Woodford effectively deconstructs the dangerous shift from civic loyalty to religious devotion, where deifying a leader serves as a convenient shield against democratic accountability. It is a sharp warning against the toxic fusion of political populism and messianic delusion.

Trump is Jesus Now... The F*ck?Added:
It almost cost you your life. You were betrayed and arrested and falsely accused.
>> This is absolutely unhinged. It's so crazy, in fact, that many Christians are even calling it out because what we're about to look at is frankly, well, it's a genuinely bizarre peak right into the absolute inner sanctum of Donald Trump's White House. The perpetual glazing of his orange [ __ ] So that voice that you just heard, that's Paula White and she's the head of the White House faith office and she is speaking directly to the president at a private Easter gathering this week. Now keep in mind the United States was founded on a very strict, very clear separation of church and state. That's the baseline. But what we're witnessing in rooms like this one is something completely different. It is pure, unadulterated Christian nationalism. Think about the context.
It's Easter week. The entire theological premise of the holiday is supposed to be about the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ. But watch what happens in this room. They are quite literally taking the persecution, the betrayal, and the resurrection of Christ, and they're just slapping it directly onto Donald Trump's political and legal battles. It's brilliant in a completely unhinged, albeit surely blasphemous way. Because if his political journey is framed as the modern equivalent of divine martyrdom, well then securing absolute loyalty isn't just about winning votes anymore, is it? It transforms raw political allegiance into a mandatory act of religious devotion. So let's get to it.
>> And Mr. President, no one has paid the price like you have paid the price. So true.
>> It almost cost you your life.
So right out of the gate, the sicker fantasy is staggering. It really is.
She's effectively telling him that nobody has suffered the way that he has.
And Trump is just standing there absorbing this immense praise. And for crying out loud, notice the reaction of the dude next to him. Right? Look at that dude as he's saying it's so true.
These are cultists. All of them. They are cultists.
>> And Mr. present. No one has paid the price like you have paid the price. So true.
>> It almost cost you your life.
>> I mean, think about the theological weight here. In a room gathering to celebrate Easter, the ultimate victim, the one who has truly carried the cross is somehow Donald Trump.
>> Are you joking? I mean, what world am I in right now?
>> It almost cost you your life. You were betrayed and arrested and falsely accused.
>> The betrayal, the arrest, the supposed false accusations. You hear the cadence that she's using, right? She isn't just listing off a politician's legal and physical grievances. No, she's deliberately drawing this massive unmissable parallel to the persecution of Christ. And it's doing very specific work in that room. By wrapping all of this in heavy biblical language, they're managing to gloss over the actual legitimate criminal indictments that he's faced. It completely bypasses the reality of the courts. It ignores the evidence. Again, it is a brilliant tactic. It works on the cult completely unhinged obviously, but it's brilliant because what it does is take every single consequence of his own deliberate actions and instantly reframes it as a holy martyrdom. If the legal system comes after him, well, that's just the modern equivalent of the Romans coming for the savior. That's the move. It transforms him from a political figure facing just consequences of his own choices into a divine figure enduring a passion play.
I mean, seriously, this is a man who was found liable for sexually abusing a woman in a department store. He was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments to a porn star. He was indicted for hoarding classified documents and obstructing efforts to get them back. He was charged with conspiring to overturn a [ __ ] democratic election. His own charity was shut down by a court for fraud. This is what is being reframed as the Romans coming for the savior. That is the persecution narrative that they want you to buy.
>> It's a familiar pattern that our Lord and Savior showed us. But it didn't end there for him and it didn't end there for you. And I believe that the Lord said to tell you this, because of his victory, you will be victorious in all you put your hands to.
It's so cringe.
Oh, how the states have fallen.
Well, there it is. You know, there's the payoff, the crescendo with the entire pitch. Don't worry, there's lots more to see. I'm going to force you to see it because I've had to see it. But there's the crescendo. Just like the betrayal metaphor that we saw a moment ago, Paula is making a direct unequivocal link between the resurrection and Trump's own return to power on Easter.
