Pete Hegseth Just Described a War Crime from the Pentagon Podium

[00:00:01]On March 13th, 2026, the United States Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, stood in front of cameras and said, No quarter, no mercy for our enemies.

[00:00:13]That's not just tough talk. According to the Geneva Conventions, the Hague Regulations, and even our own United States Law of War Manual, declaring no quarter is a war crime.

[00:00:27]Just to clarify, no quarter means no prisoners, no surrender, no survivors.

[00:00:36]To repeat, an American leader with combat experience, who literally wrote a book on the rules of engagement, used specific war crime phrasing from the Pentagon floor.

[00:00:48]Allow me to be clear. As an American citizen, I expect leaders fighting wars on my behalf to have humanitarianism and compliance with international law, to include our own war manual, paramount. Especially given the questionable justification for entering the conflict.

[00:01:06]I would rather a war take longer, or not be won at all, than be won violating the very laws we helped set up to govern warfare when others could do those same things to us.

[00:01:19]This should stop us all in our tracks.

[00:01:21]It's completely counter to every principle this country was founded on.

[00:01:26]Pete Hegseth needs to be removed, investigated, and held accountable.
