This sermon from Bethel Haitian SDA Church's Women's Day service teaches that suffering is a universal experience that affects everyone regardless of race, social status, or circumstances, but believers are never abandoned by God. Using the biblical story of Ruth and Naomi, the message emphasizes that while hearts may be broken, God provides strength, restoration, and victory. The sermon encourages women to embrace God with perseverance, maintain faith during difficult times, and support one another through life's challenges, highlighting that nothing can separate believers from God's love.

Good morning, church family.
>> Good morning.

>> Good morning.
Viva Mgreio Mgeno Mgreo declares Bal, >> we welcome you in the name of Yahweh, the great I am.
>> Amen.
>> The selfexistent one >> who was and is and is to come. Whether this is your first visit or you have worshiped with us for years, you have come to the right place at the right time.
>> Amen.
Today we gather under One bold declaration. Our faith will not be silenced.
In a world that grows louder with doubt, with distraction, and with opposition, we lift our voices together. Because El Shai, God Almighty, has not left us without a testimony. We come not in our own strength but covered by the blood of Jehovah ni the Lord our banner under whom we march and under whom we serve.
He is our march and our conqueror. He is our victory before the battle is even fought.
>> Amen. Yahweh >> I am >> El Shadai >> Almighty >> Jehovah Ni >> our banner >> Jehovah Gyra >> our provider >> El Roy >> God who sees >> Jehovah Rafa >> our healer >> Jehovah Shalom >> our peace >> Jehovah Emmanuel >> God with us >> the line of Judah >> Fidel To those who feel weary or worn, take heart. Jehovah Rafa, the Lord who heals, knows every wound you carry through the door. and Elroy, the God who sees, has never once slipped away from your struggle. To those walking in uncertainty, rest in Jehovah Gyra, the one who provides, who has never left one of his children go without what they truly need. And to those whose hearts are heavy, >> know that Jehovah Shalom, the Lord our peace, is already at work.
>> Amen.
>> Stilling storms within you. Above all, we are reminded that Emmanuel, God with us, is not a distant promise. He is present in this room, present in every song, every prayer, every whispered cry of faith.
Amen. Amen. So let us worship boldly today. Let us pray without reservation, singing without shame and leave these walls carrying a fire that cannot be extinguished. The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is my the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? The lion of Judah has already war and we are his voice in the earth.
Amen.
Your faith is not a whisper. It is a declaration. It is a testimony.
>> It shall not be silenced.
We are so glad you are here. Amen.
Now is the time for us to get up to greet each other to welcome one another to our special women's days. Let's all stand up and greet each other.

When heaven seems quiet and prayers hit the wall. When silent answers my desperate call. I will not shrink and I will not retreat. I will fall at his presence, at Jesus's feet.
My faith is louder than fear inside. My faith is louder than the fear inside. I will not let rejection decide. Though doors may seem closed and hope may seem small, my faith will rise. My faith will call.

So I will not wait for perfect signs or visible proof or even favorable times.
Cuz faith is not seeing. Faith is knowing that even in silence, God is moving. So I choose to cling to mercy, not to work.
>> Cuz I'm trusting the king that literally rules the entire earth.
>> So even the crumbs from his table will always be enough. Cuz his grace is greater than this life could ever be tough.

As those who look to him are radiant, their faces are never covered with shame. This man called and the Lord heard him. He saved them out of all his trouble. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the one who take refuge in him. Fear the Lord you his holy people. Fear those for those who fear him lack of nothing. May God bless you all.

Good afternoon, church.
This is my distinct privilege and honor to introduce someone who is no stranger to preaching. Although she will not categorize herself as a professional, she has gladly responded to the call to be a humble mouthpiece of the Lord for the first time before her home church battle.
This remarkable woman of God has been a faithful anchor, a trusted friend, and one of the greatest role model of my life. She is my beloved mother, Christine Bonidovva.