If this isn't blasphemy, what is? She's taking the central tenant off the Christian faith, the idea of overcoming death itself, and mapping it directly onto a person who on Easter Sunday, the holiest day of the Christian calendar, posted this. Tuesday will be power plant day and bridge day, all wrapped up in one in Iran. There will be nothing like it. Open the [ __ ] straight, you crazy bastards. or you'll be living in hell. Just watch. Praise be to Allah. So, praise be to God. And again, right, look at the MPC. Okay, he's clapping away as are the room. It is a doomsday cult. I swear so much, President, and for all the great faith leaders that are here. Uh, happy Easter. This is a very holy week for us and we're just honored you took your valuable time for all of our uh cabinet members and secretaries.
We thank you.
>> Catch who she's thanking at the end of that cabinet members and secretaries.
Now, that should make you set up because it reveals exactly what we're dealing with here, what we're looking at. This isn't some fringe church group off in the wilderness. This is the government of the United States. the actual machinery of the United States government. They're sitting there right in that room and they're being completely drenched in this fundamentalist religious rhetoric. It's not just a political holiday greeting.
It just it it isn't. That's just a lie.
It's a merging of state power with a very specific, fiercely loyal brand of religious extremism. The line between church and state has evaporated entirely. The founding fathers are rolling in their graves nearly as much as Jesus did apparently.
>> And most of all, I really feel like the Lord gave me something this morning. And this is family. So, I want to thank you very much.
>> You should have gotten dressed up a little bit.
>> I know.
So, I want to thank you very much.
>> You should have gotten dressed up a little bit.
>> I know. I We We were initially having a dinner, so actually nice.
>> Thank you, sir. And >> make it stop, please. Pretty please.
She's right in the middle of setting up this profound spiritual revelation.
She's claiming direct personal communication from the Lord. That that's what you're going to see. And what does he do? He undercuts the whole thing with a superficial jab about her outfit. If you want to be really charitable, I guess it's a compliment. But in any case, he just can't help himself. Even during what is supposed to be, you know, this deeply sacred, intense monologue, the focus has to snap right back to him.
And again, listen to the room, they dutifully chuckle because of course they do. The leader made a funny, so everyone has to laugh. You better laugh. You better laugh. A lot of peer pressure in that room with secretaries and cabinet members. You know, it is genuinely incredibly awkward to watch.
She actually stammers. She instantly is thrown off her divine script and has to scramble to justify her clothing choice in front of him, fumbling through an excuse, just waiting for the, you know, the little nod of approval and the room to go, "Yes, yes, well done."
>> And uh so I decided to wear it anyway.
But the Bible says to give thanks for all things.
>> Sorry, Paula, but uh the Bible says that a woman shall not teach a man. So, you know, don't preach, get off, go away, cover your hair. But no, no, no. We We're We're real woke today, aren't we?
We've got like a woke version of Christianity with this Christian nationalism. It's very different from the past. They even think slaveryy's wrong still.
>> So, I decided to wear it anyway. But the Bible says to give thanks for all things. And as I was praying this morning, the word gratitude just kept coming to me. And so there's so many things I'm grateful for. I'm grateful for salvation and the finished work of Jesus Christ and my family. And the list would go on and on. But as I prayed, it was like the Holy Spirit just zoned me in and said, "Tell President Trump how thankful you are for him."
>> Oh no. Just Margaret, stop. Make it stop.
How incredibly convenient. You have this third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit himself itself, supposedly interrupting a private morning prayer.
And what is this grand divine message that simply must be delivered on the holiest of weekends? A specific instruction, a very, very specific instruction to lavish praise on the most narcissistic man of our era. It's funny, isn't it? How perfectly this alleged divine intervention just happens to align with his endless insatiable need for validation. I mean, what's that?
Children in need in Gaza. What? They're starving. They're getting bombed.
There's there's catastrophe happening because of Trump to a large extent.
Sorry, I'm I'm busy. I'm very very busy.
Go defend it for yourself. I'm super busy because I'm telling Paula White that she's not worshiping Trump's ego hard enough. Is that what we're meant to believe?
And I I felt like I was conveying the heart of God for all of us that we are thankful for the greatest champion of faith that we've ever seen in a president.
That is outrageous.
