, anyway, with that out of the way, we can actually get on to the characters starting with flowers.
Flowers itself is an entity of generally unknown origin that started to manifest within the Roblox platform as a whole.
People had report people had reported occurrences of this thing just manifesting into whatever server, private or not, public, it doesn't matter, and just causing [ __ ] to hit the floor. Basically, it's able to do things like completely turn the game into red and black, change the lighting to whatever it wants, completely throw people around like toys, even able to steal accounts and mimic people to an extent. It's not very good at that, and overall just be a parasite on the platform that Roblox themselves, despite being aware of it, have continuously failed to kill.
and has been stated by an ex employee dur from an interview by someone we'll get into later that no matter what it did, it would always just come back.
Some powers that it includes, which I had already brought up before, are the ability to hijack people's accounts and shapeshift its body into impossible degrees that shouldn't be even should [ __ ] this shouldn't even be able to be possible in a engine like Roblox itself.
But its main ability is the whistle, which is just a whistle that's generally a big slurry of high-pitched sounds that can cause people to experience multiple side effects. Like one person, Torchwood YT, who is a YouTuber that had admitted to bandivating six different times, which will come back into play later, had died to the whistle after experiencing it for a couple of seconds and immediately died because of his seizure. things such as BFR being able to send people wherever the hell it wants or just be there but not also be there in in the form of becoming the skybox if that makes sense.
Flowers itself has run rampant, killing people throughout the entirety of the platform for well almost 10 10ish years with zero signs of it ever stopping.
When the per when the dude in purple, Aiden and his friend Owen, who's also green, I didn't mention him, I didn't bring him up in here because I forgot, had investigated Flowers, what they got in return was Aiden accidentally getting roped into something that had never been documented before with the end result being nearly dying to the whistle due to being hospitalized at the end of the encounter. But Flowers had also gotten into his systems via his Wi-Fi despite them being extra secure.
Anyone who has ever genuinely tried to mess with flowers has always come back worse as a result. Flowers just keeps growing stronger and keeps coming back no matter what happens. And you might be thinking to yourself, "Wow, this thing has been doing that all on its own."
Fear not, it does have help to an extent. in the form of its NPCs.
NPCs are highly mass- prodduced and high things. We're not really sure what they are. They're just the default Roblox character with clothes, skin, etc., but don't possess anything in their hierarchy, also known as children.
kind of kind of a bad connotation to have those two things. But they randomize in function and appearance with the majority of them just walking around saying things, having interactable dialogue or having ones that aggressively chase after anyone that get close to something to these to these NPCs um are basically children to flowers and will extremely will oh my god I can't speak sorry will act extremely aggressively to anyone who generally tries to mess with them say pushing off an NPC killing them attacking them so on and so forth anything that happens to these NPCs flowers immediately retaliates back at the aggressor with god knows what what it has in mind but different kinds of NPCs that we've seen before are ones that just roam around. Don't do anything. Something that should be noted for the default NPCs though, their faces kind of boil.
They kind of move around like a viscous liquid very slowly, but it is possible to see. These things aren't necessarily an NPC that you would see in a game.
There's also the aggressive one, which flies around with its head split open, screaming at whoever comes near it.
Aiden was able, or was the only person in fact to have actually documented this kind of NPC, implying there are more that we just don't know of.
The majority of them are kind of useless, although except for the aggressive one. But doesn't really matter when Flowers itself is such a threat to the platform that its very existence has torn the RP or PR, sorry, of Roblox down with it for as long as it's continued to exist. For as every day that it's continuously here on the platform learning and growing, the larger of a threat it will become to you and me as well. Nothing has ever been able to kill it fully. Nor does the solution that people have tried in can in canon really seem to have worked. No matter what has happened, Flowers has always been there. Harassing people to the point of doing it for straight up multiple months on end, driving someone to the point of just leaving the platform and having zero contact outside whatsoever.
Anything that happens is because of it and it will continue to do that because in a sense it is kind of act out only when someone else has done something bad in results.
No matter what happens, it will always be there. It will always be learning and continuing to feed off the platform that continues that continues to give it the privilege of existing. No matter what happens or whatever happens, flowers will always be there learning and growing more and more with z see seemingly zero way to stop it whatsoever.