Christine discovered the Seventh Day Adventist faith during her teenage years. And from that moment on, her life was transformed by a deep love for God and a whole outdated devotion in caring for others which has shown through her kindness, compassion, faithfulness, and demonstrated a quiet but powerful life of sermon of grace and devotion. A greatest ministry in my view remain a her dedication within her family. She has put unmeasured love, prayers and strength into raising her six children to teaching them by both words and by example what it means to walk with God.
Today she continues that passionate legacy as a loving godmother to her three precious grandchildren.
If you were to ask Christine who she is, she would simply say she is a servant of the Lord. Whenever God call her to serve, her answer has always been yes Lord. Through every season of life, she has remained a faithful example of humility, perseverance, and Christlike love. this afternoon. It is with great joy and deep admiration that I present to you my mother Christine Bonidova.

Amen. Amen. Um, Sister Christine says she's happy. Um, she can't start without thanking her family, her kids, her mom, her sister. They're all here to support her.
Let's pray.
Amen.
Brother, >> today is women's day. They don't usually give us this opportunity.
>> Today's our day.
>> We're going to talk.
Amen.
>> Amen.
>> What did I say?
We're going to talk.
We ask God to help us.
Things may not be good.
>> You may have tears rolling down your face.
>> You may be facing adversaries, >> tribulations with sadness or loss.
Look at the person next to you. say don't look at your going because you know why?
>> Because the person who is your father, >> he never leaves you.
>> The title of the sermon is >> broken but never abandoned.
You may be finished, but God never leaves you.
Today, we're going to be talking about Ruth and Naomi.
>> We're going to separate the church just for today.
All the older people are Naomi and all the young people are ROF.
>> You guys agree?
>> Amen. Amen.
The reason why we're going to be talking about these two ladies is because we realize one complete the other.
>> They suffer the same.
>> They suffer the same and they um conquer. They have victory together.
We can't start the message without think talking about suffering.
>> Suffering.
>> All of us has gone through it every day.
>> Suffering.
>> It doesn't know. It doesn't care about your race.
It doesn't care where you are, what rank you are in society. It doesn't care what your degree is.
It doesn't care if you're rich.
It doesn't care if you're poor.
We can say >> it's something everyone goes through and >> it's a hand in au >> today you may be going through um suffering.
>> Tomorrow will be my turn.
>> That's how it works.
>> Amen.
Brothers and sisters, we may not suffer the same way.
We don't suffer the same way, >> but we all are suffering.
Some of us are suffering with a sickness.
Some of us may not be working.
Some of us are suffering because we're not we don't have the paper, the legal paper in the country.
Some of us are suffering because we're being humiliated.
>> Some of us are suffering because we lost someone close to us.
>> So you realize there's a lot of different types of suffering amongst us.
Our hearts are broken, >> but we are not abandoned.
>> This makes me understand God is always here on our side.
But brothers and sisters, let me tell you.
But it's a little bad when you hear people are suffering due to sin.
A lot of time they say the way she was acting, I saw it coming.
>> That doesn't surprise me. She was doing too much.
That's why that happened.
>> So we say due to sin.
>> Let me tell you brothers and sisters that's not always true.
>> You know why it's not always true.
When we see the story of Job, he bet he beted on Job >> and all those things happened. Was Job a sinner?
>> So it's not always true.
>> That's why my friends when you start feeling suffering, when you're going through suffering, a lot of time you'll find people who don't understand.
>> You know what you should do?
You're going to sing in your heart, >> I'm walking, >> in the sun, >> in the dark.
>> Whatever happens, >> I'll be happy.
My father made it that way. I don't hear you.
Sometimes you're going through something. It did not come to pay, >> but your father made it that way.
Some things you're going through in your life.
>> It's further down. You will understand why.
Now, we're going to talk about what's happening in Naomi's life.
Naomi went through suffering. She went through loss and she went through calamity.
>> Naomi was born in Bethlehem.
>> So she was an Israelite, >> but there was a famine in that country.
>> Real famine.
And what did exe who is her husband.
>> He said, "I'm going to take my family and we're going to leave."
A lot of us here, we left Haiti because we were hungry or because you want to admit it because you're doing good in America.