Just pause on that claim for a second or two. Right. The single biggest advocate for religion that they've ever seen in the Oval Office. Really, Paul? We're talking about a man whose entire public life, his business history, his personal conduct, the way he actually treats people, stands in stark, deliberate contrast to virtually every traditional Christian value. Humility, no. Grace, no. Fidelity, no. You won't exactly find any of them with him, will you? So framing him as the ultimate defender of the godly. I mean, what is this monstrosity? Like the MAGA Christianity is something else. Something else entirely. Also, Carter was a Sunday school teacher. Bush was a born-again Methodist who openly credited his faith with saving him from alcoholism. Trump is a man who couldn't name his favorite Bible verse when he was asked because he probably has never read it. What makes him their leader, the only thing that actually matters, you know, remove all of the smoke in the mirrors, is the sheer blunt political power he's directly delivering to their faction.
That's it. That's why he is their savior.
>> And we honor you because of your bold, unwavering conviction and stand for religious liberty here in America and around the world. And you recognize the power and the name of Jesus Christ. I remember when we told our first briefing, you can now pray again and worship again. They begin to shout and praise and and say >> sorry, [ __ ] off.
Really? That's the pitch. The this idea that people are finally being allowed to worship again under his administration.
It is classic manufactured grievance.
All of this is these people are forever snowflakes. Citizens in the United States never lost the right to pray, did they? They never lost the right to practice their faith. It simply didn't happen. It's fake news. She's standing there building this grand narrative that Trump has essentially descended to break their secular chains. But the reality is what they're actively praising him for in this room isn't about basic freedom to hold belief. It is about dominance.
That religious liberty is for her denomination, not for every faith, not for the non-religious. What this inner circle actually wants is unchecked power to impose their specific, highly politicized brand of faith onto everyone else. That's what they're doing. They're demanding cultural and legal supremacy.
And they're masquerading the whole thing under liberty.
>> Thank you, Lord. And sing in their highest ways uh for your unwavering recognition that the strength of a nation is through Almighty God. and you have not backed away from any of this.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you, to serve people of faith, and to serve the American people. Uh I've heard many people take credit for you being here or for some of your victories and for the being in the sacred office of the president. But the truth of it is is you are here because of God and because of you.
Oh, the clapping seal next to her again.
He's at it again. He's just This dude is an MPC. Like just straight up. What?
What are we watching? She's actively splitting the credit for his presidency between the creator and him.
What does that even mean? Surely under her worldview, everyone is here because of the creator and because of their own actions. You know, free will. Is this another participation trophy? What is this? You're here because of you. You're unique like everyone else. This is profoundly dangerous nonsense. Like I'm I'm I'm laughing, right? But this is profoundly dangerous for any functional democracy. If a leader's political survival is framed as a literal partnership with the Almighty, how on earth are voters supposed to question his decisions? How are democratic institutions supposed to check his power? They aren't. And that is the whole point. They're just expecting, you know, everyone to bow their heads and to fall in line. And if you don't, well, they'll make sure of it.
And I just wanted to share this thought and pray over President Trump. Jesus taught us so many lessons through his death, burial, and resurrection. He showed us great leadership.
Great transformation requires great sacrifice.
And Mr. President, no one has paid the price like you have paid the price. So true.
>> It almost cost you your life.
>> Did it though? You know, a shot comes in and immediately everyone's like quickly raise the flag. Get the president up.
Like I don't know, man. I'm I'm just going to be honest with you here. I don't know about that. You were betrayed >> and arrested and falsely accused.
It's a familiar pattern that our Lord and Savior showed us. But it didn't end there for him and it didn't end there for you.
>> Here we go again. She's laying it out there point by point comparing him directly to Jesus Christ. This isn't some throwaway line about bearing a heavy burden or dealing with the unusual pressure of the Oval Office. It's not a passing metaphor. She is talking about the passion of the Christ, the absolute bedrock of the Christian faith, and mapping it directly onto a billionaire politician. And she's doing it like a rehearsed hymn, the betrayal, the arrest, the false accusations. It's a onetoone recreation.
It's blasphemy.
>> God always had a plan. On the third day, he rose. He defeated evil. He conquered death, hell, and the grave.
>> And because he rose, we all know that we can rise. And sir, because of his resurrection, you rose up. Because he was victorious, you were victorious. And I believe that the Lord said to tell you this, because of his victory, you will be victorious in all you put your hand to.
