[00:00:00]Is faith in God reasonable? The fourth argument, the presuppositional argument.

[00:00:05]Naturalism cannot account for the very foundation of its own arguments.

[00:00:10]Naturalism can't account for the foundations of things like morality, logic, or science all on its own.

[00:00:16]Morality, in order to be true, must be objectively, universally binding, and grounded in something. So, when an atheist argues that God does not exist because evil exists, a naturalistic worldview can't explain why morality exists. It can't be measured. It is purely immaterial. Now, logic is universally binding on everything. Yet, it's something that can't be weighed or measured or examined. So, how did logic come to be? Well, there is no naturalistic explanation. Let's talk about science real quick. Science requires consistency in the natural world. We must be able to test and reproduce our hypothesis. It's the scientific method. We must be able to trust that things are going to happen the same way again [music] again. But, there is no naturalistic explanation for why the laws of physics are unchanging.

[00:01:05]You can't prove the future will resemble the past without assuming the future is going to resemble the past. [music] So, scientists can only do science assuming that the world will continue to exist as it has existed. So, the very tools we use to evaluate the world, logic, science, morality, they all borrow from the Christian view of reality. The Bible's been telling us this for years.