A lot of us, >> we left Haiti because of difficulties.
>> When we come here, those that are left behind, we >> we we tell them we're doing great here.
>> Show me how you're doing great.
Lame took his family.
>> They're going to Moab.
And they took the road and they left.
And guys, you know, not every decision God will open.
A lot of time we make decisions without talking to God.
We don't even know if God agrees or if he doesn't agree with it.
We make our choice however we see fit.
We never even think of the consequences.
>> Some choices you make the consequences are bad.
>> And when they got to Moab and a a little while after Elimc died, >> so what happened?
>> Naomi becomes a widow.
>> No husband.
>> In the meantime, They left with two kids. They had two kids.
When they reached Moab, >> the kids married two Moabites.
>> 10 years later, both kids died.
Now, >> she doesn't have a husband >> and she lost her kids.
>> Brothers and sisters, if you haven't gone through losing a kid, say thank you to Jesus.
>> It's a suffering you will live with till you die.
So I can't even tell you how Naomi was living.
>> But praise be to God.
>> A lot of times a lot of time those bitter things change to sweetness.
>> The reason why I say Ruth has the similar story to Naomi.
Naomi lost her husband and two kids.
>> Uh we lost her husband and her father-in-law.
So both of them they function with tears in their eyes.
Both of just like some of us here we have tears in our eyes that won't stop flowing.
A lot of us, we don't cry in front of people, but if our pillows, they like to gossip, they would say, "Oh, this person, they cry a lot."
>> But this morning, I would tell you, someone can dry your tears.
Naomi is facing problems.
>> Something happened.
>> Some news is spreading around.
The gossip is running around.
>> Naomi heard >> that God visited Israel.
>> She heard there's food in Israel.
>> Just like if you guys heard there's food, everybody's running.
A lot of us, we like to eat.
I will tell you sincerely, look for God's food because it's when you eat it, you feel satisfied.
>> Now Naomi is returning back to Bethlehem.
She has no reason to stay at Moab.
She doesn't have family in Moab.
>> That's not where she was born.
It's life's circumstance that brought her there.
And that circumstance gave her despair >> and she decided to return back home.
Now friends, I'm inviting you to return.
A lot of us, God is knocking at the door of our heart saying, "Come back."
>> God is telling you, "Leave sin.
God is saying, "Leave those programmed sins."
This is why you guys need to turn around.
It's God who is asking us to leave.
It's not the bread of Israel that is making her feel good, but it's what God is giving her.
Now, she made the decision to go back home.
The two ladies were with her.
Two of her daughter-in-laws.
She told them, "You know what?
>> You guys can come back with me.
You weren't born in Israel.
>> You weren't born in Bethlehem.
>> You weren't born in Judah. What you talking about? You want to go with me?
>> Stay in your house with your family.
I'll ask God for grace over you.
I'll ask him to bless you because you were good.
>> You were good with the dead.
and you're good with me.
The lady say, "No way. No way. We cannot leave for the Lord."
>> But Naomi was just in what she was saying.
She said, "You guys can't come with me."
And she told them why.
I have no other chance for you guys to marry.
I'm an old lady. I'm an old lady. I don't have plans to get married.
>> Even if that idea came into my mind, would you guys wait for me to have a kid for that kid to grow up and married with that kid?
And when she said that, >> one of them said, "Let me leave."
Oppa was crying with Ruth.
After Ruth said that, the water dried up.
A lot of times we see some situations happen. We leave >> in Creole. They say you left.
>> You leave.
They said Naomi said, "Go back. You're going to find your God at your house."
That shows that the Moabites did not have or believe in the same God as the Israelites because the text say their God.
It doesn't say the God who is the living God.
So she returned.
Now, I would like for you to tell me, what God are you serving?
Are you serving the living God?
>> Or do you have another God in your life?
>> It's very easy to say you're okay.
>> But I'm telling you this right now, you're not okay. You know why?
A lot of us have little gods in our lives that we are keeping close.
>> Money, power, when you want to serve God faithfully, those things cannot live in your life.