If that's the end of the flower section.
>> At the very beginning, I was going to be like, "Is this a real thing?" But then as you explained it, I was like, "All right, all right. I get it. It's an ARG, isn't it?"
>> No, no, kid. It's just an ARG. Calm down.
Yeah, we could we could really uh we could really frighten some kids with this episode. Depending on depending on how we play it, like if we play it like it's real, >> that would be [ __ ] hilarious. Um on on topic of the six month thing, um multiple other people were there when Flowers decided to attack that person that I went after for months, and they all came out generally pretty spooked.
Um the first or I think second video in Canon technically um was an account ran by or owned actually by two kids and once um once I guess after after flowers had done its thing um the kids had come back to their mom and just terrified of the platform itself.
It's a it's an extremely fun idea because flowers is very up to interpretation of what it truly is. So you could you can make them you can make the like oh it's an allegory to blah blah blah or X and Y. It's a lot of open-endedness which I think some people would be kind of turned off with if that makes sense.
But I think what there is of flowers, I think flowers and flowers as a character is extremely interesting because it's not just like, oh, it's it's like Sonic.exe. It's the evil thing in my game that's going to kill me.
>> Sorry, I kind of went on a tangent there.
Is there anything else?
>> No, no, no. I don't think I have anything right now.
>> It feels pretty straightforward. Uh, at least in terms of like everything you displayed so far, there's nothing that's too like complex to understand, you know.
>> Yeah. All right. Thankfully, um, thankfully that that went well. Um, so we can actually get on to the server blight. out the server blight and sometime in 2024 inside of a empty game of Thunder Mountain or that one payload map with the two points on it. Um, a person by the name of Aaron or nicknamed Dixelot joined this this server to be greeted with nothing, just nothing with the payload cart barely at the final point.
And when he joins the p the first thing he's greeted with is a person by the name of Gillisu telling him to kill himself and that's the only thing he will ever say. Upon more investigation getting closer to the payload card. Um he comes across Gillysuit but Gillysuit is moving in a way that shouldn't even be possible in Team Fortress 2. He's actually moving as if he's in the game itself. This is only one of the few effects of the server blight, which is a huge hive mind of just amalgamated Team Fortress 2 players. It's in a sense like the thing, but if the thing had a broader reach, if that makes sense.
Some of the abilities, because I wasn't able to actually include them all, include being able to disorient limbs to a point where they can be as twice as tall as they are long or long as the character is tall. It doesn't really matter. Or even give characters limbs that they shouldn't have, such as directions, who we'll get into later, or you'll see up later. having basically like a coat of arms over them.
There's assimilation which is the process of what happens to people who are unfortunate enough to get at least touched by the server blight. They're consciousness soul. It's not very specific, nor did the creators really get into that. But what happens is once you are touched by the server blight, you're basically inside of the game like Gilly Suit was. It's just huge writhing mass of other people unfortunate enough to have gotten trapped in the game with you just there writhing in pain which it does happen to get off on unfortunately.
There's also the act of being able to prevent people from leaving unless and the only proven way to have escaped is to throw yourself off the map in some degree to the point where it can't reach you without it killing itself.
Assimilation is one step to how the server blight will rope you in with that being the the second part being being completely able to basically have you completely focus on whatever your screen is to the point where you can't even really look away.
Um, it's able to stop things such as pill binding or Yeah. [ __ ] Oh my god. It's it's able to prevent people from killbinding or leaving the game or per se making a report for someone breaking rules of making the Team Fortress 2 terms of service. Blighted themselves or infected players. I'm going to bounce across the two are all within L are all linked within each other which the server bllight can use at will. The majority of them are typically just roaming there, not really doing much. But if the server blight or in that case other infected people happen to come across you, they're able to chase you as if they were actually in the video game compared to like the scout running normally in Team Fortress 2. They're able to be completely dormant, but in exchange can actually be used as security cameras, such as uh Five Nights at Freddy's with the security system where you can look at different points across different servers to see if someone else has joined. It doesn't matter if a max server size is reached, the server blight can still invade with multiple blighted. And it is shown that larger blighted or people combined to one larger mass all join in at the same time. So you can't even like max a server out without it somehow breaking in.
