Rare Kawada Blocks Run A Train DLX found on eBay

[00:00:01]and I've never seen it before and it's probably not complete. Uh, so let's get this opened up, but it it kind of you'll see where it relates to my Lego channel.

[00:00:17]All right, this this box was heavy. It was super heavy. And that is this is much heavier than I expected. So, this is something that might look uninteresting to a lot of people, but I've never seen it. Uh, run a train.

[00:00:48]No, run a train. Let me get this paper out of the way. So, the listing was very interesting because uh there's stuff that's definitely not quad blocks in here. And I have no idea if any of the parts to build this quadlocks train are in here. I mean, like, ideally, I would love to have all the sticker pieces and enough to make the locomotive, but we're going to see what's in here.

[00:01:27]All right. And this is one of the reasons I think why he's got it wrapped in um cling wrap, saran wrap as we say. Uh this is a partial instruction manual for a Lego train set which I think is 77 Nope, it's not. It's it's a different one. I thought this was Oh, it is 7722.

[00:01:48]is 7722 which is one of the the more common trains from the 4 and a half volt train era in the 80s uh of Lego.

[00:02:01]Um so we got this is this would be part of that train I guess that would be part of the locomotive for the train the Lego one. These are the Kuat blocks here. That's a Kuad block. And this is the Kuadab blocks track.

[00:02:25]Got a lot of the track there. It's the same color as on the box. Oh, there's little piece that goes in the track. I think this is like a stop track kind of like they do with Oh, man. It is stuck.

[00:02:42]But yeah, the mechanism seems Oh, there's a Lego piece stuck in there. That's a Lego piece. Now, let's see if I Oh, yeah. That's like a little stop track.

[00:02:57]Uh there's Oh, the forklift and it's got the spring. So, this is from set 7722.

[00:03:04]I mean, there's the That's from the Lego set. It'd be cool, you know, for what I paid for this especially. It'd be cool if I had a mostly complete set of that.

[00:03:18]I think so. It is very dirty. I'm going to need to wash all these. So, that looks like one of the cars in the quad block set. What' I do? I just knock over. Uh, this looks like Oh, this is a battery car. That's I didn't know that.

[00:03:39]Is there a trick to it? But that is a battery car. I got to find instructions.

[00:03:46]It's got screws. I don't know if I'm supposed to unscrew it. So, this is I didn't know this would have been battery operated. So, this is like part of the locomotive here. I'm thinking what are those? What is Oh, yeah. That's Yep. That's the front of the locomotive.

[00:04:10]I had no idea they use those types of couplers. It doesn't seem doesn't seem right. But yeah, it's got little magnets.

[00:04:34]Oh. Oh, look at that. That's the printed parts.

[00:04:38]for the Kata blocks. That's one of for the Lego. This is the payload for the Lego one.

[00:04:48]Um, that's a quad blocks. That's a battery holder. Maybe maybe this is just a motor and then you put this on top of it. Maybe that's what it is.

[00:05:09]Is that like some the whole paper? Like I don't think it has anything to do with any of this Lego parts. Don't have. So the one thing I'm noticing I got some of the Lego track pieces. These are for the Lego track for the 7722 train. But I see none of the rails in here, which is not that big a deal. Again, to me, all the the Lego parts are just bonus. That's a Lego part. That's the Lego part.

[00:05:42]Oh, you know what's going to stink is the paperwork for the Katada box. It's Lego.

[00:06:50]So, yeah, it's going to be interesting.

[00:06:54]That's I don't know what that that's some other little toys, random toys that's in there.

[00:06:58]So, this will be a little cleanup project, getting all these Lego pieces out of here, and then doing an inventory.

[00:07:09]Um, it's going to have a lot of the parts for 7722, uh, the battery powered train, and a lot of parts for the quarter blocks. But the problem is I don't have the instruction manual, so I'd have to kind of reverse engineer some of this.

[00:07:28]which will be challenging. Or see if I can find if anybody knows where I can find an online version of the instructions for the Runner Train DLX, let me know.

[00:07:40]It has a lot more of the parts than I was really even expecting.

[00:07:53]Yeah, this is I think this is a pretty cool find and I want to really thank Andre for suggesting this to me and getting all these Lego parts out of here.

[00:08:03]I already have this 7722 with all these go to. I actually got a couple of them.

[00:08:13]But I think what I'll do, I might just see if I can still, like I said, piece it together. might be something I'd look at selling. The condition's not that great on some of the parts. You like they put the stickers on a little crooked. Um, but to find this much of it in here is crazy. It's just I'm still getting all these parts out of here. Is this one of the guys? I don't know if I saw that headpiece before or if that is actually even a lot of blocks headpiece or hairpiece accessory.

[00:09:06]There's a Lego piece from the Katada blocks.

[00:09:11]But it's pretty cool.

[00:09:15]So again, yeah, if anybody knows a site that I can go to where I can get the instructions for this uh quad block set, please let me know. I may find it on my own. I'm going to do a Google Google search. Like I say, Google and um see if I can find the instructions cuz it it's probably not going to be complete and quad blocks are very hard if you're messing parts uh to uh to complete it. But it seems like it's got some of the main things like the wheelbases.