So Naami said do the same thing as your sister. Don't you see she left?
Nami say why you pressuring me?
>> I said I'm staying with you. I will stay with you.
You know a lot of people come in your life but they don't come to stay.
There's three type of people you will frequent in your life every day.
>> The first type They're friendly with you >> for the relationship.
>> They're friendly with you for power.
>> They're friends with you for what you have.
But when things get tough, they're gone.
>> There's a second type of friends.
They're friends with you.
>> Because they say I have, you have we can walk together.
>> One, there will be a time.
>> They will bounce.
There's a third category that will stay with you because they love you for realy.
That third category, >> they don't care if that is they don't say when that is not good, I'll be here.
>> They say when that is not good, I have to be here.
>> That's the type of people you need in your life.
I'm asking for God to put those type of people in your way.
We need those type of people.
When adversities come, these people need to be there.
When tribulations come, you need those people there.
At the same time, my friend, nothing happens one way.
That makes me understand Ruth was good.
Naomi was good, too.
Naami was a good mother-in-law.
>> My Haitians, you hear me?
Nami was a good mother-in-law.
Nami was a good mother-in-law.
You know why I am I'm staying on this point?
It's because in our culture, >> it's not easy to find a mother-in-law to to live well or to treat her daughter-in-law well.
And they say iron attracts iron, right?
If I lose a needle here, I cannot look for it with a string.
>> I have to um have a magnet >> so the magnet can find the needle.
That's why I understand Naomi was good.
Ruth wouldn't be so close to her like that.
And also I discover that Naomi gave Ruth um lessons of faith.
>> You this morning in this room, >> what model are you for the youth?
I'm talking to you. What model? What are you modeling for the youth?
When Ruth has problem which is the young people we use one word we don't mix you know why we say that we are women of faith women of prayer we don't mix with the youth if this is how you thinking this morning I'm saying you're not in this fight it's important to stand next to the youth It's it's important to lift them up.
It's important for you guys to give them hand when they fall to lift them up.
I can say I grew up in the SDA church because I've been there for a long time.
You know, it's a type of people that don't like to stand for each other.
Sorry guys, but you guys don't like to stand for each other.
>> You know why?
They think they're holy, holier than thou.
But let me tell you, you're not in heaven yet. You're on earth.
You need to learn how to tolerate others.
>> You need to learn how to live with others.
>> You need to learn how to stand up for others.
You need to know how to do that because it will benefit you as well.
>> When you teach the youth good examples, They become a a blessings for the society and they become a blessing in our lives as well.
>> Ruth become a blessing to Naomi.
Now they're going to travel together.
Both of them on the road.
You guys are used to bad roads.
a lot of us know when you're going through that road that you need support, the both of them, >> they took the roads together.
>> They're leaving Moab to return to Bethlehem.
What I like about God, he always makes a way for his kids.
He made a way for these women.
It wasn't an easy road. It was a long road from Moab back to Bethlehem.
>> They took the journey and they went together and they arrived.
>> And when they arrived, It was a time of festival. There are a lot of um festivities going on.
>> So they arrived during that time.
But I don't think they came looking nice.
Your inside is not good.
>> You're sad.
Do you think that it will show on your face?
>> No.
>> Also, you travel all this time. Now you come, you're looking all distraught, all disheveled.
>> You're looking disheveled.
>> Your face is not looking good.
>> When Naomi arrived, Someone said, "Isn't that Naomi?"
>> Only two. There's only two reasons why someone will say that.
>> It's when you're disheveled, you're not good.
They'll say, "Isn't that Naomi?"
And when God turn things around when they see youine, >> "Isn't that Christine?
only two ways they'll say that.
Let me also testify because we need a concrete gospel >> in 96 and 96. I went through adversity. I went to all the te's, calamity, all the te's.
And then one day, I had no idea what to do.
Life was not good for me at all.
All I saw was darkness.
>> I didn't even have a place to sleep with four kids.
Why?
I lost my house.
You know how Haiti is.
