>> Well, some hot stuff out there. We have 91, 92 in a couple of places. Everybody else kind of upper 80s to around 90.
Perry checking in at the fairgrounds here at 88. Beautiful day. Humidity is there. It's not terrible, but uh it's up some. And there are the ingredients in place for a shower storm. At least the potential for that. Most of it has been just out of reach to our west, at least for this afternoon. And that could change uh as we go on through tomorrow, Friday, and into the weekend. And I know you're thinking Memorial Day weekend, it's got to be great weather. And we could have that and still maybe some rain in the afternoon in a couple of spots because we could desperately use it. Here is a look at the radar. Let's take away the clouds so we can see things a little bit better. And you can see a few rumbles here trying to move more into Monroe County. So northern parts just to the west of Fory there. Uh I don't know if it's going to make any more progress to the east, but at least it's out there. As we roll on over toward Columbus, you can see a couple of thunderstorms from Lraange on down and then other stuff as you go back toward the west. I'm hoping that our radar starts to look a little bit more like that sliding over this way as we go into tomorrow. Let's start with future view for tonight. Doesn't show much of anything. Matter of fact, it's picking up on some rain that doesn't even exist right now. So, it may just end up being a dry night tonight. So, we'll try again tomorrow. There's a look at late tonight. Still going out west. As we head into tomorrow, it's a little bit better. Seeing a couple of little blips in our wheelhouse here. This is around this time tomorrow. Again, this is by no means a wash out where everybody sees rain. But again, that's part of the summertime thing. You don't you don't have to have just a real steady rain going. If you can get underneath one of these and get lucky that this rides over your house, you can get an inch of rain or so sometimes in a hurry if it's one with bright red in it like that. So, we'll see how it goes. This is around midnight tomorrow night. Maybe still a couple of showers going and then they'll calm down. Friday afternoon, uh hit or miss. hopefully with a little more hit than the mist that we are seeing tonight. So, we'll call it scattered out there as we get into 6 7 o'clock. Maybe a few things still going as we get into 7 8 9:00 Friday night. Fingers crossed.
Again, all this rain would be fantastic to see if we can get it to fall. There's Friday night midnight and then we'll get into Saturday and see if we can get some things going. Again, the long range models do show blobs more than they were showing yesterday. And I know it's a boring looking map, but when you see that, uh, that shows that both long range models are agreeing that yes, there is the potential at some point maybe Saturday with the heat of the day, maybe Sunday later in the afternoon and evening and then again for Memorial Day.
So again, it doesn't mean it's going to be a wash out for wherever you are, but you may have to duck and dodge a shower storm. And again, that's not a bad thing if it happens uh especially after the spring we have had. My goodness, it's been so dry. around 90 as an average for the coming days. Uh each afternoon with a shower storm possible.
