[00:00:17][music] Hey, hey, hey. [music] >> [music] >> Hello everyone. Welcome back to the channel. Thanks for tuning in. Uh today I am going to be making a clock out of an 18 in cradle board. Um I was trying to do something else on the cradle board. Did not work out. So just going to paint over top it. But do a bloom.

[00:00:45]All right, let's get down onto the board. Get started. Be right back. All right. I've got an 18 by8 cradle board here. Um, I painted on this, tried to [music] do an experiment and did not work out well. So, I'm going to actually do a clock out of this. So, I'm going to do a big old bloom using some really nice colors and then we're going to blow it out. So, let's start off with our PPG MultiPro.

[00:01:42]Today is 80° outside.

[00:01:47]My allergies are kicking in. All right.

[00:01:51][snorts] So, let's start off with some benevolence.

[00:02:00]Going to use a lot of color on here. So, I think I'll come back in twice with my colors. We'll see.

[00:02:09]And then we're going to go [music] in with some Pebbio green blue.

[00:02:23]>> [snorts] >> And then we're going to come in with some Amsterdam in primary yellow.

[00:02:44]Got some light blue here.

[00:02:54]Then we're going to come in with some gold.

[00:03:09]Then we're going to top it off with some carmine red.

[00:03:16]We're not going to use this kind of thickened up on me.

[00:03:28]And then that center there.

[00:03:32]Then we're going to come in here with some of my Payne's gray cell activator.

[00:03:46]Just a little bit more.

[00:03:51]All right.

[00:03:54]Oops. I drunk through it. All right, let's go with this.

[00:05:10]Can't say that I like that. We'll let this collect.

[00:05:14]Got a lot of white cells here. So, not real crazy with that section. And of course, the center will be the center where the clock arms will be. So, I don't need to be too concerned with what I have dead center. Give it a spin. See how this goes.

[00:05:58]Definitely interesting, but I don't know that I like this.

[00:06:40]My paints have thickened up. Probably should just water them down a little bit.

[00:06:53]Tell you what, this time, let's add some of this red in here.

[00:07:39]Some more of the teal or the greenish blue, [snorts] the light blue. I think this was sky blue light.

[00:09:02]Let's put some of the cell activator down here in the center.

[00:10:52][music] Now we're getting our sails. Much better. This should spin out differently, too. I kind of wanted to go in this color scheme. We'll see what we get when we spin. And again, like I said, the center of it is going to be the clock [music] where the arms and stuff is. So, attach. So, we'll be okay with that.

[00:11:45]This time, I have a lot more paint, so this will be able to spin out a little better. [music] Okay, let's give this a light spin.

[00:12:57]Just giving a little bit of paint. So, this will help glide.

[00:13:49]Excellent. Then my my uh hole is going to go right here in the center. That's going to be cool.

[00:14:08]Actually, I forgot. I taped the sides. So, the sides should be bare wood as long as the paint doesn't leak through. Okay, I'm going to leave this here.

[00:14:38]Once this dries, I'll be able to put resin and numbers and all that jazz on it. But I will bring you guys down for a closeup. Okay, guys. Here we are with the wet result. So, bring you in here close.

[00:15:20]Okay guys, that is it. So, it is still wet, but I can pick it up briefly while it's drying. There we go.

[00:15:29]Really cool. I love the center. So, it's going to make [music] an excellent clock once it's dry. I am going to put it back down and I am going to be going to work for a day or two and when I come back should be dry enough that I can stick some resin on it and it'll be good to go.