I lost my house. So, I went to the court trying to see if I can get it back because it was my house.
I have nothing left.
I went to see someone.
She wasn't Christian or Adventist.
>> She wasn't a good friend.
>> She was someone I knew.
I went to her.
>> You know what she said when she saw me?
She said, "Edit your problems because I can see it all over your face."
That makes me understand.
I had a capital P in my face that said pain.
She said, "I can see the problem in your face.
When I explained it to her, she went across the street from her house."
She had a house.
She know I have no money.
She negotiated with the person.
She The person told her she could have the house.
But how much are you going to pay me?
She paid the money that they asked for me.
And she said when I get back on my two feet, I can pay her back.
And that allowed me to have somewhere to stay.
There are good people, brothers and sisters. There are still good people around.
Haiti is facing some problems which makes you think that good people don't exist anymore.
>> But good people still exist.
>> Ruth told Naomi, "I'm standing with you.
I will be with you."
>> And she said she will do it till the end.
She said, "If I don't do it, >> death can take me away.
Because only death will separate me from you.
>> Today you have every reason to say nothing will separate you from the love of God.
>> Poverty will not separate you.
>> Tribulations will not separate you.
Nothing will separate you >> because after rain >> is the sunshine.
Amen.
>> There's good time that is away in Naomi and Ruth.
>> When they arrived, >> Ruth made the decision >> to go to work.
to go look for food a way to take care of her and Naomi brothers and sisters.
A lot of us here were lazy.
You guys don't like to work.
They want things to go smoothly, but they don't want to work.
And when things are going good for people who work hard, the first one complaining are those lazy people.
Some problems.
It's a big problem even in society right now.
>> You know, our little roofs, >> our young ladies They go to school.
>> They work hard.
Amen.
>> Amen.
>> They work hard. They go to school.
>> They do everything they can to uphold a standard.
>> And a bunch of lazy guys come and try to marry them.
Do you think that if Ruth was lazy that Naomi would go with her?
>> No.
>> No.
>> That's why young men.
Well, look after yourself.
Don't look after them today because it's women's day.
>> But handle them forever.
When you take care of them, it will benefit you.
When you're taking bad decisions, they'll be there.
>> I believe if Naomi could make a decision, they would not go to Moab.
A lot of time the men, >> they only have one theory for the ladies.
Huh?
I want something. So I order.
They have one theory.
>> I have I order it.
and you you just walk into it blindly.
That's for the men.
Now, ladies, when things are going bad, they're not just going to look at you in the eye.
You see what you did?
Remember I talked to you about this?
Now, they're not strong anymore. Now, the men are weak.
>> They have one response. Well, >> well, well, >> that's what they say when things go bad.
So I invite you men >> to stand by the women >> um discuss with them collaborate with them listen to them appreciate them don't neglect what they say when you guys are going through this journey together you will do it so you guys can become victorious >> and that time there won't be any tears years.
>> So now we're gonna go back to Ruth.
>> Ruth went to the um garden.
>> Um during that time, >> if you go to the farm, >> you spent the whole day there.
when the owner of the farm, when they um reap everything, >> what's left, they will give to you.
So Ruth went and she started did um sewing in the farm.
There's something Haitians like to say, "Huh?
It's a proverb.
>> When you're in the burning hot sun, >> you're waiting for a little something.
The sun is burning you.
You're thirsty.
You're waiting for what's going to be yours.
It's not easy.
>> So while Ruth was working in the garden >> and Bo's going to fall in love, >> Boaz fall in love.
You know why?
>> She's beautiful.
>> And what he's looking for has it.
>> She has faith.
Uh woman who has strength, who likes to work, >> a woman who is determined.
>> And in his mind, he says, "This woman will be good for me."
>> That's why ladies, >> my roofs, >> continue to go to school.
Continue to obtain knowledge.
Continue to love God.
>> A good morning.
>> What is yours?
>> God will give it to you.
>> Amen.
So brothers and sisters.
So Ruth continue and she realized that whatever she's going through, God was always there.