Oh. Oh, it's it's just creepy. This is like this is as if the United States is in uncanny valley. This is really weird.
I mean, also really victorious in all you put your hand to. You mean, you know, like his Supreme Court striking down his tariffs or his economy shedding jobs or his flagship Doge project publicly imploding. I mean, give me a break. He dragged the country into a war with Iran. He's got over 200 active court cases challenging his actions. And he just fired the attorney general who was sitting in that very room. The sheer absurdity of this really cannot be overstated. This is pandemonium. We saw her hint at this before, but now she's fully taking the fundamental tenants of the Christian faith, the resurrection, the defeat of death, and using them to explicitly justify his political career.
They are ordaining him right there in that room. Far from being a mere president, he's now a messianic figure.
Look, when you convince a voter that their president is divinely chosen, that he's quite literally walking in the footsteps of Christ, sharing in his divine victories, you are completely changing the rules of engagement. If his political comeback was somehow guaranteed by the resurrection, then political opposition suddenly becomes an act of defying God himself, criticizing Trump voting against him, you know, not doing what he wants, whatever country he wants to bomb or, you know, if you want to investigate him, it's all painted as a spiritual rebellion.
>> Amen.
because God is with you and God is using you to defeat evil, to restore families, to awaken the church, to harvest the nations, and to bring a worldwide revival. So, I'm going to ask something.
Would you all stand and just, if you're comfortable, stretch your hand towards our president?
Make it stop, please.
Oh, do something.
Is this not crossing the line for every Christian? Like, if you're a Christian watching, what the [ __ ] is that? What started out as a deeply sickopantic finger speech is now a full-blown religious ritual. She's pressuring the entire room to stand up and physically extend their hands towards him. a variation of the laying of hands, a classic Pentecostal tradition. But think about what this actually means when you do that to a sitting president at a private gathering. They're not just praying for his well-being or hoping he makes good legislative decisions, are they? They are actively physically ordaining him.
And look at the mandate that she's attached to him right before they do it.
defeating evil, harvesting nations, bringing about a worldwide revival. That is a holy crusade. It is quite staggering watching this dynamic because suddenly this is a room full of a congregation consecrating a truly deplorable man. It completely cements the unshakable devotion we've been tracking this whole time. Because if you're standing in that room and you genuinely believe that this man is the singular divine instrument chosen to awaken the church and the world, well, you don't question him ever, do you? You certainly don't challenge his authority. You just follow.
>> And even if uh Reverend Graham, you'd like to lay hands on him and Pastor Robert and just come in agreement with me. For 2 Chronicles 7:14 declares, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land." So today, we humble oursel and we seek you, Lord Jesus.
>> You declared in Proverbs 14:34 that it said, "The righteousness exalts a nation." So we declare righteousness over America.
>> Yeah. Uh, [ __ ] that. I'm I'm out. Right.
That's it. We're done. We're done with watching this content. You only need Jesus over there. That's what I'm telling you.
>> This world needs you, Jesus.
>> This is so incredibly spiritually bankrupt. They're laying hands on him.
They're quoting scripture about healing the land and bringing righteousness over America. Actively positioning him, literally, physically surrounding him as the sole divine vessel for that healing.
And this brings us back to, you know, that central trick, doesn't it? The entire point of the exercise, if they can successfully merge his political journey with the story of the gospel, if his legal troubles are continuously framed as the crucifixion and his return to power is framed as the resurrection, then you can't oppose him. You can't question him because doing so would be, you know, the equivalent of disagreeing with God. It would be a sin. It would be defying the will of heaven. That is the strategy at play. And it is a genuinely terrifying glimpse into the sheer unadulterated Christian nationalism driving this inner circle. These are the theocratic undercurrents that are actively threatening the political fabric of the United States today and indeed the entire world. These people like straight up I mean this right?
These people are as dangerous as deluded as the leaders in the Islamic world that are calling for the death of the west.
They are equally religious. They are equally faith-based. They are equally fusing their politics with their religion and creating monstrosities such as this. Like, I laugh because it's the only it's the only option I have left.
How the hell did you guys vote for this?