There are multiple different kinds of assimilated players. Sometimes they just range from being completely sentient, who we'll get into later, and Gilliesuit in the middle, who had kind of been 50/50 because the only real experience that we have with Gillies is him being able to just outsmart the server blight, but in exchange only really being able to tell people just, oh, you have to kill yourself or you have to blah blah blah. And then but the and then the majority of them are mindless drones that just carry out a function if that makes sense.
It's able and willing to completely drag games out for hours and mentally break people down to their very core until it's able until it's until they're open enough to go in for a kill. It's able to recognize and remember people and even get or even adapt to how some people outsmart the server blight by escaping it. And one map with the big pit, it's a capture the intell, it's a captures the flag map with the big pit in the middle.
Um, in a recent showing, it had learned that people were jumping down and had stashed an infected like a huge infected under the bridge. So when anyone had tried to jump off, it would immediately grab them before they could kill themselves. It is incredibly smart and able to understand complex things such as religion, emotional emotional things or oh my god it's it's able to understand how people work if that makes sense.
>> Yeah. Like the like the one example that you use with the engineer and the demo man. The so for context like the demo man is like conscious and the server blight purposely puts him in front of that saw to terrorize the other two uninfected characters >> because he's able to actually feel it.
Yeah.
>> Yeah. So like it's sadistic and it knows what makes us tick.
It's incredibly It's incredibly good at making people just give up. However, we do have to talk about the smart ones like directions who I brought up with the extra limbs and Savior. Directions is kind of an anti-blooded if if that makes sense. Directions whole character is preventing people from being able to be assimilated by it. She is able to fight assimilation at the cost of excruciating pain, but she is one of the only nondirectly conscious not directly, sorry. She's one of the only characters that we've seen the server blight not directly give consciousness to, unlike Savior.
Savior is a extremely religious man who had played Team Fortress 2 to kill the time and one day he had come across the server blight. Normally people would be going, "Oh my god, what is that? I have to get away from it." But the Savior, this was God or the second coming of God, whatever. I don't actually remember specifically. He he thinks the server blade is God. And in exchange for understanding server or not server blade savior's attitude towards it, the server bllight had granted him full consciousness over his body. Meaning he's not suffering like the majority of other people do because he is given a purpose and a function to assimilate more people or talk them into getting assimilated by the server blight. He's an incredibly smooth talker all things considered and has definitely been a extreme player in the server blight's influence growing. Now the server blight is malicious. We know we know that's malicious, but it's not as malicious or it's more malicious than people think. When Dixelot had unfortunately played a game of Team Fortress 2 with his friend Matt, they didn't know that the server blight was in it. Unfortunately for Matt, after a small but two second long encounter where he had walked into a different room, Matt wasn't with us. He was simply just a pawn. And that pawn is a part of a much greater board of the server blight. The server blight is the mass of everyone that it's assimilated in excruciating pain with Matt only really being just another one. We don't really know how many of the how many people have ever been assimilated, but it continues to grow and it continues to enjoy getting off on the pain that it inflicts on other people trying to fight back or fight away to somewhere safe that it they can get away from it. No matter what really happens, the server bllight is just there. it will continue to unnecessarily infest people just for the sake of fulfilling a purpose that doesn't really understand. Even though it knows what it's doing, there's there's just no stopping it. No matter what happens, it's just it it's just it's just always going to be there. It will assimilate more and more and more until there's no one left to play Team Fortress 2. It's the conclusion of a game that refuses to die when the game itself doesn't want you to kill it. No matter what, Team Fortress 2 will always have people and those people reluctantly don't even want to be there.
That's the end of the server. Blade, you have any thoughts, Saul?
>> Uh, I don't have any thoughts. Uh, I think basic I've watched all the server blight so I have kept up with it. It's such a fascinating concept to use. I I have a question, but I feel like that's a more that's probably something you're going to explain a little bit.
>> I mean, you can shoot it now if you like.
>> I'm just thinking that these two are very different art stylewise and two very different mediums of games. I'm wondering how do you have them interact?