Me as well, I understand that in life a lot of times we struggle struggle but we don't fall.
Ruth was with her husband for 10 years.
She did not have any kids with him.
God always has a reason in every situation.
God already knew that husband was not going to be there forever.
So imagine how hard it is when a husband dies and leave a kid in the care. You're going to go through a lot.
When you're a widow and you have a kid, it's not easy.
>> While I'm speaking of widows, a lot of us are husband and I dead, but it's like we're widows.
>> Your husband's not dead, but we're living like widows.
Why?
Because we we are raising a bunch of kids by ourselves without fathers.
And you know what is messed up about it?
While you're raising those children by yourself, a lot of eyes are on you.
They're watching you.
They say single parent kids raised in single parents house are never good.
>> They say when you're raised by a single parent, it's never good.
>> It's not always true.
>> Because the example you give the kid, they'll take it.
Even if you think they're not listening, it's not true.
Even if they leave the church, they know God.
That's why you have to do your job well.
Now, >> now Ruth married Boaz and they have a son.
We can say that >> that the bitterness changed to sweetness.
>> That the bitterness of life changed to sweetness.
That's why we can say God restores.
>> Because this restoration man could not have done it.
Ruth is not from Bethlehem.
Ruth didn't believe in the same God as them.
Ruth doesn't have the same culture as them.
Ruth has a lot of barriers.
>> In the midst of the barriers, >> the the Lord will have her go through.
>> Now, I'm about to end, >> I'm asking God.
Whatever tribulation, whatever is not, whatever is making you not be able to stand, whatever is trying to finish with you, >> whatever make you look disheveled >> that he may erase it from your life.
Amen.
I ask God for all of you.
>> You've been crying for a long time to dry your tears.
But brothers and sisters, there's something else for God to do all those things.
There's a way you have to position yourself because you can't be a Christian for you not to have problems because problems they're going to be here forever.
>> Problem of today.
>> It will go away. But guess what?
Tomorrow they'll have another problem.
Don't forget I just told you how disheveled.
But look at me right now.
>> You can say God can restore.
If you look at me right now, you can see God is great.
And it's my pleasure to tell people.
>> I love talking about the love of God.
It's a way for you to understand what he did for me, he can do for you as well.
And when God bless you, don't keep it to yourself.
Share with others.
Some people see the palm of their hands, but you never see the back of their hands.
They always want something they want but they never re um turn their hand to give this is why I say you will see >> to share the the blessings of God right before I'm finished I will encourage you ladies >> look for a women's ministry to um join It will do you well.
Now I'm looking at these beautiful ladies.
I'm satisfied.
I know what work they're doing in society.
I know what they're doing in they're always working. They never speak.
You never call them for them to tell you no.
They're always present, never absent.
You may not choose to come to church every Saturday.
You have something in your head, >> Sabbath.
My Friday night is holy.
And Saturday, when Sabbath is done, I'm out.
>> During Sabbath, if you need me, okay.
But when Sabbath is over, I'm gone.
>> Brothers and sisters, we have to be faithful in every circumstance.
>> When you're faithful to God, >> you will be faithful to others.
When you're faithful to others, what happened in Naomi's life, it will happen in your life.
You will always find someone to stand with you.
Even if you can't find someone to stand with you, the angels of the Lord will stand with you.
>> So my wish for you, >> my men, I didn't forget you, my wish for you, brothers and sisters, um, hug God with perseverance. Embrace Embrace God with perseverance.
Embrace God with all your being.
>> When you're in difficult times, have faith.
>> Do not lose your faith.
>> Because faith, it's the key that opens all doors.
When you have faith, you don't talk bad about God.
When you have faith, everything that happens, you're happy.
When you have faith, even if you have no idea where you're going, >> you still keep going.
>> Because you know, when you get out of the valley, you will reach the mountains.
When you have faith, >> before you even pray, you're already waiting >> what your father will give you.
>> So this afternoon, brothers and sisters, >> Naomi, stand strong and my roots, >> don't let go.
>> Together, together we will reach.
May God bless you.
Praise the Lord everybody. Praise the Lord. Pal to my Ruth and my Naomi. I was saying on the thing I was like which one am I? Am I Ruth or my Naomi? Whichever you decide to be. But God is good.
I know that God had blessed you. You said it with such confidence and such assurance. I know that every one of us got something from the message today and I pray that we can apply it to our lives. We want to take this time to thank you so much for coming here for our women's day.
Beatatrice Noel. We also want to say thank you to Bea Beatatric Noel. She's not here. She had a family emergency, but her hand is in everything that you see here. She's had um she's been part of the programming. And so, we want to thank her for being part of the programming. And I know that she is far, but we want to say we acknowledge you.
We thank you. and we thank you for being part of the program and everybody else that said yes. We had the ladies that did the skit this morning in the poem.
Amen.
>> We gave it to them. They memorized their lines. They were so happy to do it. And we just want to thank them. We want to say thank you to our sister Camel that blessed us with the song. And not just Sister Camel. No. But then she came up here with her daughter and she blew it up. Amen. Train a child in the way that they will go and they will not depart.
Thank you for taking the time to train your daughter to bless us and also to praise the name of the Lord. That is the biggest and most important thing. And everyone that traveled from far and from near that came here today. We are honored that we had you among us and we pray that you are here with us. Now don't forget together. So we're going to eat together. Don't be alarmed about the time because we're going to still fellowship together and after we eat, we'll stay in the same place and we're going to have our presentation in the afternoon. So, we're going to just spend the time together to present and to just be in fellowship in God. Amen. Now, we're going to stand and we're just going to sing our last song.
Great is thy faithfulness. We're only going to sing the choruses.
There is no shadow of journey with thee.
Thou changes on. Thy compassion take them.
As thou hast been, thy forever will be. Great is thy faithfulness.
Great is thy faithfulness.
Great is thy faithfulness.
Morning by morning.
You worthy I see.
All I am thy great is thy kingom the Lord to me. There's a chorus.
Eternal King.
clean.
for eternal. Amen.
One of the go so why could it love to come.
Amen. Amen. You may be seated and then we will let you out. I also do want to take the I also wanted to take the time to also thank sister Janette and Pastor Carl.
the messet and pastor Carl. They were here till like midnight, 1:00 this morning doing the tables downstairs and um decorating and everything. And so we just want to take the time to thank them for the dedication to the church and for what they have been here. They've been here with us for a while.
>> Jessica, yes. And for the decorations, thank you so much.
May and Diane and Bernard, thank you so much for everyone that had a part in today's message.
>> I want to thank my husband for standing by my side and being there with us. I took a picture of him. It looked like he was in jail.
God bless. We'll see you downstairs. And the flowers downstairs, they're not for anybody to take home. They belong to me.
And then there was another woman named Ruth. She was from the land of Moab.
And she was met with grief and heartache.
She was a widow and she lived with her mother-in-law who was also a widow.
And now it was time to move on.
But Ruth had never been to Bethlehem.
She had never tasted of the house of bread.
But now she had heard an inner invitation to come and taste and see.
And so she vowed herself to her mother-in-law and said, "Where you go, I will go. Where you lie, I will lie.
Where you die, I will die." And she begins a journey to the promised land.
She's traveling through the desert.
and she's leaving her.
She's hoping for a future lead.
And he says, "I will put ring around your finger and I will be born for you to free the world from s again And then from Ruth who gave birth to a son, Oed who gave birth to a son, Jesse who gave birth to a son named David. Now this same once shepherd boy, mighty warrior, anointed king is alone, terrified in the darkness.
He's hiding in the desert.
He's battling despair.
David thinks his life is over.
It's over and he doesn't care.
God says I will be the rock of your salvation.
I'll hold you up by the strength of my right hand and the power of my spirit will free you from all fear in the hour of your deepest need. You'll find that I am near.
I am here.
will be the fire will be the glor. Glory in your midst and the power of my presence will bring you to your knees. And I will lift you up again.
It takes 90 seconds.
from the line of David.
Jesus