Um, I guess the stipulation that I have for the fight is Flowers just is in Team Fortress 2 somehow rather than the server blight coming to Roblox because if that if that happens, it's basically like a chain reaction instead of a nuclear bomb. There's there's no stopping it at that point. It makes more sense for it to be in Team Fortress 2 because it makes it a lot more fair.
>> Yeah.
So with that out of the way, >> it seems like serve bllight has to follow the rules to a g the game to some extent whereas >> uh flowers doesn't.
>> It completely breaks the kind of like the capabilities of even the hardware it's being used.
>> Like when Dex when Dexalot and his friend is getting chased by one of the blightes, >> they do that with a straight face without laughing. uh when they when they because I've heard it so many times in the series when they get Yeah. when they are getting chased, they actually vote kick the specific uh server blight out by a majority vote because he's on the same team of them. So even though the blight can like stop people from leaving and stuff, there are still ways to counteract it. Well, compared to Flowers, it's a lot more like you come across this thing and you're screwed.
Server Blade is like, "You come across this thing and if you're smart enough, you can get out, but for the majority of people, you're screwed."
>> Yeah. If you play Roblox, you [ __ ] die. Don't play Roblox at 3:00 a.m.
>> No.
>> Anyway, >> so why this fight in particular? The both of them are things that had spawned through basically nothing inside of their respective video games and continue to evolve and grow the longer they exist for. The server bllightly and flowers both manipulate people into making them powerless in fighting back and are generally unstoppable forces of nature and their own series.
That's that's the gist of why I think this fight is good. There's a lot more including um different characters that you could have from coming into the fight which um all have their own contrasts and comparisons to each other.
And speaking of the fight, oh [ __ ] that's the next slide. Um, unlike the server blight or unlike flowers, the server blight is pure malice. It doesn't have any intentions of doing something good whatsoever. It's there to destroy you and it's there to get off on it. It just continuously destroys people down to their very core so it's easier to incorporate them into their own hive mind or mass or whatnot. Flowers, on the other hand, typically only really acts out when something quote unquote hostile is done, such as calling someone fat, stupid, whatever. Um, pushing an NPC off the the map, like I brought up earlier, it generally kind of brings people to its own weird form of justice. Meaning, wait, this is technically a good versus evil matchup and a one versus Arby fight. Wow. Let's talk about the fight and talk questions beforehand.
>> Uh, I feel like I'm pretty set with your explanation.
>> All right.
This fight can be summed up with one word and that word is evolution, but not like spiral power evolution, just normal evolution.
A core theme of these two people is that or two people two characters is that they will continuously learn from mistakes and interactions that they'll have with the other. Starting with both of them having absolutely no idea what the hell the other is. But throughout the fight, they can slowly understand, oh, flowers works like this. Oh, serlight works like that. You can have things such as flowers hiding itself as a random Team Fortress 2 character.
and the server like, "Wait a minute. I know that one's assimilated." And being able to point out flowers is faking and in response, flowers usually starts to hide a little bit more and is able to learn how the server blight ticks. It's like a big game of pong if you imagine that. Well, both both are doing moves that cause the other to respond, and it's just going to continuously go back and forward, back and forth, despite the big difference in powers.
As the fight progresses, it's going to basically be a no-brainer that the two of them are going to have word out that they are fighting. and characters like Sailor Man who is a literal scunt. He plays scout. Um is someone infatuated with the server blight and will willingly sacrifice people to further a narrative in exchange for just being there causing more people to get assimilated. He he's he's basically like he's he's like a worse savior if that makes sense. Aiden and Owen are people who make kind of high octane content such as Sailor Man, but they're more normal and but they do have direct experience with flowers. So you could have Aiden and Noan fighting Sailor Man in the background and you could have like Aiden going like, "Hey man, we should just like kill him by having the server bllight infect him unknowingly." Or you could have Sailor Man trying to do the same thing with Aiden and Noan. They can continuously fight each other as the fight progresses, while Flowers and Cerber and its NPCs are all going at it with each other, too. There's a lot of different things that you could reference, such as Flowers being able to fake out an environment, say having the server blight think, oh, the server doesn't have uh flowers in it. And then the facade gets revealed and it's um in the whistle occurrence the series um there's a big base plate with just a bunch of NPCs. So you could have say Gilliesuit um think they're completely safe in this server only for it to be revealed that it's actually just inside of that base plate with the NPCs and Gillies no matter what happens is just kind of [ __ ] You have flowers manifesting in front of server blight, kind of like that Maharaga gift, which I think is an extremely fun one. And since like two of these are godlike entities, there could be a lot of imagery involved with how the two of them interact with each other. And Savior as well is going to be conflicted on which God is truly worth praising because the two of them basically just seem like the same character.
There's also things such as NPCs having their own little tangent where they like beat the [ __ ] out of bled together or singular or you could have a jump scare for the aggressive NPC just like charging out of blighted before it cuts away somewhere else. You could have um the server blight basically assembling NPCs into like a big mass to like hit flowers in the face or whatever. There's a lot of fun things that you can do with this fight. And I think going going with a little bit of an untraditional approach to this fight would help it would help it play out in the long run incredibly uniquely to other versus fights. I think something you could do is you could have Sailor Man recording a video or like the fight starts with Sailor Man going like, "What's up guys? I have big news." and he does this whole YouTuber lingo stuff before revealing um flowers and server blight have been continuously fighting each other for like a week now. And you could have the same thing with Aiden and Owen trying to get footage of the whole fight as well. There's so many different point of views that you can have with this fight going on that the fight potential basically just becomes kind of endless with what you can think of.
That's pretty much it.
>> With a minute to spare.
>> Uh, I think it sounds really interesting. This is definitely upsell's uh avenue. 100%.
>> You'd have to fight it off me for me not to write this one. Yeah.
>> Uh I would definitely love to do the style of like um >> analysis wise I would love if because the Nebula Theater crew are characters if we are treating this like these are our findings of this.
>> Oh >> our own research into these two through the YouTube videos through the game experience. Maybe even like one of us could get assimulated at one point.
>> Yeah. I was just about to say you could reference you could reference literally everyone as um people like coming in are already assimilated.
>> Oh my Yeah, you could have so many Easter eggs with just >> fun and I feel like from a debate standpoint it's going to be so fascinating to analyze because stats are like thrown out of the window with >> stats are completely irrelevant. They don't matter here.
>> Yeah. So, it's going to be up to their like this is like I know everybody jokes that like oh intelligence haha that's like not a factor in a debate. That's like the primary thing that would get them to win here is being able to outsmart each other. So yeah I I'm really on board for this.
>> Did we just win um here's um artwork and stuff. I will DM you. The uh drive link for all the art, the the um art for the thumbnail was from Pyrus's run of server blight merch. You can't actually get that photo anymore. So, the um drive link is to allow you to use my copy of it because I haven't seen anyone officially post the artwork anywhere from my research. But the majority of Flowers's art comes from Vibing Leaf's Twitter, aka the creator, and this fandom wiki that I used. A lot of these are really good resources as there's not really any renders of flowers officially. There's one which I used for the thumbnail that but that's pretty much it.
>> Yeah, that's um >> Yeah, I to say >> and it's about time we start setting up for that cast. So >> yeah, I got to go and sign up for that one.
>> I uh it was good. I liked it.
>> I really liked it very for uh being a member.
>> Thank you.
>> Yeah, thank you.
>> Thank you for letting me do this.
>> Of course.
>> Also, I I really hoped you noticed the detail of the background for the server bllight section slowly.
>> Yes. Yeah, I I did see it >> slowly unbluring.
>> I was so proud of myself for coming up with it. like like in in the video where it slowly pans out uh with the story of the sniper.
>> Yes. No, this is this is brilliant.
>> This is probably tied for my preferred for server blight for this show.
>> Yeah.
>> Like if we like I've been pushing to use server blight anyway because one I want to use more internet horror. It generally inverses and two I love server blight. I mean there's a reason why I'm writing the TF2 episode. I love TF2. So, to be able to do this, yes, this would be amazing. Thank you so much for pitching this. This is awesome. I'm kicking myself that I couldn't remember that we talked about this.
>> I'm so happy. I am so happy you forgot about that.
>> My god, I remember it so clearly that.
Oh my gosh. Yes. Uh, I've got to get going to set up the other cast because we've literally got it in like 15 minutes.
>> Throw all that out. We're doing server blight versus flowers for the cast.
